NEW! Mirage Print Scoop Me Up Tank

Interesting new Scoop Me Up tank in the Mirage Print. I wonder why they chose to make the center seam in the back use a contrasting dark thread and not repeat it around the neckline and elsewhere. I like to see a close up of this tank because the bottom portion looks pinker than the bra portion.

As long as it is not made with luon light, I am interested. Love my 4 Scoop Me Up tanks. :)

It's probably pinker because it bled. At least the bleeding will work with this pattern...probably the reason they designed it.

One could hope that they did regular solid luon on the top portion to make it not as sheer as if the entire tank was the poly blend mirage print.

Would it seem to be a different color around the neckline because the fabric is a double layer there- where as the rest of the tank is partially see through- especially on the belly??

I love Mirage. I got mirage in the Daily tank and I love it. I generally have a rule, only 2 tanks in any color & 2 tanks in any style. I already have the Scoop me up in Pink and Navy but I need it in Mirage !

I hope more non-polka dot Lilac tanks are on the way. It's my favorite color. The "Some like it hot" didn't work for me and I'm not in love with the fabric for the Lilac X-long CRB. Would love to see it in scoop tank.
I was considering getting the Lilac Stride jacket (unsure about the Keith Patridge collar) but it's gone from the website.

Keith Partridge collar --love it!

That black seam looks stupid to me.

This was my unexpected purchase the other day - I love it. The Scoop Me Up isn't as functional for athletic activities compared to my Scoop Neck tanks, however I couldn't resist the Mirage print distribution and soft buttery feel of the fabric.

No see-through issues or scratchy fabric problems as found with the diversity tank and CRB XL in Mirage. And the black seam running up the back (and on the sides and bottom hem) isn't that noticeable in person, imo. It is a high poly tank though - 94%.

Super cute, but the Scoop Me Up does'nt fit me very well. It looks great and I love the adjustable bra, but the straps pull on my neck. I was really surprised by this bc it was pretty roomy everywhere else. It was almost as if the top was made improperly and the strap around my neck belonged to a tank two sizes smaller. Very disappointed. :(

That dark seam up the back of the Scoop Me Up makes zero sense. It looks like they sewed together the top and bottom of two different tanks together.

@groovegirl
Thanks for your review of the Mirage Scoop Me Up. I take it that it is made with just regular (albeit high poly content due to the print)luon. Happy to hear about the non see through-ness. I love this print and was very disappointed that I have to send back my luon light Power Y due to that issue (but lulu paid my shipping back, though). The black/dark seam running through the back doesn't bother me. Hope that it will be uploaded Monday. And it will be and extra bonus if there are more new colors in the Scoop MU, like pop orange and the elusive BB. One can always hope, right! ;)

i just bought this tank yesterday. it is called luon on the tag, but feels more like luon light (though was not see through even when very wet in yoga today). the contrasting navy thread also goes up the sides, which makes it seem less out of place. the bottom portion is not pinker in person. you can tell if you look up close (and in person of course) that there is contrasting flash thread on the back straps as well as around the seam under the bust, which i think is a cute detail. i wore it today for 106 degree yoga and had no bleeding whatsoever. definitely nice fit for power yoga!

My pleasure, yogibabe;). I'm almost positive the tank is made from regular luon. I checked the product tag and there's no mention of luon light in the description. Also, I've tried the pow pink and white/silver versions of the Scoop Me Up and the fabric felt similar when compared to the Mirage print. Lastly, I tested the tank with cup inserts and had no issues with see through-ness.

It's hit stores in Southern California (this pic is from the Calabasas store - I recognize the GE & I bought mine in Palm Desert on Friday), so I'm thinking it will be uploaded Monday night.

Hope this helps=)

Oops, apologize for the redundancy in my reply - I was reading from my phone and didn't refresh for updates to this post. Given anon @ 12:27 pm's great feedback re: power yoga, I'd say give it a try. I think you'll really like it.

Thanks again groovegirl and anon 12:27pm. I love all the help we get from each other, here at the blog! :)

This tank is regular thick luon on the top (solves the see through issue on the power y), but the poly material used on the power y, etc., on the bottom portion. This is the only mirage tank that I would get because it isn't completely see through like the others. Since the power y and this were released within a week of eachother, it is like Lulu knew about the see through issue, but sent out other tanks anyways. I was so glad I returned the power y when I saw this.

Tried on the Mirage print in 3 tanks today and went home with the Scoop Me Up version. The Power Y was too sheer, you can see the dots fom the bra pockets through the tank. The Diversity tank is also thin, the fabric has a soft hand and has a worn appearance. The Scoop Me Up is the heaviest of the three and is not see through. The side and back seams are navy, an interesting design detail.

I liked the Diversity tank length and back straps, but the fabric seems cheap. Would love to see it in Luon.

Not sure why they would print dots on the bra pocket fabric. Non-value added detail and looks terrible through the white Luon light.
