I cannot get over how cute the Trinity Bra looks on some women. It even looks bad on the lulu  model but when it works it's really nice. I think it's great if you want to wear a bra by itself but want more coverage than most other lulu bras. Shown with the Hot N Sweaty Some Like It Hot shorts.

So I finally (after a restock) got my bruised berry swiftly SL. It's kind of boring! I have to take it home (my mail comes to a post office for pick up) and compare to it my old 'bold blue' swiftly short sleeve - it looks pretty close. I think what I actually must want is a potion purple swiftly SL - wonder if that will exist!??

All the styles of lulu have been boring lately...

I wish they'd fire their design team and Christine Day! LOL

I was wondering how close the bruised berry swiftly is to the rocksteady swiftly....I have the rocksteady and when I look at the online photos of bruised berry they look very close.

Lulu has become....that "bad boyfriend," you keep getting back with. He can send me all the flowers in the world, it's over.... Time to find a new man! Hahha!

@ yogibabe.....

Completely OT. Do you own a pair or have you tried on a pair of polocrosse crops?? Thoughts? I am eyeing the denim ones online, but I cannot get the "baboon butt" comment out of my head. Although, I like the lines on the black ones but little scared about sheerness and gusset issues. Like you, I am always looking for a great alternative to the WUs. Thx for your help!!

Seeing all these women rocking the Trinity bra is making me so depressed, lol. It was cutting so bad into the side of my boobs! And sizing up meant the lower band was basically just floating on me. Whhhyyyyy????!?? :(

Kristin - not Yogibabe- but I have a pair of the polocrosse and love them. My PARTIcULAr pair- not sure what the quality is now- IF they have altered... .are higher waisted and also a bit heavier material. I absolutely love them and get a lot of compliments. I don't feel "baboon butt" at all - infact the seaming for that is particularly ULTRA flattering for many as it accentuates femme curves and awesomeness!
Mine are the wee front with the black back.

I consider them to be workhorse type pants for me and I would only like them with a black seat and back - just incase I'm super seating LOL Not sure If I would sweat that much to show through -- but if I"m in WORKHORSE mode I only like the dark ones.

ALSO- I never put anything in the pockets. If I could I would redesign these without those pockets. Some people love those pockets but not me. . I've seen them bagging out and sagging on peeps --- SO unattractive!!
BUT - since I haven't put anything in them yet they are staying nice and flat to my sides! -- good luckies

I don't think those are the Hot n Sweaty shorts unless they added a new color I hadn't seen yet? Looks like the some like it hot shorts.

I am wearing my flash wu and just realized they have all these dark stains.. I think it's from the ph stuff and I looks terrible. I'm on my way to the gym and can't go home to change. F u lulu!

@ Kristen...
I have the polocrosse crops in bruised berry and love them. I just wore them today to a high impact cardio class. Despite my sweating, they held up very well. I could see some sweat, but it dried quickly. I never had to pull them up or adjust them. As a result of wearing those pants today, my new moniker is "the girl in the purple pants". So fun. I can't wait to wear them again!

bummer - also received my janky scuba today. I don't mind the fade of the fabric so much as I do the very contrasting zipper. Going straight back, sadly...

yeah, i love the polocrosse as well! wunder unders don't suit my body. i have a very "stacked" size 6 frame and feel like coco T wearing wunder unders. the polocrosse looks good on everyone i've seen it on! curves, no curves, tall, short, six pack-no pack! everyone can have the legging look with the magical polocrosses!!

OT: I've noticed that a number of people have been complaining about the 2 week return window. Out of curiosity, I would like to know if any of you lady's local stores have been lenient? I am a regular (weekly) customer at my LLL and have been able to exchange items that I have had over a month as long as it is within returning guidelines, even without a receipt. The educatiors are great and I always have a pleasurable shopping experience. Gestures such as these keep me supporting my local store. I also noticed that online orders are always returned and store bought items are always better for me. Defines are properly stitched, WUs and and E&Fs are noticeably thicker, Swiftlies are not snagged, etc. Please chime in...

@ Kristin Like others I have the denim polocrosse (Is is slub white maybe?)Anyway, I love them. One of my favorite pairs of crops! I have worn them for Yoga, Spin and Crossfit. I can't imagine wearing them for running as they would be way too hot (they are thick). They wick well and even in the sweatiest of workouts no butt sweat shows. I did have waste band sweat after a spin class but that was no biggie :)

I have only used the pockets for my ID and Money. They have stayed flat :)

OT I spent the weekend at a Cert with many other personal trainers and noticed one woman wearing the pink LS my mantra, but it was really really light, almost not pink anymore, but what I really noticed were many small holes in one of the sleeves. I own one, (and loved it) and thought, wow, she must really wear that thing a lot to have worn it out to the point of having holes, maybe bleach?

Anyway, I'm in yoga this afternoon, in down dog, wearing my LS pink My Mantra and what do I notice in the sleeve of my top? Yep, random holes! Almost like moth holes. I've worn it maybe 4 times, washed it twice, there is no way I wore holes in it. I did not push my hand or fingers through the fabric at any time. Random freakin' holes...in a $70 shirt.

I have not posted in a long time, especially not wanting to post a "warning" or complaint although I've had a few. Like returning two Ray Optima tanks for bleeding...I love that tank and the color which is why I bothered, but one more time an it's got to go back. And then this morning in Bikrams my FL tank bled on itself leaving purple blotches, I had to go in the shower to try and wash it out with soap trying to save it.

Anyway, back to my LS MM, if I hadn't seen another person with the same exact problem in her shirt I would have let it go, thought it was a bummer, and blamed myself for having done something, but now I believe it's the fabric.

My Lulu spending has been cut by at least 90% since the Barbie video insult, in addition to quality. In fact of I've only purchased 4 tanks and one crop in the past..well, since the Barbie thing, two of them with the bleeding problems and the see thru crops had to go back too.

Sorry to go on and on, but like all of you I want my old Lulu back...maybe not...I have been having a blast at Nordie's, sale or no sale, and Beyond Yoga.

OT... If any of you Canadian girls missed the white Perfrect Layer Tee, you should go check out the Joe Fresh version at Superstore. I just picked one up today for $12 and it's really cute. They have it in multiple colors (grey, blue, red, etc.) but the white looks the best. The burnout pattern is more zig zagged, not dots.

I don't miss being a Lululemming! LOL. I LOVE to see all the pics etc- but until quality booms, I'm a Splits59,Beyond Yoga,Frye, girl.
lol - well I'm all those things all the time anyway.. . .

But STILL, If people are still buying - do it- go buy away. But RETURN all crap stuff you won't use or has issues. Be a DEVOTED RETURNER! Do not settle! Demand the best. Lulu is obviously taking the stance of deny and blame like it is a HARD LIMIT! (lol 50 shades real life opportunity!) SO - we need to set HARD LIMITS TOO! heheee =D Returnnnnnn Remember 14 days. 14 days.

Serious?!!!!!! I am thinking about trying the brand SOLOW for some workout pants. How does this size run? The ie chart says if you are a 10, you should get an XL? This just seems crazy!!!! Please help!!!! Or.... If they suck I would also like to know!!! Haha!!

Ladies as I was picking up my Nike Olympic Track and Field long sleeve (woohoo! so ready!) I noticed that they have lots of ray, pop orange, blues, etc if you all are still looking for those vibrant colors. My Nike stuff has never bled (including hot pink in a marathon in Maui in 90 effing % humidity!)so I recommend to those who are in need of light tanks :)

Thx ladies for your feedback on the Polocrosse crops. I appreciate it. Im likIng the denim ones but also like the black ones too. Decisions, decisions!!!!
Again, thx ladies. You are all awesome!!!!

Just wanted to give my two cents on the space dye wunder unders, which finally arrived today. They're definitely thinner than my "go-to" black WUC, and I noticed a teeny bit of sheen, like others have mentioned. They seemed to pass the bend-over test (and trust me, I tried every which way, ha!), but I'm going to check again tomorrow morning in the daylight. I checked all the stitching and it seems to be good. Like others have said, it does have the triangular gusset, but it seems to be okay so far and passed my squat tests - doesn't seem to be too far, uh, up the back of the pants!

I was so set on returning them, but if they pass the daylight bend over test tomorrow, I think I'll keep 'em! And be happy with my final lulu purchase until they fix their issues! :)

@ anon 3:05 PM, agreed Joe Fresh has some awesome stuff for working out and everything else. They've had some nice "pop orange" and "pow pink" type coloured items for working out, and of course lots of other great brights and neutrals. Love JF!

Also Canadian ladies (and Americans with an Aritizia or TNA store near you), they are in major sale mode. Regular clothes and all workout gear on sale, "WU" type bottoms in not just the blacks but the bright flash type colour and aqua. I picked up a flash coloured tank for $12. No big deal if I eventually decide to rotate it out. It does come with a "bleed" warning sticker right on it: "Each garment will fade to its very own shade of neon. It's normal if the colour bleeds or transfer so WASH IT SEPARATELY before you wear it!" I'll pair it with a Y bra and LLL crops for tomorrow's Vinyasa Flow class.

I tried on the Wanderful Pant in black denim again. I really like them but I'm going to wait. Tried on the Run Sun Sprinter Short in the Caspian blue. I REALLY love the colour combo (with the grey) and they looked great, but I think the short is too light coloured for my tastes. Tried on the Turbo Run Short in Deep Indigo w/ Mirage, had to size down from my regular Speed short size. Haven't run in turbos in years, I switched to SS a long time ago...but I'm mulling the turbos over as I was surprised to like them. Maybe I won't wait for a SS version (and I'm NOT buying the 'naked seam' version, based on the reviews, plus I don't want that much mirage pattern).

I have a feeling that the Trinity bra will not fit me well based on others' reviews, but it keeps catching my eye. I still have not seen any pics of it layered under other tanks (unless I have missed them) and am so curious because I would not wear it alone.

@ anon 2:24 pm - I once pushed the return to 16 days (it was for my husband who decided late that he wanted to return something, grrr) but I love all the people at my local stores. They are all very nice. I am also a weekly customer.

@ Maggie - I took the tags off my black Space Dye Wunder Unders today to wear to see the new Batman movie. They do seem thinner but since it was 90 degrees out today I didn't mind at all. I will consider them my "summer weight" WUs. ;-) I like that they were made in Canada. The triangle gusset doesn't bother me.

Anonymous said...

I love my space dye wunder unders too! No issues with my pair. I find the triangular gusset hit or miss for me-- hard to predict when it will result in CT.

@Kristin
Sorry for taking so long to answer your question. Just got back from my Santa Barbara trip to Nordies, and lulu and all. I do not have the Polocrosse Crop. I am thinking of one and my husband thought the fossil white slub denim will be the one. He thought the "baboon butt" is not baboonish at all, but a very nice way to accentuate the tush. My only holdout is the pockets. I'm not too keen on it as I've heard that some peeps said that it puckers up or gape open with use. And as I will only be using it for yoga, I can see the pockets looking wonky in some of the poses that involves manipulation on the outer hip area (pigeon pose comes to mind). And I certainly do not need to put anything in the pockets for my classes-not that I will need sustenance to keep me going (lol), as one would do in long runs. Any inputs on the pockets, while the crop is in performance? However Kristin, I love the Sun Sprinter crop, as an alternative to the WU crop in the hot summer months. It is so elegant and streamlined with the pretty seams placement. As with all luxtreme crops, I size up from my WU size. Have three pairs to date: mirage/deep indigo,(love deep indigo in luxtreme-rich deep color), faded dot embossed black/flash and black/metallic silver. Try them out, if you can.

Anyhoo...promised my take on the Amuse Me pants (for you, Minda!) Well...it was an interesting experience. Certainly not my style (I guess I'm not as stylish as others!lol!). Comfy enough, but I do not like the "crotch" dropping down to my ankles! Can't even walk properly with it. Almost taking dainty "geisha" steps with it on, all the while feeling like I'm trapped by that massive volume of the pants. On the upside, no CT issues at all!!!Hard to explain, but I hope you get the gist of it.

The Covers It all Dress, obviously doesn't covers it all!!! Mighty airy feeling while I was lounging in it, trying all the possible configurations. My eds were having a blast playing "dolly", with me as the guinea pig! It was a riot! My problem is essentially that the dress in the smallest size, is too "big" on me. There are too many gaping areas, and too thick of a fabric, due to the double layered reversibility. The heaviness of the fabric also causes me to have to keep adjusting my foldover hip area, as the weight keeps pulling it down after so many steps I take. You can see my "hip dimples" on my lower back, when it was worn the halter like way, and the one shoulder look. Too bad, as it is actually really cute as a beach cover up.

But the good news is, I managed to snag both the caspian blue and pow pink NLTs. Love both! My ed hunted in the unopened boxes in back for caspian blue in my size for about 20 minutes, and came back triumphant. Love her for that! I was sad when I only saw one size 8 an one size 10 in caspian initially when I arrived, but was elated when she found one in the 4 for me. :)

And then, I spent a bunch at Nordstrom's......

Just washed my POW PINK NLT: NO BLEEDING, NO COLOR TRANSFERT to a towel that I rubbed it against ! LOVE ! LOVE ! LOVE ! Hope it stays that way.... :)
