LOVE!!!!

As much as I want this, if it's over 100 I will definitely pass. Sad.

Anonymous said...

Is there a purple one on the wall there?

Anon 12:18 no that plum pullover is an older style I think... I noticed it in a Brisbane store the other day but can't recall the name. The Unity pullover is also coming in Heathered White though! I ordered the Fossil this morning so can't wait to see how it fits. The Aus price of $139 is horrible though... I think it will be more like $98 in the US :)

Anonymous said...

Anon 12:18 it is a cozy yoga pullover in the plum colour I saw it this morning at a Melbourne store. I wanted the unity pullover but I did not like the tencel looking back it looked cheap : (

Anonymous said...

BIG PASS FOR ME!!! I don't like the back of the pullover at all.....

Anonymous said...

I bought sweater that looks like that at urban outfitters for 15 bucks on same so pass. It also looks weird sometimes if you don't have the perfect back or size for it

Anonymous said...

Meh....looks a little bunchy and like it would add weight to your frame.

Anonymous said...

Holy Lulu...fire your design team!!!

Anonymous said...

Well I LOVE it!!! Each to there own I guess :)

I love it under $100.00, over...well...probably not.

I heard someone on here last week, slamming forever21...saying something about Lulu is getting to be the quality of Forever21. LOL I don't know if they own, or if they've ever owned anything from Forever21...but I've bought a lot of nice dresses from them, a few shirts, some Jammies and lounge pants at a faction of the prices of Lulu....and I've NEVER had any quality issues!!! In fact, the quality is very good and I've NEVER had bad stitching or color bleeding from F21. They make the most comfy lounge pants on the planet, at just $12 a pair and I own 10 pairs....sure they pill after about 60 washes, but Lulus $100 pants are pilling in some cases..after only 3-5 washes. Now that's a big LOL....

Anonymous said...

I got a top looks just like this for $15 at Winners. Sorry Lulu. Unless it's something I'm going to wear all the time no way am I paying your crazy prices.

Anonymous said...

I wear a lot of designer clothes and purses. Most recently, I went to a wedding and wore a simple dress to that wedding, paired with a $1300 LV shoulderbag. The dress...looked like I must have paid about $350 for it. Little did anyone know....it was from Forever21 and I paid $35!!!!!!! Yes, $35! I ordered it online and it took 2 days to ship to my door! voila! I had an expensive looking dress.... :)

Sourkraut said...

I think it's really cute but now you've got me worried about the price. It's hard to justify paying that much with the recent quality issues. I'll admit it's got me a little leery. This will probably be a pass for me.

Anonymous said...

OT: did the all black version of the Run Catch Me tank get uploaded on the US/Intl site? I kinda like it in all black.

Anonymous said...

I would buy this if it ended up on WMTM just like I keep hoping for the Transformation Wrap to show up there. :-)

Kristin said...

I like the design of this pullover. But like all most of you, I won't pay lulu prices for it. It's not a "have to have" shirt for me.

Anonymous said...

And what's with, the online store being so poorly run??? They never seem to restock items that sell out. rarely.... One time, a pair of shorts completely sold out in an upload....never to be replenished again. I went to a store 5 weeks later....and they had on a table, the shorts that sold out online....10 of each size, piled up on the table!!! Nobody was even looking at them or trying them on... Had they put them online, I'm sure they would have sold!! almost feels like....if you don't live near a store, well you are being PUNISHED! LOL... Not a good way...to treat your customers. Some provinces, still have ZERO Lulu stores. (And a yoga store carrying 2-3 Lulu pieces, doesn't count!)

Annie G. said...

OT: I'm not sure if anyone else has thought of this, but could the re-booting of old colors be an attempt from lulu to fix bleeding? Maybe they're testing out old brights that didn't bleed again to see if they'll bleed this time. Might help them pinpoint the problem. Anyway, just a thought.

Anonymous said...

Wow, I love it...not sure exactly what people who don't like it are looking for. Maybe Forever 21 really does have something better suited for you? I'm not into F21, its a little junky looking to me, tried to pick my niece something up there for Christmas and all the sweaters were already piling, the fabric looked cheap, etc. It took me over an hour to find a sweater and I felt awful even giving it to her, but she loves the store (she's 14!) It was HORRIBLE quality. I mean, I suppose you could find throw away items there, like you know you are only going to wear it once or twice.

Anonymous said...

I also buy the occasional thing from F21.... granted you have to look around and 75% of it is junk....but not everything..... to me, it's UNEXCEPTABLE to pay $110 for pants that pill..after a few washes. you can't tell me...that's "quality." LMAO.... lulu has been selling some junk...to its customers. And F21 and Lulu....all come from the same place--china & Bangladesh! LOL... I bet ya...the factories are right next door to each other!

Good point 6:45am! LOL

Update from last week about Beyond Yoga shirred crops... ordered the electric purple on Amazon for $57 and they arrived yesterday. I am a WU 6, ordered the small and they fit perfectly! The electric blue is close to the bruised berry though it looks really purple online. I have two kids and love how the lulu waistbands hold in the mummy tummy lol, and these do the same. They are super soft, THICK, and cozy. I don't want to take them off!! Only required a few waistband pull-ups in practice this morning (the rise is not as high as WU but surprisingly the support is still there). Highly recommend to those have been disappointed with the quality of the WU lately. These won't be my only pair! :)

The last 3 years or so....Lululemon has been 60% subpar quality....if people wanna pay $100 and up...for "subpar" quality...just for a Lulu logo....Hahhahha....you go right ahead!!! you're the one...paying for the hassle of fighting Lululemon to take your bleeding items back and your defective stitching...ect. Just not worth the headache these days. hey, go right ahead...keep up the buying and see how fast Lulu fixes it's problems.

Anonymous said...

google it. all the big name stores Nike, BR, GAP, Lucy, F21, ect..... ALL come from the same places overseas. People and sometimes children...working up to 18 hours a day, 6 days a week...in slave like conditions. Don't believe me, google it and YouTube it. Your eyes will be opened....

Anonymous said...

When there are comments on here about Lulu being a rip off and basically laughing at the people who still buy their stuff, I have to wonder why you are even on a Lulu blog if you really feel that way? If I didn't like their products or if I had any issues with quality (I haven't and I own a lot of their clothing), then I just wouldn't be here reading this blog. I would move on, seriously. Comparing LLL quality to F21 really is taking this a bit too far. And yes, to the person that mentioned it, the majority of the clothing sold in the U.S. is not produced here...not even DESIGNER clothing. I can't believe people don't know this.

Anonymous said...

Doesn't mean people hate ... for stating it's been subpar quality....I just think people are fed up with getting subpar quality. people are allowed to vent and be frustrated. We come on here and talk about, the good, bad and the ugly. Just b ecause people point out something, doesn't mean they are a Lulu hater. And I agree...does feel like Lulu has been ripping people off, in some cases. when you pay $100 for a sweater from Lulu and it bleeds and pills, it's hard for people not to feel....they are being taken advantage of! (just stating the obvious) I love Lulu clothing and have for years...but as others have stated, you cannot ignore all these serious "issues" Lulu is having.... At the end of the day, I don't want to hide my head under a rock and "pretend" everything...is just fine and dandy. knowledge is power...

Anonymous said...

if i bought a $100 sweater that bled and pilled, i wouldn't buy from that company again. you can only be taken advantage of when you allow it. hurt me once shame on you, hurt me twice shame on me :)

Anonymous said...

Not a forever 21 fan. Style and quality wise. I will spend my money where I'm happy. I don't care how lulu spends theirs but F21 is cheap and teeny bopperish IMO. Now that's feeding your money straight in the shredder. No resale value either. Yes I am still on board with lulu. I dont want a lot of cheap stuff just because I can afford it. A few good ones are all I need.

Anonymous said...

@Anon 7:18 AM - I don't think people here are necessary "laughing" at people who buy their stuff, I think they are trying to create awareness to people who buy their stuff. Not to mention, I'm sure they still LOVE lulu, but they are just disappointed with their quality. I mean, these ARE still potential customers. That's why they are still sticking around to see if lulu will step up their game.

Anonymous said...

I guess we all have to remember that we are only 'reading' comments and can't really be sure of the tone it was intended.

Although, sometimes I can't help but feel that some comments imply a "youre-a-sucker-for-still-buying" kind of message. Maybe because I've never had any problems with LLL. I appreciate feedback about quality but you don't have to look down on people who continue to love & buy LLL.

Anonymous said...

Anon 7:45, I was referring to Anon 6:55 literally laughing with her haha towards those of us who still buy LLL just for the logo (her words). Kind of insulting...why is she here, she obviously does not buy the brand anymore...I believe she said LLL has had subpar quality for three years and yet she still hangs around a LLL blog. Puzzling.

Anonymous said...

@Anon 7:54 AM - In that case, I guess Anon 6:55 was definitely laughing. I think that person is trying to be insulting so we don't buy their products. But just by the way they wrote that, it seems as though that person has a lot of hate towards lulu and is trying to convince everyone not to buy lulu. But I can totally see what you are saying how she's just lurking around here.. but her opinion obviously doesn't matter. =)

Anonymous said...

Ok, so changing the subject a bit: an Anon posted yesterday that she plans to wear a black and white Chevron striped Nike top with her new currant WUCs. If you're out there Anon, what is this too called or where did you get it? I am OBSESSED with chevron patterns. I was really hoping that these new LLL prints, blaze & ziggy or whatever, would have a bold geometric type look. But, it appears Lulu is sticking with their blurry mood (remember the fuzzy dots?). I would kill for a true chevron stripe tank.
Also, they've only released new tank styles in Power Purple so far, correct? I would love a CRB in this shade. I didn't miss it, did I?

Sharon said...

How long does LLL take to ship to California? thanks...

Anonymous said...

Oops... What is this *top* called and where did you get it? Thanks! (darn iPhone buttons)

I think it is odd someone would be mean spirited to others on a blog that is designed for people who LIKE the brand! I think most people here still love lulu - and are hoping the quality comes back. I am one of those people! Though I'm not buying Lulu items right now I still come here often because I still want to know whats up with Lulu! I've been lucky to not have bought anything with issues- other than my flash wu crops that bleed! But once I heard of all the quality issues I just stopped buying and spend elsewhere! If lulu becomes worth the price paid -then I will spend on it again, otherwise I just like to hang out here chattering about stuff I have and maybe the occasional piece I find from my local pure barre that is on sale from previous good quality times!

Don't feel hurt by anyone who wants to be nasty ladies!
Have a fantastic day!

Sandra said...

Thank you for the tip!

Anonymous said...

I don't think...anyone was meaning to be nasty. What you read....might have been "lost in translation." It was not meant to attack anyone.

I read a post yesterday or the day before...this poor gal said she returned something like $500 worth of lululemon because of being defective--falling apart, bleeding, ect.. After reading several posts similar to that...on Lulus FB Page...wouldn't you gather Lulu is selling us subpar quality??? It certainly doesn't sound to me...we are getting top quality, goods. :( Just because we point out the obvious, doesn't mean....we are attacking someone or insinuating anything. don't jump the gun!

Neph said...

Love the design, but hate those half-and-half fabric top. Make it all knit or all tencel! Or all vitasea would be nice too (the previously thicker version, not this new see-through flimsy stuff)

Anonymous said...

What happens.....if a year from now, Lulu doesn't change the direction it's going in? What next? how long of a time needs to pass before we decide to move on? I love lululemon clothing, but as someone on FB pointed out, these issues have been growing and growing for years and yet, many of us stick around...."hoping" for change. What if...things don't ever change? (Have we even thought about that yet? Are we going to think about that?) We need to start asking these questions and giving answers. It's time, don't you think?! I love having a big smile across my face, when I get my $400 order of Lulu and everything is awesome, however....no Lulu is worth crying over.

Anonymous said...

A lot of people have mentioned the lack of lightweight, summer hoodies recently.
I bought one this past weekend at Gap. It's the Gapfit Breathe Hoodie and it's very soft and lightweight, has flat seams and seems very well constructed. It's regular price online, but on sale (20% off) in stores.
I love lulu, but needed something lightweight!

Anonymous said...

I think too, people need to know....that just because someone points out something, or isn't happy about quality or service....it doesn't make them a Lulu hater! remember, Lulu is a love-hate relationship...at the best if times! :) LOL

"best of times"

Have other ladies' currant WUs shipped yet? I ordered the crops yesterday sometime late morning when it was down to 2 sizes available, and they haven't shipped yet. Usually my orders ship same day, and now the crops are sold out so I'm starting to wonder if my order will be canceled.

@Minda: it was your pic that convinced me to order them! I thought they looked silly when LLA first posted them, but now I'm going to be super disappointed if I don't get my red crops! I can't wait to wear them with all of my black tops that I feel too morbid wearing with black crops (in summer in the South, anyway)!

Guess I'm the only one who hates being around a bunch of complainers and whiners all the time! Seems I'm surrounded by them at work, on my kid's sports teams, school, etc and now this blog is flooded with negative Nellys. And no one HAS to be here, no one HAS to buy LLL! Work complaining at least MAKES SENSE bc you have to be there, lol!

BTW, I'm NOT talking about those of you on here sharing quality issues with us, it sucks and I appreciate the heads up :)

Kristin said...

@ Minda, my fellow oatmeal enthusiast LOL!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the words right out of my mouth. Right on sista. I completely agree.

H.W. said...

Hi everyone! Ok so this question is for Minda or anyone else who has bought or tried on the BY leggings. How long are they compared to the WUCs? The WUCs are an awesome length and I can't seem to find anywhere that states how long the BY ones are. Are most of BYs crops the same length?
Thank you soon much for helping:-)

Anonymous said...

If I buy Monday night it usually arrives on Thursday in Southern California.

Anonymous said...

What gets me...are the people who talk about all the things they just bought from Lulu or say they just blew $500 and then a few hours later...you hear those same people talking about all their quality issues!!! It's so conflicting to read those posts and you think, oookay.....why are you buying then?! Sends a very mixed message to people reading your posts. Why buy...and buy and buy....and then complain? I agree...makes no sense.
Singed Confused.

@ Anon 9:28 I'm glad you are looking forward to your red roos!!! Mine are the lava beyond yoga red - but bright RED is bright RED! These leggies are a perfect way to spice up your black tops! I LOVE black. lol I try not to think of it as morbid - but more classy chic! Black has never done me wrong! It eliminates the negative and accentuates the positive LOL! But I know what you mean by being in the south! everyone around me is in their aquas baby pinks and whites!
- don't get me wrong I love those colors too . .. I just love to BE BOLD! =D

Minda said...

HW! they are about the same length from what I can tell mid calf on me in the gathers. there are knee length and then full down to the ankle. The pics on their website are pretty much how they end up

H.W. said...

Thanks Minda! So if I buy just a normal calf length BY crop I can assume that it will fit similar to the WUC? I super appreciate your help:-)

Minda said...

HW - the FIT is different. the LENGTH would be the sameish - the supplex material in beyond yoga is super stretchy. I made mistake of not sizing down the first time i bought a pair. so i'm 8 in WUC i buy Medium BY. they are very soft- and i adore the material. but i dont think they are for high impact. WUC are good for all terrain I feel. . WUC when they are made right!
- Also some people have thought that the lighter colors in the BY leggings are see through! which is typical of any light color really. That doesn't stop me though . . all is covered and fine with nude or pastel thongs- i like the lulu technithong. and a longer tank top! I like to get BY when they are on mega sale mostly. I find sales a few times a year on thier site which is a major price drop and awesome and also on amazon.com
- my favorite colors are riviera blue, lava red, blush pink, electric purple, daffodil yellow, also the white and black quilts but the quilts are not as long as the gathers - they have full length of those too and are never on sale. boo quilt <3

- the BY gathered crops are what I am talking about they hit me mid calf same as WUC. I am 5'7 with a 33inseam.

-@ Kristin LOL Oatmeal!! <3

H.W. said...

Minda you are awesome!!! They sound great and I'm not too worried about them being see through because I would probably do exactly what you do- nude thong and longer top:-) Thanks for helping :-)

@ Sharon - I live in Southern California (Orange County) and if I order right at the upload (11:30 pm my time on Monday night), the order is usually shipped on Tuesday and I receive my order on Thursday afternoon. I think NorCal may get theirs a day earlier. The warehouse is in Washington State but travels via Fedex Ground which can be slow.

Sharon said...

@LuluAddict-

Thanks! I just ordered a UV half-zip this morning in the hopes I may get it by Friday..I am in NorCal. I don't think it will make it...oh well. They don't deliver on Saturday, do they?

Also-I just received my Heathered Fossil/Blurred Blossoms In Stride and while I love the color/style, it's easily 2 inches longer than my 2010 Stride and is too long for me...its also a little too big through the body, but nothing terrible. If I was 3-4 inches taller, it woudl be fine, but I am only 5'4" Will these shrink in the wash at all? such a bummer...i dont' know if sizing down to a 2 would have helped or not. Maybe I should try selling it on ebay...since it's final sale and I cannot now return it.

Kristin said...

@ Sharon,

I maybe wrong, but Fedex delivers on Saturday. They don't deliver on Sundays and Mondays (in FL). I could be wrong about that though. FYI.

Anonymous said...

i have a question and this is a repost...just wondering about the catch me tank. i assumed that the straps in the back are hooked and was wondering if there is any potential for the issue with the ?adjust me bra? think that was it.

there were some issues identified with the straps coming undone with the bra, wondered if it was at all similar design issue.

i do like the tank but was curious about feedback on support and performance before making a decision.

appreciate it, have a great day.

Anonymous said...

I agree with anon @9:36. Lately, there have been way too many complainers on here. I love reading the comments for fit advice, color comparisons and legitimate quality issues. My experience in the last couple of years with lululemon has been great. I have only had one quality issue and I have bought a lot! I think luluaddict does a great job with this blog and I hope the haters find somewhere else to spread their negativity. I still love lululemon and believe their designs and fits are still the best for workout clothing.

As long as it takes, darlin'. Feel free to jump ship anytime. You sound like you've had enough. I promise you that if ever I get to the point where you're at, I'll be fading into the sunset wearing my best lulu outfit ever. For good times' sake...

Anonymous said...

@ 6:45AM, if you're going to cap/yell "UNEXCEPTABLE" you really should get the word right. The word you're looking for is "unacceptable". Sorry, I know I sound b#tchy.

Forever 21, please don't even compare it to LLL. F21 has its place but it's not all that. Fully noted, LLL has quality issues. I personally have had no problems with my LLL gear but do agree their lack of quality control is unacceptable. F21 is mainly stuff you can treat as disposable. They know this: they cater to the very young who either don't have much money to spend or like to dispose of stuff when they get bored. However, they DO have a few great things that will hold up and it's worth checking out from time to time. Currently I have a pair of "Jackie O" type sunglasses from F21 and they are my favorite sunglasses. They cost all of $6. I rarely wear my Burberry ones anymore.

@ 11:14 AM, I think you are incorrect on FedEx Saturday deliveries. Check the FAQ or call them but I'm sure it's a No. I think if you are able to have a package redirected to a store, and the store is open Saturday, you may be able to pick it up on a Saturday.

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 9:57 AM, agreed!!! I don't get it either. I'm quite discerning about what I buy and I'm not a bank! Alas, I read this blog for info. which can be quite helpful, but we should remind ourselves that there are true shopping addicts (not jsut exclusive to LLL clothes) on here.

I have had numerous Saturday deliveries of my lulu items from Fedex, so I am with Kristin (11:14am) on this. Perhaps it's a regional thing with Fedex? I am in the Central Coast of California.

Anonymous said...

I miss shopping at the Gap. Ours shut down. The nearest gap, h&m, and lulu are all over three hours away.

Anonymous said...

AMEN. Just because you pay less for something does not always mean it's junk. Conversely, paying top dollar does not always mean you get a superior product. The difference for me is that I go to F21 to hunt for a diamond in the rough, while I *used to* go to Lulu for a sure thing...

Anonymous said...

Ordered both and arrived today. I may keep the fossil one but not sure. Doesn't look that great in person and a but cheap looking at the back. I do love the design though but not the material...so may keep one....

Thanks for the review, anon 12:46. I didn't notice at first that the back of Unity was a second fabric.

....no Lulu is worth crying over.
..except Unicorn Tears!!

Anonymous said...

@ yogibabe 7:05 PM - ah, good to know you've had Saturday delivery from FedEx. Definitely sounds like it depends on where you live as I too would say FedEx doesn't deliver on Sat. as it's not an option in my area.

Anonymous said...

Love love love this. As a dir hard fan of LLL I feel like i'd personally rather splurge alot of money on a flattering, gorg piece of clothing then go to some cheaper store and get a bunch of mediocre clothing. Thats just me though. Keep it coming LLL♥
