Dash Tights, Trinity Bra, Headbands, and More

Still in Australia - Indigo/Mirage Dash Tights and the back pocket detail.

The Trinity Bra is coming in Pop Orange. Also, white, black, Pow, and Blazer Fossil print. I wish they'd make the Ta Ta Tamer in Pow and Pop Orange.

The bow Pretty Pirouette headbands look cute on these ladies. Also, a peek at the inside of the Mirage Good Fortune bag.

Pow Dart and Dash shorts are coming.

 Cute Pow/Mirage Astro pants.

So tempted to get yet another Swiftly headband in Pow. Shown with the Venus tank.

Photo of the Flash and Pow No Limit Tanks side by side. (Thanks to Michelle for the photo.)

PS - I put this in a comment to a previous post but rumor is lulu is going back to the diamond gusset on their bottoms.

Thank you for the NLT color comparison between Flash and PP!! I have it in Flash and was debating whether I should also get it in PP. I won't. Not only because the two colours are close in that they ate so bright, but also because I'm positive that PP NLT is a bleeder.

I hope the US gets white run swiftly tops. I really want a white SS!

@ anon 11:18 pm - I wore my new Pow NLT to the gym yesterday. I only did a weight workout so didn't get super sweaty but I rubbed my white towel on my wet armpit area and no color came off. I didn't get a purple ring there, either, so I'm thinking the tank might be ok.

I'm so excited to order the Pow (and caspian) NLT! I suspect many of us will be waiting for the upload ;)

Anon 11:29 the white Swiftly's ls and ss already came out a couple of months ago. I know because I got both of them, and both of them got yellow stains on the pit area after just one sweaty run, and I have been using for many years paraben, propylene glycol, and aluminum free deodorants. Same thing with my pig pink ls Swiftly.

OT….Decided to hit the Nordstrom Sale online this morning. 2 pairs of WU like crops and a LS pullover hoody in a swiftlike material, both made by Zella….all for under $96 tax and delivery included! With their quality and return policy, I may be switching.

I will be sad if they go back to the oval gusset. Was I the only one who liked the triangle gusset?

OVAL GUSSET!!! WHEN WHEN??? That will be a great step in the right direction for LLL to get some customers back again :)
Im dying for some shorts and more WU but Im holding myself back bc of that stupid triangle. Half the time its in the wrong place; all the way up on my butt for everyone to see.

macfrannie said...

I think the triangle can work if it is placed correctly. The issue may have been the placement rather than the shape. I have other triangle gusseted items from other makers that don't cause the same problems I've experienced with the LLL gusset. Either way, I'm encouraged to hear they may be making some course corrections.

I am hopeful LLL can get back on track but I must admit I'm not optimistic.

LLA (or anybody) - do you think the swiftly headbands are better than the no slip headbands? I have about 5 no slips, but would like to try the swiftly. I had just been going with what was working.

macfrannie said...

I have both headbands and I like them both. the swiftly HB doesn't seem as tight and does stay put, relatively. I've been trying those Sweaty Bands or BIC bands and they stay in place better than the no-slip or the swiftly. I think HB choice is very personal and dependent on head shape though so it is hard to equate my experience with someone else. My HBs always seem to slip up in the back rather than the front becuase the back of my head is more flatish.

The more I see those tights the more I hate them. That girl is super skinny and those tights still manage to make her thighs look huge! I don't need any help from my clothing in that department, so I'll hold out for some tights that are actually flattering!

Yay for the return of the oval/diamond gusset!

I am loving a lot of the items that are coming out right now. Here is to hoping for good quality items because I am really wanting a couple of new items.

Anyone know much about the hot n sweaty shorts? How breathable? Are they "super duper show your ass off" shorts? Or "short but no one is getting a show" shorts?

Anon 4:36, you aren't the only one lamenting the return of the oval gusset!

The triangle works much better for me, as the oval is always visible and it just folds in half and exacerbates the problem.

@ Anon 4:36 & Jax+Puzzle, I'm also with you guys on this. I find the triangle one doesn't give me CT at all! I guess everyone's body is different.

So, NLTs - are they in some stores yet, or...? I'm anxious to get my hands on one!

Anonymous said...

My local lulu has it since Wednesday but my size was one left......

I get CT with triangle gussest on the diversity WU but not with my white denim or my regular indigo WU. So for me depends on the fabrique.

Yes.

Hmmmm, note the muffin top on the model in the pow/black dart and dash shorts. Waistbands do seem to be getting lower and stitching tighter across the very top - I first noticed with my run: a marathon crops (so disappointing because I love them otherwise) and now we are seeing muffin top all over the models on the website. Never a good sign of its on the models!

@anon 3:29 re: white swiftlies
Thanks for sharing the info! I was wondering how that color was holding up with workouts {{bummer}} they looked so pretty in the pics.

if anyone orders the new currant long sleeve swiftly and receives it in the next few days, I would love to hear about it. I am very tempted but I also don't want to receive a faded, poor quality swiftly like some of your who ordered the recent currant scuba.

Anonymous said...

I also like the triangle gusset. @ Anon 7:11 I agree that the oval folds in half and makes it look like CT. At least that was the case with the crops I tried for the past few years. I was so excited when the Run: Stay on Course crops came out with the triangle.

I guess I'll take what I can get now unless the new oval is different.

I just emailed LLA pix of my faded/metal currant scuba so maybe she can share on here for those who are curious.:-) vanessa

just got my currant scuba and very sad :( faded and not the currant I was hoping for! will be returning, sadly. I have a red hoodie from gap that was 24.99 and is more vibrant! also been hitting up the Nord sale and really loving my new zella crops in the "melange" pattern which is looks alot like the lulu denim but a really smooth nice feel to it. their "swiftlys" are ultra soft too.

I don't mind the shape of the gusset....just please place it under my lady parts. I have both triangular and oval/diamond shaped. Honestly, I prefer the triangular. But both work for me as long as they are sewn in the correct location! I get my space dye WU today and I HOPE that the gusset is in its right place!!! Fingers crossed.

I just wanted to say that I truly appreciate ALL and ANY feedback that you lovely ladies, and LLA, leave on this blog. I don't live near a store and can only order online. So, I really read/listen to all the feedback that my fellow addicts leave on this blog. So, thank you for taking the time to share your experiences!!

I did not order the Currant Scuba but saw a return of one in the store a couple weeks ago. I thought it looked faded at the time and wondered what all the hype was about. Glad to know now it wasn't just me!

I am glad to hear feedback on all items, positive or negative! I am already very picky with my Lulu clothes and I really appreciate hearing other people's opinions on items. Sometimes other people may notice something I don't, then I can be sure I consider the feedback and decide if it's a dealbreaker for me.

IMO not really. I still prefer the slipless. The swiftly material seems softer and tends to stretch with sweat I feel. It's cute but does not stay on as good as the other. Hope this helps.

Anonymous said...

I need to try a slipless headband, then. I only have a Swiftly one. It's pretty good but it does occasionally slip.

My store still does not have ANY Pow Pink jackets. I keep wanting to drop in and inspect the seams for myself, but I guess the store's not going to get any. It never got any Bruised Berry jackets either.

I too prefer the triangle gusset. The diamond never fails to give me CT, whereas the triangle doesn't. I think the diamond would work if it was sewn further forward, but then you would see the front point and it would look weird (oh hi, upward arrow pointing at my crotch!). I think the triangle design has more potential to not give CT and not look weird in the front with a straight-across seam that starts just a little behind where the crotch of the pants go "horizontal."

I like the regular pirouette headband, but the bow is not for me. I'm over 40, way too old for a bow in my hair. It must have been designed for "Ocean".

If it were smaller it would look cute on my toddler though.
