Spotted in Stores - Pow Light No Limit Tank

Grrr, another cute new tank spotted in a strategic partner store - a new Pow Light No Limit tank. I'm starting to get annoyed some really cute new items are showing up first (only?) in Strategic Partner stores. I refuse to chase lulu items. (Thanks to Rachelle for the photo.)

Lulu is too greedy and pow pink is too popular of a color to only sell the NL in strategic stores. I'm sure we will see it in stores or uploaded this week.

OMG!!! Like a dream come true ! :) LOVE THIS NO LIMIT POW PINK TANK !!! This will be mine ! Hoping the style has not been "modified" and a "no bleeder" or any other defects that we have seen lately !

What are strategic partner stores? Maybe a silly question.. But I live in a small town, the nearest lulu store is 4 hours away in Kelowna, BC so I buy all my items online. Are there other stores besides lulu that are allowed to sell lulu items?

I know, I hate how they do that! I'm also irritated that they release numerous tops in the same colorway over an extended period of time. I know that is their thing and that is just what they do, but it kind of sucks because you never know if they will release the top you want in the color you want, so we end up jumping on the first item we see in those colors!
For example, the Caspian Blue is now on my wishlist, and while I do want the Swiftly, I'd also love it in a Power Y or something and would prefer to get that style. I don't want to wait in hopes that they'll release it in the styles I want, as the first items may sell out, so I'll end up getting whatever it first comes out in. But I don't need 6 tops in the same color!

The strategic stores are places like yoga/pilates studios that sell some Lulu pieces. If you look on Lulu's website, http://www.lululemon.com/dealers you can see if there's one near you. Sometimes they have a big selection and sometimes a little. Sometimes they have the newest and sometimes older stuff that's hard to find (like I just found a method wrap at one in wyoming). Good luck!

I just got back from camping and hiking the past 4 days and wanted to say thanks to whoever posted about the currant scubas restock!! I am very excited to get one of these - I basically wear black or gray, maybe indigo but a true red once in a while I can handle. Hopefully a scuba isn't too much red!

Also, Sourkraut I think, thanks very much for confirming the existence of lift and separate bra in B cups in stores - I will try to get my hands on one - yayyyy!!

Btw, wore a long sleeve swiftly I picked up cheap on eBay to hike the Narrows in Zion national park, and it held up great. I didn't care about snags (though amazingly I didn't get any) because I bought it cheaply, but it protected me well from sun, scrapes, and dried quickly so I wasnt cold in the shade. [The Narrows is a famous hike through a slot canyon in and out of water and sand and hiking on rocks and boulders in Utah - really really amazing if you ever have a chance!!]

Thanks LLA and fellow LLA-posters!

or could it be paris pink that was a return?

Anonymous said...

Just noticed that the Rest Day Pullover is also restocked on the website in black and heathered fossil.

@ Vanessa - thanks for the tip on the Narrows hike. We visited Zion and Bryce when the kids were little but I am dying to go back now that they are older. I just love Utah.

Look at that bag!!!!! WTH is that cool pattern?!?!?

Anonymous said...

The bag is an older print... black roses or something like that....

yogibabe said...

The pattern is Black Rose from a few seasons back. One of my favorites and I have Power Y, Push Ur Limit, Inspire and Yogi Dance crop. Only thing is, it's tricky to get a great print distribution from online orders. I was lucky with these but I've seen some with a big area of white in unfortunate spots. The quality of items in this print was and is still SUPER. No problems at all. And to think that all I have to worry when buying from lulu then, was just the print distributions. Sheesh...those were the good times!

Re: currant: I adore a good true red, but I am terrified of the bleeding possibilities.

Just returned from an Alaskan Cruise with extended family. My sister thought it was hilarious that 3/4 of my suitcase was filled with LLL. Swiftlys are fabulous travelers because they don't take up much room and can be washed and and dried easily in the hotel/cruise ship bathroom. I also visited the Seattle LLL after the cruise. That's where I tried on every Mirage tank in stock and discovered the Scoop Me Up was the only one that was not see through. Very nice staff, but the same thing happened that always happens to me in Phoenix, I didn't get an arrival greeting. I think it's because I'm short and ninja quick when I'm entering the store. I don't get noticed until I'm staring at the wall of tanks or holding a few items.

I think currant is as good as it gets =D gorg!

Minda, I do love currant! I have a swiftly LS and it is gorgeous!!

This no limits is purdy!

Did anyone get the space dye WU crops? I really want to know if the new ones are thicker or are any better than the recent releases. I want some new WU crops but the recent releases are sheer and ct prone :(

Quick and easy recipe for shopping justification! - Just repeat 3 times while sipping a nice glass of wine. . .repeat as necessary.

I just wanted to say that I actually prefer the new WUC gusset because I used to get camel toe from the old diamond shaped gusset and I don't from the new ones. I have read a few others say that the new triangle doesn't bother them- I really think that it is something that works for some and not for others. I just wanted to put that out there for anyone new to Lulu :-)

Anonymous said...

Agree!! Love the triangle gusset!

The NLT is one of my favourite tanks and pow pink colour is cute. I'm just too wary of getting a bleeder. I already have a NLT with a paris pink bra tap. While it no longer bleeds, the first time I wore it it turned my white towel to pink. I don't want a rerun of that episode.

I think I'll wait for the purple or caspian blue one. :)

Is there a red coming in August, or just a red for exclusive Seawheeze gear?

Anonymous said...

LLA - Definitely do some research before you do the Narrows (even as a day hike) and get some water shoes with thick/hiking soles (you can rent ones with ankle support from local shops in Springdale) and bring (or rent in the shoe package) poles/hiking stick and check the weather! Slot canyons are famous for sketchy flash floods, but more prone during monsoon season, which is july-august. The trick is the weather miles away can affect flash flooding - just check at the visitors center and they will have up to date info and can give you lots of advice when you decide to take the plunge!!

I live at a national park and love that folks bring their kids to visit and experience it! (As long as they're safe - I work on a lot of search and rescues unfortunately.)

PS- (and OT), on one of these posts during a shoe conversation, someone mentioned endless.com having a 365 day return period - warning, danger, danger, they just changed it and is now only 30 days!! I found this out the hard way. They still took my stuff back but I spent a few moments stressing about it. So they're not as good returns as zappos now!

WOW! Thank you for the posting on endless.com return policy!!

Is the currant scuba a true red or a more coral red? I can't tell from picturs!

Minda said...

Nicole I find it to be a true red. Not coral red. The pics with new sea wheeze running shorts look more coral red to me. The currant scuba is vibrant and red red! Hope this helps or someone else wants to back me up! I am so glad I got this hoodie in currant! Now wishing for snorkel!!

My Pow Pink crb did not bleed, and I love it.

Anonymous said...

Currant is true red, red. I bought just about everything that came out in currant last winter. It's my favorite lulu color. Snagged a scuba this time around too and waiting for it to come, but being on the East Coast, it will be awhile.

Anonymous said...

Regarding the "pants" banner on the LLsite: loving what looks like a pow pink Power Y?? also loving the grape vertical striped textured leggings - patiently waiting!!

Anonymous said...

Minda you are correct, currant is red red and the sea wheeze shorts appear to be a lighter red.

Anonymous said...

It's hard to tell really what red they're doing next, esp. with the jacket and CRB underneath(it would appear) currently on the banner pages. It looks to be a deep red in the spirit of currant. With the way LL has cycled through so many similar pinks lately, maybe it's not too far off currant? Here's hoping.

Anonymous said...

AZ Lulu Fan - it's not you. The Seattle store has the most unhelpful sales clerks. I never shop at that location anymore - just give them my returns. :)

Sandra said...

I actually like the Seatle store in pacific place better than Bellevue. They don't get swamped and they actually have coveted items in stock. But I do agree, only one of the girls was friendly and actually helped me. The others just stand there and do not say much at all.

Lynne said...

Is it possible the red coming in August is actually a re-release of currant? The banner photos look pretty currant-y to me, and I just noticed there is a currant lucky luon headband available. That's new isn't it??

yogibabe said...

I got your back Minda! Currant Scuba Sisters watches out for each other!!! :) Currant is a true RED. Red, red. Love mine and so far, no bleeding issue (crossing the fingers! Though still only wash with like colors). I prefer currant to Tango Red, which I belive has an orange base to it. The Sea Wheeze shorts looks more Tango-ish.

Anonymous said...

Did you all notice that the actual currant scuba does not have the same zipper than the previous release ?

Anonymous said...

@ AZ lulu fan: I, too, live here in PHX and I find that in general the women at the Biltmore store are much friendlier than the women at the Scottsdale store. I never get a 'hello' at the Scottsdale store and no one ever remembers me but they do at the Biltmore. At Scottsdale when I buy an item on MD I always feel as if they are judging me. If they only knew how much full price merchandise I buy between the two stores they'd be shocked! Just my two cents..

PIX I hope currant is in the future because my wallet needs a break!

On another note......Lulu friends:
Anyone on here know WHERE I can buy Frye Veronica slouch boots, in Canada??? or a reputable website, that's Canadian. I don't want to order from the USA and be hit with all sorts of duty fees. Any ideas would be wonderful! you all....got me wanting to buy a pair! :)

Anonymous said...

Hi y'all who've recently purchased a currant scuba--is the zipper metal or plastic? TIA!

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 9:30...all I did was Google. I live in Toronto. There's a shop (Get Outside) on Queen St W and another one in North Toronto. This is a Canadian based store & site, and you can order from them on-line. Click on the Frye logo and you'll find your Veronica Slouch and many others. Good luck, Cheers.

Anonymous said...

p.s. US Frye fans, they also ship to the USA, should you be in need...

Anonymous said...

sorry, me again. if you're on-line ordering from getoutside, make sure you are on top of your order. maybe not so great customer service (story of our lives with LLL though), these reviews about on-line experiences are not that current, but anyway, buyer beware,

I don't have any Frye shoes/boots, but love love El Naturalista - they're spanish and zappos carries some styles and endless carries others. I looked for boots for 4 years before finding them. Some are a bit too funky or girly for me, but I have the tinest calves and these are the only boots that looked dressyish and not like golashes! http://www.zappos.com/product/7775383/color/3 (they are warm though, with wool lining, but I'm always cold).

I wore them with the Lulu yin to you leggings one day and all my girlfriends were like, wow, you're so dressed up for a change!

Okay, sorry for the OT. I am really procrastinating on a work project today, lol!

Thanks for the get outside website. :) I looked and they don't have any 6.5 in the boots I want....they do have half sizes, but only 6 or 7 is left and in many of the styles I want, only bigger sizes are available. they are also on sale!!!!!! YAY! I know a store that has the boot I want, but $100 MORE than "Get Outside." I know the owner of this store and asked him for a little deal, and although...he's offered me deals in the past....he told me he just couldn't, bec. Frye NEVER goes on sale! BS! This website has them on for $399.... So why in the hell would I pay $525 with the guy I know.....who won't give me 10 or 20% off???? So much for them NEVER being on sale.... LMAO.... Some people are so cheap, they can't even offer you a little deal. UGH....

Anonymous said...

And just for the principal of not offering me anything off, (Ive known him for years) when in the past, he always offered me 20% off, I'm not going to buy them from him--he can keep the boots and find another sucker! LOL....

Anonymous said...

Glad to help and I hope your Frye quest works out!

@anon 8:14am

I visit all the valley locations and Biltmore is my fave too. The old Scottsdale showroom at the Borgota was sweet, sad they shut it down when Scottsdale Quarter opened. I rotate which store I take returns back to although there have only been 3 returns this year because I'm more selective about what I buy from LLL. This month I've bought only one new tank (so far), last July I had 5 LLL receipts. I keep my retail receipts one year before shredding them.

I believe we will be seeing Currant again. That's good because I ended up getting no Currant stuff last time. I tried on a bunch but always ended up leaving the store with something else.
