Pop Orange Swiftly
Whew! Nothing for me on this upload. Those Presta Padded shorts are pricey at $88. Did you all get anything?

Nope. I was hoping for some Pow Pink this week!! My wallet is safe..:)

LLA check out the first photo of the PRESTA VEST in white for a weird camel toe with the Padded shorts!!

Nothing for me from this latest upload too but now might be a good time to get those I've been eyeing for a while now. :)

Also safe. Waiting for Bruised Berry CRB!
Tempted by Ray Bound Bra though, and the BB Swiftly Racerback. And some stuff on the US side that I can't get in Canada. Where do I find one of those Lulu angels if I want to order from the US side?

The Velo Vixen Shorts in BB show the same ugly wrinkles in the crotch!

BB In Stride. I don't think it'll reach my house before I leave on a weeklong vacation. I hope I get a good pattern of dots since Lulu apparently can't be trusted to put a bit of thought into that sort of thing.

Hmm, thinking about the shorty shorts that just showed up in WMTM.

Tempted by the ray bound bra and the silver speed shorts. I was also thinking I could use an orange tank but the pop orange swiftly looks washed out to me so that was an easy pass. Overall nothing I can't live without.

RAY SPEED SHORTS. IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!

rileygirl said...

Debating on the ray bound bra, the ray speed shorts, and the silver speed shorts. Disappointed that there's no POW Pink and the Pop Orange is a bummer.

Anonymous said...

I decided to try the pop orange switfly racerback and ray speed shorts (i'll have to see them on before i know whether i'll keep them) but i also got a BB In Stride and BB flor y bra... I never return classics like those!

rileygirl said...

All of you getting the ray speeds, what will you wear them with? I wore my ray swiftly tank with my dot speeds and dot skirt and love the look but need more ideas.

Anonymous said...

i hope apple green from the men's side makes it to the women's line! it's soo pretty!

Nothing for me! No pow pink....

Nothing for me. I was in the store yesterday and picked up a pair of Presence pants.
Has anyone tried the workout wear line ZOBHA ? I saw the tanks at City Sports and they look really well made but the fabrics felt very heavy. Any reviews ?

Nothing for me either, from the new upload. Although, I am lucky enough to score a coal DSJ in the WMTM! ;)

Just the No Show Ultimate socks in bruised berry/white white high noon dot for me. I really like the Presta Packable Shirket in the seaside bruised berry dot pattern, but since I am a runner and stay far, far away from bikes, I can't justify it and it's too warm down here to get any use out of it until the fall. That said, if it had a hood, I would have given in for sure. I am still looking for an adorable lightweight hooded waterproof jacket.

I purchased the bb swiftly tank, ray & silver speed shorts, and the velo vixen cycling shorts ( shorter ones) in black. Going to try them. I'm a spin instructor as well as an outdoor cyclist so I'm more curious than smitten with the cycle line. Inexpensive Pearl Izumi padded shorts can be $80 so I thought I'd try LLL just to mix it up a bit. Actually like the ray presta vest because would be very visible on the road but not ready to spend $98 on it yet. I'll let you know what I think of the shorts. (however, living on the East coast, I won't receive them until next week!)

Anonymous said...

Would really like to try the ray bound bra but apprehensive since I'm a 34c. Reviews say not good coverage for my size. Aren't all the cutesy, sexier bras made for the smaller bust?? Wish LLL would make the bound, arise, etc bras with a little more coverage in the front. Those always have the cuter straps. It's not like I'm huge! :(

Anonymous said...

I purchased some zobha a few months back. Complete waste! Fabrique heavy and bad tailoring. I cant wear either top because the bunch weird and hurt my armpits. The pants gap in the back. Never again and there prices are higher than lululemon. Even with lululemons issues at times their quality is overall the best.

Desacratrix said...

Looks like the presta padded shorts might actually have a real chamois, but I need to check them out in the store. $88 for good cycling shorts is really pretty cheap, and I love Luxtreme for cycling. I picked up the shirket, the purple polka-dotted jersey, and some run response shorts for my someone special.

Anonymous said...

I am also a 34C and tried on the Run: Bound Bra in a size 6 (which works for all other bras and tanks). It fit me fine but there was A LOT of cleavage and definitely no where near enough support for anything. It was cute though. If I sized up it would definitely be too lose and even less support.

Nothing for me today. I really do want the LS Rehearsal in grey. I guess I will call the Hyde Park Tampa shop. . . Its only an hour drive LOL.

i have noticed the align mat on WMTM. has anyone used it?

Focus said...

Nothing I had to have.

Besides, I have to deal with my play in the sun shorts issues first...2 pairs ordered in the past few weeks, both pairs with an exponentially larger right side pockets...so sad! I tried everything to convince myself I could live with a larger right side pocket...I can't... My love affair with them ends :(

Anonymous said...

I just bought the Ray Bound Bra yesterday. I am 36C/D and went with a size 10 (I usually wear an 8 in LLL bras). It's still got some super cleavage city action going on, but the bra is soo dang cute that I had to get it!

lexa said...

I got woke up at 3:30am and ordered a bruised berry In Stride. Glad I did cuz now my size is gone. That was it for me, if I would have had more money there were a couple of other things I would have gotten. Will have to wait til Friday (my pay day) and see if my sizes are left in the other things I liked. :)

Anonymous said...

Wallet safe...., waiting for the bruised berry CRB as well.

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me! I'm hoping that they don't take the fact that we aren't buying the weird short tank as a hint we don't wanna see more pink pow!!!!! More pow pink please!!!! Eeeeee! I was just disappointed with the upload! That skirt makes the person look like a clown!!!!!!!

Love the jacket! And the vest! Would only buy at extreme markdown though ! ( like the old days when you'd see jackets for 29$!)

Very happy I snagged a deep breathe tank in flash light! Love the fit! Hope too see pink pow next week!

Kristin said...

Nada. I was tempted by ray speeds but completely unsure what to wear w/ them besides black/white.

Beth said...

I got the silver and ray Speed shorts (I love speed shorts), the Pop Orange Swiftly tank (not sure if I'll love the color, but I was worried it will sell out while I thought about whether or not I really want it, so that might get returned), and the Run: Roll Down short in the grey stripes. Not sure if I'll love the Roll Down shorts, either, but when you live 2 hours away from the nearest lulu you wind up doing some returns.

Sourkraut said...

Wow, absolutely nothing catches my eye. But then I'm not a cyclist so that whole line is lost on me. The good thing is that since I live on the East Coat my order from last week should be getting here today. At least I'll still have some Lulu excitement in my life today.

As for the fit of the Bound Bra, I think if you're bigger than a B cup you should try it on first. I'm 34B/36B (depending on how much I've eaten) and I had to buy the biggest size they sell, which is a 10. I could probably have gone with 8 (I wear an 8 or 6 in tanks) but then the straps cut into my back in an unattractive way. I get that they know the bra won't offer enough support for bustier gals to run in it but why not let the customer decide if it works for her? I can see it being worn for low-impact activities, weight lifting, lounging, etc. I hate that they deliberately don't manufacture those bras in bigger sizes for you gals. I wore mine for three-mile run last week and it worked fine. As I said, if you're any bigger you might need to try it to see if you're comfortable with the support and how much it shows. Not that I have much to show!

Anonymous said...

Heads up: The Free To Be Bra in Flash Light was restocked in sizes 4 and 6. The color swap is not showing on the main page, only when you click on the bra. Glad I scored one because they are selling for a lot more on ebay.

Sourkraut said...

Ugh, I was trying to figure out why the Hot But Not tank was listed as new when I realized there's another damn dot print available. I keep reading the glowing reviews of the tank and know it would be just perfect for me but I can't stand those sloppy-looking dots. Even worse, there's always a risk the dot placement will be, shall we say, awkward in the boob area. I will stay strong and continue to wait for a color I actually like. It's getting harder and harder to do with each upload.

Jek said...

I purchased zobha and it's so-so. They have wunder under like crops in cute colors- I have two pairs. They're alright. They don't pill like LLL WU's.
However, they are not as nice IMO as LLL. Their tops are a complete waste of money. They're way too thick. And the construction is bad.

Kristen said...

Just socks for me yay! I'm pretty excited to give me wallet a little break. I've really loved some of my recent purchases but need a break. That being said I'm also holding out for a the BB crb.

Anonymous said...

I REALLY wanted the ray speed shorts in a size 4 but when I went to check out they were taken out of my cart!!! I was so annoyed. Dont you hate when that happens? Anyways, I ended up buying the run:bound bra in ray and the flow y bra in berry. Hopefully someone will return the ray speeds and I will be able to buy them! Ugh not having a store close by is such a bummer!

Anonymous said...

Not a thing for me.

Anonymous said...

run:shorty shorts just got uploaded to WMTM!!

Katie said...

I considered the ray speeds, but since I am trying to limit my lulu to only things I can't live without I passed so nothing for me. Only 2 deep breath tanks and 1 define for me in roughly a month. A record. A PP is right, $78 for cycling shorts is the price of pearl izumi's low end so not bad. Will check out the Velo vixen in my store. The chamois is key!

Anonymous said...

For those holding out for a BB CRB, you won’t regret it. I got one from a partner store and it is one of my favorite Lulu items ever. I’m wearing it today (at work, with my Target DSP knockoffs that I got on clearance for $22 – woohoo!). I may buy a 2nd CRB, it’s so gorgeous. I also got the black dot WU crops, because I found one pair with good dot placement. But they’re see-through, so I may not keep them. Nothing else tempted me, but that’s AOK. I’m happy saving my $$.

Anonymous said...

Do not buy the align mat! It is very slippery. I bought is for an intro to yoga alignment class in a very air conditioned room. I was slipping from the first down dog. If you contact lulu about it, they will tell you to put a towel with it. You might as well put the money towards "the mat"

I have an "embark" mat at target that works much better even in a 90+ degree flow class.

Anonymous said...

PS re: align mat, I understand there is some process of breaking in a mat when slipping can occur. I tried to use the align mat for four months before going back to my $15 target mat.

Hey, did y'all notice Barbie is gone?? Anyone miss her?

OT - does the Some Like It Hot crop have any pockets at all?

Anonymous said...

I purchased Wandering Yogi crops in the charcoal gray color, and sadly they are see-through. :( Not sure if I should keep them now...I definitely can't wear them to yoga, but maybe I can keep them to wear as lounge wear. But $78 for see-through lounge wear seems a bit pricey...but they are just so cute.

Anonymous said...

I have 2 pairs of Zobha crops and love them. They're very soft, comfortable and works well for yoga and hiking. I'm size 4 in Lulu and size 2 in Zobha.

Crash said...

Oh man! I was considering the Wandering Yogi crops in char gray, so thank you so much for the info, Anon 7:56am! I def don't need any $78 lounge pants. I should get the Silver Bullet tank today that I ordered last week on WMTM, but other than that, I'm lulu-free this week. The cycling capsule means nothing to me, but I'm happy for those who are enjoying it! I've got my fingers crossed for the CrossFit capsule this December. :) And seriously, as I sit here typing this at 10:15am CDT, the UPS guy just delivered the sandals I ordered on Zappos yesterday at 4:30pm. Less than 18 hours from ordering to delivery, totally free shipping. Lulu could learn a thing or two from them in that aspect.

Lauren said...

I didn't order anything today...yay especially since I'm doing a 1 month "buy nothing" (besides groceries) challenge.
I did order the wandering yogi crops in heathered white last week (before I started my challenge) and Im really sad to hear even the charcoal is see through! The white will most definitely be see through as well I am guessing. So disappointing. Why don't they test any of these things before???

Anonymous said...

@Anon 4:58am: My align mat fell apart within a month. I've had cheaper mats last longer. I now use the Manduka (not the super thick heavy one-a lighter version).

Anonymous said...

anon 11:36 THAT is awful! I can't believe they would even put that on the website! Oh wait... with their quality control - yes I can.

Lauren said...

I am actually relieved to see that camel toe!!! Lol. I get camel toe in some lulu pants/crops and I thought it was just me, since they are supposed to PREVENT camel toe...glad to know it's not just me!!! Lol

I'm disappointed that the seaside dot crb has yet to show up online. Didn't we see a picture of it some time ago on this blog?

Anonymous said...

Sorry, I meant seaside dot power y.

Jess said...

It's sad. Didn't order a thing today and just packaged up a huge order to send back! It sucks that I want to spend the money at Lulu and since I don't have a store I have to spend $20 sending it back because of poor quality, not because it didn't fit :( what a waste!

Anyone else notice that lulu is not posting some negative reviews on their website? I did two on the weekend and they are still not up!

Nicole @ Haute Running Mama said...

@anon 8:19 the seaside dot CRB should be online as I ordered it last week. I love it! It goes with everything(crops, shorts, skirts) and every color :) Go scoop one up!

Anonymous said...

I only got the silver speeds since the ray speeds were taken from me at checkout! Hopefully they will have them in my store.

Anonymous said...

I have the Wandering Yogi crops in the light grey color and they are not see through at all.
Also, this may be the wrong forum to ask this, but does anyone have any tips for removing/hiding the lululemon logo?

yogabody said...

I have the wandering yogi crops in charcoal and they are NOT see thru! I bought my reg size & wore them to yoga and then to tower class. For reference, I am 5'5", 121 lbs and wear size 6 in all fitted lll bottoms.

sophia said...

got the BB flow y (i've been waiting for some more colored flow y bras), and a BB hot n sweaty skirt...tried the skirt on the store and my first reaction was "omg, this is the most comfortable skirt EVER". had to get it...not planning on using it for yoga, but will definitely see some wear while hiking. i like that it doesn't have the grippers on the legs (more comfortable, and when you get sweaty enough always ride up) and the zip pocket (digs into you when wearing a backpack). plus, it's superlight and dries quickly...WIN

Sourkraut said...

@Jess, I've never had a problem with a negative review not being posted but I have noticed that it seems to take longer for them to show up on the site. I wonder if they have some sort of vetting process and ones with lower star ratings automatically get scrutinized while more positive reviews can slip under the radar.

Interestingly, I noticed a while back that some silly girl posted a glowing review of the Hot But Not tank before she'd even gotten it in the mail and tried it on. Her review was all about how she's sure she would love it when it got there. It wound up getting tons of "not helpful" votes. I went ahead and posted a polite reply saying she might not want to rate it since she can't revise or rate again if she gets it and hates it. My reply never showed up but I noticed they took her review down shortly after. Makes me think they don't scrutinize positive reviews and didn't realize until I posted how useless her review was.

Anonymous said...

I got the BB Y-Flow. Love the color and will be a nice alternative to black when I need a darker sports bra. Really hoping for a BB CRB soon!

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me but a pair of socks. Where is all the pow pink?! And furthermore, the pow pink and BB WUC? I wonder if they won't be available online?

I agree with the user writing about Zappos, how they get their stuff to my house that fast is beyond me. Really wish lulu could pull that off, takes them a week to get to my house. I also love shopbop.com, free shipping and returns and they get stuff to my house in less than 3 days too.

Sourkraut said...

The shipping thing gets on my nerves a little too as it takes a solid week to get to my house. By then the next week's upload has happened and I don't even know if I'm going to keep the stuff from the previous week's order. But then I remind myself it's free with no minimum purchase. Really, FedEx is to blame as I have the same issue with other FedEx orders. Then again, that is the shipping agent they choose to use when it's obvious there are faster ones out there. A small gripe but I do get antsy waiting for my beloved Lulu packages to get here. I have one waiting for me at home as we speak from last week's upload. I can't wait to get out of work and get home to my baby!

Anonymous said...

I live in Portland and the warehouse appears to be in Seattle. So if I order at 11pm during upload time the package reaches me by Wednesday morning.

Minda said...

You crack me up Sourkraut!
-I like coming home on Tuesday Afternoons to read what everyone got! - Oh I'm really loving my wunder under groove crops. - Seems like I keep going back and back to these! I went to look at website to see if I should get another pair and POOF! They vanished from crop page!

Someone asked about colors and use. - I have a bright pair of Wunder Under Crops in FLASH. I wear them 3 times a month at least. I seem to gravitate more toward wearing the black WU's or the Black wee are from space WU's Those are big time staples for me. Other days I'm wearing the brightly colored beyond yoga gathered crops.
You will get a lot of use out of your colored crops if you want to! I know you mentioned being worried about not getting use out of them.

It is just a matter of how you feel!

Anonymous said...

I just got my shipment from last week, and I love love love the groove shorts in BB! I also love my ray CRB, but I think the only reason I can pull it off right now is because of my tan... I have a feeling that once winter hits and my skin goes back to its typical pasty white shade I will have to tuck it away in a drawer!

Anonymous said...

Minda-

You said you love your Wunder Groove Crops. I actually just bought a pair last week from the site, and I got my usual 4 and they fit really nicely, but they are crazy sheer when I bend over. Unfortunately I discovered this from wearing them in class and lll won't take them back (store blamed sheer summer luon, gec blamed wrong size). Have you had sheerness issues?

Anonymous said...

OT -- why do you think the Recognition pant went on markdown-- even in basic black? One Ed told me a couple of months age that it was going to be a staple, core item.

Minda said...

@Anon 1:50pm oh NO! I'm sorry about the sheer thing! Mine aren't like that at all. They are super dark and have a nice weight to them. I thought about getting more of them because I was so happy with them!

I wonder if its the SEVERAL different locations that things are being made in that gives lulu such a hard time regulating. There seems to be little consistency.
-
DEF send those suckers back - hopefully you can find a good pair somewhere.

I'd like to know if you got another pair that isn't sheer or if you just went with another style/brand! Take care!

Anonymous said...

Nada for me. But I would like to comment that $88 for cycling shorts is cheap, though I did not see the quality of the shorts to comment.

Anonymous said...

Thanks, Minda. Unfortunately lll won't take them back because I already wore the Wunder Groove Crops. I tried on a 6 in the store when I tried to take the 4s back, and the I didn't have the same problem, but that's because they were a little loose. I have an unfortunate body for some lll crops in that I have a butt and a smaller waist.

Anonymous said...

Got the Swiftly Tanks in Pop Orange and Bruised Berry. That's it for me. Not into cycling so I'm relatively safe this week. Skipped the Bruised Berry Power Y Bra cuz hoping for new bra style which would give me more support like the new Run Bound Bra or Ta Ta Tamers OR the Bruised Berry color in these two styles. I don't like Ray so I'm safe from those items.

Anonymous said...

Ot, but I wish they would bring back tanks and bras with adjustable bands.. LLL bra bands always seem way too tight to me. I adore my active strength tank because it's adjustable

Lauren said...

Well I got my heathered white wandering yogi pants- TOTALLY sheer, don't even have to bend over to see my flesh. I have white/blurred blossom wunder Unders and those show colored underwear through the white parts but never flesh....these wandering yogis show it all. I'm going to call and complain. I feel like they should refund me both the pants & return shipping, I feel like it's a quality error they are this sheer. I know they will say I need to size up, but according to their size chart I am exactly a 4 and since I don't have a store nearby I have to go by that- so if an item needs to be sized up from their chart they need to note that.
They are really flattering (even in white-ish) and so soft and comfortable. I wish I could keep them but they are too see through even for lounging.
Obviously I'm a little angry >:-O
I also got the "hold me close" crop I ordered from WMTM last week. LOVE THEM! my boyfriend loves them also so that's always a plus... know if he loves it, it is a total win.

Anonymous said...

I also just got my Wandering Yogis in the white and they are totally sheer just like Lauren's. I dont even have to bend over to show flesh through them. That said, I am in love with the color and think they will look great under boots and sweater dresses so I'll keep them, just not for the intended purpose.

Also got my indigo WUs today -- they feel super thick to me. I would actually prefer something a little thinner but I plan to keep them.

Lastly I got 4 racing CRBs -- I am 5'8 but all leg and short waisted so these actually work for me.

Ordered both pairs of speed shorts today, so now if they would just upload some BRIGHT ta ta tamers I would be set for summer running!

Sourkraut said...

Got my Some Like It Hot tank and, sadly, it's a total disaster for me too. Not in terms of boobs popping out (guess I don't have enough for that!) but whoever said it's like a tube top had it right. When it slides down, as it invariably does because there's no support from the straps, it creates an ugly fat roll at the top of the bodice. Never had that happen before! It's also super duper sheer. While it might be nice to have light fabric for hot yoga I'm afraid the lilac is a little see-through because of that. It's going back.

Also got my Some Like It Hot bruised berry crops. I thought they were really cute until I made the mistake of asking my husband what he thinks. He said it made me look like I have ostrich legs!! He also said it looked like it moved some volume from my butt to my thighs. I personally don't see it but then I tend to see my lower body as much bigger than it actually is. So I'm on the fence about those. I so wanted a pair of colorful crops.

Anonymous said...

Did anyone see the cycling arm warmers on the accessories page? I didn't notice them earlier with the upload...black, seaside dot and ray....hmmm.

Anonymous said...

I am new to the Swiftly Tank - I hear to size down but before I order I wanted to get feedback - I wear 6 in the SS Swiftly (perfect fit) and a 4 in the CRB (that is a little tight but the 6 was so low in the front). I also wish I could see the Pop Orange on someone 'real'. I hate to order things online and return them...BTW STILL have not received my order from last week, we are going on over a week...soo frusterating!!!

Nicole @ Haute Running Mama said...

@ anon 3:45 I wear a 4 in the CRB and a 4 in the swiftly. My aquamarine swiftly fits a lot bigger than the newer colors (blush quartz, etc) so I think they may have fixed the previous armhole issues. When I bought my aquamarine they did not make a size 2. Interested in hearing other people's opinions on this as I know this tank fits each of us differently! I love the swiftly tanks for running. Perfect in the hot summer weather! GL!

Beth said...

@Anon 3:45--Be careful if you do size down with the Swiftly tanks. I wear a 6 in the CRBs and Swiftly tanks (probably could wear a 4 but I prefer to be a little more modest) and I sized down for a Swiftly tank (an ultraviolet one I bought in March, I think) and although the top looks great, the band at the bottom is tight where it hits my hips and rides up a lot when I'm running, which can be pretty annoying. If you don't mind sending back what you don't like, I'd suggest buying a 4 or a 6 and returning the size you don't want. Or try it on in a store.

Minda said...

I have one swiftly tank in ultraviolet. I have a mix of size 8 and size 10 CRB tanks depending on if I feel like looser or more figure fitting. I got the size 10 swiftly tank and its VERY loose fitting. It seemed to grow as I wore it too over a couple hours. I like tops with space - but this is a bit much.

I love the fabric and I have two swiftly short sleeved tops, black and menthol, -
the next swiftly tank I get- and I know I will eventually get one- I will size down for the 8.

sophia said...

i'm a 6 in everything (tops and bottoms, except bras - for some reason, i always need an 8 to avoid back fat). the 6 CRB is fitted but not sausage tight on me, and i have the 6 in swiftlys. i'd say they fit about the same, though the swiftly tank is a bit shorter and not as low cut. but i definitely wouldn't size down.

Ray said...

I wonder if lululemon named this cycling capsule with the patented presta valve in mind....will we also see stuff names schrader for cyclists?

Anonymous said...

Lauren- I like you thought about calling gec and telling them to pay for my return shipping on my ray wuc. They are so see through I couldn't wear them in class without letting everyone see what's underneath. I am in the correct size too and feel for something that horrible I shouldn't have to pay to send them back, this is their problem. Furthermore I'm upset they'd even send something like that to me in the first place.

Anonymous said...

Anyone know if the Wandering Yoga crop is reversible? I thought not but one color is heathered fossil/seaside dot white/fossil but the picture just shows the crop in all heathered fossil, I don't see any dots.

Pink Peony 4 said...

I am with you. I haven't gotten my order from last upload yet. I tried these at a store and I really like them. Like I said before the yoga classes are almost always dim I think I'll try to get away with it. I like that it's cotton since I have so many Luon. Too much for loungewear you're right. It's really soft though, isn't it? I bought 2 btw. Still waiting.

Pink Peony 4 said...

Really? Did not know that!

Got the BB Stride. It's really really gorgeous! I'm hoping for a CRB and another bra in the same color as well.... maybe next week!
I certainly feel for everyone that doesn't live close to a store as shipping stuff back would be a total drag and a lot of money! I live in Vancouver so it's wonderful to have access to as many stores as I do ... plus the Bby outlet and the Burlington outlet just across the border. I do a lot of online shopping (I love products and pricing that the USA offers!!) and very few stores offer free shipping, so at least LLL does that. It could be worse! But again, my sympathies for all you addicts that have no other options! I wish I could help! :)

Anonymous said...

Thank you all for your comments/reviews on the Swiftly Tanks! I really love this Blog. I think I will order the 4 and the 6 to be sure, maybe one color in 4 and the other in 6 so afraid of things being sold out before I get it a week or so later.....

Amy said...

Just got my WUCrops in indigo today! Finally arrived! They are darling and don't seem to be see through. My first pair ever of WUs!!!!! Yipppeeeee!!!!

Anonymous said...

I have four swiftlys. Pig pink, pigment blue, ultraviolet and porcelain. I am usually a size 4 in crb's and other tops but the swiftlys were a smidge too big. I read a reviewer say that they shrink in the drier. It does shrink slightly but enough to be an ideal fit on me. So now I wash on delicate cycle and dry (only takes a few minutes anyway) in regular heat. I wouldn't suggest doing it often but I may wear one, once a month and therefore launder once a month and it works for me. Hope that helps.

Wendy said...

Amy I wish I could say the same :( mine are totally see through on me. I wonder if sizing up would help.

@ anonymous 6:12 AM, I agree, It is very annoying when an item disappears out of your shopping bag! Once you have put them in your bag, there should at least be a minimum time to buy, especially if you're going to keep shopping/browsing. I had this happen to me with a pair of Run A Marathon crops last week on wmtm. I had just put them in my bag and was checking out (addr + billing of course already set up so it's just click, click) and no sooner do I start to check out then the status changes to say 'item out of stock'. If the item was truly out of stock I should not have been able to put them in my bag. That was the last pair in my size. Presumably someone beat me to them...but we should not have been able to grab the same last pair. Happy ending though as I got those exact crops (right size, same color version) on sale in store the next day.

As for shopping, nothing new run or yoga appeals to me. Not a cyclist so pass on those items.

On LLL not posting certain negative reviews. Interesting. I thought they posted everything and I usually say 'bravo' to that. They allow their customers to be so candid and it's awesome. I guess not every review makes it.

Speaking of reviews, those for the Align mat say it all! Seems terrible. And a decent mat should not have to be 'broken in'. It's pretty shameful that their basic mat is so bad! LOL someone says may as well buy 'the mat'. I think the Align is actually a gimmick to get you back in to pay more money for 'the mat' because the person has become SO focused on having a mat from LLL. "The Mat" reeks and I wish people would stop bringing it to class until the stench is totally gone. If the stench is not gone, don't bring it to class!

I will stick with Halfmoon mats.

Peace.

Has anyone seen the BB swiftly? I have one in Porcelaine that I haven't taken the tags off because the color isn't right for me...it's of course past the two weeks! Is the BB markedly more purple? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

The new triangle shaped crotch gusset works fine for me. A gusset can be triangular or rhomboidal. Think tights and panty hose. Both shapes are used in the crotch gusset. My new Indigo WUCs aren't see through either. I have a 36" hip at widest spot and I buy a 6. Occasionally an educator will recommend sizing down, but I've seen too tight WUCs at the gym and it's not pretty. Just because you can get the crops on doesn't mean they fit correctly.

Anonymous said...

The size chart has instructions on how to measure yourself accurately. Not defending the see-thru lighter colors like Ray. They'll always be troublesome in Luon.

Anonymous said...

i am no longer buying lulu WU....or any pair of pants unless the gusset is the diamond shaped. it gives me a weird crease up front (sad!!!)

so i thank goodness i got the porcelain WU when it came out.

Anonymous said...

Let them put diamond shaped gussets in pantyhose... Those aren't fully viable like they are in WUs!! I don't care if I have camel toe beneath my skirt just not in plain view during yoga or when casually dressed!

And pantyhose are cheap, lulu pants are not, so I expect better from them!

Anonymous said...

****+ I meant triangle gussets in pantyhose!

I totally agree sophia. I really like this skirt. I bought one last year with hesitation but it is one of my favorite lulu purchases. I nought the flash light and bb. I had a dark gray with flash waistband from last year. I use it for cardio, yoga and even cycling. I don't wear short skirts normally but I feel ok wearing this.

@ anon 7:57 I checked out the BB and Pop Orange Swiftly tonight in store. Both are awesome! The BB is more purply than porcelain. Online I could not tell but when you put the porcelain up to the BB you can see the difference. I ended up really liking the pop orange (looks like a creamsicle color) so went with that one.

HTH!

I have two that I ordered not received yet. I went to a store to try it. It's not reversible. The dots probably sold out? The stores did not have the dotted ones. It's quite confusing how these things come and go on the website sometimes.

Love my Wandering Yoga crops. Ordered my tts 4 and they are soft, comfortable, and not sheer. However, the indigo WUC are very sheer are going back! I am in the market for a new yoga mat. Regular flow classes-not hot. Any suggestions?

Anonymous said...

I bought the deep indigo wunder under crops and mine aren't see through at all. I love them! And I also love the hot n sweaty skirt - so comfortable and lightweight for hot yoga, no muffin top, absolutely fabulous. It is a bit short, but no shorter than boogie shorts. Actually, feel that the skirt gives more coverage as it doesn't "hug" your leg but more "floats" over them, if that makes sense.

Just wanted to remark that my int'l orders placed the same day of the upload, 90% of the time arrive in Switzerland a day before the next online upload. At the latest the same day of the newest upload. And I thought that was a lot of time, since other US retailers shipping through DHL, get my orders here within three to four days. But again, I do have to pay LLL $30 flat rate for int'l shipping, plus another $23 to Fedex in Switzerland for each delivered parcel (and this is before adding up Customs import taxes)

But I guess for $53 a box, Fedex better deliver the orders before the next upload!

I just got my indigo wu and even sized down and they are not see through, however they are my thinnest wu's and they are mad differently. Crouch had triangle shape instead of diamond shape but still fit good. I love that the material is thinner. Ill wear these more in the summer.i really want the new pale orarage color what is ut pop cycle? In a wu!!

I can't do the new triangular gussett either. I returned the power purple and deep indigo wunder unders because of it.

It's amazing how people noticed the gusset! I tried in the WUC and thought they don't look as good as people rave! But it was the " not yet camel toe" it wanted to be camel toe but it wasn't ( yet) the pants fit loose almost as if they were going to fall..... The material did feel thinner which I guess I'd appreciate in warm weather. If you are going to thin out the material then you better charge less!

Thanks for saving me the cash!!!!
I will yet again await the next upload!

It's taking a week for my orders to arrive in Florida. Too slow. I wish there was a reasonable shipping option.
I like the indigo WUC's. They don't feel thinner or thicker than my other WU's. They are not see through. I'm wear a 6 in most lulu pants.
The gusset was ok for me, but I do prefer the other design - its kinda like a mark of better tailoring and isn't that Lululemon's trademark kinda?
I'm glad I have two pairs of WU's stashed away with tags in from last year.

Minda! I have The Mat and love it! It's kinda heavy to lug around to the gym... But I just figure I am burning a few extra calories! It's great. I all suggest getting a big mat sized towel to put over the mat. I really like mine. No sliding around and it catches all the sweat!

@Minda
My husband spoiled me with the Manduka Black Mat Pro, (http://www.manduka.com/us/shop/categories/products/mats/black-mat-pro/) for my first mat ever, about 10 years ago when I started yoga. My studio/teacher was owned by the Manduka CEO, so all the studio mats are this Manduka black mat. When I got home from my very first class, I have a Manduka mat of my own waiting for me, as a gift from my husband! (The lulu gears started soon after! Heehee!) For travel, I have the Manduka eKO Lite mat. However, most of my practise (shadow yoga-see shadowyoga.com, if you are curious...) are done without a mat, nowadays. But I still use my black mat for floor work. Love the cushion for my ankles and back. Hope this helps! ;)

Anonymous said...

The currant color looks gorgeous.. If the photos on the side can be trusted. :-)

Anonymous said...

I've used many mats. The lulu mats were horrible (no grip and always sliding) and the halfmoon mats were pretty good for when I would practice a few times a week but since practicing daily, I have to say jade and manduka mats are the best. I used a jade for 2 yrs but switched to manduka since jade is a natural rubber and would disintegrate and get into my lulu pants. The manduka is a bit heavier though (I have the light version) but I find it holds up better from use. For me, both mats need to be broken in as there's this layer of "film" when you first get them. Once the film wears off both have great traction.

I noticed the Currant Scuba too! Snagged one for me, yahoo!! I have a couple currant items, Define and CRB, and I don't recall any bleeding/fading at all. Of course I'm not sure that the cotton fleece of Scubas will not fade. The darker colors (black and such) made of cotton fleece, do fade over time. Any input from currant Scuba mommies?

Anonymous said...

I have the Currant Scuba, Define, CRB and Deep V tank (can you tell I like the color? :P). No bleeding or fading issues thus far in the tanks. The color is lovely IRL, deep saturated red, even in the cotton fleece. Would highly recommend the Scuba.

I will just wear it to the freezer section at the grocery store or cold movie theaters until we have a cold snap next year HAHAHA.

Minda, just buy a regular mat for @20 from anywhere before investing in a more expensive mat. Regular mats work just fine. As for The Mat, read the reviews on Lulu's site. It takes forever, if ever, to lose the smell. It is said to be best for people who sweat a lot as it actually makes it better. Those who don't sweat so much, maybe not as good a grip. As for "breaking in", should not have to happen, not even with an economical mat. Most mats come with a film on them, which you should be able to wipe down. I'm currently using a regular $30 mat from I don't know who. It did not smell, it needed no breaking in (have never had to with any mat), it's holding up very well.
As for Halfmoon. They have all price levels of mats, from economical to more expensive and they are great.

Good luck.

Just went by my local store to check out the Presta line. The chamois in the shorts is pretty thin- just a little thicker than most tri shorts. Definitely too thin for longer rides or anything off-road. I wish they had put a shelf bra is the Velo Vixen sleeveless jersey. The Shirket seems nice- I would wear it running or riding, but I'm going to wait to see if it goes on MD.

On a different topic- my store never got the Sun Runner SS. I'd like to try it on, but I'm afraid I'll hate it, so I don't really want to go through the hassle of ordering it. I'm on the east coast- does this kind of thing happen often? My store also never got swiftly headbands in Ray- which I was really hoping for!

Anonymous said...

on the east coast as well. each store tends to have their own unique stock of items....they do it based on what they think the consumers in the area prefer.

i remember many times when i wanted to try something on in person, my 2 nearest stores didn't have it. i bugged the educators ab this and they told me that they may never receive certain items and they have no idea what are in the boxes.

hence why.....when i know i want something....like really really want something. i will buy it from their site....and if i hate it, i will just go to the store and return.

Anyone try on the Run:Nothing to Hide Crop? Wondering how high the waistband is when not folded over, and when it is folded over, how thick the doubling up of the waistband feels. Thanks.

Kristin said...

FYI, for all the new currant scuba owners....you will love love love it! I got one last year and I adore it. NO bleeding issues. I didn't have any fading issues either. But I hardly wore mine (bc I live in FL and we had a VERY hot winter). When I did wash it, I never dried it to help prevent fading. Just air dried it. But you will love it. I also have a currant scope neck tank and no bleeding issues or fading w/ that either.

Just received my indigo WU; yep, mine are see-thru. Butt-crack and all for the world to see. Those are going back. And they feel different than my other WU. Not better or worse, just different. The color is beautiful though. Bummer. Also got the bruised berry groove shorts; I love em. The color is great too.

2 Scuba with detachable sleeves.
3 DSJ
2 SFT
2 Live Simply
5 Define
1 RUN:Travel to Track
1 Apres Run Jacket
1 RUN:Take Flight Jacket

At least I think that's all. :P But I know that there are you guys who has a more impressive collection than little 'ol me. :)

I tried the bike shorts on yesterday in both the black and bb. I tried my regular size, and they were a MESS! The rise was way too low on me, and I cannot even begin to explain how bad the camel toe was. I sized up which helped the ct issue some, but then they were way too loose. I'm really bummed because while the chamois is really thin and wouldn't be helpful for long rides, there was enough there that they would have been great on shorter rides.

I also returned my indigo and pp wunder unders this week. They were so thin to the point of sheer (I'd even sized up in 1 because they were sold out of my normal size) and the new gusset has completely changed the fit for me. I did purchase the bb polocrosse but haven't worn them yet. I'll check them out tonight but I'm thinking another return is in my future. So many lulu fails lately. Bums me out.

Wondering if anyone has the Flash Light Stride? I have it and LOVE it, but the tags are still on. I'm terrified to wear it because of all of the bleeding issues. I still have a couple days to return it, just curious if anyone has any fb on it.

Anonymous said...

I'm in the same boat with my FL Define. Dying to wear this beauty but wondering if it will bleed?

Anyone pick of a BB stride yet? I just order my first stride in that color. I'm super excited for it. How do you like yours? On a side note: I love my indigo WU. wore today for the first time, they are really comfy! I had no problem with sheerness. They are a keeper!

Minda- RE: The Mat. I own it. I love it. Yes, it does smell but that is because of the rubber they use. The smell of mine faded quickly, but now it as platued and I can still smell it when I put my face near it. It grips very well. It does stain (as reviews noted), but I have a rose quartz colored mat, so I expected staining, plus I like it because it shows my work and dedication AND it makes my mat uniquely mine!

Honestly though, I'd say for a beginner a Gaiam mat from Target is fine. I used mine for 2 years. Yes, it is a little more slippery than a more expensive mat, but until you know you are fully committed and "need" a $70+ mat, it is probably good to stick with a basic.

I've heard good things about Jade and Manduka, but have not tried either myself. All these expensive mats have different features, are different sizes, materials, ect. I would suggest starting with a basic mat Gaiam from Target (or similar) and as you progress in your practice you will learn what you like and dislike in your mat and what you want in your next (more expensive) mat. You can also talk to teachers and other students about what they like/dislike about their mats.

Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up on the current scuba! (I think...lol!) I am usually a 6 in scubas, but went up to an 8 because the 6's were gone...I love a rich red, and reading here that it is beautiful pushed me over :) I now have three scubas- an LOL one and a special edition one that's black/river rock- which I love. I actually don't wear them all that much ever since getting my gratitude wrap, which I live in when its colder. I usually don't like the way 8's in scubas fit me- they are big in the shoulder and I get extra fabric bunching up. Hopefully this one will work.

Oh, lulu, I just can't seem to quit you. Just when I think we're over....

I use the Manduka travel mat and I love it. The regular one is too heavy for m to carry to yoga (which I walk a bit to get to)

Anonymous said...

Well i figure i'll chime in on the indigo WU crops since everyone else is lol I received mine via fed ex today and must say that I love them. There is zero sheerness when i'm just hanging out in them. but then i did the bend over test and they were sheer but i can get past that. If i'm bent over during yoga class that prob means everyone else is so they are not going to see haha I practice hot yoga so i can really appreciate the thinness of them...lightweight for the summer. As far as the triangle gusset goes, I had no problem what so ever. No camel toe! But every body is different, just happens to work for me.

I also got my ray CRB and seaside dot CRB and love them! The ray is BRIGHT but in a good way. And actually the ray looked super cute with the indigo WUs...weird right? lol So I will be where that to yoga tomorrow. Also, I had no idea that the seaside dot CRB reversed to ray stitching!! i was so excited about it until I realized it reverses to plain white but can still see the dots from the other side. So it is kind of awkward and will probably never wear it that way even though I was sooo excited when i first say that ray stitching.

I am very pleased with my order from last week and will be keeping everything! :)

Haven't seen the Swiftly and Scuba uploads on the Canadian side. Too bad. For the Canadians in this group I recommend the MEC Randonneur cycling shorts for $69 (Mountain Equipment Co-op). Good padding and reasonable inseam length at 7.5 inches. Rise is high enough so no muffin top.

@ Sourkrat 10:39 pm - I highly dislike reviewers who comment based on try-on alone with the exception of noting a fit problem such as tight sleeves, armholes, side boob. I much prefer those who have worn the garment. I never leave reviews unless I've bought the item and worn it so I can comment knowledgeably.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 1:50 pm- I'm reading the latest batches of WUs are awfully see-through so it's looks like lulu has used a batch of "bad" luon to make these. I'd recommend trying another color to see if it's any better. I went through a 2 year span of not buying Groove pants because they made of thin, scratchy "bad" luon.

I like dressing room reviews as well as usage reviews. With the dressing room, if the fit is bad (including CT), then they're not going to buy it and go use it to give a usage review. So the fitting room review is very helpful to me in that respect.

But yeah, there are a lot of other issues that can pop up after one takes an item home and uses it for a while. Things that seemed great are suddenly not so, or vice versa.

The Align mat gets slippery if your hands get sweaty. I bought one last year and used it a few times after washing it but my hands still slipped. I even did had to grab the sides of my mat after I got into urdva dhanurasana to keep my hands from slipping. I gave it away last month. Get the mat or the Unmat. No slipping issues for me on both and I purchased both soon after the align mat. I have been using the mat for one year and I practice 4 to 6 times a week using the mat and it still grips. I sweat a lot and I use a regular towel to wipe my sweat and never needed a towel to cover my mat!
I like the mat so much that I gave one each to my sister and her husband. The only downside to the mat is that it is heavy.
