The a muse pants almost made it! I love how the top rolls up to act as a shirt.... Now if they had made that a cozy lose dress/skirt...... That would have been a seller! Duh Lululemon! If it came on aquamarine we could all dress like jasmine!!!!

OT (Maybe it's the A-Muse pants that made me think of this), but when are the WMTM uploads? Are they a certain day every week like Monday with the regular uploads? I haven't noticed any pattern. Thanks!

This has inspired me to be Aladdin for Halloween. Now Lulu just need to make a vest in Concord Grape....

I don't hate the A Muse pants...and might even buy them on markdown. And, the naked seams on speed shorts definitely chafe, I can't even wear my "Run: a marathon" shorts, they leave scratches on my inner thigh, SO disappointing for $60 shorts.

If you were a Shriner these pants would work! Lulu FAIL!

I can't wait to see what the price is on these pants! They are U G L Y! What is the purpose of them, I just don't get it! I am however in LOVE with the ray WU and cannot wait to grab me a pair :-)

Run a marathon shorts were "recalled" for that reason. Bring it back to the store for a GC

I believe the price is either $118.00 or $108.00--Amusing!!!

Yikes! My husband likes the waistband, actually I do too. It's what's happening in the bottom that's not my cup of tea. If only it's a skirt.....

That jumper is REDONKULOUS! It looks far too short to be flattering or useful. . .Also I think you MUST have a particular bodyshape for that to be passable. Short torsos are a no no. . . I DIG the black on black dots for the sun sprinter crop! Black on black!! Those are grown up dots =D Def a WOULD WEAR! Not exactly liking the side panels with the mini ruching. I think these would accentuate hippiness and would be unflattering on someone with legs they are uncomfortable showing. I would much prefer those black on black dots in a WU! That would be UNDERSTATED FUN. . . for those who want to just keep their hand in fun without actually joining in! LOL!! I would wear black on black dots of WU,deep breathe tank, and turbo shorts.

A Muse pants look like gang-banger pants - you know - those guys that wear their pants hanging and the crotch of the pant is at their shin...I wonder if that's where the inspiration came from?

anon: 8;39 Inspiration is CLEARLY Glad Garbage Bags and neon highlighter -- oh and of course tucking towels into the front of bras!!

I wish the cross my heart bra would come back! I am dying to try the inner heart. I hope it's a decent substitute!

If you go on the website right now and click on the run in the sun skirt in black, it pulls up a model wearing the jumper in black. Cute.

Hate all you want, but I actually like the a muse pants (tho I may keep the Moroccan jewellery to a minimum). I fully intend on trying them on when they hit the stores, and if they fit well, on stalking the wmtm section of the site for a decent discount.

@anon 6.34 - the jumper does look good in plain black. Seems weird though for those pics to be up with the run in the sun skirt. Mistaken upload? ;-)

@anon 7:10, I don't know if it was mistaken or a clever way to market? I was wondering when I came across it. I loved seeing it in black though.

Thanks for the picture tip. Yes, the dress looks cute, though I will not want to run in it. Definitely suitable for tennis! Kinda like a retro tennis look. Me likee. :)

Hi everyone- I am hoping you can help since you're all so in-the-know with Lulu. I have a TON of Lulu stuff I'd like to sell. Most of it is in brand-new condition...things I only wore once or twice. I've got speed shorts, CRB, as well as some one-off styles from the past couple of years. Mostly size 4. Where would you recommend I put the things up? I've had good success on ebay in the past, but I hate all the fees. Ideas? THANK YOU!! Also, this site is awesome. So bad for my savings account, but I love it. ;)

Anon 8:35 - try Lululemon Exchange on facebook.

Those amuse pants are not even amusing! Just silly! What are they thinking? And polka dots? Ugh how awful, though, ok for a 12 year old! The new yellow looks refreshing!

@Christie, I too love the Cross My Heart bra and wish they'd bring it back. I bought two of the Inner Heart bras and I noticed that as I run (and this may just be me), it's like the straps are too long or something and I feel the need to keep pulling them up and back b/c the bra just wants to slide down and become more cleavagy. For sizing reference, I am a 34D and have been a solid size 6 in the sports bras no matter which I true (TaTa Tamer excluded). And when I just have them on and am not doing anything, like pre or post run, they don't do the downward slide, but when I run, they def slide southward in front, which is a bummer. IMO, it is definitely not a great replacement for the much beloved Cross My Heart :(

@purrfiktangil: Thank you for your reply. I am so sad to hear that. The cross my heart bra was the first and only sports bra that I could wear under tanks without having to double up by wearing a regular bra under. I am so disappointed. I had a cross my heart in paris pink that I went and sold on ebay. I didn't like the bleeding factor. Now I wish that I had of kept it. Several times a day I check to see if one happens to pop up on the site (keep dreaming). I will try it on and hope that it works for me...doubtful! I may have to pay close to $80 or a cross my heart on ebay. Anyone have a size 8 they are looking to sell? Thanks again! :)

I actually think the girl in the top photos looks good in the A Muse Me pants! I think she can pull it off bc she is Indian, I think she looks adorable. I don't think 99% of the population could pull this look off though and I am definitely not remotely interested in owning a pair. What the heck is LLL thinking?!

Anonymous said...

no offense, but how stereotypical was it for LLL to pose a woman of some middle eastern descent in those fugly pants. i mean, really, LLL, you had to stoop that low to attempt to sell a product that will clearly be the latest laughing stock of your company??? (yeah, how are those harem pants stuck on WMTM working out for your bottom line?) now, don't get me wrong, she is a beautiful woman and probably rocks any LLL product out there...but I can't help but roll the eyes at these particular pics. it just lacks class, IMHO.

I am not sure where most of the people posting the negative comments about the A muse me pants are from.

I like these pants, there is something unique and elegant about them.
I like the way they look on the woman in the picture. The waist band is flattering, they will look great with flip flops and a bikini top, or a CRB. The only thing I don't like is the price.
open your minds ladies.
