Rehearsal LS is Back and More

People are very excited that the Rehearsal Long Sleeve has made a return to the stores. (Not me, it's made of running luon and it's June. Where's my hot weather run/exercise tanks? Where are more Every Yogi tees in prints?) It comes in black, heathered gray, and Quiet Stripe. The fact that it's coming in Quiet Stripe and running luon is not a June fabric makes me thing this was held up in shipping or production. I wonder if the sleeves fit any looser this time round.

Posting this for the outfits on the mannquins - the Tie and Fly Singlet, the new run shirt (still don't have a name). In the foreground is the Diversity Wunder Unders and the My Mantra Short Sleeve.

Showing the new Ray Swiftly tee and Seaside Dot Turbo Shorts.

Run For Your Money Jumper

Did the Porcelaine Beachy Floral Power Y make it to the US? I don't see it on our side of the website but it's on the Canadian side.

Am I the only one who would like to see the demise of the Turbo Shorts and the return of the Groovy Runs?

Now that we are hitting summer months do you all anticipate more shorts? I need shorts with a longer inseam like Turbo run but they dont have any my size online. I see lots of new crops and tops but no shorts which I really need. Do they usually upload lots of shorts in the summer?

I am so excited for the rehearsal ls. Does anyone know if it is still priced at $78?

LLA, I'm with you, I think the Rehearsal LS was held up and just now being released. Good for the people that want that top or love the quiet stripe, even now during summer.

Same with the Flash light, I think it's the same color only somehow LLL was stuck with two different shades of a ton of fabric and needed to use it up. You think they would have waited until next year and give it a new name. I just can't bring myself to buy it.

I have really loved wearing, collecting, LLL, and of course reading, sharing and discussing opinions about fit, style and color, it's just a bit weird that we are starting to have so much suspicion about the selling strategies and tactics of a clothing company for Gods sake!

Goodness, can we just buy some cute clothes? Really, we want to spend our money, you don't have to trick us out of it!

Oh, and LLA thank you for working over the weekend!

That poser shopping bag is SO cute! Are those in stores or shipped with online orders??

Hmmm does anyone else wonder if "Flash Light" is the manufacturer's attempt to fix the bleeding issues of "flash" ??

So can someone please explain the Run for Your Money Jumper to me? Is it a romper? Or a dress? If it's a dress, do you have to wear shorts underneath? How on earth do you put it on?

I think it has shorts built in with the two sides of the skirt, meeting in the front with a little over lap

Anon 3:24pm,I got the "Poser" bag (one small and one large) with my last two online orders. I'd give you mine if I could, I don't care for it myself!

Can anyone tell me how the Rehearsal LS fits? I would love that!I was in my Lulu store today and asked about the Medtitate pullover coming in different colors and the ED said she was sure that they were not getting anymore in other colors since we are going into Summer. I have the black and white and can't decide which one to keep! Anyone have white and how does it wash/wear?

The porcelain beachy floral power Y has been in the San Francisco stores for awhile now....

I also wish the groovy run shorts would come back! I tried on some speed shorts today (the white background, large black dots), and I swear they keep getting shorter!!

I wear Turbo Runs only because they're they only ones lulu currently sells with a 4 1/2" inseam. I just bought a pair of Groovy Runs on ebay for $50 and was thrilled to get them! At 5' 11" and all leg, I've never even attempted the Speed shorts. I loved the Run: The Fastest shorts they came out with last summer, and I hope to see some more like them or Groovys soon.

I would love to see some more "play on the sun" shorts. So cute but so quickly gone. Good grief, it just got over 40 degrees here. Anyone know if there will be more? Maybe I'm the only one who liked them?

Anyone know if any orange county stores have the quiet stripe rehearsal ls?

Same here, the porcelain beachy floral power Y has been in the Santa Barbara store for a while too. Love to see Ray in either CRB or Power Y.

And I echo @Tracy Reifkind up above. Thanks LLA for working the weekend. I find myself continuously checking for updates on Saturdays and Sundays. (Yes, I do have a life! lol! But Sundays are usually "home" time, so it feels like I have plenty of leisure time...) Sundays do seem usually quiet, so this is a bonus! :)

I love my The Fastest shorts too. They're the only Lulu shorts that work on me, and they're better than any of my other running shorts. I don't really like the way they look, though: not a fan of the "frowny face" stitching on the back, and the placement of the circle mesh on the hips look like VPLs. Even so, I'd buy more pairs if they made them.

I missed the Rehearsal LS the first time around, so I'm glad to see them come back. I wonder if they'll sell out quickly, or end up on markdown since they're the wrong season.

Will the Rehearsal LS be online this week? Hope so!

The girl in the foreground is rockin those polka-dot WU's!! They look amazing on her. On me, FAIL. I can't wrap my head or body around any of the latest garb...its just NOT!!

The floral beachy power y has been sold out on the us site for a few weeks. I love mine and it looks good with my porcelaine define.

does anyone know if the run for your money jumper will be available in the US? either in stores or online?

We had that floral power Y in NC for several weeks now. I bought one and then returned. It's cute but I have plenty of tanks at this point.

And I'm excited about rehearsal LS, too. I tried one on on MD in December and rejected it (too tight in chest and flowy below a big chest isn't ideal), but I'm a sucker for rulu, so here I am, back again, ready to pay full price.

I wonder if it will even come to NC, though, with all this heat coming and them having recently marked down their henleys and every yogi LS.

I tried on and bought the LS Rehearsal this morning. I do not have the original, as I was not a lulu addict until this year. It is still $78, the sleeves are fitted but I did not find them tight at all. I went TTS.

oh and the person who asked, the Poser bag has been at my location for a couple of weeks now. There is also one that says Run (lululemon log) Run.

Groovy Run Shorts....best LLL product EVER. Of course they had to discontinue them. The Turbos flare too much at the bottom for me.

To the Anon asking about the Meditate Pullover, I own all four colours: white, black, fossil and dune. The black is my least favourite because it picks up every single particle floating in the air, so it seems! I have not experienced any of the issues reviewers on the site have complained about: no stains, no unraveling cuffs, etc. with the white one or any of the other three colours.

As for the Rehearsal LS, I have two from the the first run, in heathered Black Swan and heathered gray. I didn't get the solid black and later regretted it. So here I am hoping it'll be released again in black. I don't particularly care for the quiet stripe but might as well order it since I truly love the fit, fabric, length and design of this top.

I'm a huge groovy short fan! My running partner participated in a focus group with corporate LL several months ago and was told they will bring back the groovy short in Fall 2012. I'm holding out!

Thanks so much Anon 9:17 for the great reviews on the Meditate and Rehearsal LS! Very helpful!! I'll think the white will be the one I'll keep.

Count me in as one who's excited about that Rehearsal top. I get that this is a season when we need tanks and shorts but since I only discovered Lulu three months ago I've also been drooling over the cute wraps and jackets from past seasons on eBay. Not that I'm going to pay those jacked up prices but it makes me eager to see their fall line. I'm taking a trip to the California coast in a few weeks and could use some warmer items like that for layering.

That said, I wasn't impressed by the Meditate Pullover. I tried it on and for that price I'd want something a little more unique. The style did nothing to highlight my shape. While comfy, it didn't look much different than a plain old sweatshirt with a slightly wider neckline. For fit, I'm pear shaped and wear an 8 in Lulu bottoms, a 6 or 8 in tops (if they have a flowing waistline, which is where I carry my weight, I can get away with 6), and found the Meditate in 6 fit fine. Not sure I'd want to size down any more since the sleeves might get too snug and it might be a tad bit too tight around my belly.

Does anyone know what's going on with the Canadian website? All these pictures of tank tops are on there, like the Swift, but then when you click into it, all the sizes in all the colours are sold out. Are they just restocking and haven't gotten around to certain products yet? I kept getting excited, then disappointed...

I have to agree with that Tracy Reifkind said. Something has changed with lulu, and its putting a somewhat sour taste in my mouth. I don't get how little stock they put online for some of their new products. And they sell out by the time I even get out of bed in the morning to look! And I'm not going to stay up all night and wait for the upload.. no thanks. And since they don't have a store where I live, online is the only option! They are just allowing all the greedy people to put the items on ebay at twice the cost!

Anonymous said...

@anon 6:46am. I totally agree with you. I can't stay up until 11:20pm PDT. I have to be up way to early in the morning & there's just something wrong with having to stay up late in order to buy clothing regardless of the brand--having to stay up late in order to even have a chance at getting an item. I'm not going to stalk my local stores, either, which is what I have to do in order to have a chance at an item since items sell out so fast.

I find myself waking up in the middle of the night on Mondays to check the site. It's so ridiculous. I don't stay up, and I don't set an alarm. But I find myself awake at 2 in the morning thinking about lulu, so I just give in and check the website. Last week I ordered my TaTaTamer at 3a.m. What is wrong with me???! Perhaps I should discuss with my therapist? :) this has really gotten out of hand.

The Rehearsal LS was really tight in the arms, shoulders, and upper chest (from armpit up) on me and then flared out like a tent. Since I am busty it looked awful. I'll try and post some photos of educators in it.

OMG IM THE SAME! How does my body know?!?!?!!
So messed! I have a problem!!!! How do I fix it?!?!?! Even after I boycotted one store in my city for bad service! I'm worse then LLA. My friends think I'm crazy ( but also love my collection) ahhhhhhhh! You guys are the only ones that get me

I've been annoyed with the WU price up. It is such a small thing 4$ up. Right? Why is it bothering me to the point I just don't want Lulu things right now?

Anonymous said...

@ Minda--because the quality has gone down! It bugs me too. I saw the beachy floral WUs for the first time this wknd. They are so thin--yet they were marked up to $72. Ridiculous!

Anonymous said...

I kinda naturally wake up every morning around 3am to go to the restroom because I drink so much water in the evenings, and I hate it.... 6 nights a week. But I don't mind at all on Monday nights! I sleep with my iPad on the nightstand, so as soon as I wake up, I check the upload. I ordered wunder grooves at 3:30am last week. And as I'm reading what I just typed, I realize it sounds insane. But am I looking forward to waking up tonight and seeing this supposedly amazing upload?? Absolutely!!!

Kristin said...

@ Minda & Anon 10:33--

Sistas, I hear you loud and clear! My sentiments exactly! I know it's only $4 but the quality isn't any better. In fact, the quality has gotten worse. EVERYTIME I try on a pair of wu (or any other lulu crop for that matter), I do the bend over test in EVERY mirror in my house and in EVERY type of lighting to ensure the world doesn't get a peek at my goodies! (I'm an instructor too!) I'm surprised I haven't thrown my back out w/ all the twisting torquing I do while checking out my own a** while bending over to do the "see-thru" test. Geez. Ya know what I mean!

Anonymous said...

Ha! I was doing the bend over test while standing on the edge of the tub in my bathroom that has a window in it, trying to determine if my newest lulu crops were see through. I was holding on to the towel bar, bent over, and trying to look backwards into the mirror. I nearly fell off and I thought "how would I explain that I broke my neck trying to determine if my $86 crops were making me a show-and-tell while lifting weights?!" Crazy! My neighbor makes me come over and watch her bend over in the sunlight on the back porch. I think it's time she returned the favor. ;)

Anonymous said...

I just returned the beachy floral CRB tank. It was SO THIN? The girl in the store said "it's the same material" Ummmm no it's not. if you feel it, it's not as soft and it was itchy and see through. come on Lulu, don't be Cheap!!

anon 4:21, I just got the Play in the Sun shorts on MD for $29. Only one pair, in black. But I loved how they looked. Wish I'd noticed them sooner.
