More Photos of the Latest

Indigo/Mirage print Inspires - so many colors you can pair with these.

The Pow Stripe Distance hat is tempting me. I hardly ever wear my patterned hats, though.

I really like this color combo - Deep Indigo Optimal tank and Pow Pacesetter skirt.

The Pow Define (cannot wait for mine to get her) and the Bruise Berry Wunder Under pants (I think).
Mirage print Wunder Under pants. In this pair the Mirage print starts at the top but I think the pattern is the other way around in the crop version. Not sure, though. Update - the WUs with the white at the top of the pant are supposedly a manufacturing error and getting sent back.

Rare photo of the Pow Optimal tank, shown with the Roll Down Short.

Some photos of the new Engage bra. The straps can be crossed, too.

Some photos of the Light As Air Shorts.

Photos of the Run Nada Jacket. It seems to be snug in the shoulder area in a lot of photos.

The Black Team Spirit SS top.

Man, the indigo luxtreme running crops really do look great in these pics. I went back and forth in the store today between the Inspires and the Sun Sprinters. I ended up with the Sun Sprinters, but I'm gonna think about it for a few days, might go back and grab the Inspires anyway just to ensure my contemplating options. I also came thisclose to bringing home the Indigo Tie & Fly. I thought it was especially pretty in that color and the design is really practical for super hot days. But then I worried about what I would match it with. Watcha think? Any suggestions on what colors besides Pow Pink, which I refuse to own due to bleeding, would like good with all this indigo?

Mirage Wunder Under pants or crops: this past weekend I saw a girl wearing the crop version: the white was at the bottom of the legs. I'm in Canada.

Indigo looks awesome with everything.
Navy Blue is the new black. hahah
I pair my indigo crops with pink, purple, lilac, ray,
pop orange, white, flash & flash lite, aqua, rose quartz, blush quartz, violet...basically every color except black.
I love the Sun Sprinter crop, it's one of my favorites.
i regret purchasing the Tie and Fly, I'm short and the back doesn't lay right when the tank is cinched up.

Ohhhh I didn't realize there is an Indigo Tie and Fly. Going to the store to try it on today. I have the flash light color and love it (not a bleeder!). Also want to try on the light as air shorts and indigo inspires!

What happened to the Mirage WU crops on the website? Were they pulled from both the US and Canadian websites? Highly doubt they sold out (though lulu will probably claim this in an effort to deceive their loyal fan base). I checked last night ~10 pm PST and all sizes expect 12 were available.

Anonymous said...

@anon 6:39am, I checked a few hours ago too (I live in Asia so that was mid afternoon my time) and they were definitely there, all sizes available. I actually looked at all the new stuff coz I was thinking how these past few uploads, the items didn't sell as fast. Usually, there'd be nothing left the day after an upload, esp in the US/Intl site. Now, you can still get items from the previous uploads.

Anonymous said...

Love inspires but the newer colors have a shorter waist stripes and also cut in at the very top instead of being straight. Gives you a lower rise and the muffin top we have been seeing even on the models on the site...ugh another lulu change for the worse

Has anyone tried on the Bruised Berry Wunder Under pants? Are they sheer like the navy? I bought a pair of BB Polocrosse but had to return them when the seams unravelled after 1 wear.

Ok y'all!!! The REST DAY PULLOVER is back online in black! All sizes!!!! I got one a few months ago, and it's the cutest thing ever! Just thought I would share I saw it.....super dooper cute!!

Anonymous said...

Thanks for confirming that point, anon@6:49. I'm not interested in a pair due to the comments relating to sheerness, CT inducing triangle gusset, and uncertainty of print placement (I like to know exactly what I'm receiving when I order online). I am interested to hear why they disappeared though.

Great point about items from the previous upload still being available. Many of these would have been considered "must haves" in the past and would have sold out in hours.

Every picture of the pow pink define makes me super excited to get mine this week! I love my pow crb and cannot wait to add the define to my collection.

Question to the floor.... On another topic...anyone know of any other brands, you can buy off of online...(that have an online store) either in Canada or that ship to Canada?! A dependable, stylish brand....with no bleeding issues. :) I am aware of the Gap line for yoga gear...and don't like a lot of the styles they have avail. online. I googled what I was looking for, but didn't find much--many companies out there, only have stores and you cannot shop online. :( Anyone have any suggestions?! (I also found one BC based online store....but they dont answer emails, so Im leery about spending money with companies that dont reply to emails) THANKS for any suggestions... :)

I still can't make up my mind about the pow pink define. I love it, but the thought of a bleeding jacket really doesn't appeal.

As for the upload, though I was dazzled by all the pink, I didn't buy anything and won't buy anything else online, only in one of my local stores where I can try it on. The quality just can't be trusted and I refuse to toss money into the void on the hopes I'll get something that's not crap and doesn't smell like a fishworks.

Another note on quality. I was wearing plain black WU crops yesterday under a long top. They were new ones, with the new/old triangle gusset, in my normal size, and they were noticibly different from the 12-15 other pair of older WUs I have. Thin, CT inducing, and the gusset set way too far back. My lulu addiction is seriously waning.

I love WUs and I've gone down a size since I first started buying them (post pregnancy, so I was up a size), and some of my oldest pairs, which despite constant wear remain in great shape, can't be replaced with the same quality if I go down another (though I can be charged more of course.) I would have gladly gone out and bought a cartload because I wear them so often, but not now.

I guess I'm naive, but I just can't see how they are so willing risk losing so many customers like so many of us, who used to orders hundreds of dollars of goods PER WEEK and are now waffling over single item purchases once a month. Are they really making up for it by lowering the production cost and increasing the price point?

apologies for the essay.

The dune every yogi tank is gone from WMTM. It was there for at least a couple of weeks now, and there were several sizes available (size 6 and up). Last night, I saw it there and then a couple hrs later, they were ALL gone (all sizes). Did it really sell out? Hmmm... odd. I've been eye-ing it for a while, but wanted to wait to try on sizes at the store before I ordered, since some review mention sizing down. :\ Oh well.

Anonymous said...

@anon 10:26 probably got snatched up by an ebayer. Not much Dune left so it will make it "Rare." Boooo.

anonymous me said...

Another note, I'm absolutely gobsmacked that a day after the upload (Canadian side of the site), the pow pink WUs are still available online in almost all sizes. In the past that would be unheard of. Those things would have flown out the virtual door in a few hours!

Gina said...

Anon 10:36, I noticed too that the pink WU's as well as the white Groove pants are available in all sizes.
This is where I think LLL is dumb.
Had they made alllllll of them available the first time around they would have sold out. Second time around they've lost some of their newness appeal. I would have bought the white Grooves, but by time I got up in the morning and looked online they were sold out in my size- I live on the East Coast and this happens a lot. So frustrating. Now I won't buy the white ones as my summer season is so short here. Dumb! I woulda gave them my money before.
On another note, the lift & separate bra only comes in c cup and above. The girl in the pic does not look like a c cup. What gives?

Sourkraut said...

@Gina, I had the exact same thought about the Lift & Separate model. Someone here commented a few posts back that stores have it in B, it's just not available online. Alas, my store doesn't have that bra in stock yet so I can't confirm that.

While I get that the world doesn't revolve around us east coasters I do continue to find it annoying that they time their uploads so we either have to disrupt our sleep schedules or miss out on popular items/colors. Of course, with the quality issues that's become less of a problem lately but I don't get why the timing is the way it is while they insist on this artificial scarcity. Maybe now they'll catch on that the longer they wait to re-release an item the more time people have to read negative reviews about bleeding and see-through fabric so we're not as eager to buy the second time around. That and there is something to be said for the fervor that surrounds the release of a new item. Once it's restocked it's not as exciting to buy it. I'm sure that's yet another sign of our Lulu addiction messing with our brains.

still waiting for the mirage speeds with the seams! the naked seam just looks unfinished, and i'm worried about the sharpness of the edges. i tried on the light as air shorts and they feel like they could be sharp too on a run. booo.

Anonymous said...

The first anon 10:26, I completely agree with you!

Anonymous said...

I think anon 10:26 is right.... They think increasing price and decreasing quality will make their price margin larger for the time being but as more and more people stop buying due to quality theyre going to end up taking a huge hit.

Anonymous said...

@ 12:01...well we'll see if they take a huge hit. I've recently visited numerous blogs, hearing people go on and on about terrible quality issues and saying they are DONE and totally over....with lulu and not going to buy anymore...and then in the next thread, someone is talking about the 3 shirts, 2 shorts, 3 tanks and 2 jackets they just bought that are ALL bleeding color everywhere. LOL... In fact, there seems to more people out there, obsessing over all their recent purchases than people saying..."I'm done for now, no more Lulu, until they fix all their issues." In order for Lulu to truly be "hit hard" people will really have to DO IT and stop buying. It's ok to dream and obsess over Lulu....but I don't see people stopping their Lulu addictions--not anytime soon anyways....at least not based on all the threads I've read at various blogs. people truly are obsessed with their Lulu.... LOL It's cool...and sad, all at the same time!

So apparently the Pow Pink define is not in ANY stores in Ontario this week... Is it possible they will come next week or will I never get one since I didn't order yesterday morning at 4am?? :(

My store notification email has a lift and separate in Flash. Is that new? I don't remember seeing it online, but then again, I don't really pay much attention to that bra, since I'm an A cup and it doesn't come in that size.

Product notification link:

Anonymous said...

* Not that anyone would want a Flash bra anyway, since we all know that it's almost guaranteed to bleed. Meh.

Anonymous said...

Completely off topic but I keep having flashbacks from the movie "Field of Dreams" whenever I see the striped "Go the Distance" hat.

Go the distance.
Ease his pain.
If you build it, he will come.

Hmmm, maybe there's something to that. If Lulu makes it, we will come?

Anonymous said...

Sorry. Hit post before I finished thinking. Anyway, if Lulu makes it, we will buy it....that seems to have been the prevailing sentiment until recently. I guess in order for things to changes, we'll have to stop buying it unless it's good quality. Or things won't change.

Tried on the Pow Pink define in store today. IT.IS.PINK! LOL. I love pink but it was so hot pink it was a pass for me. TTS.

Ended up purchasing the indigo light at air shorts (TTS) and the nada jacket (TTS). I actually can't believe how much I like the run nada jacket,Perfect for summer running. Hits right at hip bones so not too long and sleeves are 3/4 so no fuss with the Garmin. Vented in the back and the feel is like butter. Not tight in the shoulders as some mentioned it appeared to be. Got it in white. It's very girlie!

Also tried on the Indigo Sun Runners and Inspires. No muffin top with either but do feel that the inspire waist band is now more narrow than the past version. Color is very pretty! Almost prefer the sun runners over the inspires since I like the solid indigo legs.

Also tried on the fast and free crops in wee are from space. Love them but need to size up and they did not have a 6 in that color in the specific store I was in. Will order online if still available.

Hope this info helps some of you!

Sourkraut & others: That was me asking about the lift and separate bra that may or may not be designed/work for a or b cup sizes...and i thought the same thing looking at the picture above!

if anyone sees it in the stores in a or b sizes, please do post on here! I'm not sure if that was a rumor or true that they come in B sizes in stores but not on uploads. Unfortunately I've had terrible experiences calling the stores.

Thanks,
vanessa

anon 12:13, (this is anonymous me from 10.26 and 10.36), I agree with you. A lot of us say NO MORE, and then people keep buying.

I suspect, perhaps wrongly, but even so, that many of the newer big purchasers may be people who don't have much of the older product and therefore can't compare quality in the same way. Those of us with a wardrobe of Lulu (yes, I'm a little embarrassed about it, but it's there, so....) can so easily see and feel the difference, and with each purchase we hope that the problems have been solved.

I believe bottoms, especially WUs, and bright colours like Ray are the worst offenders in quality drop. I admit I still bought all colours of the diversity ls top and 4 rehearsal tops (grey and black). Their quality, at present, anyway, still seems okay. They're soft and comfortable, albeit I think overpriced for, at least in the diversity ls, what's essentially a glorified tee-shirt.

As for brights, I have enough of the cotton blend pow pink to do a single load of just them. No luon, they're all from the diversity line. I wear them for relaxing more than working out, so my Ph level doesn't factor in (ha!).

On principle I want to cut lulu off like a bad news family member. On the other hand, they're like heroin in clothing form (I'm surmising that, I've never done any drug, just clearing that up).

It's also such a first world problem that I feel foolish spending so much time spending time thinking about it.

To sum it up, I'm a fool, the very kind they want, for still giving them my money, but damn it, I want that pink jacket. It's a quandry.

I want to get thepow pink, but am worried it will be too similar to the heather Paris pink define I have.

re: Mirage WU's disappearing...they're not under regular WU, they're under "Diversity WU" and they are still available on-line for the Canadian Store in sizes 2 through 8, as of 5:52 ET as I post this. Sold out on-line in the US.

Saw the Mirage WU's in store- not white on top. Saw a gal try them on and they looked cute.

Bow Headbands are also pretty darn cute!

The Pow Pink is not as bright as the Paris Pink. It has a richer look since it is not heathered. It seems to be less appealing to the younger population unlike the Paris Pink.
I went to the store yesterday and tried on a lot of things. I normally don;t do this. Because of this, I ended up buying my first groove pants in Indigo and mirage waist ( I own crops not pants), the WU pants in Deep Indigo Slub Denim (sooo pretty). I can see myself wearing this a lot in the winter with boots. No turning back for me since they hemmed them. I also bought the pacesetter skirt in Pow stripe, free to be bra in metallic (pretty), engage bra in Pow (of course). I ordered 2 defines online during upload (1 mine and 1 for sister's Bday coming up), also bound bra in pow. I really liked the Nada jacket (the shortness of sleeves and trunk length suits my short self). I also tried the team spirit (?) shirt. I had to size down and I only like the black of the three colors. The sun sprinter crop's ruffled trim looked really stretched out on the sides on me. I like it when it is slightly wrinkled. The gather and crow in denim was cute but it tended to flare out on the hem where there's a split, I guess since denim is a stiffer material. Cute to look at but not on me. I don't remember the other things I tried on. I might get the Nada jacket but I'll see how I like my defines first.

Sandra said...

I bet they took them down because they were NOTHING like the picture. The tops were white at least in my store and some one in the US called and they verified all the crops ordered on the upload were indeed NOT as pictured on the site with indigo top.

Sandra said...

I tried them on and they felt very nice and soft and oddly enough were not see thru and I did the bend test BUT I had a camel toe and it was just not cool.

Okay, someone was talking the other day about the Walmart Danskin line...tell me this isn't an $11 lift and separate bra!

BTW, a lot of runners in Austin, TX who were trying on the light as air shorts really liked it a LOT. They were so happy with it. That city is full of runners so I trust these shorts are good for that.

Sandra said...

The Diversity WU looks almost identical to the WU but it's slightly longer but still a crop and you can tell by touching them that they are very different. The WU is Luon and the Diversity WU is more of a cotton blend and shows sweat. Are you sure they were the WU and not the diversity WU? Because I personally think people would be happy if the WU did have the blue top but from the store I went to, the tops were indeed white.
If you did see them I would like to know what area or store; I feel bad for people that will receive the WU w/ white tops I saw in my store.

Anonymous said...

How about they sold out on the US site regardless. And yes, someone did inquire to the GEC and they confirmed, they're not all mirage up top, white at the bottom and "you'll get what you'll get". LLA has posted the pics of the white up top, proving they come in that pattern lay. I've seen them in person and it's as shown on the site with mirage up top. Unless you buy them in person, you're not getting a LLL guarantee of how the pattern will lay for an on-line order. I have no doubt they sold out in the US since a) majority of people will think they're going to get the item as pictured/presented on-line. This may not be what they in fact receive (but some will get the ones as pictured) and possible dissatisfaction will ensue. Or b) people like them or want them anyway.

LLL wants your money and they will get it. People on this blog prove it time and time again. People continue to buy known bleeders and put themselves through such frustration with wear, laundry etc. Some people (on here) say they're done with LLL and in the next upload, they're posting all about what they've bought. Some people say they're done and are truly done: awesome they stand their ground.

Anonymous said...

@ Katie...of course other manufacturers of a similar bra! It's NOT as if LLL invented this style.

Has anyone else noticed the Metallic Silver Power Y beneath the Wandering Yogi Tanks? Very cute, but an easy pass for me since I'm Metallic Silvered out lol.

Anonymous said...

Usually when a site deploys any change to their website, it's scheduled during the least busy period in an effort to avoid any major disruptions. Although since we all know people wait up for a LLL upload, I don't know if that reason is still logical but that's how most sites do it.

@ Anon 10:19... O'neilll 365... I cannot say this enough. Sold at several retailers and I think there has to be someone that ships to Canada. Lulu used to be my fave but was replaced by this line.

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 10:19 re: O'neill 365...this brand ends up in Winners quite consistently. However, as you know, it's luck of the draw on what stock and what sizes. If you keep checking it might pay off.

@anon 3:51 no need to be snarky. This was per a conversation the other day about he Danskin line and Minda said she had a few $5 tanks and loved them bc she could wear them and not worry cuz they were $5. Sooooo when I ran across an identical bra to a new release people are talking about I thought a few folks might be interested to try it. After all, it is $11... And probably doesn't bleed lol.

...and for the record, lulu often DOES invent the design...isn't that why we shop there? It is common to discuss lulu knockoffs on here. Gals raved about the foot locker DSPs and I personally adore the Gapfit Swiftlys.

I saw the flash lift and separate bra in a 34b at Santana Row in CA. Didn't buy it because it pulls at the back of my neck. The inside seams are too visible as well without some sort of cup in it.

Thanks 6:25 and 6:51!!! I will check Winners.

I agree 2:47pm...(from 12:13 anon.) I think a lot of people are going to keep buying and sadly, nothing is going to change at Lululemon. I think...the only way color bleeding will change/stop at Lululemon....is if more people forward posts on Lulu FB....of people upset with the quality of Lululemon. I'm sure they (lulu) wouldn't want it "getting out," to competitors...(the gap, one tooth, ALO) that people are having major color bleed problems.....and that customers are getting horrible customer service.(and silly explanations of it being the fault of the customer for her pH in her sweat) If more people, important people, know about this...they will have NO CHOICE, but to change....or become a sinking ship! Social media is great for this!! :) We should be saying, "fix this Lulu NOW....(it's been 3 years already) or we will tell the paper, social media, competitors..." Copy and paste are a powerful thing...and you can go on FB anywhere and copy an entire thread. Lulu will have no choice but to change!

@Katie... I have that plunge bra from Walmart. I have had it for YEARS and love it, but for me, a D cup, it isn't that supportive. Works great under tops with shelf bras, or with another bra over it, but not much support for high-impact activities otherwise. I would hope that the Lulu version would be more supportive? Not sure, though! :)

Ooooooh!!! Katie - which one is the GapFit swiftly? Love the lulu style but hate having to baby it for the price! Would love to try Gap!!! Thanks!!!

The Gap swiftly = motion seamless motion top. I vouch for them. I have one (got it on sale for $17) in a cross between paris pink and flash. It never bled, is just as comfy and flattering as a swiftly and doesn't stink. Try em' out.
