Spotted In Stores - Ziggy Wee Caspian Print Cool Racerback and A New Blue Coming?

Spotted in Australian stores - a Ziggy Wee Caspian Print Exra long Cool Racerback. Thanks to Kimberli for pointing this out.

Also, from the August Shape magazine - it looks like a new blue color is coming. Thanks to Shenoa for spotting this.

They need to stop already with the Extra Long CRB's! CRB's are already long enough. Make regular CRB's!

Loving the blue color! And I agree, Anon 7:08 make regular CRB's.

And still only 1 review, online, of the Best Practice backpack?!? I know it is pricey, but I thought someone might have ordered it.

I have bags I bought from Lulu 3 & 4 years ago for $78 and now they are almost double the price and SMALLER! I still have all my Lulu bags and the quality back then...was way better!!!

The purple tank with the print, looks like a sofa from 1973! YUCK... Lulu couldn't come out with something nicer than this?!

I only have one XL CRB, which I bought "by accident" but I actually really like it. It covers more bum and makes me feel less self-conscious in my WUs. (I'm new to this whole leggings as pants thing) However, I wish they wouldn't just pick 1 length or the other for color releases. They should make everything in regular CRB length, and then offer a smaller selection of those colors in XL.

Oooh that blue is pretty!

Anonymous said...

Wonder if it bleeds......... LMAO....

@ anon 7:27 am - My porcelaine Namaste tank hasn't had any bleeding problems so I'd bet no, but I wouldn't be a lot. ;-)

I love that Blue and I love those clothes. I have that magazine and I wondered if they were LLL but couldn't figure it out. The bra looks like a new style. What do you think it is?

OT but need to whine to people who care :)
So, I'm in love with the mirage pattern but only the brush-strokes piece of it that shows up on the Y-flow bra, headband, naked seam speeds. However, I don't wear Y-flows or Speeds. I need TaTaTamer support and Turbo shorts coverage. As a alternative I bought the mirage roll-down shorts. They have enough thigh coverage for me and look really cute. I just wish the waistband were fitted luxtreme instead of bunched-up elastic with a drawstring. I haven't removed the tags yet and I'm wavering on returning them. I adore the fit of my Turbos and My Sun Runner shorts and I don't want to regret this
purchase. Now, I'm wishing that I had ordered the
mirage Pacesetter skirt the day it came out. I think that I would have likes it better than these shorts that just aren't quite right. :( Of course the skirt is sold out now, and clock is ticking on my shorts purchase and I'm getting that Lulu panic feeling that they torture us with using their scarcity model. Do I want to stick with this item that I'm not 100% happy with just because it's my best chance of owning a print that I like? Should I pay double the LLL price for a pacesetter skirt off eBay? Should I return my shorts hoping for another mirage option than works for me? Oh, Lulu, why do I allow you to occupy my thoughts the way you do?

Anonymous said...

Love this!! Hoping for a new blue or re-release of an old favorite like Angel or Snorkel! Bring on the brightly colored (non-triangle gusset) WUs too!!!!!

MB said...

Anon 8:00--- If you don't love the shorts, I'd return them. There is so much mirage print stuff out now that I think it's unlikely more will come out, but if you don't love these shorts you won't reach for them anyways.

I love the extra long CRB's due to butt coverage- I'm all about covering da butt! Speaking of, I got my Meditate Pullover- finally. It took two weeks to get here, and I was on vacation when it came- so a month later I tried it on. I ordered up- from my regular 6 to 8 for extra length- and the thing is skin tight and doesn't cover my bum. It fits like a 4, seriously. WTH? I'll still wear it, but not at all what I expected. It fits like a tight top, not as a looser pullover as I imagined. I cannot believe the thing is an 8- weird.

Although I love the print of the new CRB, I'm not buying. Until I have confidence in lulu quality, I'm on a hiatus. Enjoying my savings.

Anon 8:00. I just got the run inspire crop with mirage. Luv the mirage/indigo combination.

I love love XL CRBs! And I looooove this print, I'll probably get this tank and the leggings in the lulu banner (won't wear together, obviously lol)!

Call me crazy, but I would love a Define in this Black Swan? zig-zag print (assuming lulu can improve their QC problems related to ugly seams and other sowing issues as seen on the Pow Pink Define). I think it would match well with a lot of colors in my closet. Black Swan was one of my favorite colors from last year.

Anonymous said...

***Sewing, not sowing.

Shenoa said...

Yay I got a mention!!!! Lol :). The bra looks exactly like a daily bra and it says it's Lululemon when you look on the last page of the workout up the side of the page. :)

Anonymous said...

@MonkeyGirl - That is strange. I'm normally a size 6, and I ordered the meditate pullover in a 4, since there were reviews mentioning sizing down. And the 4 fits fine and is roomy enough for me. The only thing that seem tight are the cuffs. I know that everybody is different but I'm wondering if your is mistagged or something. :\

Anonymous said...

@MonkeyGirl - My experience with the Meditate pullover is the same as anon 8:52. I'm usually a 6 in Lulu tops/jackets and bought the meditate in a size 4 with plenty of room.
Might really be mistagged. Did you check the rip out tag for the correct size? I had 2 cases recently where the hang tag had a different size than rip out tag.

Anonymous said...

I also ordered the meditate pullover. I stuck with my normal cRB size 6, and it fits great. I don't have stick-thin arms either.

Anonymous said...

@MonkeyGirl - I have the meditate pullover and stayed in my regular size 6 top (although I do size down in a bunch of tops to a four) I am really between a four and a six in tops (I am a four in bottoms - which are a little bit loose but I am hesitant to order 2's in case I ever gain a pound or two- I know, not the typical woman's body type - I am much smaller on bottom). It is a little bit big for me but I love the slouchy-ness of it. I wanted something roomy and comfy to throw over my CRBs and WUs on a fall or spring day on my way out the door. Double check the tags - the sizing on yours does not seem right.

I love my new Frye boots that arrived today!!! it was nice to spend money...on something else "other than" Lulu!!! :) LOL At least I don't have to worry about my Veronica Slouch boots bleeding..... :)

Loving this blue!

OT- I finally tried Zella yoga gear at Nordstrom's! Unfortunately the fit is not for me :( The material was super soft and comfy feeling but not as flattering as LLL! I am an 8 in Lululemon bottoms and tried the medium in several different crop/pant styles. Medium was big around my waistband and knees but tight around my calves? Weird fit. They didn't hold me in as well as Wunder Unders- material is less compressive I guess. Not worth the price IMO! I will stick to buying off eBay until Lululemon gets their quality under control :(

Anonymous said...

@monkeygirl,

Yes, I agree with Kara. I ordered a sz 6 in the Meditate PO and my usual size is size 8. It was snugger fitting than the model picture but still slouchy. I think you received a mislabeled item...

Anonymous said...

This CRB looks like it would be soft, but the pattern is dizzying. Pass!

Love the blue shade. Purdy!!

I wasn't ever a fan of the XL CRB either until I tried one a few months ago. I love them. I have a white one and another in dk charcoal (I think that's the name of the color; it's the latest dark gray release). But not loving this print. I really like the colors in the print though. It reminds me of black swan, which I loved!!

@ anon 10:06

At my husband's urging,I tried out zella and other brands Nordstrom carries, last year. Nothing fit as well or as flattering as LLL. Even my husband had to agree! Right after leaving Nordstrom we headed over to Lulu.

I also really like the possible new blue color. It reminds me of the blue on the Sea Wheeze bag, that I got last week. As a matter of fact, I like all the colors on the Sea Wheeze bag! Wouldn't the brighter colors make great CRBs? The darker colors would be great for LS Turn Arounds. I really hope that LS Turn Arounds come back out this fall.

i want to see a color comparison of that blue and porcelain.

That blue looks identical to the striped Sea Wheeze CRB.

I completely agree with you, Laura!

I love my surge wee stripe CRB from last summer. But I've lost some weight and it's a little baggy in the belly area. If that new blue comes out in a CRB, it might be a good replacement!

Anon 8:33 am. I am with you on loving the black swan. I have bras in black swan that I totally just adore. The color is deep and slightly mysterious coz it's not a lot of things like black, purple, navy or anything. Love it.
I'm not too excited about the new CRB. I'll check it out of course. I hope we don't get a big upload. I seem to never get a break. I find something I like every week. I just wished I was more disciplined and only buy at the store where I can try things. Scarcity model works well with me. Thanks, Lulu...
I'm not complaining. I am just expressing my thoughts.

Just wondering - how can people tell that the shape magazine photos are lululemon? Is there a logo visible or did the article specify it somewhere?

Thanks!

Forget about it and wait for another print to love

You can see the name of the clothing he photographer and the models name on the last page of the workout up the side of the page in small print. They o it in every segment. And yes the color is just like the seaweeze color. It didn't photograph well cause the background was yellow and the model had red hair too much going on for my iphone to pick it up properly. Hope this helps. :)

Shenoa said...

Sorry forgot to add its actually a wee stripe with white in it have no idea of the color name

MonkeyGirl said...

OK, after reading everyone's comments re: my tight fitting Meditate Pullover- the inside tag is ripped out, the hang tag says size 8- but I could not for the life of me find the little white dot wit the size on it. Tried it on again- this thing is skin tight- take back what I said about it fitting like a 4- it fits like a 2!

My friend and I tried several Zella pieces at Nordstrom this weekend. Nothing worked for me. I'm a LLL 6 with skinny, short legs. She's your typical pear shape and everything looked great on her. She bought several items. I thought the Zella sale gym bags were well made and a deal at $59, but I really don't need a new one. I'm still carrying a LLL Everywhere Gym Bag, the one with the big twisted fabric straps. It's 3 years old, looks like new, and performs like a champ.

The anniversary sale Zella gym bags aren't easy to find online.

Zella Gathered Tote $45

I love all shades of purple but this new pattern looks as if there would have been a earthquake at the time the dyes were being poured on the fabric ughhh... just ugly.
Sorry, it's a no for me.

Anonymous said...

Earthquake...1973 couch....ha ha -- I don't like that pattern, either. Looks like something I see in thrift stores. I do love XL CRBs, though.

And that blue looks just like porcelain to me.

i like it! If it is soft and springy like the other wee crbs - and don't have quality issues - I will totally rock this top with my white BY quilt capris!

Cari said...

Speaking of beyond yoga- I ordered a pair of the gathered crops in true navy and sadly they did not work for me. I wear a 2 in lulu and the XXS in beyond yoga was way too big- like saggy in the thigh area and the gusset. The material was so soft, but sadly back they go.

Diana said...

Has anyone bought the FREE MIND CROPS? Im curious if they have that low crotch, like MC Hammer pants, or if they are just super baggy. I can't tell from the pictures.

Stefanie said...

Am I the only one who thinks that blue looks just like porcelaine? Or could it be Surge? Angel Blue? Maybe Rocksteady? I know all those colors were slightly different, but they're just not different enough to hold my interest. So over it.

Anonymous said...

These blue pants are also in the photo of the black hot but not tank on the lulu site. :)

Just saw some new products on Lulu Trolley Square's FB page: WU's in Currant, Inspire crops in charcoal/caspian blue, pow pink turbo shorts, power y tank in luxtreme and caspian blue swiftly l/s, s/s and tank. Check it out: https://www.facebook.com/lululemonSaltLakeCity

Angel blue is much lighter. Surge (solid) isn't quite as bright looking, surge (wee stripe) looks lighter. I think this new blue is a new color! I love bright blues, porcelaine just didn't do it for me.

Laura said...

I agree with Gina, it doesn't look like porceline to me. It looks prettier!

Anonymous said...

LOVING the way this blue looks! I am a blue freak and this looks much different than porcelaine to my eye... this looks like a truer blue while porcelaine had some purple in it and surge had some green. Very excited!

Houndlvr67 said...

I'm hoping that the new blue is Peacock-one of my favorite colors from the past. My first Lulu purchase was an Athletic Deep V in Peacock/Poppy...so they have brought an "aqua blue" and red out together before.

yogibabe said...

@Houndlvr67

Yup, I have that Athletic Deep V in Peacock/Poppy too! I thought that the color combo of the Sea Wheeze ensemble looks familiar. Thanks for the info, and now I can sleep peacefully at night without that "where have I seen that colors" bugging me... Love the blue/red! :D

groovegirl said...

Houndlvr67 & yogibabe - Very cool to read these colors have occurred before in lululand. As another lover of the blue/red pairing, you two are making me excited for what's (hopefully) to come.

@ 3:44 PM that blue on the model in the magazine is NOT porcelaine at all! I have a porcelaine CRB and that's not it. imo, porcelaine is way better.
