Photo: Pow Light Swiftly vs. Paris Pink Swiftly Tanks

A photo showing the Pow Light Swiftly tank (left) next to the Paris Pink Swiftly. Also, Pow Light matches the old Pow as far as Swiftly colors go. (Thanks to Mandy for her photo and pink expertise.)

Is the pow light in the swiftly going to bleed? Anyone know? I really want to get it but not if it bleeds.

My Ray Swiftly tank has not bled yet.... It was washed prior to running in it. Got pretty sweaty too. Hope as well that Pow Pink will be ok since I ordered it and am looking forward to that beautiful pink !

The Pow Pink and Pop Orange CRBs aren't very nice. They both got delivered to me today and they're scratchy, not soft at all. And they both smell like chemicals, especially the pink one. It stinks!

Laura,

If your CRB's are a size 4 and you're not sure if you want them, I'd buy them off you (;

They're an 8, sorry!

Off topic but has anyone tried the wandering yogi halter? How's the fit?

I found it strange. I'm a TTS 8, but it just made me have lovely back fat, even when I sized up. :/ Too bad because it's cute!

Hi Laura - I visited my store and felt both the Pow and Pop CRB's. I thought the same thing..they are scratchy! It is such a shame because so many of my older luon crb's ( and I'm talking rocksteady...not that long ago) are so soft! Come on!

OT - I think I just saw a Run For Your Money tank in mirage print on Instagram (not LLL profile, was stalking the #lululemon hashtag). Looks cute but would love to know how it feels. I've been reading that the print can feel plastic-y.

@ Laura....

OH ! I was hoping the Pow Pink crb would be nice and soft. And it's sticky on top of that !! Wow ! What's going on ???

I guess it will be going back. Thankfully I can return it in a store near me. I would not want to be one of those people having to pay to ship things back ! I would be really unhappy about having to pay to ship back for poor quality. :(

The flash light CRBs from just a few weeks ago were incredibly soft! I didn't get one because I already have a flash swiftly sl and in the swiftly fabric flash is almost identical to flash light luon. I did however get the flash light define and just wore it at my office today (Had to work July 4th, but at least got to wear Lulu at the office:). The define is also incredibly soft. I really don't understand why different colored luon can feel so drastically different. So strange to me! I have never worn another brand of clothing that allowed such inconsistency among items with the same name just different colors.

I ordered the Pow Pink Light swiftly tank so I will let you know if it bleeds when I receive it. I have the pop orange and it did not bleed. Here's hoping!! :)

I tried the wandering yogi halter and it felt TTS. I liked it except for the four strings tied in a knot on my neck :(

The strings bothered me too so I tucked one of them back behind the knot, sewed it, then snipped off the excess long string. Now I only one string on either side to tie behind my neck.

I'm glad I have a great stock of CRB's (porcelaine was my last one) that I can count on. Comements on the new stock not giving me confidence to buy more of them.

I'm glad to know in advance that the Pow Pink crb is scratchy. I ordered it and was really looking forward to it coming next week. Now I won't get my hopes up and will mentally prepare to send it back. A scratchy crb is unacceptable when they are capable of making buttery soft ones.

Prints can feel plasticky due to the higher polyester content needed in order to have good print quality, same with heathered sometimes. Check the tags, white and prints and you will see the higher polyester content which accounts for the tougher hand feel

It's surprising to hear that the pow pink CRB is scratchy, because haven't people commented that the pow pink scoop me up tank is really soft? And I have the the pow pink WUC, and they are really soft and comfy. Aren't they all luon?

Just received my upload order...pow pink crb is scratchy, pop orange crb not as scratchy but not super soft. Pop orange power y is yummy soft though!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Ohhhh glad to hear on the pop power y. Now I have something really exciting to look forward to! :)

Anonymous said...

Is the Power Y in Pop Orange transparent/ see thru ? Thanks.

Anonymous said...

Power y in pop is luon light so fabric is thinner but I don't think it looks see thru. Beautiful color and really soft

I just tried on the pop orange and it feels soft just like the flash light and ray crb. Are you sure you didn't feel the healthered? This is odd :/

I tried on the pop orange crb today at my local store and it felt nice to me. I'm not a big fan of orange typically, but I may order one anyway. I tried it on with a black 50 rep bra and it didn't seem sheer either.

I did, however, love the pow pink light swiftly tank. I bought the last size 4 in my local store and a fellow shopper picked up the last size 6 also. I had been kicking myself for a while about missing out on the paris pink swiftly tank but not anymore :)

8:26 -- The scoop me up in pink is definitely very soft, far softer than the other color scoops. Maybe the CRB isn't Luon?

I got a pow swiftly today and washed twice with shout color catchers...no bleeding either time. I am hoping it won't bleed when I work out in it, but will probably go with a black sports bra the first time to be safe. Really stupid to even have to worry about it!!

UPDATE: I received my pow pink CRB and it definitely feels very different from my flash light and ray CRB.
It is more polyester feeling like the tanks with the dot prints BUT I also noticed the tags for the Ray and Flash Light say they are made in Cambodia and the Pow Pink CRB says it is made in Canada. ALL CRBs say they are the same content, 92% Nylon and 8% Spandex... my only guess is that where they are made (Cambodia vs Canada) is accounting for the difference.
I am going to keep my Pow Pink tank even though it is not as soft because quality wise it feels like it will hold up better. I noticed the seams where the fabric is folded over (arm holes and neck) seem like they are sewn flatter and don't bubble as much. Oh and I was only able to find the size 4 at 3 am one night... it was the only size left and popped up mysteriously... lol. I am going to post a review on LLL with a picture of the tags (one saying made in cambodia and the other canada) since I can post a pic there.

I got my local store notification today that said they have the run for your money tank in the mirage print

Has anyone gotten the cover it all dress yet? Wondering how the sizing runs?
