Will Pants and Clam Digger Crops Are Back

Will Pants are back. Shown with the White Scoop Me Up Tank.

I reported this earlier but now we're starting to see more photos of them - Astro crops are also back.

This isn't a current photo but Clam Digger crops are back in five colors. As soon as I find out more I will post.

I was just asking someone last week if they've seen Clam Diggers make an appearance yet. Thanks for the heads up! Yay!

I've never had will pants or clam diggers. What are some opinions on them. I live my wunder unders and inspire crops. My husband loves me in the tadasana pants. Are the will or clams like any of them? Oh, like my gather and crow crops and ebb and flows as well.

Those look like Will crops!

Oooh that's great news, I really love my Clam Diggers! I like the Astro Crops a lot too, but the Clam Diggers are my favourite casual lulu crop. I love the low-rise waist, the loose cut legs and where they fall on the leg. Insanely comfortable and so cute!

Anon 10:00am, Clam Diggers aren't really like any of the other crops you mention- those are all very fitted tights. There are more loose. I don't wear them running as I'm afraid they would slide down and require a lot of adjusting since there's no inner draw cord. I also wonder if the ribbed material at the waist would chafe.. They'd probably be good for yoga as they're loose and comfortable. They make your butt look great!

Are these Will Pants different from the ones currently on the lll site?

I'm personally not a fan of knee length crops- I think they look weird on me and I need longer crops to provide grip during crow pose! Even groove crops ride up on me during my hot vinyasa classes during inversion or balancing poses. I prefer Wunder Unders. Although all the new ones are see through and have that weird new gusset which makes me sad :( I will have to stick to buying Run: Inspire crops.

The question is, what is the top that was worn with the Clam Digger? Love the orange-ish color!

I have the will pants and really like them. Wore them in winter for everything from XC skiing to running. Too hot for now, but I love the adjustable rise.

Those will pants are going to be CT city on many of us if they have the triangle gusset....

As for the technology, as a single person who runs in an urban area- I definitely feel more comfortable having a phone on me in case of emergency.

The Will Pants are back? But they have never been gone since the last release, in the first place! ;-)

Anyone know if you size down in clam diggers or TTS? What about the astro crops? SO excited for shorter crops!

Yay! I love my clam diggers and want more! This makes me happy!!

Anon 12:05 - Mine are TTS and are fine, but you probably could size down on them. At least last years version...

What is a gusset?

Hi Anon 5:27pm
A gusset is a piece of material sewn into a garment to strengthen or enlarge a part of it, such as the collar of a shirt or the crotch if pants.

There are different shapes that have been used to create a more flattering frontal look with the tightness of leggings.

Many companies use a triangle shaped gusset which seems to create and unflattering fold in the front on many people. Lulu's old shape of diamond or oval shaped gussets kept everything flat and smooth - it has been noticed that they have changed over to a trianglular shape- many are upset with this change

It sounded to me from Lulu's response regarding the gusset that they have no intention of changing back from the new/old camel-toe gusset. So I'm going to have to get my pants elsewhere. Glad I stocked up before the change.

There's an Athleta store opening near me this week. Can't wait to see their stuff in person. I don't have anything by Athleta.

I have a skort by Athleta and adore it. Also, when something went wrong with the lining, I sent it back and they shipped out a new one stat. And that was weeks after I'd bought it. Terrific customer service.

I dropped by my local lulu store today and found a pair of oval-gusset plain old black WU crops today. I snatched those babies up. Who knows if I'll be able to ever get another pair? I don't even wear WUs this time of year, but I didn't want to miss out.

I bought some Fast and Free crops today, and it was my first pair of crops with the new triangle gusset. I actually liked the triangle gusset better than the old style. Strange!

I love Athleta! I buy my bathing suits there & have several casual skirts. Love, love, love them!

In Lulu news, I tried my first WUCs on this weekend. I've been buying LLL for a year or so & heard once that they created muffin top, so I stayed away. Since I actually got to go to a big store (Vegas), I tried on all kinds of stuff! I loved the dark gray/black ones, but the flash showed every flaw & dimple! They both stayed there. I also liked the Scoop Me Up, but I need a bra under tanks with a shelf & it just looked weird, so it stayed there too.

I really wanted the cycling shirket & even took a second cab ride to the store to try it, but it accentuated the negatives on me. I may have liked it better if I sized up, but my husband hated it on me, so I let it be. The other item that stayed at the store was the running jumper. It was almost cute, but both the skirt & the top part needed to be a little longer.

I did get the Run: nothing to hide crops. They were really flattering, which actually surprised me as I usually dislike things with a fold-over waist. I was also pleasantly surprised by the racing length CRB. I was really unsure about it, as I'm a curvier gal, but sometimes the regular CRBs get too long & less flattering as I workout. I ended up returning my ray CRB & getting ray & pow pink in the racing length.

I also came home with the Sun Sprinter SS in flash (loved the fit on this, roomy for me & I'm a 10), the Swiftly tank in ray, the dash & dart shorts (tried some shorty shorts, but they were a little short & not on MD) and the Good Fortune bag in ray. the shocker of the trip was the Some Like It Hot tank. They had 1 in the store & it happened to be a 10. I thought there was no way it would work with my big tatas, but it was surprisingly flattering & my husband loved it on me! I'm not planning on working out in it, but it looked so good, I had to get it!

Sorry for the novel, but I had to share!!

To Jamie Barba 8:44 I really enjoy reading your "novel"! Please keep on sharing!!
It's refreshing to read comments like yours, that provide insights into the fit of some of the lulu items, even if we wear very different sizes. Also refreshing because you can express what items didn't work for you, without using negative works or trashing the brand. Saying an item is "fugly" has never been an useful source of feedback to anyone, let alone to lululemon. Kudos to you!
