New No Limit Tanks, Trinity Bra, Enlightened Pullover and More

White/Blazer Fossil, Caspian, and Pow Light No Limit Tanks

Caspian Blue NLT
Photos of the new Pow Light and Caspian Blue No Limit Tanks. I ran down to the store today to make sure I got a Pow NLT. I'm thinking about tearing off the tags to wear to the gym for tomorrow's weights workout. The NLT is one of my favorite tanks when the weather gets hot.

Ignore the hideous Amuse Me pants to take a look at the Trinity Bra. I really love the back of this bra but the front wasn't high enough in the armpits for me. I thought it was a comfortable bra, though, and true to size. It definitely offers coverage if you are busty just not a ton of support.

New Post Power Crop in Dune (? not sure about the color).

Silver luxtreme Power Y, Deep Indigo Slub Presence Pant and Pow Define Jacket.

New Silver and Pow Pink Power Y Tanks.

New Enlightened Pullover in Fossil and Heathered White. Shown with Deep Indigo Wunder Under Pants.

A good photo of the new Deep Indigo slub denim Venus Crop.

The brights are beautiful but, in my opinion, it is ridiculous to buy potential bleeders!!! We have been warned! I am sticking with classic cuts and colors! Returning and babying work out clothes is making me a crazy person. This is just my opinion, of course.

Anonymous said...

Same here, I will pass on the Pow Pink NLT because of bleeding possibilities. Thankfully there's Caspian Blue and maybe purple in the future. :)

I already have a paris pink/grey NLT and it bled the first time I wore it, turned my towel pink. And while it never bled again (so far!), I really don't want to experience that again.

OT: Currant Scuba Hoodies GONE from website. All sizes were in stock <1hr ago. Grrrr! Same thing happened w/WEFS WU crops & Relax Day pullover yesterday. Why are things suddenly disappearing (w/out showing up on WMTM)? Must be the aliens...

Aliens on bath salts apparently...

Seriously, I think...Lulu needs a new design team!! they sh old have fired their design team 3 years ago, far as I'm concerned. I'm tired of seeing 478 different colors of Grooves and the same tanks over and over and OVER again, just different color. I like exclusive items and I rarely own more than 1 or 2 of the same tank in my closet-- if I see a color I like BETTER...I sell the tank I have. It's been over 2 years and I'm getting bored with Lulu styles coming out....I miss the old Be Still pants and Still pants. I miss my Lux hoodies...and still own 2. was offered $250 for one of my Luxs. I wanted a 3rd hoodies, this past summer and was in a designer store....and left with a hoodie, thinner and MUCH NICER than a LUX...for $140 and was "made in the USA!" (Bought in Canada! believe it!) I want unique and unusual pieces and I'm tired of seeing 46 different types of Harem pants. I'm not going to India anytime soon, although a beautiful country! :) Lululemon is really starting to become a clothing company for aliens, because all of their "excuses" are so OUT OF THIS WORLD....STUPID!! In fact, at one point...I was quite the blogger on the Lulu wall, but 6 weeks ago...left their page and unliked it. I was sad...to see everyone so upset with awful.....poor quality. The ugly bantering was both wonderful to see and yet, hard on the head. I'm glad to see people finally standing up for themselves! I'm also starting to "move on" to other addictions and I'm finally looking at Lulu in my rear window, as I drive away. I'm making a clean break! :)

fyi Ride On Rain Jacket in dazzling size 6 on wmtm US site for anyone after one of these...wish I could justify it...Deep Thoughts scarf has made a reappearance in black...I have one and it is awesome, highly recommend, got it at the sale price...

Looks like you'd need to try on the Enlightened Pullover for proper sizing because the shoulders pull down making it look like a "misfit". Or does this ususally happen with this style? Bleh!

Kristin said...

I haven't bought a power Y in awhile but they look MUCH longer! Even the silver one looks longer than the luon one.

Excited for my space dye WUCs arriving tomorrow together with black NLT and black boogies. I'm stocking up on staples before LLL make any 'minor changes' to them 'based on customer feedback'. Plus with so much bleeders out now there's little color to choose from. :-)

Just got a product notification email from my store, which is surprising since they've been few and far between until recently. That's the second one this month, in fact. A new record for them! Anywho, what do I spy but a Caspian Blue NLT! Of course, this has to be the one week I can't get up there until Saturday. I know it's silly but because my husband's away and my cats are used to having him home 24/7 (he works from home) they've been all out of sorts this week. I feel like I should at least stay home with them in the evenings. Hopefully my store won't be sold out in my size by then. I'll call ahead to make sure and make the trek on Saturday. That's the only item I was excited about this week so I'm glad I at least have a chance to nab it.

Sourkraut said...

OT - Has anyone tried and actually liked the Wanderful Flare pants? There are mostly negative reviews on the site but I've seen a few people comment that they only bother to leave reviews when they dislike an item. I suspect a few returns are trickling in as a select size will pop up now and then. I managed to catch it and ordered one in 10, which would be a size up but I know that's sometimes what you've got to do with that denim fabric. I figured I'll try it and if the weird seams or the fit bother me I can always return it. I gave up hope that my store would get this one in. I really want this one to work on me!

Hi. I seem NLT in angel blue on eBay now.
But i don't remember that they were come out in that color....Does anyone remember?
I have one in aruba....

I wore a Paris pink bra for a workout this week and it dyed my skin pink. I guess I was lucky it didn't drip pink dye, but this was after many washings and wearings. I had never had a problem in the past with the "bleeders", but I must say I am very scared to put my new pow pink headband in my blonde hair for a sweaty workout.

Anonymous said...

Those crops are a new color - not Dune. I think Caramel or Cashew is the name? Definitely much more of a true khaki than Dune. I actually saw them yesterday in Studio City - liked the color a lot but not in those pants!

Sharon said...

Hmmm looks like the Pow Pink Power Y is uber-long and stretchy like my Flash Light Power Y...might need to size down in that one. Also I noted that the Blurred Blossoms/Heathered Fossil In Stride jacket has totally disappeared, as others have noted about other products, without showing up in the WMTM section either....strange.

Focus said...

Has anybody seen the backpack yet?

Anonymous said...

At anon 6:20 am - NLT were never made in Angel Blue from what I remember. I think Aruba was one of the first versions to be a in a solid "fun" color (i.e., no black or gray on the circle mesh portion).

Another question, but OT - Were Scoop Necks released in Angel Blue back in the day? I have a scoop neck that I swear is Angel Blue, however I didn't keep the product tag to confirm the color code.

Anonymous said...

I have noticed over the past few weeks that the WMTM section usually receives a major upload on Thursdays & Fridays. Keep checking! Often the items that disappear Tues make an appearance by Friday! Fingers crossed!

My store will hold items for me for 2 hours. Ask if yours will do the same. Worth a try coz a lot if things can happen in 2 hrs.

Omg what if they came out with pow or orange vinyasa scarf?!??!

Yay you!!!

macfrannie said...

Would totally get the Orange Vinyasa scarf.

A shout out to ladies with the rest day pull over (BTW, it is on the Aussie site now) do you find the arms tight? I find the LS Swifty arms uncomfortably tight and the same with the new Manafesto tops. How would you say the arms fit on the pull over? I get my Scubas and Defines in a 10 and find them comfy. Please tell me what you think so the next time these make an appearance I can snatch one up, hopefully in the fossil/grey color.

THANKS!!!!

At anon@7:51
Thank you. That's what i thought but seller told me that it's angel blue.
I have to check on my scoop neck collection when i get home. I do have a couple of light blue one so i have to compare with my angel blue top.
It's not a snorkel blue right?

Help!
Anyone know how the energy bra fits? I'm 8 in tops! But for my breathe deep bra I had to size down!

Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I bet we are right about the things disappearing showing up in WMTM soon...now my question will be whether I want the grey in-stride w/ blurred blossom or the rest day pullover?? I'm leaning toward rest day pullover--any advice on how it fits would be great!!!

And Anon 8:02 you are definitely right but I didn't want to say anything unless it was getting too good to be true :P - seems like there has recently been a consistent Thursday WMTM upload. We will see if it continues tomorrow! I'd actually prefer it if they varied it up a bit...helps all of us frequent checkers to get the best pick of stuff!

Anonymous said...

So everyone agrees that the run rest day pullover was there!!!!!!

macfrannie said...

@ Anon 8:52 RE the Engergy Bra. I wear a 34 dd/ddd (depending on the cup design) or a 36 dd and find the Energy in a 10 to fit fine. I wear between an 8 and a 10 in LLL tops. The ones wi the Built in bras I wear a 10 and the ones without I'll try an 8 and sometimes size up to a 10 if the fit is too tight for my tastes.

I have read others post that the bands in the LLL bras are tight and many ladies size up for comfort. I hope this helps.

@ Anon 9:03, I saw them too. They are currently on the Aussie site at full price. I hope they migrate to WMTM.

Yes, rest day was definitely there bc I have it in black and was considering getting it in another color (think gray was the option).

For sizing: I sized down in this to a 6. I have skinny go-go-gadget arms, small chest (34/36b) and wide, muscular shoulders, 5'8" and 130lbs. I am Lulu size 8 in swift tops, bras, defines (except for the herringbone that ran small, was a 10), scubas, DSJ,tanks, etc.

I am a Lulu 6 in stride jackets, that pullover sweater (came in black and aquamarine, spacing on name), and method wrap, and REST DAY PULLOVER.

And for those that like the measurements thing (take this with a grain of salt, no idea if I did this correctly), think I'm 34-29-34??

I do have skinny-arse arms so they don't seem too tight to me, but have issues with shoulders/armpits cutting and squishing and there is none of that with this top! I love this thing! Thought it might look frumpy on me but I wore it a ton already bc it looks less sloppy then all my no-name hoodies when I work from home.

Hope this is helpful, as you guys have helped me lots in the past!

Two questions:
+Anyone familiar with San Diego's show room and if it's decent selection? I'm heading to civilization for a conference and thought I'd check it out.

+LLA and others - Re the dignity bra, you dislike the armpit cut bc it's too low? Most of Lulu's bras cut into my armpits and I can't wear them. The arise bra is the only one that never bothers me so far (though hoping to try L&S in SD!). Is it cut similar to that in the armpits? Do you not like it low bc you feel exposed or spillage? (I don't have that issue since I'm small chested).

Thanks!!!
vanessa

Sorry, edit that to Energy (sheesh, I can't spell today) and a 36D (my sweater kittens have gotten a bit smaller with my weight loss) I use to be a 36DD. Shopping is much more fun, now that I'm not "bustin' out all over" as my husband so delicately puts it... Have a great Wednesday everyone and may all of your seams be perfect.

Can anyone comment as to the support level of the NLT? Is it similar to that of the Flow Y Bra? (It looks like the bra is most similar to that) I wear a 32E in bra size, and I'm wondering if this tank would be supportive enough for me.

Anonymous said...

Anon at 8:48 AM - You totally read my mind regarding the possibility of it being a Snorkel Blue Scoop Neck. If it's not Angel Blue, then for sure it's Snorkel. I swear though, the scoop neck I have matches my Angel Blue CRB beautifully.

Funny that the seller is confusing Angel Blue and Aruba. I've heard/read about this happening with CRBs, but this is a first for the NLT:).

Curious to hear your findings regarding your light blue scoop necks:). Really appreciate your help too!

hi Vanessa- the sd showroom just moved to a new location (down the street from the old) and I haven't been to the new one, but the old one had a decent selection. they are kind of hit and miss on a variety of colors in certain styles and definitely have a lot more of the basics. it's worth a stop if you're in the area.

I would love to see a comparison of Caspian Blue to Aquamarine.

Rest day pullover!!! I wear a 10 in all LLL except for define and I get a 12. I found a 10 in this to be perfect. Not too tight in arms or anything. Doesn't look to big or small... Just freaking darling! I will be a wee bit bitter if these go on sale! Mine still has tags and it's too hot to wear! I would be happy for you gals though!!!

Side note.... I just went to a local store and got 3 LUCY items.... This seems like a darling brand! I felt like I was betraying LLL, but like the saying goes....there are always more brands (I mean fish) in the sea!!!!

Anonymous said...

Thank you sooooo much macfrannie!

Both of them were me!!!!!!!!! Have a great day!

Amy b said...

? If I have t even received my rest day pullover yet.... It takes forever to reach Oklahoma for some reason, will they adjust the price if you call? Is there a window of price matching? Or do you have to return full priced item to our local store and then rebuy online at sale price?

macfrannie said...

Thanks Amy B! I think I'd stick with my regular 10 then IF it shows back up.

That is a good question about price adjustments. I would like to know that too. What happens if they drop the price before you even recieve your item? would you reorder and just return the full price one to the store but if you do only online and mail order that is a total drag.

Sourkraut said...

Amy b, I had a similar thing happen when I bought some crops. They arrived in the mail the day before they showed up in WMTM. I bought a new pair online but when I went to return the first pair (still within my two-week return window) they offered to let me return and buy them back at the sale price. I asked here and that didn't seem to be standard policy so I wouldn't count on that being an option. Maybe ask your store.

al678, I've never tried the Flow Y so can't compare but I run in my NLT quite comfortably. Keep in mind I'm a wuss so these are short three-mile runs. On a longer run the thin straps might start to dig in but I've worn mine all day casually and didn't feel uncomfortable. The bra has a thick band around the bottom, which helps keep it from sliding up and seems to give an added measure of support. Honestly, aside from the thin straps it feels like a legitimate sports bra. For reference I'm only 34B/C.

Anon 9:48 and 9:56 thanks for the feedback on the SD showroom (and location change, I'll have to hunt it down). Think I'll at least give it a shot if I can make it during their hours since I live far, far, from a store and so haven't tried many typical products on in person (like any of their shorts).

Thanks!!

I tried on the Caspian Blue NLT today, and it's really cute. I didn't buy it because I kind of think I'd prefer the Power Purple version, if in fact that ever comes out (it's on one of the banners on the lll website, so I assume it will eventually). The Pow one is cute, but it's BRIGHT. Also, the whole bleeding thing.

Does anyone know if the Gather and Crow Crops came in Snorkel Blue? I've been trying to figure out what color my pair are for ever!! I also have a CRB in this color. Thanks ladies!

I also would like to hear about the backpack PLEASE!!

As for the Pow NLT, I decided to let someone else care for mine, as with a job that keeps me travelling and working out mostly in hotel gyms, I really do not have the time to pre-wash, soak, cold-no-detergent, hot-hot-detergent, hang-to-dry, and so on. Most of the time I come home to open my lulu packages, and pack them righ up for the next trip. Soooo one more PP NLT for another "lucky" lulufan. Good luck with it!

Thanks to Amy B I ended up with a rest day pullover and love it! I bought it TTS and its not tight in the arms at all. It's really cozy :) If it does come back on WMTM I'll buy another color.

Ran really sweaty recovery miles today with a pow pink headband and no bleeding on my blonde hair :) I know someone above was worried so wanted to give feedback. Hooray!

I bought both the Caspian and Pow NLTs. They are both gorgeous. I recommend both should they be uploaded this coming Monday. Also an Ed at my local store said that the Caspian CRBs should be in store next week. If not it will be the following week for sure. I know some peeps are waiting on it :)

Just ordered the silver power y based on these pics. Def picking up the Caspian blue NLT and maybe the pow (worried it can look too "barbie" with my light blonde hair") and a black NLT for sure. But I also want the caspian CRB! And the new wee caspian WU for sure...and if they come out with currant or the pow stripe ones, I'll be all over that!!

Anyone have any tips for getting rid of the fishy smell? I ripped the tags off a pair of clam diggers and didn't notice the smell until I had them on. I did the smell test before I ripped the tags off and they seemed fine. I aired them outside for the day yesterday and it didn't help.

@ Charlotte

Hi! Please tell me that there is really going to be a wee stripe caspian WU??? I hadn't heard but that would be awesome! Im a blue girl, and love the caspian.

Maybe someone mentioned this earlier, but I just put my new Indigo/Mirage print Inspire crops and Pow/Met Silver Inspire crops up against my solid black ones from 6 months ago and coal/dark purple (forgot the name)/hthrd rose quartz from 3 months ago, and the waistband is a full half inch thinner! The top band on the waist is 2" on the black and coal pairs, and 1 1/2" on the indigo and pow/silver pairs. So I dug out my ray/seaside dot Inspire crops, and the same thing - 1 1/2"!!! Seriously? $86 and they've cut out a 1/2 inch of waistband? I noticed they didn't fit quite as good for some reason, well now I know the reason. I am disgusted and will be returning both new pairs of Inspire crops, and I will let the "educators" know exactly why.

Crash said...

Whoopsie... okay, just went to leave a scathing review on the lulu website for the inspire crops, and evidently I am far from the only one who is fuming over this "design change". Glad to be in good company of other vocal former Inspire-crop lovers!

I just got the currant scuba in the mail and it's going back. The contrasting zipper is really ugly and the color isn't as saturated as I would like. It almost looks faded so I imagine it will look pretty ratty and more faded once it's washed. Definitely doesn't look worth $108, I'll stick with my cheap American Apparel hoodie. I'm hoping the caspian blue scuba is cuter.

Sourkraut said...

Crash, I saw someone post a similar comment on Lulu's Facebook page and their rep responded saying something about how the design was changed because many people complained that the waistband rolled down when running. To fix that they went ahead and lowered the rise. This was followed by the usual pat response about how she'll pass the poster's preference for the original design on. For what that's worth.

Anonymous said...

Holy those run day rest pullovers could sell out faster then the first time ! I was planning to pay full price!

Anonymous said...

I washed mine 3-4 times in the first two days (my baby kept getting spit up on them. I don't notice a smell now. I washed the usual way "hand wash" cycle with phosphate free soap, 20 min air dry cycle, hang to dry the rest.

Anonymous said...

Can someone comment on the difference between Caspian blue and aquamarine? They look totally the same to me...

Anonymous said...

Anon 2:33, I just got my currant scuba in the mail as well and noticed the same thing! The color is not nearly as bright as I had hoped, looks almost faded like it has been washed several times. For a brand new, from the company, full-priced $108 sweatshirt, I expect it to not look USED. Did others notice this as well?? Also, kinda OT, but this is the first online order I have ever received without a lulu bag included. Not that I need any more, just sayin'.... Cutting costs in all areas it appears!

CHARLOTTE BENTLEY said...

Anon 2:00, the caspian wee WU's are on some website pics! I think in bottoms with a pow pink power y. They look really cool, almost like snakeskin! I CAN'T wait to pick them up, they are unlike anything I have and I think they look beautiful with the Caspian blue and the pow pink!!

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 3:16 The aquamarine is just slightly greener. The swiftly tanks are crazy close in color. I compared my Caspian NLT to the waist band of my camo aquamarine speeds to see the difference. HTH!

It's the aliens fault, everyone has a faded currant hoodie!!!! It's definitely NOT Lululemons fault....because they never make any mistakes!! LOL...

@ Anon 9:40... We are the same size. My no limits tank is supportive enough for daily activities/travel... I believe I have a 4 but took off the tag. I do not wear it just to work out because the one time I wore it to piloxing all the jumping made the girls hurt pretty badly. I tend to ONLY like super-high-support for working out though, so if you are a bit more tolerant of movement it may work for you. Absolutely supportive enough for all of my daily activities, biking at the beach and lugging stuff around the airport.

Thank you for your advise. I'll try...hopefully come out.

@Sourkraut: I tried and liked -- and then bought! -- the Wanderful Flare pants. I'm shy when it comes to reviewing, so I haven't posted anything on the LLL site. I did have to size up in the black/gray denim version, so I think your 10s should be perfect! That pattern unfortunately wasn't flattering on me, so I ended up going with the black instead, in my usual Grooves size.

The flare is pretty extreme, but once I had four of the 34 (?) inches hemmed off, they looked great. I do wish the pants had a drawstring, as the waistband slips down a bit; I would've gone down a size, but then I would've had too much muffin-top action. I love the sleek fit-and-flare shape of the pants -- much sharper than the baggy shape of the Grooves (on me, at least :o)). Hope you enjoy your pair of W.F. just as much -- let us know what you think!

Anonymous said...

@ Sourkraut 6:11 AM, I did try on the Wanderful Flare pants in both the regular and black denim. Regular luon was my regular size and denim material I could get away with regular size but felt better in the next size up (have read reviews and recs on different denim items, turns out to be true). I would have to get them hemmed maybe 4" as I'm 5'5" and they are very long! No big deal as hemming is free. I liked the way they fit and I was not bothered by the inside seam/unfinished edge or whatever it's known as. I didn't buy them yet as they are just a nice to have. I really don't need them. I realize they are very popular and I may miss out.

p.s. totally get it about the cats!

@Kathleen
For most of the recent (by recent, I mean the last few years) tanks with bras, the small white size dot can be found inside the left side pocket of the slot for cup insert. Hope this helps, size wise! :)

Sorry to hear that the currant Scubas from the latest batch were not up to standard. I bought mine about a month ago, when a few of this color became available during a "ninja" upload. Mine arrived fresh (not wrinkly) and the red is super red. The zipper is the non metallic kind. Washed it once with no bleeding issue.
Minda and the rest of the gang that managed to get one, how are your currant Scubas, condition wise? I'm curious about their quality. It seems like we are all taking a chance buying online, nowadays. Hoping for the best, but....grrrr somedays. :(

Ingenue said...

2:33 and 3:32 - Same exact problems here. What is the weird "rustic" look to the metal zipper? Is their only way to stop the bleeding problem to make the color faded looking? How are other brands achieving the color red? It is a basic, primary color! I am so disappointed that they could not get this hoodie right. It seems like people who ordered a few weeks ago love theirs, so maybe this batch is from a different factory?

My Wallet = 1 / Lulu Cash Register = 0

I went to my local Montreal store today with high hopes, only to leave with nothing in my hand.

NLT
Not one in the store. I asked the educator about the ETA of this item and he looked at me as though I was from out of space. I then educated him that the rollout of this piece has already begun, to which he said, "OK then... maybe you can come back in 3 - 4 weeks".

Power Y Tank, Pow Pink
1" - 2" inches longer and this could have been a mini dress. I am 5'7".

While I did appreciate the offer for an alteration the fact that the tank would only be ready to enjoy as of next Tuesday, after 7pm, was a turn off.

Venus Crop, Deep Indigo
LOVED the colour, however once I removed the pant in the dressing room I noticed that the material was already pilling in the crotch and inner seams.

I was just reading about the current CURRANTs! I'm sad to hear that they look faded with different zippers. My Currant Scuba is vibrant, fresh and super new with a perfect zipper.

Also - I have to admit this. . . I'm not sure what has happened, but suddenly I'm wanting to just TRY ON the amuse me pants. .. I KNOW! I KNOW!! They are so ugly and so -- EVERYTHING BAD droopy poopy pants. Did my mind melt? LOL They kind of look nice to do cartwheels in. . .*queue circus music*

I'm going to post this comment in a couple of the last posts, to get as much feedback as possible.

Has anyone visited the Central Valley, NY, outlet store? Is it worth it to go there? How are the sales -- decent, or good?

Basically, I'm planning a road trip down there this weekend. It's an 8 hour drive for me, each way, so I want to make sure it's worthwhile. I don't want to drive down to save $10 on a pair of crops.

I called the store today and they said they have a lot of stock right now.

Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated!!!

I was at our showroom (SD) a few weeks ago and the selection was ok. If u want I can email you the product notification when I get it! Carlsbad gets the best selection followed by La Jolla.

@Jamie totally alien laser mind melt! But really---- I've only gotten that scuba and one pow racing crb from online in FOREVER it is OKAY to just TRY these parachutes on! lol -ok and i got inkblot wus, but they are from 40% off rack at Pure Barre! If you have a pb in your town. .. wouldn't hurt to drop in and take a peeksie at their discount rack!! Even if you aren't a client! tomorrow i think i want to inspect these black wu with porcelaine stripe waistband that are on the discount list maybe they have a good weight material and good stitching!

I'm trying to recall when everyone started noticing the really bad stitching as well as the triangle gussets.

@yogibabe - yay August baby! Let us know so we can all do the dance of joy!

Sooooo disappointed to hear that this latest lot of Currant Scubas is crap quality! This was my fist Scuba purchase ever and its going to be an expensive International return if I have to send it back. Wish I hadn't ordered one :(

@Anon 7:44pm - I ordered a Bliss bag before and it came with the small shopper. Haha! If I order a yoga mat will they send me the small one again?

@Kristin and Minda

Watch out, Minda! You have two full blown Leos to content with. :) Our birthdays are two days apart, Kristin. Mine is Aug 5th! Maybe I'll just get a pair of Fryes, to be socialble with you two! ;)

Kristin, you have the original release of the currant Scuba, (December 2011 or such...)right? I take it that yours is like mine, Minda's, macfrannie's and all that got it during the ninja upload. It's a bummer that these new ones are terrible! :( For those of you who are mailing it back, I would call GEC and request that they pay the shipping charges. I've managed to get them send me shipping label for the super see through luon light mirage Power Y because it is not as pictured as the one on the website. I was very nice, but firm with them. They gave me the free shipping back, no problem. It's worth a try, anyway.

In regards to the shopping bags with purchase. I've ordered two pairs of free bra cups. The cups arrived in a nice manifesto square cardboard box, with the large bag. Packed better than my real, much more expensive orders, that came in the plastic bags!

Indeed I have. It's part of the Woodbury outlets just north of the city. They have lots of different things - most of which you've seen recently on WMTM. It's fun though to try on the styles that didn't make it. There is some sort of recent stuff, but nothing current -current. At least not when I was there. Yes, it's worth the trip. The store is set up by sizes, not by items, so you don't have to search high and low for your size. The sales staff are every bit as helpful in this store as the other ones. The prices are lower here than they are on WMTM, snd there's more selection in size snd color. I'm going back before the summer is out, for sure.

Luckily, I've only had to return 1 item back to LLL and they were pretty nice about it. Actually, I didn't even ask about a refund or return. I just sent them an email detailing the damage along with pictures expressing my disappointment with the item.

Their immediate response was to offer a full refund and free return shipping - they arranged for FedEx to pick up my return package. It was a final-sale, month-old item with international shipping too.

Anyway, just wanted to share a good GEC experience for a change. :)

Jamie B! I heard about full store coming and asked our store gals also. They said they can't find a good location, but after OKC opens their showroom very soon... They already have prime real estate available for a full store. And they could beat us to it if we don't have any available place. And that would be it for oklahoma. :( I am praying we get it!!!!
Also... I branched out today and get 4 LUCY items next door at Movement!!! Gosh that stuff is super cute!!!! I felt like I was cheating, but it was super fun!!!!

My daughter is 32dd and she has to size up. I am 34 b and wear a 4. It is light support for me which means I don't wear it for intense cardio exercises but for yoga it's perfect - and it's made for that. My daughter says side boobs are a problem with a 4. She is a 6 in NLT.

That white manifesto cardboard box is what we international shoppers always receive our orders in, regardless of how small the item is.

I am so glad I didn't pull the trigger on the Currant Scuba this time. I missed my size a month ago and after all the great reviews here I was about to snap it up this time but the off color zipper kept bothering me.

Did get the Pow Pink NLT - taking a risk with bleeding since it is so cute :D also hoping the Purple will show up in my store.

I don't understand the Power Y redesign - I'm 5'9 and very long in the torso and the new ones are way long on me? They also seem bigger/baggier but I can't go down a size or it won't cover my chest?

As another int'l customer in Western Europe, I've had a similar experience. Ordered the it's a cinch dress or whatever it's named, and when it arrived with white spots on the fabric, I sent pictures and the GEC had FedEx come to my house to pick it up with a pre paid label. From my experience buying online for about two years now, the GEC is rather helpful and ready to assist whenever I encounter a problem with an order/item. I can't say I have had a bad experience with the GEC.

@ anon 6:23 am - I'd wash that Pow Swiftly headband before you workout in it. My Flash one bled pink down my face the first time I ran it in. After I washed it, no problems but a big oopsie the first time. I have an Ultraviolet one, too, and that didn't give me any problems but Flash is just deadly. Better to be safe with the Pow.

@ Vanessa - I disliked the armpits in the trinity bra because of spillage. I am rather large chested.

Yup, I ordered a currant scuba the moment they went live THIS time around and immediately posted here on the blog about seeing the diff images w/ the "new" darker metal zipper and baggier fit across the chest, but I guess my comment was just lost in all the comments. Glad that others have noticed it-- not just me.

Sure enough. Just got mine today and I am seriously really really bummed out. It looks faded due to repeated washings. The zipper is indeed a darker metal. Not the same vibrant currant as the ninja load and definitely not that gorgeous red zipper.

My fiancé bought this for me as a birthday present (esp since we'll be married on my birthday) and we are both really disappointed that we'll be returning what would have been an amazing gift. :(

Anyone wanting to offload their "ninja" currant size 4 scuba? :D :D :D

I just got my space dye WUC and I must say that I love them! :)

They're really soft and comfy, not scratchy at all and I don't see the 'shine' people were talking about. They look to be made of thinner Luon but sheerness is not a problem because of the print. Triangle gusset but good thing I don't have any CT issues with that shape.

Sounds like the international customers have fewer issues with GEC, because I too had a positive response. Am returning my bonded seam turbos with the bleeding flash liner, and had no issues with refunds or LLL agreeing to cover my international return shipping, despite it being way beyond the return period. Seems a shame that this standard of service is not applied consistently to US or Canada customers.

Minda said...

I hope the international friends get everything sorted quickly and with full refunds. It is getting harder to review lulu items because of that bad and good batch factor.
I'm bummed about that one poster who bought the currant scuba internationally and it might be a bust with high return ship. And she bought it because of great reviews here! I know I've been a currant scuba promoter!
It's a bummer because I rely on people's opinions of quality and fit here too. Blah! Sorry!

Ugh! Just woke up thinking how excited I was that my currant scuba would be arriving today. Now after reading about it's disappointing appearance, I'm already planning my trip down to King of Prussia to return it. Bummer. Currant was my favorite lulu color too! Oh well. Those scubas will either be in an outlet or on WMTM soon.
Received my Pow define yesterday and seams look perfect. Of course I still have possible bleeding to contend with...
Wanted to chime in on shoppers too. Yesterday's define package had NO shopper, bought tank about a month back and received a LARGE shopper, and bought a tote bag off of WMTM and had SMALL shopper in that order. Too funny. I don't care if they leave out the small ones because I have more than I know what to do with, but they definitely seem like an afterthought.

@ yogibabe,

Yes, my currant scuba is from Dec 11. I love it. The color is gorgeous and not faded. The zipper is red like the material, not silver. I am soooo sorry that the 2nd batch of scubas are terrible. I wonder why this batch is completely different from the first ninja upload?? That is really really weird. It's not like currant is a new shade. BTW, our bdays are right around the corner!! woohoo. Another excuse to spend $ on myself! LOL.

@Amy B, we can't let them steal our store!!! Although, it would probably be better for my wallet if it were in OKC. I'd made the drive as often as I could justify.

Hi.It is interesting....i do have a angel blue define jacket and i have a angel blue scoop neck tank!!! And i compared with my snorkel blue with black neck line scoop neck is much much more darker color.
