Ebb and Flow Crops Are Restocked and More Photos of the Latest

Mirage Print Diversity Tank, Gray Ebb and Flow Crops, Do It All Dress as a shrug
Not many new things being featured in the store photos today - mostly the leotard and the Cover It All Dress. However, it looks like the stores have gotten a restock of Ebb and Flow crops in Black, Deep Indigo, and Dark Classic Sport Gray.

A photo of the Pow Pink My Mantra LS from Australia. This is so tempting but the $68 price tag deters me. Maybe it will show up in tonight's upload.

Mirage Print Extra Long Cool Racerback, Pow Wunder Unders, and the Pow Lucky Luon headband. Someone asked me in the comments of my last store trip report about whether the CRB was a luxtreme or polyester CRB. I have to say I didn't notice on the tag. I don't believe it was luxtreme but the high poly kind. I'll have to check the next time I go to the store or if someone else can comment in and let us know that would be great.

More Wanderful Flare pant photos. I think I tried on the big flare pants the last time they came out and they were super long on me. I'd have to cut into a lot of the flare when I had to hem them. I think they are fun but not for me. I tend to trip on big flares like this.

I hate the white logo on the side of the pants. I wish they would go more low profile with the black raised logo. I'm not really buying pants anymore that are like this.

yuck! i hate flared pants - even on the thinnest of frames, i don't ever think they are flattering. and anyone who has any thighs (whether muscular or not), the large flares makes them look short and stocky. i don't even like groove pants - though i can tolerate them on other people. but these wanderfuls are anything but!

The Mirage XL CRB is a (mainly) poly blend: 94% Polyester, 6% Spandex. Mine is packed for return, for many of the reasons we've seen in comments already - the print gets bunched up at the bottom and I don't like the sheerness of the white top portion. I also just don't care for the mostly poly blend, not scratchy per se, but just not comfy either. Too bad, because I do like the colors in the print.

Hoping for speed shorts tonight!

The closest store to me is 90 miles (Atlanta,GA) so I do not make it there often, which stinks because I can get the R&D discount. Anyhoo, I'm visiting a niece in Birmingham, AL so I went to the store here yesterday. A little disappointing because they seem to be a few weeks behind the online uploads with their stock. Several items online they have never received, ie ray speeds, silver speeds, bruised berry anything, no Studio pants or crops of any color, etc. I also noticed they still have their Run a Marathon crops full price! Odd since they have already made it to WMTM and IMO, Internet is the last place for markdowns!

However, they did have the new Scoop Me Up Tank. I had already convinced myself that I would never like it because I am a Scoop Neck lover so I never had any intention of trying it. BUT I did and i'm in love!!! So surprised how well it fits and feels. I bought the black and the Pow Pink! Would also buy in a bruised berry if available. So, I have eaten crow!

I have a pair of Ray speeds but cannot decide if I should keep them for fear of bleeding issues. I have never (knock on wood) had bleeding issues and I own lots of Flash and other potential bleeders.

(sorry for the dissertation)

I also tried on the Diversity tank in black. It was buttery soft and I love the back BUT I cannot justify spending $52 when it's only worth $30, maybe. It is not in the same league as the Power Y so shoulder be priced as such. I didn't check the other colors but I hear they are very sheer.

As far as tonight's upload, I'm dying for the BB crb, Pow crb and ss swiftly, Pow my mantra.......what else?

Anonymous said...

I have the Ray speeds and prewashed them with a color catcher and they bled like crazy.

Is there a chance that the BB CRB might never be uploaded online? That will break my heart. I've been waiting so patiently for it. Is this something that Lulu does once in a while?

mmmm.. I love that cover it all dress I sure hope that it gets uploaded online!!! Is it currently sold only in canada?

My store's product notification email says there will be a deep indigo In Stride. Also, what do you ladies think of the Ebb and Flow crops? I brought all three colors because I heard rave reviews. Are they sheer? Comfy? Etc. thanks!

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 4:14, oh no the Ebb & Flow debate. You bought them but hope you can take them back if they don't work for you. I recommend you read all the reviews online as the reviews are very divided. I have 2 pairs in my tts, the grey and the indigo from the recent online only release. I haven't owned them before from a prior release so it was a 'risk' for me. On me they are slightly sheer when you do the bend test. I wear nude underwear, modern and no vpl, and that works for both pairs. This will sound dumb but ensure the material is not too stretched out as this will make them less sheer. They loosen up with sweating in hot yoga. I like that you can wear them up for medium rise or fold down for a lower rise. They are the most comfortable lulu crop I've owned!

The Ebb and Flows didn't work for me, sadly. Found them to be gratuitously sheer during their first run in my normal WU size and when I sized up. Attempted again on their second run with same results. Could be due to my body type/composition as they've worked well for others. Would have loved a pair as they were comfy, but there was no way I could justify paying $80 and risk flashing fellow weight room/gym goers while doing squats, deadlifts, lunges, etc.

@Minda
LOL! on the go go gadget bit. I've been wanting to comment on that Wanderful Flare leg, but you beat me to it! Heehee!

Pow and Pop is my mantra for tonight, with a little BB for good measure. :P

BTW, love your new picture, but I liked the "don't mess with me" look of your previous one too!

Anonymous said...

I love love my Ebb & Flow crops but I agree with Anon4:41 that reviews are divided for these. Some find them pretty sheer while some do not. It's not a debate though that they are the comfiest pair.

As for me, I don't find them sheer at all but I always wear nude no-VPL panties anyway so it helps. The adjustable waistband is great too. I personally find the fabric the best feature for these crops - silky soft, breathable and wicks well.

Long story short, best if you try it out for yourself and have an option for returns. It really differs on everyone but I hope it works for you!

Anonymous said...

Agreed, if they don't work for you do not keep them. People have been saying this 'have to be the right body type' for the E&F. This is insane to me! Lulu should have properly tested these for yoga to ensure they work for all sizes! They sell the crop in a range of sizes and they were 'designed for yoga' so obviously bending is going to happen a lot.

Anonymous said...

Thanks ladies! I tried them on in store but didn't have time to do the bend test (was with boyfriend, you all know how that is). But I didn't find them sheer at all. I'm 5'4, 105lbs, not working with much lol so hopefully there won't be a problem. I love them!

Anonymous said...

I also am 5'4", 105 lbs, have size 2 and 4 Ebb & Flows. Love them. I'm a big fan. They aren't perfect, but you can't find crops that are more comfortable. Question -- has anyone had any issues with the waist stretching out with wear? I thought after washing the waist would get back to shape but it has stayed a bit stretched out (and I wear them up and not folded over). Thanks.

Anonymous said...

@Anon 5:41 - I also always wear my E&F up and not folded down. The only time they stretched out a bit was when I wore them all day long. Shape went back though after washing.

Anonymous said...

@Anon 5:41 can you tell a difference between the 2 and 4? I buy 4 in everything and stayed tts with the E&F.

Anonymous said...

Hi it's Anon 4:41 again. Org Anon/ 5:27, this is the thing about the E&F, doesn't seem to matter what size one is, even petites have had issues from the reviews I have read. Make sure you're totally happy/try at home before you take tags off. I'm a TTS 4 in these and all LL bottoms and again E&F sheerness is not a huge issue for me. My thing was more about the vpl (showing up on these but doesn't on my other lulu crops and pants) so the nude seamless help me remain decent with no vpl. I don't want to be self conscious/distracted. fyi I would not wear a thong with these.

Anon 5:41 - weird and boo if it's a quality issue! I haven't had any waistband problems with mine yet. Have had them since May. I wear waistband up or down, prefer down. I wash in cold water, inside out, hang to dry.

Just received my order from last weeks upload if anyones interested in a quick review?
XL Cool racerbacks in silver and lilac... love the silver one but not sure about the lilac color. Don't mind that they're thin luxtreme but I do wish they were soft like the dark grey one and not so swimsuity/plastic feeling.
Pop orange long sleeved swiftly is absolutely gorgeous... definitely my fav yet. Its just such a fab color in swiftly fabric! Love <3
Bruised Berry gather & crow crops... really bright color so they're a bit of fun! Good fit but with the thin fabric and triangle gusset they're nowhere near the quality of my older pairs.
Free to Be bras in Ray and Wjite... I was super worried these weren't going to fit after reading the reviews that this batch seemed tight. But yay they're perfect... only problem is the cup inserts seem to be all wrinkly and bent! Anyone else had them sent like this with online orders?!? Its not the first time for me and its not that cool to have wrinkly deformed looking boobs!
Fossil Diversity Wunder Unders... just as expected. I have the charcoal pair and have been living in them lately! Super comfy for lounging round the house in and they look good with boots for casual wear. Plus I love the length and the fact that they're not tight round the ankle. Not really recommended for working out though.
Hot But Not Tank... I HATED this when it first appeared! lol. But its grown on me so I had to try the Pop Orange. Again the color is awesome and I found the fit to be perfect tts 4. It felt really cool and comfortable to wear... sexy too!
Lastly Black Cruiser shorts... of course the non-returnable item is the only one I really didn't like! Just felt weird on to me... but all in all not a bad order. Hopefully nothing rips, snags, bleeds, goes see through or unravels at the seams and we're all good :)

I have the my mantra in black and light pink and it is ubersoft and comfortable.

I can't wait for the pow pink to show up myself. Go for it!

Anonymous said...

I buy 4s in everything too, but with my first pair only 2s were available so I took a chance. Only difference I noticed between 2 and 4 is that the waist on the 2 fits tighter. I prefer the 4 waist, but NOT if it's going to stretch out and stay stretched out. In that case, long term the 2 will probably work better or me.

*for* me.

@ NicoleC...the Hot But Not tank in Pop Orange is just so pretty huh? The website photos of the pop orange on that tank are way off too. The real color is pastel neon (think highlighter )peach...not the dark bland looking orange in those photos.
I have the Flashlight Hot But Not tank too, but the pop orange is by far my fave color...and I'm not an "orange" person...being a pale skinned blonde, it just shouldn't work on me...but people keep coming up to me to tell me how cute that tank is and how beautiful that color is on me. Haha...go figure!

FYI..apparently Pow Pink is actually going to be two colors. Pow Pink and Pow Pink Light.

Just received my Beyond Yoga Electric Purple gathered crops--gorgeous, soft, and great coverage! Wonderful alternative to the too sheer colored crops lulu has been putting out lately...

@anon 6:50
I just received the same item from BY - i couldn't be more thrilled with it - was so excited that had to take them to yoga class right away - they were so nice!!! they are so much softer then lulu. THis is my first purchase from BY - and now that i should wash them i am kind of worried - do they bleed? do you wash them with the same color - or washing it with black ok? any thoughts/experiences?

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 5:41/6:44, sounds like you would definitely be a size 2. I'm 5' 5" 125lbs and am a tts 4. (Anon 4:41) Very annoying about what the waistband is doing on your 4's

Minda said...

@yogibabe! HEY! thanks! I was feelin less RAAR black and white and thought I should be more MELLOYELLO for my pic!
- I hope all of your pow pink dreams come true tonight!

I like loading this site up in the morning to see what everyone got or almost got!
- Last thing I got was the racer length pow pink crb - no bleeding issues yet.

@anon 6:50pm I <3 beyond yoga soft leggies! I'm so glad you love yours! I have the electric purple too! The website suggests washing them inside out - I'm not sure why, I've washed them both ways but since I read they suggest inside out - I just wash that way now LOL.

Anonymous said...

@6:33, I've had some wrinkly bra pads, too. I fear the wrinkles will show through.

Anonymous said...

Do you put your BY leggings in the dryer?

Minda said...

anon7:10pm hey! I wash all my beyond yoga inside out and just throw them in with other sportswear. I've never had bleed issues. And I wash the baby blush pink with the electric purple with dahlia pink and black quilt and apricot orange and sage green. .. lol. but i do separate whites - but everyone does that =)
- i love to pair BY legs with CRBs

Minda said...

yes i put them in the dryer.

Hey Minda,
thanks for the BY info - i think it was you who wrote about BY having great capris and leggings - i gotta thank you - i am beyond the moon happy with my new colorful capris -- i wish i could sleep in them they are so soft :)!!!

Can someone give size recommendations on the Hot But Not Tank?

I'm 5"3, 105 lbs, 32C.

Katie said...

I am obsessed with BY pants! So glad we have a newbie on board!

Jessica said...

I am heading for the BY gathered crops boat(although lulu tops are much cuter!) I see a lot of reviews suggest to size down. Would you agree? BTW - thanks to you all and especially you LLA! I love this blog and all the info so generously shared!

Can anyone give some sizing advice for the Run: Nothing To Hide Crop?!? I'm a 4 in Grooves/Gather & Crow crops but normally prefer a 6 in Wunder Unders... which size for these? I was thinking 6 so they're not sheer but I'm worried the fold over waist part might be too loose if I size up and fall down during a run?

Laurie I'm 5'7, 125 lbs, 32b and went for a 4 in the Hot but Not... its perfect tts. Hope that helps!

Anonymous said...

I am a size 4 in grooves and gather and crows and a 6 in wonder unders and run inspires and I like BY size small. You will LOVE them! I agree with the above poster-- so soft they feel like a worn in pair of pjs! The Electric purple is bruised berry-esque and I am in love with mine. Minda, I know you have mentioned the quilted suplex before-- do you have any of the racerback tanks in this material?

Jessica said...

Are the heathered grey leggings as soft?

Minda said...

Hi all! - glad you are happy anon 7:24!!! Dance of Joy!!!!
- anon 8:51 yes I have the racerbacks, I personally like them because I am happy in all that soft material but some people have noted that they prefer lulu tops because of cups. BY racers don't have cups. I stay tts for tops and size down for legs. I LOVE the quilts - and have them all - it comes down to preference. fav summer outfit, white BY quilt crops with Menthol CRB. fresh!!!

look at this article - i'm thinking about checking out those lightning bolt leggings!!!

Anonymous said...

Love the lightnign bolts! Perfect for the lightning capital-- Tampa. I'm a Tampa girl too Minda! No sheerness issues with the BY white crops?

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:46, I would stick to your size 4 for the Run Nothing to Hide. I understand why people size up in WU, but I think you will regret it in the RNTH and will end up with crops sliding down. This is just my opinion. I don't own the RNTH but looked at them. I don't like the fact that there's no back zip pocket. I don't care for the fussy waistband. I have the Run Fast & Free and the Run Excel and highly recommend both of those. I also have the Run Marathon and I like the latter two crops better. I'm a tts 4 in all LL bottoms, inluding WU's, many yoga crops incl. G&C, and for running, also: Run Full Tilt, Run Chase Me, Run Inspire original.

Minda said...

no sheer probs in white quilt crops !! i don't have the white gathered ones three cheers for fl girls!

Anonymous said...

For those wondering (like I was) whether the new Ebb & Flow crops would have the new triangle gusset, they don't. It's an oval. And they do feel quite thick (though I never tried the previous runs), but they are see-through with a full bend-over.

I went for them anyway, in blue and black. I will wear a long shirt over them. Very comfy and flattering!

Anonymous said...

I have the black Beyond Yoga quilted crops and now I want all the quilted ones (and all the colors, while I'm at it). Probably will get long black next. But the white are really pretty, too.

My new Zobha crops have the triangle gusset, but it's not set so far back. Still....wish it were a diamond. But for $40 on clearance (non-returnable), I will live with it. Haven't worn them yet.

What are the purple crops you have on with the dress?
