Today's Shopping Trip

I went to the store to return the Pop Orange CRB I ordered (it's too neon for me) and tried on some of the new things. The Pow Pink Define is super soft - I know people were worrying about that. It's also one of the thinner and stretchier Defines I've tried on, kind of like the Surge one from last summer. I'm on the fence as to whether I will keep mine when it arrives. I think I need to try it on with a bunch of my stuff to see what kind of combos I can make. I know it will sell out fairly quickly. Paris Pink Defines have been going for insane money on Ebay so I can always sell the Pow if I don't want to keep it.

I tried on the Spit Singlet and was not a fan. The material is super lightweight but the seams on the side are the glued Nakedseam ones. They were sharp when I rubbed my arms on them as I pantomimed running in the dressing room. The back is too long and the front too short. If the top was more equally proportioned I might have given it a shot but it's just too odd and I'm pretty content with Swiftly racerbacks right now. I thought the fit was very roomy, perhaps even a size big.

I also tried on the Team Spirit SS top. It's a nice top but I didn't feel the lust to get it. The open back gaped and sagged on me since I have narrow shoulders. If I could get it on markdown at a good price I might snap the Lilac one up but I have enough short sleeve shirts for now. I thought the fit was roomy TTS.

Engage bra pocket
I tried on the Engage bra and the website is right - it's for B and C-cup ladies. It did not contain my DDs well. The band was kind of tight and I was squishing out of the armpit area. The straps are really stretchy so not very supportive. I wish they had put extra elastic in them. I like the pocket idea but it's in a weird area on the inside of the bra. I'd like it placed a little higher, like in my old Deep V bra:

"Vintage" Deep V bra with iPod pocket

I also tried on the Nada Jacket. It's super light weight but the arms are attached oddly - kind of part way down the arm so they pull when you pump your arms - or in the case of all these photos, put your arm on your hips. The body is super square and boxy. The sleeves made deliberately short and I can't understand why that is. Lulu does tend to make super long sleeves but not sure why I want sleeves that end an inch or two above my wrist. Not a flattering silhouette at all.

I ended up going home with a Mirage Print lucky luon headband. This one is very soft and stretchy unlike a lot of my other Lucky Luon headbands. I had to search around for one that had a nice blotch of Pow and Pop Orange on the front. I forgot about trying on the Roll Down shorts everyone has been raving until I was already out of the dressing room and I had to get home for swim lessons. I'll have to remember them for next time.

I got the Pow Define, Pow Light swiftly V Neck, and the Indigo/white/Mirage Groove pants.

Tried on Engage bra (way way way too small cups for a 30F), Optimal tank in pow (eh), and the Mirage Wunder Unders. OMG, they were completely see through when I bent over!!! Could READ the tag through them :(

Really disappointed in all the Lulu tops lately. None of them are big enough in the chest area for me and that didn't used to be the case! I have tons of tops from just a couple of years ago that fit great in a 6

I'm returning my pow pink Define tomorrow but I think it will be a toss up as to those who love it and those who dont because it is very soft but I didn't like the orange stitching so much but it is sold out online. I bet you can resell for 149 if you wanted but I'm not looking to deal with all of that, lol

Nada Jacket. I'm sure they'll create an uglier, non-flattering jacket, but this is up there. Wouldn't even touch this if it made its way to wmtm.

There are and will be much better jackets.

On Mirage, so glad I'm over it. Happy I didn't acquire any of it. Will wait for some nice solid colors, especially in CRB's.

LLA: what size bra did u try on? I ordered a 6 (my usual) and I'm a 34DD (6's usually work well for me) but I was hoping this is like the energy bra (wishful thinking)

Anonymous said...

Are the new BB Wunder Unders the CT triangle gusset?

I was excited to see that they hadn't reengineered the Ebb & Flows and the new batch has oval sideways gusset. You all were right about how comfy they are!

Anonymous said...

Has anyone in the US spotted a pop orange define yet?

NicoleC said...

I finally got my order from last weeks upload today!
Indigo Diversity Wunder Unders are a gorgeous color... but the hem around the bottom had little jagged cuts in it (like someone used blunt scissors) so I had to straighten them up myself! You'd think if Lulu are too cheap to even hem things now they might at least cut neatly!!!
Also got the Pop Orange Halter... and I absolutely adore the color of that too. But what were the designers thinking when they lined the top in dot fabric? I can see weird faded dots on my boobs... and the outline of cups since the fabrics so thin :(

Unknown said...

Ok, I totally know what you mean about the dots on the boobs! tried on the Scoop Me Up tank and the Y tank in the Mirage print today and you could totally see the dots on the boobs on the Y tank. The Scoop, not at all. The GE also agreed and said she'd document it.

I also tried on the Orange Scoop tank and it is a completely different material than all the other colors in that tank. I already had black and it's a regular luon and more dense. The orange is much lighter weight, almost silky. None of the other colors were that material.

I went into the store intending to buy the orange one and left with the Mirage one. I am totally sold on the pattern!

I love Pink and went crazy ordering everything I could in Pow Pink my goodies arrived today I am keeping the lot, but the Define has to be my favorite of the group the color is so bright and the fabric is super soft.

Anonymous said...

Any idea when the Still shorts come out? I'm hoping for a non-black pair this summer.

I thought the Pop Orange CRB looked too neon in the package, but I actually liked it once I put it on. The Pow Pink and Pop Orange are the first CRBs I've bought. I wore the pink last night and I'm sold! Great fit and I felt it had magical slimming powers, ha!

Carolyn said...

OT - I spotted a Bruised Berry crb on eBay so hopefully they'll be online soon!

Anonymous said...

I may be alone but I actually liked the Nada jacket enough to buy it. Ran 7.5 miles in it this morning with no pulling. The shorter sleeves actually worked well for Garmin purposes. With most jackets I either have to scrunch the sleeve up to see my watch at each lap or have to put it over the sleeve making it a pain if I get too hot. I can see this being used before and after races. Agree that it's a jacket that should be tried on in stores as it may not work for everyone.

Sourkraut said...

Got my indigo Scoop Me Up tank in the mail and I'm on the fence about it. Lovely color, although I don't (yet) have any workout bottoms to coordinate with it. My real issue is the fit. The straps look nice from the front and the back and there's enough support for me. However, even on my long torso it seems too long. Wish it had strings down the side so it could be ruched up. Also, I'm between a 6 and 8 and had to size up to the 8 since that's all they had left in stock. I wonder if I wouldn't do better with a 6 as it seems like there's a ton of bunched up fabric around my waist, drawing attention to my trouble spot. I'll probably take it back to the store and if they have a 6 try that and exchange, otherwise return. Although I am tempted by the same tank in the mirage print as a substitute.

The BB CRB was available at my gym weeks ago. sometimes my gym gets stuff that never shows up online

Katie said...

Damn girl! I just looked at the completed eBay listings for the paris pink define...$280 for used condition! Makes me what to list mine! I love it and all...but wowza

Anonymous said...

Anon 6:56 I agree with you on both. Better jackets will come in the near future and I'm also o over that odd and abstract Mirage print. Despite not liking it a bit, had to come to terms with two deep indig bottoms that had it in the waistband. Couldn't get around it. It was buy like it is with that mirage band or give up the deep indigo grove tall shorts and running crops :-/

To Carolyn: the BB CRBs have been on eBay for a few days. They are listed in different sizes from different sellers but price wise, they are all way above what I would pay for a lululemon CRB, unless it us custom made in a unique print that nobody else will sport. Otherwise, no color is worth that much, in my opinion. But yes, I see people are buying them for about $100 with shipping. I would be upset at myself if I paid that much and they would be upload a few weeks later! I'm sure they will be. BB is a very popular color and lulu has been releasing pieces in this color one at a time. I'll wait and if it never shows up online, I know there will be plenty if new colors to pick up another CRB!

Anonymous said...

I think I come from a different planet because I can not like that Pow Pink everyone on here is raving about. I did get one CRB racing length and once saw the color, knew I would not order another item in Pow Pink. In contrast, I love Flash in all versions because it's a vibrant color, as oppose to dull PO IMO.

New WMTM!!

Kristin said...

Anyone see the "new" WU on website???? I don't remember seeing some of those colors/options before. But who knows. Restock? I really want to order a pair but worried about sheerness and the gusset placement! There are a few more items in wmtm too.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if the roll shorts in mirage have black trim or indigo? It looks black...

Sharon said...

Ack, you are really making me regret my decision not to order the Pow Pink define...I was hesitant due to not having matching items and also the potential for bleeding...

Jamie Barba said...

Check out WMTM; they added several items, including the Dart & Dash in the big dots that I've been coveting. I also noticed the Shorty Shorts, Tracker Shorts, Run in the Sun SS & LS & Nothing to Hide jacket.

Minda said...

Kristin - i have those wu crops the black space dye-kind of a muted pink in the stripe part that looks like it should be white. i picked them up for 45$ from wmtm around christmas time. they are probably my hardest working pair of WU! other than the other full length black space dye ones i have lol.
love these. not sure if they are new thin/ triangle gusset but if its the ones i had previously they are fantastic. -

you would think that horizontal stripe types would be a seat widener - visually - right? no the way the little space dye lays on the rear is super flattering!!

Anonymous said...

Wunder Grooves restocked too! Just got the pretty coal pair!

Anonymous said...

Do we think some of these are old restocked WUCs? That would be awesome! Praying they aren't new stuff, I have been super disappointed in them and stopped buying after the Power Purple, but I might get the space dyed to check it out. I would be tempted by the coal Wunder Grooves, but I tried on the Wunder Astros in coal with the lavender waistband and they were super sheer, just fit odd in general, like the coal wasn't normal WU fabric. Hope they fixed that, but I might go out on a limb with the space dye and see what y'all discover on the other ones.

Anonymous said...

I just picked up the Dash shorts in seaside dot on WMTM....yay!

Kristin said...

@ Minda,

Thx for the feedback. I think I'm going to order the space dye. I have a pair that are similar but they are reversible (black on one side and wee are from space in fossil on the other). I love them but they tend to get a little hot. I am also thinking about the new blue waistband wu. They are reversible but don't think they are as thick as my others since they are black on both sides (only the waistband changes). Right? Not sure. Thx again!

Sourkraut said...

Nothing I need from the WMTM new additions but, as always, thanks to you guys for keeping me updated. I have been stalking the page in case there's a price drop on the Deep Thoughts Scarf. I don't wear scarves often enough to justify the current $49 price tag but it is pretty. I noticed that today, while still listed as $49, there's some glitch that has the original price also listed as $49. Wow! What savings!

Hope the rest of you find something good.

Anonymous said...

wunder groove crops are back! in coal and black :) i just got a pair in coal and they were cheaper than what i paid for a few months ago...$72 vs $78. crossing my fingers that the luon isn't see through and that there won't be camel toe issues...

Anonymous said...

After weeks of not liking anything, I got the space dye WUC. Excited about it now, here's hoping it's not sheer. :-)

Anonymous said...

Can I just say you are all so wonderful on here?! Thanks for updating about the new stuff on the website or I would have missed out. Even with all the quality issues, I get sucked in on the WUC every time. :) Thanks again!!

Kristin said...

@ Minda

Well, I pulled the trigger on the space dye WU. I have my fingers crossed that they aren't sheer and the gusset is in its proper place. If they are sheer, my crack may not be as visible since it is such a busy pattern. But I will still do the "bend over" test. Since they have that pinkish stripe, what colors look best w/ these crops? What do you wear w/ them? Thx again.

Unknown said...

Has anyone tried those denim gather and crow crops?? I'm interested in them because they are different than regular black.

Anonymous said...

Where did the Pow Pink Wunder Unders go? They were fully stocked earlier today...

Anonymous said...

I would buy the Wunder Grooves in a heartbeat but I tried on the Astro WUC in the same colors and they were super sheer and thin. Want to buy the Space Dye ones but still can't commit due to possible sheerness. Ugh! I love my WUC SO MUCH why can't they make them like they used to?

Anonymous said...

I am super annoyed I didnt buy the power purple... I want to check out the store instead of buying the dye ones online

Anonymous said...

Did any of you get power purples you are returning? Id buy em from you

Anonymous said...

Is anyone surprised that Lulu brought back the exact same color in the WUs? I don't think I've seen this happen before.

Anonymous said...

OT- but has anyone noticed that Lulu hasn't released any more of the sweat cuffs since the "bleeding issues" started? They had them in menthol and april wee space, then POOF no more. Coincidence that they didn't release these in things that bleed as you sweat like Pow, pop orange, or ray? I think not...

Anonymous said...

The run rest pullover is back in 2 colors now too. I love my pow purple WUCs and may consider the space dye too. I keep reading about people saying you can see the gusset from the rear but I have not had this problem. Is it on all of the crops/pants or just some of the them? All of mine have the triangle gusset (even crops from last year) except the gather and crows with the diamond shape.

Anonymous said...

Love this blog! Would like some input. When i return an online item to my store, does it take a hit? I would feel so badly if that's the case because I love my local store but they sometimes don't have what online does.

Anonymous said...

Minda! I just received my Pow define and I am in love! It IS bright, yes- but it's buttery soft and stretchier than my other defines (I have concord grape and porcelain). Now, I will have to see if it's a bleeder. I sure am hopeful!

Anonymous said...

Any feedback on new batch of ebb and flows? I grabbed a pair in black but am worried about sheerness. Is this batch any better?

Amy B said...

I just got my denim gather and crow. Darling. Cuter than plain black. TTS. I was gambling when I ordered them, but I am really happy with my purchase!,,,,

Side note.... Thanks so much for the WUC notice about the striped ones added today. I would have completely missed them if it wasn't for you all!!!!! You rock!

2nd...... If ANYBODY is thinking about getting the Rest Day Pullover.... Do it!!! I got a black one maybe last month and it's the cutest thing ever. Way cuter on. The neck on it is darling and the zipper detailing makes it more fancy than a regular hoodie!!!! TTT also!
I ordered the gray one this morning.

yogibabe said...

@Minda and Kristin
Just got off work and saw all the new goodies in the crops and WMTM. The black space dye WUC sure looks like the one from last year? I have a pair with a matching Scoop Neck where the trim around the neck is the same "pinkish" black space dye. I love this WUC. I sure hope it is of the same fabric batch, and as Minda mentioned above, it is one of the best WUC that I owned. Not see through at all. Kristin and anyone else who's had the chance to try it in the store, let us know of the fabric quality and gusset. I'm tempted to get another pair! ;)

Anonymous said...

I just returned from my local store...

They had indigo and gray Ebb and Flows, and oh, they were lovely. Thick and soft, with the right kind of gusset, and NOT sheer. I could see why everyone loves them so much. Sadly, they didn't have a pair in my size. Darn.

Weirdly, the store had very little Bruised Berry anything. No Defines or Strides, or any crops at all, only the Swiftlys. Not sure if they sold out of the other things or had very little to begin with. Probably a combination of both. They did have a fair amount of Pow Pink and Pop Orange clothing, but no jackets in either color. No new Define or Stride colors at all; in fact, the table of jackets is full of Concord, Black and a few straggler Porclelaines. I was curious to see how the Pow Pink Define looked, but I was out of luck, since they didn't have one!

I did check out the Pow Pink Scoop Me Up. The fit was really weird, so I passed. Is it just me, or are the new Scoop Me Ups really long? Like significantly longer than the Scoopnecks were?

ebbandflow said...

I ordered the navy ebb and flows online like a month and a half ago and had to return them because they were sheer. I tried them on again yesterday in the store--I was just hoping that they were a better batch but they were still sheer. It was not a size issue at all. LOVE them and want them but the are see-through.

Molly said...

I kind of don't even want to give this place away because sizes sell out fast enough as it is, but-- you guys should check out Sweaty Betty. Way cuter stuff than Lulu.

Kristin said...

@ yogibabe,

I will keep you posted on the quality of the space dye WU. I live in sunny FL, so I won't get my WU til Fri of next wk (or maybe sat.). But I will definitely let you know. Fingers crossed that they are like the first batch. Thx!

Can you run in the WUC? I am fairly new to LLL and don't want to mess them up. Thanks!!

pk in seattle said...

I bought some indigo Ebb & Flows last week, and though I agree with all the comments about how awesome they are, my pair were sheer. I have large hips and a small waist, so going up a size (if that would even have solved the problem) made the waistband too baggy. Even with a dark thong on, since there's no vertical seam down the back of the crops ... it looked really tacky. So, I'm jealous of those for whom the crops are not sheer! I exchanged the E&F for some indigo/mirage Sun Sprinter crops.

In other news -- I'm loving my pair of the Wanderful Flare pants. I wish the waistband was a wee bit higher, though (they fit me like a pair of Grooves). I found the black pair to be true to my Groove size; I had to go up a size in the slub (?). The flare was pretty intense, but I'm 5'4", so once I had four or so inches chopped off, they looked great. I love how they have a fit-and-flare silhouette, as opposed to the Grooves, which are more of a baggy flare.

Anonymous said...

Good looking out y'all! I ordered the space dye WUC too. The fabric looks identical to the old ones, so fingers crossed they are old stock. Even if they are just the old fabric it would be an improvement. I actually have two pairs with the triangle gussets that aren't bad, power purple and indigo WUCs, but the most recent ones I've tried on are indeed horrendous. The regular WUs are especially bad, horrible camel toe and totally sheer. I was ecstatic to find a rogue pair of regular WUs in the heathered black wee stripe/reversible to solid black at a store last week. Those are from the winter, old gusset and everything, so I have no idea where they came from, but they are mine now! Hoping these space dye WUCs are the same sort of random throwback.

Anonymous said...

there are some new wunder under crops got uploaded today

Anonymous said...

Amyb - I am fairly new to lulu too, and I wouldn't do too much running in the wuc. The educator at the store told me I could, and I did. Within 5-6 times of running in them I started seeing pilling in the inner thigh area. Maybe with the older luon, but these newer fabrics seem less durable, so I'm just using them for weights and circuit training.

Unknown said...

Minda - yes, please tell us what you pair your space dye WUC with! They look love and I love the color but I'm afraid I cannot match them very well :)

Anonymous said...

Just went on my "Indiana Jones and the search for the diamond gusset" adventure....success!

Found an old pair of black crops in all their diamond gusseted glory at my local store and snatched them right up! Woohoo!

They do still exist!

Anonymous said...

Anyone notice bottom of the long red "top" worn by the model in the black running crops in the "crop banner"? Could that be the bottom of the red jacket we've been seeing? Tell me no, because that's one heck of a long jacket. Maybe it a piece for Fall and I'll be loving a long red jacket in a few months....

Anonymous said...

I got those space dye wuc at my lulu store 3 weeks ago?!? I thought they were old stock. They DO have the new triangle gusset but I don't have a problem with it. The color is pinkish and very pretty! They have a shine to them in my regular size but not bad.

Anonymous said...

East Coaster here... I finally just got my July 3 order which included the Mirage Flow Y and whoa! They totally changed the design! I think the top cuts down much lower and the band is thicker... does not fit like the old ones and I'm not a fan, this will be going back. But now I'm wondering if I need to scoop up some old ones from ebay to stock up on this fave? Has anyone else noticed this? I think one other person might have mentioned it, but I am really disappointed bc I loved the old Flows so much. :(

I forgot to check WMTM this am before heading out.
Did I miss Run: In The Sun LS in all 3 colors ?
I don't see much point in getting SS.

Quick question about the space dye WUC - do they show sweat? They're so cute, but I'm scared! Thanks!

Sourkraut said...

I just had to come here and share my excitement, girls!! I went to my store today and not only did I find exchanging my Scoop Me Up tank for a smaller size fixed all of the fit issues but I also bought my very first Define jacket!!! I know I've said ad nauseam that I don't like any of the colors that are currently out so imagine my joy when I saw they'd brought back some in concord grape. Whee! I snapped one up even though I doubt I'll be able to wear it for a few months. I am on cloud nine right now.

Also got to try on the Lift & Separate bra, which they had in stock in B cups. I passed because they only had it in black and striped but it's a very flattering bra. Hope they keep it in rotation.

I'm thinking (and hoping!) the space dye WUC would look good with deep indigo tops. The hint of pink would be perfect with indigo shades.

I ordered the crops and already thinking of which tops I have I could pair it with. Excited much? LOL. :)

@Sourkraut
Welcome to the Define world! Personally, I think the Define is one of the most elegant (and most copied) athletic jackets. Don't get me wrong, as I love my jackets with hoods too (Scuba, DSJ, Live Simply etc..), but I'll always put on the Defines when I want to feel extra spiffy!

Also glad that you find the Scoop Me Up tank fits you fine, after going down a size. I have 6 total (only lacking the black) and it is now one of my "go to" tanks. Love my Power Y and CRB, but sometimes want to look "fancier" while maneuvering into those pretty, but difficult poses. In this tank, I can say, " Mr. DeMille, I am ready for my close up." Heehee! :)

Minda said...

Hi Ladies!! Oooh I'm late on the convo! - been zooming all around! I'm crossing fingers for anyone getting these spacedye wuc- that they are the great quality ones that Yogibabe and I own!!

Someone asked if sweat shows through. -- I know that is a thought when you see any grey. . but no! When I say these are my hardest working WU's they really are! Think SW Florida humid drenched sweat fest spin classes and 8 mile runs. No sweat stains - I think mostly due to the space dye design!! Its already kind of camo! I have a friend who owns these as well- but hers look shiny on her. I think she has a size too small shhh! Mine are not shiny on me! LOL all this talk about them I'm going to wear them tomorrow!

Okay so since these bottoms are "all terrain" I really think pairing with tops is too! I wear mine with anything from the black swiftly short sleeve which really looks more charcoal than black---also black scoop neck tops, pink beyond yoga racerback cami's, navy blue tops - white tops- concord grape scoop neck. Deep breathe V bra with splits 59 ashby tanks. You name it. .. I treat it like a varied black! That pinkish stripe is super understated so it is up to you! Whatever is clean and comfortable is my motto!

- I've been seeing people with wild pairings lately so it seems anything goes - IE beachy floral grey WUC with RAY tops or bright pink scoop neck.

I'm tempted to get another pair of these. . . I do love them. I also picked up the full length black space dye WU a few months ago - this wafs and space dye look is by far my fav from Lulu. Anytime they upload new space dye WU WUC I'm all over it. . this is the first time I've hesitated due to the fact - I have these . . and also not into the whole quality control issues lately. I've been shopping at splits59 and beyond yoga until lulu gets their act together! !

@anon 1:53 yay! I'm so glad you love the POW define!!! - I wish i got the concord grape and porcelaine lol such pretty colors. . . hard to justify all my jacket buying though in this heat! Thanks for the update on how that new one feels - I was super curious how people will like this one!

Thanks to this blog I got a pair of the Space dye WUC!

Sophia said...

@Anon 5:45- I noticed the change in the flow y (my fav) too. At first I thought it was an incorrectly sized bra...I usually size up from my normal 6 to an 8...and I thought I'd gotten an 6 by accident. Then I compared it to another 8 and they were the same! The bra has definitely gotten lower and the band tighter...it seems like the. Ra just got overall smaller. That said, I can't complain...the 6 is too small, but the 8 was always slightly too big....now the new 8 is just right!

yogibabe said...

@Minda
I'm one of those "wild pairer". Actually have worn beachy floral fossil WUC with RAY tops or bright pink scoop neck. I've also paired my BY Pink Dahlia lowrise crop with Ray and Flash! Like you, to me there's nothing like brights to kick the gloom away!!! My wildest is the inkblot Yin To You crop with, guess what? Inkblot Power Y! :)

And I totally agree with your take on the Space Dye as the varied black. It seems like anything goes. I'm going to pair mine with my Pow Pink Scoop Me Up. The pink of the tank will accentuate the pink of the WUC and the coal straps of the tank will do nicely with the "coal like" look of the crop. Sheesh....I'm tempted to get another pair too....

Unknown said...

me too!! I just bought them a moment ago :) Also I saw that Nordstrom is carrying 3 Beyond Yoga items online.. free shipping and of course the no-hassle returns...are they doing a test run?

Focus said...

Space dye for me as well:)

I've seen the BY items on Nordstorm and if I remember correctly there were a couple of dollars more than on the BY site.

Minda said...

Now HOLD ON Yogibabe!!! That looks like a case of inkblot ATTACK!
LOL! I would get some wild stares if I wore my inkWU with ink crb LOLOL!
- I was one of the people totally against the beachy floral print as I kept viewing it as geriatric florida beach fashion. EEP sorry!! LOL. But the WUC in the fossil has grown on me. . . to the point where I think its cute when I see other people wearing them and pairing with bright tops!!
- I mostly love wild bright leggings with a solid dark flowy top. IE today was full LAVA BY leggings with black racerback cami and black full expression lulu top - with the black pure barre grippy socks .lol SLEEK with LAVA HEAT!
- the pow scoop me sounds like a winner with these spacers!!!!

@unknown 8:16pm if nordstrom has a no hassle return thats fab- because Beyond Yoga has a craptastic return policy .. i think 5 days or something ridic?!

yogibabe said...

@Minda
Heehee...but it's supercute with the heathered deep indigo "skirt" that's attached to the Yin To You crop to break the pattern. ;)

I saw the Nordstrom's BY offerings too. I'm eyeing your super sunny daffodil gathered crop. Love Nordstrom's policy. It takes the pressure of shopping online away when you have a "safety net" that you can count on. The beauty of a super fantastic customer service is that it is less likely for one to take advantage of the system when one knows that a company stands by their products/services. I can say that with all the liberal policies with Athleta, Nordstrom,Prana etc...I've only done ONE return with each company for items that I've used and am not satisfied with their performance, in all the years that I've been shopping with them. :)

I ordered the Black Space Dye WUs this morning. I can't wait to get them. Does anyone know if they are soft as the Black Wee Stripe ones?

Minda said...

I have the black wee stripe full length wu, and they have a slightly denser nice cushy feel - you know, a nice springy hand! Like the wafs fossil, wafs april, wafs march, crbs, but with that nice wu compress.

The black space dye wuc ones I have that look like the ones pictured on the website are smooth and comfortable - but do not feel like the black wee. They are just flattering and sturdy.

Minda said...

yogibabe!
Ohhhh yesss I forgot about that skirt on the yin! it would break it up =D
I agree with you on the customer service front. -I've had best experiences with Athleta, Patagonia and Zappos. Mostly shoe trade outs with Zappos cause I never return athleta or patagonia items.

- If you get the daffodils I suggest nude thong under! I always wear longer tops with lighter colored leggings, I'm paranoid LOL - so depending on how you feel about that or how they happen to fit your body, it could be no issue, or WHOA private show!! (literally!) - I'm just mentioning it because someone here posted pics of see thru neon pink by leggies she returned, and it would be a shame to buy them and be excited about your daffodils without considering that they MIGHT be see through on you! - I personally don't have see through problems with this one but you know how everyone is different!!!

Thanks for the sweat advice re: the space dye WUC crops, Minda! I ordered them this morning and I'm crossing my fingers (like the rest of you!) that they're as awesome as the old batch was! :)

Bummer that the space dye online now have the new gusset. That's a deal-breaker for me. Thanks for letting us know.
