New Perfect Layer Tee print in Textured Chevron. Shown in purple and deep cranberry. Also coming in black and white. (Thanks to Lindsey for the middle photo.)
Bad print! Really quite awful! As if all the stripes aren't bad enough, now the bad striping is zig-zagged. What colors are being ruined in this style/print? Is this currant and one of the existing purples (bruised berry or pow purple or dense purple) or are these different colors?
Nope, Old Navy clearance...they have a few chevron patterned tops left. So, LLL's style is about three months too late. The LLL designers either try to be ahead of the curve (a la Milan, Paris, etc., runways that no normal person wears or sees), or significantly behind the times (a la MCHammer parachute/drop crotch pants). What's next, gold lame and zebra print? I'm waiting for a few key LLL pieces (yoga camp crop, scoop me up tank, optimal tank, and/or CRB) to go on MD and then it's "peace out" to LLL...my closet it pretty well stocked with old and some new LLL, and i'm liking BY and Zella more and more.
This top is a super scoop neck while the other new top has a neckline that is way too high. Make up your mind lulu with all the extreme styling. What about finding the happy median?
I tried this on at the store in the dotted. I really liked it. So soft and it drapes down so no clinging which is usually a good thing for me. I don't know price wise if I would pay that much for it. I got one from BY only sleeveless for $19. I have to say though that if I own a comparable Lulu I will reach for it first. Pass for me but I think the chevron is cute. A la Missoni. I have surprised myself before.
Pink Peony, I'm the same way...have lots of workout clothing from LLL and other companies but I ALWAYS grab the Lulu first, making me wonder why I bother with the others at all. I bought some cute BY leggings, tanks and pants from Gap, but I only wear if all my Lulu is dirty or I don't have anything else to match. It just fits the best.
I actually like the pattern, but I am sure it is way more $ than I would be willing to pay for a light tshirt though.
Me, too! I really only use my LLL. The few things from Gap, Nike, Under Armour, etc. just don't fit as well and the fabrics are not as nice. They are fine if you don't want to pay higher prices, though.

@ Anon. 11:55 am -- I saw the same ones at superstore yesterday and I bought a grey one (similar to fossil) - it was $12! It's not a chevron pattern, but it's sort of geometric looking shapes/triangles/lines. I bought it because I have the seaside dot layer tee from LLL and I love it for wearing over CRBs, but I wanted a cheap alternative!
I have to use my Lulus since I have so many of them. I can't possibly buy too much anymore from another company. I can understand if you are just starting your "collection" to gather what you think works for you. I will buy it if I can use it for running around. The splits59 Helena will be used a lot since I am very cold natured and I always use a cover up. I use my meditate pullover and Iconic wrap all the time. I'm ready for another wrap since I like them so much.
I got the cruiser shorts (WMTM) in the mail . They are definitely short, for my age specially. I'll use them for pajamas. They are soft. Softness always gets me to buy whatever.

At superstore this morning, saw something similar in the Joe Fresh line. Price was between 10-19.00. Lots of different colours

I always reach for my WUC sapce dye, or WU black wee, or Splits59 dusty. those are my GO TO ROOS!
