Spotted in Australia - Twisted Stripe Pow Pink Hat & Pacesetter Skirt

Ooh! A Go the Distance Hat in the new pink stripe. I'm guessing TSPP stands for Twisted Stripe Pow Pink but I'm not sure. I think I might need this hat when it gets here. (Thanks to LiJoo for the photos.)

There is also a new Pacesetter Skirt coming in this pattern, too.

Oh goodness, I foresee one EXPENSIVE month to come, I want so many things in the latest product drops and sneak previews!!

What's the skirt/ shorts under the pacesetter skirt? Is that Potion Purple?!?!?!

Anonymous said...

Have to share a good experience, for a change. I was in the store the other day and mentioned that I have 2 pairs of Run in the Sun shorts that really bother me beacause the waistband stitching is exposed and itchy. The salesgirl told me to bring them back, even though the tags are off. I did, and gota full refund, no receipts or anything! That is service!

@Anon 7:41- that's awesome! Glad some good customer service is happening at some stores!

I am in love with Twisted Stripe Pow Pink- a bleeder for sure, but here's hoping I'm wrong. Would love a tank in that print.

Anonymous said...

I love the new print in the Pacesetter skirt but I really hope when this uploads online they restock the skirt in black. Oh and that they come in Tall version.

Anonymous said...

OT: anyone else super excited about the red that weve been getting sneak peeks of?

LOOOVE the new pink stripe hat!!!!

pass for me too...thankfully cuz my wallet needs a big big break

macfrannie said...

I want that pink stripe in the speed shorts. Me likey.

OT-is it me or does it seem that all of the sudden there isn't much ray stock available at all? Particularly stock in items that are known bleeders (eg regular CRBs)? Maybe I haven't been paying attention. Always a possibility.

@anon 7:55pm
I am SUPER excited about the red and this Twisted Stripe Pink. It would be too awesome for a TSPP WU crop!!! ;P

Anonymous said...

I'm really hoping there will be a CRB in this pattern, so pretty!

OT...is it time to give up hope that we'll see the BB CRB online? What mean games Lulu plays with us. I feel like one of those really sweet, loving girlfriends who stays with the guy who treats her like crap!

macfrannie said...

LOL. agree. I feel incredibly co-dependent.

Anonymous said...

That skirt is MINE!

Anonymous said...

i dont like how the lines on that hat are not equal on both sides. they seemed too lazy to match up the print. i can pass

anon 9:12 - oooh, made me do a double-take. That looks really shoddy!

LOVE this new pink stripe! Especially in a skirt - I have so many black skirts that it'll be nice to get something vibrant!

Minda said...

Anon 8:21! Dump his @$$. Well only if he won't cough up that BB top!
Heheeee I feel like the trampiest of tramparellees! Lots of people are so devoted to one brand. Not me! I go all over! To several brands taking what I want when I want and leaving the rest! Muhahaha!

Any bets being placed on how many of our lovely blonde friends will be suddenly making punk rock statements with pink hair from this hat?!!

LoveLulu said...

I didn't get anything from the last upload and now very tempted to get a pair of BY pink leggings (a good alternative from the pink bleeders in LLL) & Karma top... BUT! I also want to wait and see if the purple NLT and new WUC get uploaded next week!

Signed, confused and torn between labels...

Anonymous said...

Lol Minda... I thought exactly the same thing when I saw that hat!

Anonymous said...

I totally agree with the abusive boyfriend comment! I find I'm not happy with the current quality, but then I see it's still better than my old brands, so I keep it.

Anyone had trouble with a return? I shipped back two orders together last month, and only had one credited back. It's been two weeks...

Anonymous said...

OT they have a deep thoughts scarf on WMTM if anyone is interested...i really wanted that scarf but $78 was too much for me to pay - it is $49 now.

Anonymous said...

i wanted to get BB in free to be bra - is that a bleeder?

NicoleC said...

Anon 12:34am I shipped two returns back from two different orders together a few months ago and only ever got refunded for one. There was no way for me to prove the second item was in the same package...

Anonymous said...

I have done that, sent items from different orders back together in one package. I have had no problems with all the items being accounted for at their return center.
I send the items from each order packed in one plastic bag (same it came in) and with the corresponding return receipt I printed out. Seal it and then, I put all the bags together (each one with its paperwork) together in a small box. And get one tracking.

I make sure the GEC KNOWS what's inside the box, before they receive it. I always email the GEC. Then I have something on paper, a name and a date, so I can keep it in my records. Phone calls are just words, nothing tangible I can hold on to, to be use "against" them. :0

Anonymous said...

PS. When you mail something out, your receipt should almost always state the weight of the parcel. If you have it, that could also help you, to prove there was "more weight" in the package, than the item(s) they are acknowledging and refunding you for. Also, you could take picts of the content of the box before you mail it out. Keep them until you are refunded. It only takes a minute and can help you get all of your money back.

I'm so tired of companies trying to play smart and rip me off, that I am very cautios nowadays whe everything I order and I return.

Minda said...

@Lovelulu hi there! I saw you posted being interested in the BY pink leggings. Thought I would give you heads up tha someone posted pics and the back was see through :(. I've never personally had see through issues with by. But just so you can consider maybe holdin put for your NLT I want to still get those pink leggings. Then again I like to wear bum covering tank tops and nude or pastel thing undies with the lighter colored leggings. Okay. Take care and best of luck deciding!

LoveLulu said...

@Minda - thanks for the heads up! Sad to hear about the sheerness issue. I guess it's just not LLL then. :-(

Decided to wait for the next upload. My reasoning was that LLL stuff sell out so fast (esp seasonal items and popular colors) while BY is pretty reliable in keeping their products in stock so BY can definitely wait. But then I go through this same evil cycle when I see something I like from sneak peeks of LLL's upcoming stock. Evil evil cycle.

Anonymous said...

Checking the weight is a great idea, I'll try to use that as "evidence". I did (or tried to) wrap the items from each together, included both invoices, but did not take photos nor email prior to sending. I'm not getting credit for a tatatamer, hot but not, and shorts. I think that would be enough for me to be done. Ordered online for years, first return :/
Thanks for you ideas!

just got my order in from a few uploads ago... and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Om pants. They are SO comfy and so silky smooth! I am definitely buying them in another color... maybe two more colors!!! Highly recommend these!

Every time Lulu comes out with another pink or pastel color a sad girl in NJ cries herself to sleep at night. I hope they feel guilty for what they're doing to me.

Alright, I'm exaggerating. But my purchases have been few and far between ever since concord grape and porcelain were taken out of circulation. I went to my store yesterday to try on some of the tanks that I'm itching to own (loved the Hot But Not) but when I left without purchasing anything I was honest and told the girl who'd helped me out that none of the colors were to my liking. She didn't seem surprised at all so I guess I'm not the only one holding out for other shades and colors. If Lulu keeps this up and the only new colors are more pinks I might have to give up and figure out how to become a girly girl. Let's hope it doesn't actually come to that.

Slightly OT - I have the Ray CRB and it has not bled for me - I've worn and washed it (in cold) twice. Is this unusual? Is it bleeding for most people?

Anonymous said...

do BB bras bleed? really want a BB bra, but afraid they bleed as the color is so rich :( ... does anyone have any info? My flash inner heart is still bleeding everytime i wash it but it doesn't bleed on clothes when i sweat - weird!

Anonymous said...

Anon 7:48 AM - What detergent do you use? I use 7th Generation and I only had one problem with bleeding for a Lulu item (the blurred blossom pacesetter which had a flash waistband). I have tons of Lulu colors (concord grape, pig pink, flash/dune, flash, blurred blossom, wafs april, menthol, bruised berry, pow pink, pop orange, aquamarine, pink quartz, etc. No bleeding on any items whether I was sweating in them or washing them in the laundry.

Sophia said...

I have a BB flow y (Luon) and no bleed. However, I bought a pair of BB luxtreme shorts and they were bad bleeders, as well a the BB luxtreme waistband on a skirt. If you like the flow y bras, go for it. But I wouldn't risk getting the free to be

Katie said...

Couple things: 1- my lulu store has excellent customer service! They will take back any defective merchandise no questions.

2- my pink BY leggings are going back today as yes, they are see-through. Same size I wear in all BY and have never had this problem.

3- BAHAHA Minda I thought the same thing about the hat!

Anonymous said...

Hi anon 8:15. I actually wash it by hand :( with very mild soap, and i soaked it in cold water for several hours prior to first wear and the water was so pink! (actually the bra lost some of the rich flash color after the soak - it is a bit duller now but still bleeds).
i will try 7th generation as i do use it for my regular laundry! thanks!

Anonymous said...

Hi,
does anyone own deep thoughts scarf? is it nice? it looks so cute on the website but i am far away from the store to see it live and you can't return WMTM items..any opinions? thanks

Anonymous said...

Hi,
So for the bra's it seems that luon doesn't bleed and luxtreme bras do?
The other questions is kind of weird but i gotta ask ; does free to be bra in metalic silver bleeds? - does any metalic silver items bleed or is it just the BB and flash?
i love the way free to be bras look (the back of them) and i am just thinking what is the safe color! thanks!!!

Laurie said...

I have the Metallic Silver Free to Be bra and haven't had any bleeding problems (: Also have it in Wild Lime and no problems with it either. I have a BB coming in the mail, so hopefully it will follow suit and be good and not bleed.

I'm a 32C and wear a size 6. I have one in a size 4 but it's a little tight and makes me look more flat chested.

Good luck (:

Anonymous said...

Hi Anon 9:18 thanks for the info - going to go today get a metallic silver free to be bra after work - yay! is wild lime an old color ?- i haven't seen that one - sound fun!

Anonymous said...

On a prior post (I'm too lazy to go and find it) a commenter reposted a comment from the lulu website. They said that they changed the gusset on bottoms from oval to triangle because from feedback, etc people wanted one that was less visible. Hey lulu, how about you stop using contrasting stitching instead? Sure, my power purple WU crops look good with the contrasting dark stitching, but now I'm stuck with a very visible triangle right over my crotch. It's like, "Hello, crotch triangle!"

Anonymous said...

OT i just got zobha capris (they had a sale on them at $38.99) - and while the color is nice and the capris are pretty soft lululemon WU capris are so much better (they feel like they were tailor made for you)! darn lulu spoiled me for capri's forever!

sophia said...

@Anon 9:04 - i'm very choosy about my detergent. i always use either method free & clear or 7th generation free and clear. i've never had bleeding problems *in the wash* - and i admit to washing ALL my clothes (even whites) together with my neon lulu (scandalous!). HOWEVER, it hasn't stopped the bleeding-while-sweating issue. so changing detergent might cure your laundry-bleeding, but i wouldn't count on it to cure workout-bleeding. (plus, both method and 7th generation are plant based - no chemical based - and good for the planet! and it's nice to know you're not wearing chemical infused clothes around all day (: )

OT - just saw a bunch of new Every Yogi Tees at my local (nyc) store. haven't people been hoping that they'll bring them back for a while?

Anonymous said...

Hi Sophia,
I will be heading to NYC store on 66street - is that the store you saw every yogi tee at?

Anonymous said...

@ ANON 9:05. I tried on the deep thoughts scarf in store. It is really nice! I didn't purchase it then because of price but now that its on WMTM I ordered! It can be worn many ways and the zip pocket can hold id/chapstick/key. Great for summer evenings!

Minda said...

OT from the pink hat - but I had to share that I picked up a really awesome pair of inkblot full WU leggings for 40% off at my Pure Barre shop today! They are so fun!

@Anon 9:50-
Union Square...they were by all the run stuff. though if one nyc store has them, they probably all have them

Well I'm happy to report that my Pow Pink Scoop Me Up tank did not bleed today. I always wash all/any/every clothing before wearing. I washed the tank alone first and did not see any dye in the water. I'm also a heavy sweater. Wore the tank to a power class then yoga with white and fossil bottoms. All is safe!
Also, I really like the tank design. Did not pull my neck as some reviewers have reported and it provided as much coverage in front as the scoop neck. For reference, I'm a 34C and purchased the 6. I also like the length in the back to wear over my WU and it did not bunch up with my Turbos. Very happy!

A bleeding story. Yesterday I ran a 10k and it was really hot. It was in neighborhoods so nice people would hose you as you ran past and I was also dumping cups of water on myself while wearing my Paris pink swiftly tank. I had gotten a race shirt when I got there and had no place to put it so I tucked it on my pants and used it as a towel as I ran. When I got home and looked at the shirt I noticed its now a lovely shade of pink. Needless to say I'm not thrilled Paris pink can't hold up! I've never had any issues with lll til now. A little hesitant to get the pow pink swiftly tank!

Anonymous said...

My metallic silver free to be bra doesn't bleed and I've done some hardcore sweating in it :)

Anonymous said...

I love my ink patterned WU leggings!!! I bought them at full price but they've gotten a lot of wear and I've gotten tons of compliments on them. They're so cute with bright tops! Enjoy them minda!

Minda said...

Thanks Anon 12:49!! I was just wondering what tops I would wear with them!! I don't have a lot of navy or white. But I wasn't thinking when I got them- just that OOOHHH full INKblot 40% off NEED!
- I want to wear them to my spin class LOL. they turn off the lights and turn on black lights so whites GLOW like crazy same with orange pink and yellow neon types LOLOL

? For u all! My showroom is getting indigo run inspires. Have they already come and gone... Or are these new?

Anonymous said...

I'd love another running skirt, but I'm not sure I want to buy another pink item from lulu at this point. But is that particular combination of fabrics likely to bleed?

Kristin said...

Why don't the stripes line-up at the seam on the hat? I do like the pattern but won't be purchasing any pink items. Very skeptical of bleeding issues. I have stayed away from brights bc of this issue and have been fairly lucky.

yogibabe said...

@Minda
Welcome aboard the Inkblot boat, (say that three times, fast!). I have both the WU pants that you just bought, and the Yin To You crop, with the heathered deep indigo skirt attached. I wore my Paris Pink, Ray, Flash and of course Deep Indigo and White tops, when I want to be subtle (on top, anyway!) When I'm feeling really wild, I wear my Yin To You with my Inkblot Power Y! The deep indigo skirt breaks the pattern nicely but it"s craaazy!!! Love it. :)

Anonymous said...

OT - speaking of Yin To You crops, do you guys think it'll come back? I love the style but missed it the last time (fairly new to LLL craze). I saw some on eBay and they're pricey but if they're not likely to come back...

I like that hat!

I fell for the Perfect Layer Tee today. I am so not a $58 T-shirt person, but it was soooo soft and I loved the dot pattern (not on all of them). I know I could probably find something like this for way less at the mall somewhere, but I don't really spend a lot of time shopping and haven't seen something quite like this.

It's definitely a size-down, akin to the Every Yogi Tees.

Also, TONS of markdowns today at my store. It felt like 75% of the store was MD. Way fun.

Anonymous said...

hi anon 6:14...great for you!!! what store were you at? what state?
i was at NYC store and there was hardly any MD :(

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 12:34/6:02 AM, that's brutal you not getting credit for 2 returns in one package that you shipped back. What's the problem if you completed the paperwork (attached to your account) and sent back the packing slips?

Anon 9:23, Wild Lime is an old color. Not that old though, I got if from wmtm this Spring. It is in the spirit of 'ray' but MUCH more toned down and not neon. I've had no issues with my WL CRB.

The pink hat - what gives with the stripes not being aligned? They did it for the speed shorts in the 'twisted stripe fossil/white/metallic silver' as currently shown on-line. Can't imagine the stripes on the shorts being all askew, that would not bode well.

Laundry...I use good old liquid tide. CRB's go in a net bag and washed in the machine in cold.

Anonymous said...

Dammit! I'm between a 4 and 6 and I ordered the layer tee in a 6. Now I'm reading all of these size down reviews :( I went with the 6 because the description says it's body skimming. Does anyone know how much of a size difference there is between each size? The size 4 in the full expression fits me perfectly. I went with the 4 on that one because the description says loose.

Anonymous said...

Minda, you're getting me thinking I need those inkblot leggings, after I've resisted them for so long (polyester) -- even at 30 percent off. Might succumb tonight.

I loved the deep thoughts scarf at first try-on -- but not $78 love. I plan to buy both on MD tonight. Woohoo! Didn't think they'd go on sale until winter. So soft and elegant. I hope they make more vinyasas, though -- especially bruised berry.

Jamie Barba said...

OT - totally annoyed over here....I ordered an Adjust Me Bra from WMTM on 6/28 (last Thurs), and it still isn't here yet! I tracked my order, and it looks like it should come tomorrow, but good grief, that seems like a long time to get from WA to OK! My order I placed last Tues came Friday! Guess it's all about timing!! I think I placed it later in the day, rather than 4:45 am like I do on Tuesdays & there was a weekend & 4th of July in there to make it take longer! On the other hand, how blessed am I that I have time to worry about how long it takes for my LLL bra to get to me. (or should that say crazy?)

Anonymous said...

FYI I saw the BB CRB at my yoga studio tonight! They just got it in yesterday. It's super cute in person.

LuluAddict said...

@ Sophia - what colors did they have in the Every Yogi tees? Any prints (i.e., stripes) or patterns? I really love the Every Yogi.

@ Minda and others. I love the Inkblot print. I hate the Every Yogi tee and tank in it. Just love.

LoveLulu said...

I finally got my order from last Friday. Tracking said it would be delivered on Monday so early delivery is YEY! :)

Anyway, I have to say that I love the Scoop Me Up tank. I got the deep indigo color in my regular size and could probably size up (thanks to the adjustable band) for a less fitted waist. I love the bum covering length and the bust line falls just right below the ladies.

I also got the Fast & Free crop with the flash light waist. But with all the bleeding issues coming out, I'm worried. Anyone have problems with flash light bleeding for Fast & Free crops?
