I really like the tank. It's super cute.

Whaaaah! The whole outfit is so cute! And it's probably only for participants to purchase, so I can't get any. :( So, all you "wheezers" enjoy these special items. You've trained or are still training hard, you derserve these beauties!!!

Love the teal blue and red combination in the speeds. Seriously, one of my fav color combos ever.

Pretty!!!

Anonymous said...

Or we'll see them on EBay for $500 a piece! LMAO...

Anonymous said...

I love reading your ALL your comments Minda! you are too cute! :)

Anonymous said...

BTW.....when my husband says, I shop Waaay too much for being an "at home mum," I tell him that I meet and see woman who shop WAY MORE online, than I do....so if I just blew $400 on Lulu.....look on the bright side--it could have been A LOT worse! He then shuts right up. LOL....

Anonymous said...

that is cute, now why can't that be made for the masses???

Minda said...

Hey thanks! I love reading all the comments here too! It is a blast!
- Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be following the ups and downs of a sportswear company so avidly!

(from 4:51pm) @ Minda--My husband says this Lulu addiction is just crazy....I'm just glad it isn't just ME...with this Lulu addiction! ;) I started buying Lulu about 12 years ago....when barely anyone had heard of Lulu... I remember telling people about my Lulu and people would say, "what's that???" LOL....

Anonymous said...

@ Minda. I check 8 places-- Facebook, lulu addict, Lulumum-- but never leave any comments, Sephora.com, Lululemon, M A C, TOMS website, sometimes Louis Vuitton....and that's my day, in between running after a toddler! :) Fun times!!

Minda said...

BIG enabler hugs to all =D you rock!
I check here and lulumum - also peek in on splits59, beyond yoga alternative apparel, zappos (dreaming of frye boots), pure barre, and -- facebook. lol.

LOL Minda!! Although...my husband is probably NOT LOL'ing... Frye boots are awesome!!! oh and I forgot the UGGS website!! Anything that is online and can be ordered in Canada. A lot of sites....I might be interested in, DON'T ship to Canada or will ship to Canada for a hefty price! I hate waiting more than 2 weeks, so I try not to be tempted by anything in the USA. LOL I just waited 3 weeks for an order from Sephora...that they apparently LOST at Customs, so needless to say, I won't be ordering online from sephora again! I'll go to store, next time....!

Super cute! I don't usually buy matchy outfits but if they would release this for us non-Sea Wheeze peons I would make an exception. I have always adored that color combo.

Fellow Frye dreamer over here too. One day, I tell myself. The silly thing is I could have bought several pairs with what I've spent at Lulu in the past few months. Let's see if they'll sell some to us with a bulk discount so we can all have a pair.

Nordstrom is having their pre anniversary sale going on right now for those with cards.I need to slow down on Lulu so I can get some Tory Burch boots, Burberry coat and purse for the fall before they sell out. Come on Lulu don;t release anything cute this week. I think I'm just a shopping addict not just Lulu. Just so all those who are Nordstrom fans know, btw. They will open the sale to everyone on the 20th. I feel a rush just thinking about it... I love good customer service.

Pink Peony 4 said...

BTW, scuba currant hoodie restocked on website... got a 4 and 6 for christmas presents... Yay.

I have a new favorite saleswoman in the Activewear department at Nordstrom. I adore her. I don't buy that much from the department--but I'm starting to buy more because 1) the options at Nordstrom keep getting better, 2) the options at Lululemon seem to be declining and 3) the customer service and the customer service policies at Nordstrom are top notch.

But I admit that I do love this photo of the SeaWheeze gear. Darling. Wish they were selling that in stores instead of the current merchandise.

yogibabe said...

@Pink Peony 4
Glad you finally got you currant Scubas! We all have been hailing you on this matter since the wee hour of the AM!

@Minda & Sourkraut
Glad to hear that we have fellow Frye-rs here too. ;) I've been rocking the Frye sandals and summer shoes/wedges here in sunny CA! My boots are waiting impatiently in the closet. :) And Sourkraut, I feel the same way in regards to being a Sea Wheeze Peon. Love the color combo of this outfit. Hoping lulu will see it fit to release these to us plebians....

Pink Peony 4 said...

@yogibabe: thank you soo much for the hailing. Me, oblivious. Had hair appointment today after gym. You are so sweet...

sophia said...

super cute...wish they were selling that instead of the current offerings. alas..

in other news, i was at the store today and saw a few items that i don't think have been mentioned here already:
- a FLASH (yes, you read that correctly - not flash light, not pow pink, but straight up FLASH) Lift and Separate Bra. I love flash, but really? it was originally released in JANUARY. it's now JULY. do we really need 7 months of flash?
-Pop orange and pow pink light swiftly headbands

Anonymous said...

I definitely dig those speed shorts. I only run in ss and that's a nice colour combo. I will be running the Sea Wheeze and we'll see if they want an extra arm & leg for special SW gear, hence I may or may not buy. I would not buy to sell on ebay but no doubt that will happen.

Minda said...

Wow you are right!! I remember first seeing this color trending in January with splits59 solar and then the flash. It's been a long and flashy flash time for us! I think I'm pretty much done flashing for now! Ready to RRRRRRHUMBA!! With reds and sapphires and emeralds!

@ yogibabe since frye are so spendy I haven't gotten a pair yet. Hoping to find the perfect brown knee high boot that isn't too country isn't too British. Isn't too industrial and isn't too mad max!! Something bohemian chic all terrain awesome with jeans or leggings and tunic!!!

Jen said...

OMG. My flight to Vancouver can't come soon enough. This tank will be mine! And if there is a cute red run skirt as well ... it too is coming home with me.

Re: the addiction. Was just talking to a coworker today about the currant scubas being loaded (I picked up mine in the ninja upload last month after reading all the comments on this blog about them!), and she started chuckling. I've only been a lulu convert since the beginning of the year, so she wanted to know where I was finding out all of the info (e.g. bleeding, new WMTM, etc) and I fessed up to reading this blog (every day), jumping on for the upload while stretching before my Tuesday a.m. run and reading product reviews in my spare time. Yup. Addicted. My husband asked this morning - "do they give you one of those shopping bags every time you buy something online?" because we have shoppers growing in every nook of our home.

@ yogi babe, you crack me up.....plebeians!!

I love this tank! Speeds don't have a long enough inseam forme, but I do love this color combo!! Hoping us non-wheezers worthy of a release!

I've been addicted for about a year, but my stalking tendencies have risen exponentially in the last couple of months! I was getting up @ 1:30 to check the upload, but then realized that was a little obsessive since I get up at 4:30 Central time to teach Bootcamp & can just check then!

@yogibabe yes sorry for ot all but YOGIIIIIIIII these are what I've been hoping! the mirabelle slouch taupe is ITTTTT. Right now its ticked over to the 14th. . . this is my birthday =) and I'm gonna get these boots! Thanks for helping me find them!

You Frye friends need to checkout 6pm.com -- great reliable website for goodies at a discount!

On a side note.... I realized today as I was getting ready to go hangout with some friends... That I look MUCH cuter at the gym than in real life! I must cut back on this LLl craze. Seriously.... I have more new LLL right now than real clothes!

Anonymous said...

Gee I LOVE this blog!!

Amy B- I'm with you as I have spent more on lulu clothes than regular clothes the last several months!

Minda- you will so love Fryes. I myself have 5 pairs of Frye boots- Melissa buttons, Veronica slouch to name a couple. They look great with Wunder unders, too! LOL. Why not!

Hopefully, the Nordstrom anniversary sale will have Frye boots on sale. The good styles never seem to go on sale, but Fryes are worth it. Make sure they are made in Mexico. :)

Great shoes on endless.com, too! Free ship both ways and you can return within 365 days!

Happy Birthday Minda!!!!! :) have an awesome day!! :) from 4:51 & 5:22pm (the one who started talking about her "other" obsessions) I'm more obsessed about handbags and quite a HUGE collection. LOL.... A few years ago, we were buying a new house and I convinced my husband.....I needed a new $2,000 handbag. LOL.... I love Louis Vuitton, my favorite! I was trolling this website in Paris, I think...that now ships to Canada... Their most expensive handbag, was this ugly poo green bag and they were asking a mere....$75,000 for it and they only had 1 available!! LOL.... I would never get that obsessed and spend that much on a handbag. I wouldn't even spend that much on Lulu in a year...especially now with all the problems they've been having lately. Hope you have a wonderful Birthday Minda and your hubby spoils you rotten!! ;)

Minda said...

Thanks for the sweet wishes all!! Pretty much the only deep fryed action I don't have to worry about showing up on my hips!!!!

Not to sound like a total addict but I kinda view all my sporty gear as regular clothes LOL! Crbs with skirts or jeans! Wus with heels and tunics! It is literally lunch with friends to the elliptical in zero to sixty!!

(frim 3:58am) Minda, I went YEARS working at ALDO and other high end shoe stores, looking all Paris Hilton like...with my 4-5 inch heels on. In fact, I would work an 8-10 hr shift in these heels. now. In my 30s my feet are just destroyed and I can only wear a few low wedges, my UGGS and my TOMS. I also love my sporty COACH thong sandals that are ohhh so comfy!! Around the house I wear my UGGS Rylan slippers. :)

Kristin said...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MINDA!!! I'm glad you are treating yourself w/ a pair of frye boots! Now I think I want a pair. I have always wanted a pair. Have some cake for me!
Thx Yogibabe for the links to some amazing frye boots too. Have a great weekend.

BTW, love the sea wheeze outfit. GREAT COLORS!!! Now I wish I was running the race.

I know this is off topic but has anyone noticed a difference in the new CRBs? I just received the Pop Orange and Pow Pink that I ordered online in the beginning of July and the fit is so different from the older ones! The Pow Pink is more similar to the older styles but significantly longer and with a slimmer cut. The Pop Orange is so low in the front! It is also slimmer and longer and kind of puckers right by my neck in the back unless I pull it way down in the front. The material didn't feel scratchy to me but it definitely isn't as soft as it has been. Did anyone else notice a difference? I have about 20 CRBs from the past couple years and they are my favorite tank but I may have to stop buying them if this is the new style. I wish Lulu would stop tweaking with what they did well.

purrfiktangil said...

That crb is super cute with the lil reflective runner chick on the back and the speeds. And totally OT, I decided to glance at the Australian lulu site and the classic speed shorts are on there in the pow pink elevation stripe with deep indigo trim, so hopefully for all those wanting that print in that style of short, it'll make an appearance over here some day soon...and not bleed :)

Happy birthday Minda! You'll be hooked on Frye. I have a Frye, Gucci, Koolaburra and Ugg problem in addition to my lulu problem. I am going on my 20th pair of boots from Frye now and never had a quality issue. Wish I could say the same about lulu!!!

Sourkraut said...

I have nothing more to contribute to the Lulu conversation but wanted to say happy birthday to Minda!! I hope your day involves lots and lots of treats.

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:49. I too have a bunch of the CRB and recently picked up the pop orange, and did not experience your issues. Mine is super soft and fits great, except I have found that the bottom of the shirt that falls around your waist seems bigger that usual. I did notice the material of the flash stripe CRB was cut differently, fit tighter that others, and the material is rough.

Anonymous said...

OMG! I love the Seawheeze color combos, training in my polka-dots have been awesome! I can't wait to shop in Vancouver!! I'm really hoping for a SeaWheeze skirt!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:49~ YES! I have been saying the same thing about CRB's for a while now, they are longer (whih is ok w/ me) but the straps are longer also, making the front come down VERY Low, at least an inch of my cross my heart bra shows, and a strange puckering or not laying flat at the top of the racer back, AND bigger (longer?) in the armpit area. Also the fit isn't consistant, I bought a flash SZ 4 that is super tight and a grey microstripe also SZ 4 that fits perfectly. I have returned the last few I bought and have been wearing SS Swiftly's and my old CRB's lately. I am NOT happy with the new fit.

Anonymous said...

Is the tag on your Pop Orange at the top or the bottom of the tank? All of my old ones and the Pow Pink are at the top but the Pop Orange is at the bottom.

Anonymous said...

Have you kept any with the new fit and washed them to see if they are better after they are washed? I was wondering if maybe it was weird because of the chemicals used to treat it for shipping and that was making it more rigid and not lay flat. I have certain staples that I buy regularly and they are all different lately. And not in a good way. Also, they no longer have the Lulu smell - the good one, not the fishy one! I am sad! I miss the old Lulu!

Anonymous said...

Store report: everything SUCKS. All the WUC were new gusset. The educator seemed sad that the style and quality had changed and agreed that they are see through on everyone. No interesting CRB colors. Everything seemed cheaply made. However, I did try on some Ebb and Flow crops for the first time. The black pair was totally sheer. The deep indigo were PERFECT. Not sheer and make my butt look awesome. That's all I bought though. I still want a few
more CRBs and Scoopnecks for my collection but will stick to eBay for now.

Anonymous said...

Wow.... what'a happening with Lulu modifying all their staple pieces ?? I'm also very unhappy with CRBs, WUs, Power Ys ! It's got to stop Lulu ! PLEASE BRING BACK THE QUALITY AND WELL FITTING DESIGNS ! My interest in Lulu is fading... Love this blog ! :)

Can anyone help me choose an In-Stride jacket? I have recently updated my Lululemon wardrobe with some more summery/bright shades (everything I have up till now has been pretty much some variation of plum/violet/charcoal/black) I got a Power Y in Flash Light (surprised how much I like this color on me)a Scoop Neck Tank in Heathered Fossil/Blurred Blossom, and groove pants with the Flash/April Wee are from Space waistband. I am also trying to also track down a tank in the April Wee are from Space print. I am thinking about either the Heathered Fossil/Blurred Blossom In Stride, or the Flash Light-I kind of like the idea of the solid color In Stride, but I also think the Heathered Fossil/Blurred Blossom might pair with even more colors down the road, including these...Any thoughts? thanks for any advice/help you can provide!

Ashley said...

So I just received my Pow Pink Define and it is pink! it is a beautiful color but I can't decide if it is too pink for a jacket. What do yall think? I am torn.

Anonymous said...

Re: CRB issues. The last CRB I bought was in 'porcelaine' and I have no complaints. It is soft and straps, neck etc. are perfect. I'm a size 2 and in the past normally always have to get my CRB's hemmed. I did not need to get 'porcelaine' hemmed...it was already the "right" length for me when compared to all my other hemmed ones. My other recent white one also didn't need to be hemmed. So, sometimes I need them hemmed and sometimes I do not. I will say that some wee stripe ones vary in terms of softness/roughness. I have a b&w wee microstripe that's very soft/smooth, but then a purple/grey and grey/white that are on the 'rougher' side for texture...they don't feel uncomfortable though.

sophia said...

@Ashley - i just gave in a bought a pow pink define as well...and yes, it is PINK. i wasn't sure about it at first, but it definitely grows on you...and i've gotten lots of compliments on it. it's just plain fun (: i thought of it this way...right now i'm having fun wearing it. if i decide in a few months that i'm over it, i'll just put it on ebay - you're pretty much guarunteed to make the retail value of it back...and you can probably make $ on it if you're so inclined (paris pink defines are going for $200+). so you really have nothing to lose by keeping it and trying it out!

Anonymous said...

Omg me too!!! And every time I try to buy real cloths I come home with more to rub in. I guess at least if it keeps me in good shape it'll matter less what I wear in real life? Lol

@8:21am....it's a coach sandal that is like a spongy flip flop. Has about an inch heel and I don't know the name....but it runs about $98???? I also saw it in black and multi-color at a store a month ago....on sale like $30 off!!! I bought mine last year, but they are back out again this year! :) KOOLABURA??? I have to google and see what that is! :) Frye....I had heard of them, but was like meh....but I looked on their website today and sooo want a tall pair now! Now I just have to see which stores in Canada carry Frye! LOL.... you guys are enablers!! (just kidding) :)

OT: Went to Nordstrom anniversary sale today (almost all day) and OMG I spent a lot of money on Burberry jacket, Tory Burch boots, leggings, blouses for the fall. I have been bitten by the new season bug big time. Lots of good deals I got. I will still wear my lulu leggings but these are dressier and not sheer. Frye boots for those talking about it. Know that not everything is on sale but this is not the half yearly sale where they get rid of old stuff. This is what's coming for the fall. You just get to buy it before everyone else and at about 40% discount. Definitely better than WMTM that I know of. I am sooo psyched. Fingers crossed for a not so good upload on Monday. Yikes...

I'm going to nordstrom today. I'm looking for a cute and of course comfortable pair of cross training shoes. Any recommendations? I'm hoping nordstrom has some good sales! I'm loving all the bright colors in foot gear, too!

Anonymous said...

grrr!! just got my silver/pow pink inspires and they are cheap cheap cheap!!! i ordered two pairs my size 6 and an 8. the size six fits well no weird muffin top but is SO SEE THROUGH! the 8 still shows major vpl and is saggy in the crotch and leg holes, they definately fit large. both feel flimsy and the colored waistband is so freaking slim. lulu is even getting cheap with their accents colors. really lululemon, you can't afford an extra inch of colored fabric on your crops now?!

Laurie said...

@ Anon 5:29 - I got my Mirage Inspires yesterday in the mail and I am obsessed. They don't seem any different than my other pair of Inspires, and certainly aren't see through.

Have you owned Inspires previously? I wouldn't think the quality of the Mirage vs the Pow Pink would differ much since they were released at the same time.

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 5:29 SAY IT ISN'T SO!! *Sigh* Mine will be here Tuesday, I was so looking forward to them.

Jessica said...

Happy Birthday Minda!

Anonymous said...

this is 5:29. yes i own inspires and if you lay the pows on top of an older color you can clearly see the waistband is different. i also own a few other bottoms in luxtreme and non show vpl like these new ones!! i wouldn't be surprised if the mirage ones are different as it seems the same styles in different colors have fabric and other quality inconsistencies. i've experienced it myself lately with tanks especially. i'll love one, order another color and completely hate it.

Anonymous said...

I just a pair of Asics with grey and pow pinkish color. Yes! It's part of the nordstrom anniversary pre sale event. Yay! Comfy n cute. :)

Anonymous said...

I think there is a shill for nordstroms on here

Anonymous said...

@pink peony- what burberry jacket did you get? And how good is the sale? I am dying for one! Was at Nordstrom today but didn't look at Burberry. I did stock up on nude hanky pankys because all of my
Lulu is so sheer. How pathetic! Might be time to end my love affair with lulu.

OT: Hi again ladies. - thanks for all the well wishing! Just home from a fantastic swanky dinner with my hubs!
My friend suggested that the frye boots I picked out might be better if I find them in the hide- not suede. She said suede was a pain to care for. lol - well we will see when they arrive!

OH- and I wonder how caspian blue will look like on people. It might be really lovely! Or it might be pale and too much "it's a boy" lol
I'm gonna hope for the best!!
I have a concord grape as my only no limits- I really love the material!!

I don't think I'm a total doofus when it comes to color, but something about this outfit reminds me of a clown. Is it the wacky stripe crb?
