Velo Vixen Short and More Cycling Line Photos

The shorter bike shorts we've spotted in other photos. These are called Velo Vixen. I'm not sure about the inseam but I'd guess 6".

The Velo Vixen shorts under the Presta Skirt. Not loving this look, particularly.

Velo Vixen sleeveless jersey in the lilac High Noon Dot print.

my hump my hump my hump! in the back and in the front!
Oooh water storage real live camel backs! I'd be into a short sleeve cycling jersey if it were pink! Though I would probably not stuff the back pockets with anything.

Is this whats coming out tonight?
*mourn* neonpow Wucrop.

I dont think this is a good look at all. I hope it's functional. I know if I were a cyclist I'd look pretty bad after minimal exertion. I will not be wearing anything that will attract attention. I have never seen cyclists wear this kind of gear where I live. The skirt is a bit much it seems. Will that not get caught in bicycle parts? Ok I'll be quiet now. I need enlightenment I guess.

Hey fellow addicts!

I just wanted your advised re: coloured WU crops. For those of your who have bought bright bottoms in the past, do you find you wear them as much as the standard black or gray, or after a season you just tuck them away?? I'm on the fence about returning my power purple ones as I'm not sure I'll get enough wear out of them? What do you think?

@mandy

Do you have several good pairs of black crops/pants/shorts? - by far they are the most useful. Having said that I wear colored bottoms about 1/3 - 1/4 of the time to mix it up and they are a lot of fun! I have never tucked any away I just add more :D

OMG.. I'm a cyclist and I'm not sure I'd be wearing that skirt over the padded shorts. The whole pattern is kinda annoying. I like to look cool and stylish not in polka dots when I'm cycling. Those back pockets on the shorts is interesting. We keep our bottles on cages on our bike. The bottle that is in her pocket wouldn't keep you hydrated more than 30 minutes. Now on occasions there are fun rides where people dress up SILLY then that skirt would do the job.

@ Pink Peony - I usually see female cyclists in team jerseys but I've seen a couple in something like Velo and Presta jsereys - though not in a dot print.

I thought the back pockets were for GUs and things like that. I had a cage for my water bottle, too. It's been so long since I've cycled I'm forgetting where I used to keep my snacks. I think I used the bag under my saddle.

I thought the same thing about her lashes :)

That cycling gear is horrid. Granted I'm a roadie and when cycling probably look a little crazy myself, but geez. Fail Lululemon

I don't understand all the white in the cycling gear, especially in the tops and the skirt. When I ride after a rainy day I don't want to have to worry about mud splashing up the back of my white cycling clothes and staining them. And it's ridiculous to think I would buy clothing this expensive just to save them for dry days on the road rather than the trails.

I don't care personally for the dot print but I think the tops would be just as good as Sugoi or Hammer tops. The pockets are perfect and I did order the BLACK Vixen shorts, I love the mesh pockets, blocks, fig newtons, chapstick I could think of plenty to fill it with. Especially on a long ride. I doubt any bikers would even try to put a bottle in it.. that always goes on the bike! I guess two-eaches-own. I just hope the chamios is good.

OMG I have hated everything lululemon has put out for the past 4 months. Quick with the polka dots!!!! REALLY!?

i have to say, i'm a little disappointed with lululemon's attempt at cycling wear... kind of like the swim, i don't think it was carefully thought through and it's neither sexy (polka dots are not exactly the most get your pulse quickening pattern) not entirely functional. the pockets in the back are simply uncomfortable when you actually use them. in new york, there is a cycling team called "lipstick" something, they have great outfits. some sheer panels in the right spots that are oh so sexy and the fit and padding gives you less of the bubble butt and a more sexier look on (and especially off the bike). sometimes the thigh is too tight and you get the muffin top on the legs (haha) especially when you ride and the leg naturally rides up.
