Upload!

I was kind of hoping for the Pow Pink No Limit tank to be uploaded tonight but it wasn't. I guess I'll be looking for it at my local store. I didn't order anything tonight but what did you all get?

I got the indigo Venus crops. Hoping it will go w my indigo stride jacket? Do u think it will match? Same color name?

I was waiting for the No Limit tank as well... Now I'm kind of annoyed that I stayed up! Just a Pow Power Y. I just don't feel like dealing with going into the store :)

Pow pink power y and Venus indigo crops!

Now I can sleep! Lol

Whoohoo, finally a restock on the Swiftly SLs for Canada (actually for some reason those were restocked earlier today or maybe yesterday). Got Bruised Berry and Pow Pink Light. Was tempted by Pop Orange and Ray as well. Also got the Pink Speed Shorts and the Sun Sprinter ones (will send one pair back)

Looks like the scuba will come out in caspian blue. Check it out with the girl wearing the Best Practice pack. Cute

rileygirl said...

Debating on the pow pink speeds and the ray sun sprinter shorts. Not sure though...

Anonymous said...

Nothing and I'm so happy about that since I've been spending way too much! The indigo venus will match perfectly with the jacket as they are the identical fabric. This is the first time in months that absolutley nothing blew me over.

What a boring upload!!! More money for Nordies sale. Frye boots, Hudson jeans, Tory Burch boots, Zella and Hard Tail active wear........LLL is losing money this week.

Got black, pow and silver power y's and a swiftly headband in pow. That's all. I bought a deep Indio denim WU pants last week at the store and I sized up so not sure about Venus crop sizing and I dont think I need another denim slub something. I like the caspian blue scuba on the model carrying the backpack though. Cheap week. Thank goodness. I'll try trinity bra and Venus tank at the store but not excited. I can wait another week for no limit tank. I could use the break. Nyt nyt...

Pow pink power y for me, but loving the look of the indigo Venus crops...I will wait to try them on in a store though.

@anon 11:31 pm. That's why I could use a break! I bought Tory burch boots, Burberry jacket and make up at nordstrom this week. I am going back there tomorrow then lulu store for my hemming items. Fun...

Anonymous said...

Love the Tory boots!! Contemplating the Tory wallet and sunnies. Oh, and just order a tank from Nancy Rose. Must feed my addiction some how!

Nothing this time. Was hoping for the NLT but no biggie that it wasn't included in this upload.

The Venus crop is the only thing I was tempted with but with international shipping fees, I need to order more than 1 item to make it worthwhile. I'll wait and see if anything good gets added to WMTM or if there'll be a 'ninja' upload this week. :)

Anonymous said...

For the gals intending to try those Venus crops in-store, let us all know what your review is... Would greatly help us gals stuck with ordering online. Thanks! :)

Anonymous said...

Have we heard any news on bleeding with the pow pink elevation stripe? At this point I'm assuming yes, but I'd be all over the Speeds if someone could confirm they didn't turn your legs pink. May just wander to the store tomorrow instead, see if the NLTs are in, that is what I really wanted!

@anon 11:27 PM
Good eye on the caspian blue Suba. Looks cute and I'll probably get it if it comes out. :)

Got the metallic silver Power Y (no chance of bleeding here and love the Pearl Luxtreme) and a pow too, (a sucker for a nice pink, but if it bleeds, it's going back this Friday when I go to the store for a look see. I usually get my upload night order on Thursday.) Figured that the good ol Power Y is a safe bet, but with all the tweakings lulu did lately...hmmm...we'll see how the fit is now, and stitching.

Going to the Santa Barbara store this Friday, so I hope to see the NLT in Pow or Caspian or...and will try the Venus Crop in the deep indigo slub.

Nite all... :)

Anonymous said...

Pow Pink Power Y. Will try one Venus Crops at the store. I'm afraid the knee will hit too low on my short legs. The upside is hat if the knee looks o.k., these would be pant length for me. ;)

Anonymous said...

Please please please do not complain if your clothes BLEED! We have been warned by numerous people for weeks and weeks!!! Buying over priced, poor quality clothing is ridiculous!!!!

Anonymous said...

I bought the pow pink in stride jacket, so so so pretty!! It better fit normally and not have sizing issues (the BB one ran at least a size larger than normal IMO)

Anonymous said...

I know what you are talking about. One item is not worth the $30 FedEx charge. Last week I ordered three things, lulu shipped only one because it turned out two were out of stock. Usually the GEC would contact me to ask if I still want the remaining item shipped (bc of the $30) but this time, they didn't. I was upset they charged me shipping for sth worth $42. I called FedEx and refused the package while still in transit. GEC refunded all charges.

Anonymous said...

Why shouldn't you share if an item bleeds?! It's helpful information at best - if you're over hearing what everyone is experiencing then hey, hop off the blog - and get back to work @LLL

Jamie Barba said...

Nothing I had to order just-in-case-it-sold-out tonight. I'll be in SoCal on Thurs & am heading to the South Coast store this weekend and La Jolla/Carlsbad next week. Hoping to try the Sun Sprinter shorts & find something in caspian blue. Loving that color! I'm also interested trying on the Covers it All dress if it's still in stores.

Amen 11:58 pm.
@11:38 anon, It's gone way beyond just sharing helpful information. I don't work for lululemon but it's obvious everyone knows brights bleed. It isn't about over hearing what people have issues with cause I can listen to lulu drama anytime! It is just more like heyyyyy don't be mad if your stuff is crap and smells like rotting fish when It arrives!!!!!
Anyway slept through upload. Didn't get anything. Lightning storms are scary right now! Cuddling with my two australian shepherds!!

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me for the first time in months. It takes over a week for my orders to arrive and I live near 3 Lulus so I'll just stop in this week and see what's in store. I am interested in the Pow Pink Stride and maybe the Venus navy denim crops.

I'm kind of sad now. I know better than to get my hopes up from pictures I see here but deep down I was secretly hoping for the Caspian Blue No Limits tanks. Nothing yet again. What's going on? I was extremely bored at work one day and looked at your old posts from a year ago and would have been going on a shopping spree every week to keep up with all of the new items that caught my fancy. Too bad I didn't know about Lulu them. I'm really trying to ignore the doom and gloom comments about how Lulu's gone way downhill but it's kind of hard after a bunch of disappointing uploads. Unlike some of you I actually *want* to spend my money and build up my Lulu wardrobe! Is that too much to ask?

Minda said...

Sorry Sourkraut!
These are the dark ages! - one of two things will happen, lulu will beef up quality and be once again an ascending star. . or POOF. a long slow death.
- we all hope lulu will beef up though! hang in there!

(oh sorry type in my above post it was 12:38 not 11:38! )

I bought the L & S bra in ray....there were no complaints of bleeding in this bra. Wanted the flash instead, but they made the back BLACK????? Was reading some reviews on a new short that came out In last weeks upload. this week, she came out in a nice blue. A lot of reviews people made online, on Lululemon...were awful!!! Seriously, don't write a review, if you don't plan on stating how the fit was for you...like TTS or I sized up, or how much you weigh and what size fit you. I was getting a little exhausted...hearing people complain it had no liner. LOL OK, it had no liner....we know and we get it....move on please! I want to hear how the shorts FIT! LOL....

Jamie Barba said...

@Anon 4:32, I read those same reviews this morning & thought the same thing!!

Anonymous said...

I LOOOOOVE those blue shorts that we're uploaded Anon. 4:41, but I'm betting the mesh gets all ratty...after one wash and that's the one thing.....that keep me from buying them!! I don't live near a store and I don't feel like "fighting with the GEC" and explaining to them with pictures, as to WHY I have to return them and then fight with them, to send me a shipping label....so I can send them back. Too much hassle for me!! no thanks.... Mesh panels like that DON'T wash well...a nd they certainly DON'T stay all pretty like that!

Kathleen said...

Has anyone noticed the lift and seperate does not even fit the model in the flash photo? Yuck, fabric puckering everywhere.

I'll give them honesty points though for not even trying to photoshop it out.

Ali said...

I ended up getting a Caspian Blue swiftly racerback to try out. I like the pale blue, and I feel like I can rock it out with tan skin! I also ended up with a Currant Scuba (which they FINALLY brought to the Canadian side!!!).

I need another Scuba like I need a hole in my arm (3 older ones from 5-6 years ago when they actually made Scubas with COOL PRINTS + 2 newer ones from 2011). But I convinced myself I "needed" it because I'm moving to the Netherlands in the Fall and need something cozy to bundle up in! Haha.

I was really hoping for some NLTs to be uploaded though. I love them so much. I hope they're released soon...

Anonymous said...

Just to continue in the theme of the previous reviewer I would love if people would actually give a few measurements in their reviews. I always say my hip or chest measurement for instance and what size fits. A lot of people say things like 'I'm 5'8" and they were long enough for me'...well an inseam measurement is more useful, height is not always a good indicator of leg length. Bra size is also not such a good measure of chest size although I suppose I could try and work out how big around the chest a '34c' is, comparing with bra sizes is only really useful if you're reviewing a bra. Also, saying your usual size Lulu or not is not that helpful. If reviewers could just get out a tape measure it would be really helpful for those of us that have to buy online.

Anonymous said...

Seems like lately...Lulu HASN'T been making clothing to work out in. The clothing is sooo darn delicate, you can only do one pose--"sit at your desk....and do nothing pose." LOL.... you CANT sweat, so you might as well just pay $60 for a shirt....to look pretty in, while you do the above "sit at your desk pose....." You sure as hell....don't want your awful, acid like (from Aliens) pH sweat, causing your colors to bleed.... Remind me again, why we buy a "less than premium brand"...with a Lulu logo?! Ohhh yes, I know...because its CUTE and it's PINK! LOL... oh yes, I forgot!!! ;)

macfrannie said...

Speaking of reviews, I've been scanning other reviews of items in that pink elevate stripe pattern trying to decide if I need a pair of those speed shorts. Has anyone heard anything about them bleeding? I guess I could order them and by the time they make it to the east coast (some time late next week) and I get home from my business trip and then add on my 2 weeks of return window it should be known. They NEVER have anything but black and the naked seam RSS in my size at my local store. So frustrating.

Anonymous said...

I own MANY flow Y bras in size 10. I'm a 36-38 DD...and a size 12 or 14 would be better in this bra, but alas Lulu doesn't go past a size 10 in this bra. The L & S bra was a dream for me. NO MORE UNI-BOOB!!! YAY!!! I bought it in the biggest size they offer online...a 38 D. It seperated my boobs and with a shirt on, makes me "look like" a B cup!!!! Without a shirt, I'm busting out a little in the center like "Barbie doll, meets porn star" LOL.... it's the best bra I have worn from Lulu, with the med. support I'm looking for. I want the bra for every day use...not working out. my only complaint....is that it's TIGHT on the back of the neck and after 5 mins. I was all red.... everything else, I was happy with! Wish Lulu would go up to 38DD... you make a 38 D, so make a 38 DD!!! ohhhh and put A & B cup sizes online too!!! lulu.....this is a no brainer, why are you always messing up!?

groovegirl said...

Nada for me on what seemed like a smaller upload this morning. I'm tempted to check out my local store to see what they've stocked. Also, I'm curious to see how Caspian compares to Angel Blue, Haze, and even Aruba.

Was hoping for a Bruised Berry CRB, but not sure if that's going to happen. In the time I've been buying lulu I've yet to visit a strategic partner store, so I might attempt that to track one down.

Got the elevation striped speeds ( will return in bleed reports surface) and LS and SS pow swiftlys. I am such a sucker for swiftlys and live in them these days. I really like the pink. I think these are the perfect gym/run shirts. I'll tuck away the LS swiftly til it's cooler.
Also got the power Y in pow, but I sense it will be too neon for me. I am not a fan of the new cut of the power Y. They are just too darn long and the material is flimsy and stretchy. I want the power Y fit/quality from a couple years ago. I'm hoping for a win though.

I was unable to log into my account this morning, even with resetting my pw. I odered as a guest thru paypal. Anyone else have an issue? That means no returns to the store if I have issues.

For any of you that bought or tried on the Deep Indigo Venus Crops, can you tell us if they gave the dreaded camel toe? If not, did you have to pull down on them to make sure they weren't riding up about to cause camel toe? I really like them but I am hesitant to buy them online if I'm just going to have to return them for that reason. Otherwise, I know I love the color and material because I already bought the In Stride in Deep Indigo slub denim.

Thanks!

Sourkraut said...

@Anon 5:07 AM - Yeah, I don't get why they don't release the L&S bra in B online. They have them in the stores but I never know when my store gets new stuff in stock since they usually don't send out an email and rarely update their Facebook page. Maybe once every two months. I'd much rather just order online. I would have snapped up that in flash this AM if they'd had it in my size. I actually like the black back with flash accent. Also silly they don't offer it in larger sizes as I think it's perfect for you gals with something up top. It seems to be a universally flattering style.

@Minda - Thanks! I will stay strong and continue to hold out hope until all is truly lost. You're making me super jealous of those ink blot crops, btw. You're rocking 'em!

Hmm, I never post my measurements in reviews. I thought I was being helpful by supplying my height, bra size, body shape, and usual clothing size. I'm really bad at taking my measurements. Never know exactly where my waist is and the hip measurement I get is usually at least 6" wider than the biggest size on the chart. That can't be right (I hope)! I guess I'm just assuming most folks have tried on Lulu gear by now so will get that if I and most of the other reviewers had to size up in a pair of shorts they might have to too. Or that since I'm small-ish chested a certain tank works on me but if you're any bigger you might pop out. I've found that when I've followed the sizing info from others who are about my size I haven't yet gone wrong.

Kathleen said...

Perhaps I am in the minority, but I would find measurements of: 35-25-35 much less useful than actual size discussions.

As a bustier girl, knowing that a tank fits a 35" bust does nothing for me: for all I know they are a 34 A/B. I care if someone has the support they need... Which is obviously quite different for women of varying cup sizes.

TTS/Size Up/Size Down is perfectly acceptable to me. It is not our job as reviewers to offer the measurements - that is Lulu's responsibility to help people buy their products. I probably wouldn't measure it the same as you anyways.... I'm terrible with a tape measure :-/

Ooooooh, have any of you tried Oiselle? I just found it online and while they don't have a ton of different merchandise, what they do have is super cute and less expensive than Lulu. www.oiselle.com and you can find more stuff on Amazon.

Hey there! I just checked the Australian website now, and there is some new uploads. There is a "ziggy squiggle" pattern for the flow y, trinity, and NLT. I'm guessing that the upload in Australia is scheduled at about 11pm local time.

Anonymous said...

Ooo thanks for the tip about the Australian site...they have the Dart&Dash shorts in Pow! Hope they make it to the US next week!

Nothing for me today--like someone else said, seems like a smaller upload. Nothing tempting!

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me.. I haven't bought anything since the ray ls swiftly and before that nothing for months.

Hit up the Nordies sale for early access last week! Vince, rag and bone, elizabeth and james.. oh my! Lulu definitely lost my money in the last 4 months. WOMP. I have enough lulu to last me years so I don't need more things that bleed all over me!

Anonymous said...

Oh the NLT is "Blazer Fossil" looks like some kind of macro zig zag or diagonal stripe? Very interesting to see if these appears in various colourways.

Anonymous said...

I was about to push the button and order the bruised berry stride jacket (along w/elevation speeds and the new venus crop) when I decided to read some of the reviews. FISHY SMELL???!! On the lilac color, at least. WTH, Lulu. I absolutely cannot believe that a company with this much product, that charges the amount they do for that product, has no quality control and makes no attempt to change suppliers!
I'm w/Sourkraut (sorry on spelling girl). I only started buying lulu last year and I feel pissed that the quality is obviously not what it used to be.
I am still going to try the crops and the shorts and will report back on fit for y'all. :)

Anonymous said...

Anyone...know how the "sun sprinter shorts" fit???? TTS? size down? the reviews on there, don't tell me much. I wear size 4 in DSP and 6 in Grooves. So anyone know? Size 4? Or size 6? help!! i like them t fit just right, not sloppy, not tight. Thanks!! :)

Anonymous said...

Also, I am super surprised to see how items such as the BB WU pants are still in stock!! People are afraid, aren't they? You gotta think the mgmt at lulu is starting to notice this crap, right?
End rant.

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me, although I really wanted the space dye wunder unders but decided to wait until upload to see if something better would come along. I had put the size 4 wunder unders in my cart two days ago and all sizes were still there last night but they were all gone this morning; ALL sizes were gone. I really wanted to know how they fit (see through etc) before I purchased. I wunder if LLL pulled them all like they pulled the mirage WU crop?

Unknown said...

I over-ordered last week and may have ended up with 2 Space Dye WUC... the additional Size 6 is scheduled to arrive today if you're interested....

Anonymous said...

What would also help is if they wrote down the model's measurements (unless I totally spaced and missed seeing this on the site). I see other sites do this. If I knew the height of the model I would approximately know where a tank would fall or a crop would stop.

I read on their FB page about someone complaining how their models are size 0 or 2 and LLL came back and said they were size 8 (or 6, can't recall now).

Anonymous said...

Btw, WUNDER UNDER GROOVES are in stock in 2 colors. I heard some people were lusting for them.

Anonymous said...

I completely agree with Kathleen @5:47-
It is NOT helpful for me when people post their measurements on reviews but height, weight AND normal lulu bra, shirt and pant size are great. If you add on to that how it fits (TTS, big, small) it is a pretty awesome review and I always appreciate those since I can't make it to the stores because we don't have one here.

Anonymous said...

Let me know! I wear a size 4 but I am 9 weeks prego... So a size 6 would eventually fit. I really want to know how they fit! I may head to the store tom and do the 2 hour drive.

Anonymous said...

FULLY OFF TOPIC and not to sound condescending, and yes, I MMOB, but why is it that lots of reviewers, both here & on lulu site can not spell the word "separate" right? It can't be the Auto Corrector on their devices.I'm fully aware this is not a blog about English grammar or correct spelling, but it hurts my eyes every time I see it misspelled and English is not even my native language. It's been happening since LLA first announced the return of this bra. My apologies in advance if anyone feels aggravated by this remark.

Sourkraut said...

@Anon 6:43 AM - As someone with many pet peeves involving misspelling and poor grammar I sympathize. That said, I imagine it's a tricky word to spell because most of us probably do pronounce it "seperately." Sometimes it's the simplest words that can catch us up.

Unknown said...

Congrats on being prego!! 2 hours seems so far to drive. I am lucky to have 2 stores near me in town. The 6 space dye fits true to size, it is a soft material (not like the slub denim pairs). My first pair arrived on Saturday so of course I've tried them on a ton already and I did not find them to be see throuh at all. I can't wait to wear them with the indigo tops!

Anonymous said...

@Anon 6:43 - I really hate when people say "no offense" or "not to sound condescending" and follow it up with a remark that is deliberately intended to serve that purpose.

Anonymous said...

Anon 11:50pm and others wondering: I have the elevation stripe pow pink pacesetter and no bleeding after a sweaty workout. However, I will add that I have never experienced a single issue, even though I own a ton of the "notorious bleeders" in flash. And yes, I actually workout and sweat in the clothing. I've also walked home from the gym in the rain wearing the clothing. So for those wondering why the new colorful items are still selling, just keep in mind that not everyone is having problems. For those that have been lucky, I do believe it's a combination of body factors (ph or whatever) and laundering methods.

@6:56
Haha, this made me smile because it is so true! I really don't like when people do that either.

Only thing I want is the new backpack and the denim boogie shorts. But I'll wait until the backpack goes to WMTM and I really have no use for the boogies...RARELY gets above 65 degrees where I live so short shorts are not needed.

This is a blog, not writing a formal letter or even an email. People sometimes just rush to get their messages across. As long as the point they are making gets across, misspellings and all, who does it really hurt? I would be so annoyed if an English teacher (a spelling OCD person or a spelling/grammar control freak) stands by my shoulder, to make sure everything is correct, before I am allowed to push the "Publish" button. So, keep the hearts light, glean what useful information you gather from here and as you already said in the opening of your post, MYOB! :)

Of course, I am signing off as:

@Anon 6:56 AM - I think in this case she was legitimately curious about why this misspelling is so pervasive and was genuinely not trying to cause offense. In this day and age it's a given that even by asking an innocent question one is likely to offend someone out there. It's best to add that disclaimer to anything one says since folks are so easily offended. My policy is not to look for offense when one isn't intended. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt even when they don't preface their statements in that way.

As I said, I sympathize because I happen to care very much about how the written language is used to communicate, especially in our digital age where so much communication is done online. It grates on my nerves whenever I see the English language misused and I'm always horribly embarrassed when I make a mistake. I'm sure that as a non-native English speaker Anon 6:43 is especially sensitive since she took the time to learn our language properly. My mom has always said how strange it is that it's the non-natives who seem to know our language best. Then again, she may be a little biased as she herself is an immigrant who later became an English major.

Umm, really Anon 6:43? I can't believe you'd even waste your own time to type that post, let alone waste everyone's time reading it. My husband is a college educated & highly successful business owner who can not spell to save his life...spelling ability is not a sign of intelligence nor success in life, it just doesn't click for some people.
I do hope by people's remarks you feel like a bit of an a$$ and take it as a sign to relax and not take yourself so seriously. Nor be so snotty.

Anonymous said...

@anon 6:43 AM and anon 7:50 AM
(I take it that you two are the same person.)
It is even more condescending when you post in German, where most of us can't understand. It makes us feel like you two are talking behind our backs! No offense, of course!

Anonymous said...

I haven't hit submit yet. I'm thinking of the Caspian blue sun sprinter shorts and black tie and fly tank. Opinions on this combo for running followed by some weight lifting?

Sourkraut said...

@Anon 7:50 - Bitterschön. We German (and German descended) girls have to stick together! I won't try to reply auf Deutsch since I'm sure I'll make far too many mistakes. As I always tell people, Ich kann Deutsch gut verstehen aber nicht so gut sprechen. Even that simple sentence probably has mistakes. :)

@Anon 7:53 AM - Not to stir up more trouble since I really like this group and don't want to alienate myself, but that's exactly what I mean by not looking for offense when none is intended. Nowhere in her post did she say anything about how this error makes her think the writer lacks intelligence.

I also think there's a cultural and language difference going on. She probably learned the proper pronunciation of "separate" and isn't aware that many of us, myself included, pronounce it differently so when trying to spell it phonetically will make that common error. I guess because I grew up interacting with a lot of Germans I'm used to the bluntness, not that this question was even asked rudely. I can't tell you how many comments about my weight I had to endure growing up because that is not a taboo subject as it is here. I hope we can drop this as she was simply curious as an outsider looking in. Not to mention that it's distracting us from complaining about Lulu instead!

Speaking of Frye boots, I am a fan of the Melissa button style boot and they now have the Jackie button button which is essentially the Melissa boot with a stacked heel. I had purchased the sun sprinter shorts when they came out a few weeks ago( end of June), and I found the fit "odd" for my body, they do say high rise but I found they fit the same as my medium rise which is good, and I normally wear a 10 in all lulu shorts, but I found them a little tight in the tummy area. When I took them back the girl asked why i was returning them and I told her about the way they felt a little tight and she said any one with a tummy feels that way with these shorts, so it wasn't just me, but if you have a flat tummy I am sure they are great, they are very light weight, but they do not have a liner if this matters to you.

Desiree & Rob said...

RE: fit of the sun sprinter shorts.
I got the BB stripe ones. I really like them. I normally get an 8 in the turbos & 8 in most crops. I bought the 8 in the sprinter shorts & they fit TTS. I would say there is a little tiny bit more room in the butt area than turbos or speeds - which is good for me. i've got a large rear.

there is no liner as has been mentioned several times. i really like it that way, - and your normal undies WON'T show through the mesh. i've already washed them (though just once) and the mesh came out just fine.

the waistband is also much bigger than speesd or turbos, but i think the shorts sit on your waist/hips at about the same place, the waist band just drops lower.

all in all, really good shorts. i'd recommend them. :)

anon 7:31, interesting they sent you a card on how to care for/wash your item. Obviously the bleeder returns made their mark.

Grammarians...well it's very refreshing to hear that people still care about spelling and grammar. I myself am on the side of always getting it correct. However, I swear that when I write my comments here, I always make an error. Having said that, it is JUST informal blog comments and not an essay, business report or business email, sooo "whatever"!

I can't resist and I will say that another word (not just here, everywhere it seems) that people cannot get right is: DEFINITELY. People love to use that word (albeit, misspelled) a lot! I also hate the use of "fav" when it should be "fave" for the informal use of "favorite". Sorry, I'll stop now!

In our text message butchered world, this is the way it goes.

Apologies to anyone I've p!ssed off.

i find it more crazy that the topic is being blown out of proportion.....when something offends someone, just ignore it. it goes away. lol. everyone is just dragging the topic out.

i thought this is a lulu blog.....not some catty "i think this..." "omg, this annoys me but..."

let it go. OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM :)

Yes, the Frye Veronica boots in distressed brown leather and black are on sale for $192 and $179 respectively. They are a biker style though, and don't appear slouched to me.

Anonymous said...

A little OT but I ordered a pair of rhythmic crops from ivivva in a size 14 (I am a lulu 4) and they are awesome. They are made out of luxtreme I think and have this crazy awesome print but that is not see through at all. You would think so because they seem lighter but really nothing at all and I bent over to try and see if anything would show.

They are not hemmed at the bottom but for 48 dollars instead of 72 I really dont mind!

Thanks Unknown 8:19am now I just have to find someone with a Nordstrom card so I can get them early. I wonder if I can apply and get approved for a card immediately.

Anon 6:43...I know you meant your remarks in a way that is sensitive to cares about language. Obviously you have touched a nerve! Don't worry that people are getting all nasty on you here. People clearly just love a fight. I'll take a grammar tip/correction any day over the nasty, bitchy attitudes!

Sourkraut...I've read many of your open, honest and intelligent comments on this blog, I think you're cool.

Also..thanks DebbieTurko on your review of the shorts! :)

Anonymous said...

Okay, Sourkraut (Anon 7:43 here), you win, she didn't say that spelling errors indicated a lack of intelligence, but then I must ask, what exactly was she saying? What was the implication? There must be some reason that this misspelling annoys her...I mean, come on. I apologize for jumping to conclusions that she was saying it was due to a lack of intelligence, but in all fairness, I was just hoping to get a point across that it just shouldn't be a big deal, great people make mistakes, get on with you life, get over it. I'm just so annoyed that you would pick MY post apart when I said nothing offensive. What gives?

@ Anon at 8:23 I'm pretty sure you can get your nordies card ASAP, they want you as a customer. I use the personal stylist service and LOVE it. I felt a little decadent at first but I've gotten over that. Having them know my likes and dislikes and sizes etc has really streamlined my shopping and I've tried some things that I normally wouldn't have thought to. I've also learned a lot about styling and how to accessorize and get the most out of my outfits. I highly recommend the service if you haven't tried it. and best of all, it's free. :) If you live near Dulles Town Center, I'll even go with you.

I love me some Nordies. I just wish I liked Zella and Hardtail more because the customer service is the bombdiggity.

anon @8:18. i wish i had a simple yes or no for you. i haven't tried on DSP, but i wear my usual crop size 8 in grooves - which is the size i got for the sprinter shorts. so, i would probably recommend the 6 for you.

This lovely morning I decided to put on my chirp power y tank after not having worn it in a year or more. Oh, the difference in feel it is to the tanks produced now. It's so soft and the fit is perfect, feels durable. It makes me yearn for the smaller, quality focused LLL of yore. I would still consider LLL in the future, but I think it isn't the automatic "go to .....duh!" place for my workout wear. It is an unfortunate but definite slow transformation underway.

DebbieTurko said...

I think I might order the size 12 in the sun sprinter shorts since I really did like them , ooohhh so torn on what to do! and looking at the pictures of them, i think I felt they were a little tight right where the seam of the waist band and shorts join together so going up a size might be ok for me.....ahhhh hate making these decisions

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:33, I agree about LLL not being that "go to" anymore and I really want to find a replacement but just haven't! So frustrating! I "like" some of the other brands out there, but nothing like LLL used to be.....sigh...

I have been hoping that they lulu puts out more gratitude wrap or method wraps but until then Nordstrom will be getting my hard earned money.

These forums were not created to give lectures on grammar, so sorry to those who are peeved. What I don't understand is why people with such huge issues with grammar would dare come on such an ungrammatical site and put that added unnecessary, what appears to be stress on themselves? Why not go on HookedOnPhonics.com and get happy?

Thank you!!!! We are excited! It is a far drive but I have had to make it several times in one week because my items have been really "off" lately. I had two pairs of wunder under crops that were sheer and one gave major CT and then my BB define was coming apart and I just returned my pink define cause I hated the orange stitching. So far I have only had luck with 2 tanks and an indigo ebb and flow crop. Those are pretty sturdy, at least the ones I got. I feel like the wunder under crops keep getting softer and thinner and see through. Do you really think the space dye WUC sold out in all sizes last night? I swear all sizes were there before the upload...

With that no purchase for me last night. Still waiting on Caspian CRB and Pow NLT.

Unknown said...

I have no clue why they were removed from the site... they were there in all sizes last night, you're right! The pattern in the space dye masks any sheerness that might be happening. (the 2nd pair just arrived... I bought one with PayPal and didn't like the PayPal delay so I got the 2nd pair with credit card!) I can confirm that they have the triangle gusset...so if that causes CT for you that could be an issue... I also have the indigo ebb & flows and LOVE them. I think the black ones are more sheer for some reason. Have a good drive to your store... I'm going to return these space dyes today unless you are interested!

alright! my Review of Engage bra. I bought the bright orange one in a size 12 and I'm a 38 DD. OMG.....Sooooo comfy!!! No spillage, side boob or uni-boob like I get from the Flow Y bra. straps were adjustable and this bra seemed to Seperate my boobs well! It didn't tug at my back and straps seem to be well made. stitching was also very well made and my bra was made in China. my only complaint.....is that there is a seam line going down the front of each breast, on the material. they should have done the line on the INSIDE of the bra, because when I put a shirt on....I can see the line on each boob THROUGH the shirt!! even with a tank I can see the line. Nice bra overall, but what a bu mmer to see this line going over each boob! This again, tells me...Lululemon DOESN'T test their clothes on real people, before shipping out to stores! Great, comfy bra for D and DD girls--IF you buy the right size! :)

Re: Sun Sprinter Shorts. I wear an 8 in most bottoms (Run: Inspires, WU, Grooves, turbo shorts) but size up to a 10 in Speed shorts. The 8 fit me perfectly in the Sun Sprinter Shorts and I found them very flattering. However, I don't like that they don't have a liner so I didn't buy them.

Lol Sourkraut @ 5:36am re: measurements. I have the same problem. I wear a size 6 or 8, but according to my own measurements I can't even squeeze into a 12. What's up with that? NOO what a bummer to hear the recent space dyes have the triangle gusset!!!!!! I'm so sorry! I was really hoping they were just restock from what they put out in December. Truly my most hard working wu! but mine have oval gusset.

RunLiketheWind said...

I bought the elevation stripe in the Sprinters, and they were wonderful except for that waistband. It claims to be "high rise" but that only means that the Luxtreme band is wider, and the rise itself is shorter. The style makes it necessary to wear the shorts low on the waist so you don't experience ride-up in the front or back, so...major muffin top. I tried on a larger size in the store, and it made all the difference in the world, i could wear the waistband low like I wanted without the squeeze factor. The legs were a little looser, but it wasn't sloppy at all. I'm 5'10", though, so my torso is longer than average anyway. A more petite gal may have no issues at all.

SUN SPRINTER SHORTS - i got the BB elevation, and just picked up the pow pink yesterday. i LOVE them. i typically wear a 6 in lulu pants, crops, skirts, and groove shorts - i sized up to an 8. if you stick TTS and don't have a perfect tummy, you're probably risking muffin top. but whatever size you wear in the speed shorts should be sufficient in the sun sprinter.

as many reviewers mentioned they are NOT high rise, like lulu claims - they're a low medium, hit about the same spot as WU i think (i mean, just look at the model - these are not high rise shorts!). the length and hem sweep are perfect - i'd say these shorts hit the sweet spot between the speeds and turbos. love that the pocket is on the side instead of back - i can fit my iphone in it! i've worn and washed the BB several times - no problems with the mesh. first time i wore the BB (kayaking), they bled all over. i washed them, and the next time i wore them (white water rafting and then kayaking), no problems. and no, they don't have a liner, but i don't mind. they've become my "multi purpose short" - i can throw a pair of techwick undies on for a run, or bathing suit bottoms for water sports. they're coming with me on a 4 week backpacking trip - it's convenient to be able to bring i pair of shorts and 2 pairs of undies! if they had a liner, they'd probably JUST be run shorts...but without the liner they've become my everything shorts. and they're long enough/leg narrow enough that i can stretch without feeling like im flashing everyone. maybe they're not for everyone, but i suggest trying them because i'm in love!

Would it make sense that when Lulu pulls all sizes of an item it could be because their stock didn't arrive when expected? Just a thought because stuff generally reappears and we all know they don't care about quality issues!

MandyPots said...

Re: bra size versus measurements. I was always under the impression that the number indicates the measurement around your chest underneath your breasts and the cup size indicates the measurement around at your largest point. A=1", B=2", C=3" and so on. So a woman reporting a bra size of 34C is 37" around at the sweater kittens.
Either way, the info is useful. I find most of the LLL tops that I pass on are due to tightness around the ribs. I am only a 34B, but my back is increasingly muscular. I wear an 8 in most tops.

Uh oh. I was just looking at the indigo Venus crop and noticed they included this disclaimer in the description: "In our quest to colour your world, it's important for us to acknowledge that you may experience colour transfer with some of our bright and vibrant gear." Is this new? I don't know whether to be amused or shake my head in dismay as it continues to appear that they're not doing anything to actually fix the bleeding/transfer issue. They're just coping with the returns and complaints on a case-by-case basis and have now given themselves a nice out if someone does try to complain in the future. I'll be curious to read reviews of that crop to see if folks do have that issue.

@ MandyPots: I am a 38 DD and wear 8s & 10s in Lulu tops to make room for the girls. I hate when I top looks too big or too tight. one time, I was in a Lulu store and the girl was like, "WHY are you buying an 8 or a 10...you clearly look like a size 6!" I was like ummm...is there something wrong with someone going up a size or two to make room for the girls??? She was like no, but I think you look like a size 6 in our tops. I left...with a size 8 and the 8 didnt look too big on me! sometimes..it "feels like" people who work at Lulu are obsessed with you.....being a smaller size. LOL

I tried the free mind crops yesterday. Awesome, comfortable fabric, cute design--they are high waisted and light. However, I have a more straight body vs curvy, and the fabric draped more on the inside of the knee area--made me look knock-kneed. I think they will look better on someone with a more curvy body. Will try them on again to make sure, as I own ALL of the harem/drop-crotch pants (except one style). I Love them.

Wait till you ladies hear this...

I just got last week's upload ordered and tried on my Run engage bra. Fit like a dream! Really comfy and supportive, super soft yummy luxtreme.

Then as I was reading this blog about checking seams for shoddy stitching ) checked mine and noted the thread used throughout is DIFFERENT COLORED!

One is muted orange, the other is bright bright orange. To be fair, the inconsistent thread is at least symmetrical so I checked the website to see if this was just some funky design - it is not. The website shows the thread to be the same color throughout the bra.

So if it matters to you, please start checking your seams to ensure the thread is consistent throughout the piece as well.

Are you kidding me?!?!?! Had it not been for this blog, I wouldn't have checked or noticed until at least several uses later.

Thank you to the ladies who keep us all informed. I <3 you in all your improper grammar and misspelling glory.

Kathleen said...

Typically this is close to the case... However sometimes it is "off", especially for smaller girls. I have a 30" ribcage... So my 32DD is another girl's 34 A/B which are VERY different to know without bra size. If I gave my measurements as 35-24-35 you would probably get a very different picture of my body type.

It's interesting to know why people might default to call out their measurements different ways in reviews - I had never thought it might be better for other girls with differing needs. In the future I may include a few more than just those that I find most relevant for reference.

My first post here... I am so happy to find a place with some useful reviews of LLL stuff.

Anyway, I ordered the Trinity Bra -- it looks a little high in the front, but I wanted it to fit under the Velo Vixen Jersey I bought a month ago. I am 'old school' and I like my bras to be hidden -- Lulu didn't have any bras that would fit the bill for the cut-in armholes, so I'll see if this works. I bought several of the cycling pieces and they are too long, but they are so cute, that I'll just work with them. I used to have a small clothing design business, so I am surprised that they produced cycle clothing that was so at odds with what is known to work. Especially after they made the SPecialized Team line earlier in the year. Its as if two totally different designers worked on these and they didn't field test the more recent line.

Also, my take on the lift and separate bra -- I bought one about two years ago (manifesto). It was my first LLL and I hate it! I am a 34B/C and it just flattens me. Plus it's too low to use in any form of exercise that I do. Its tight around the ribcage and behind the neck and the lining is tighter than the outside fabric in the area above the breast, so it has puckers, just like in the LLL web pictures.

Since I am relatively new to LLL, I can't compare their quality, but 'testing' products on their customers is a bad idea if they want to stay in business, esp with the excitement that they have generated up until now.

MandyPots said...

I have been pressured into purchasing a smaller size on a few occasions and have heard it happening to other guests while in the dressing room area. Sometimes it works out, but most of those items I have resold or given to my smaller sisters. I only want size consistency, the number (6 vs 8 vs 10) I am over worrying about. I feel like lately all the tops are longer and leaner than in the past. Anything with sleeves is a joke-LLL is not designing for women with much muscle. If I had much of a chest I would have even fewer options.

Anonymous said...

I just looked at my pop orange Engage bra and same thing, a bright orange and muted brownish orange. I hardly even noticed (until 11:14 said something) and in my opinion, it doesn't look bad or even bother me. maybe lulu did this for color contrasting??? looks fine to me, although Lulu should have just stuck with the "bright orange" threading all throughout... my bra is "made in China" very well made, no loose threads and NO COLOR BLEEDING! YAY!!! :)

I just received my order from last week, which included Pow/Metallic Silver Run: Inspire Crops. They fit like a dream! No muffin top. I'm convinced that it may have been that time of the month for the model, because we all know that her body is banging lol!!

@ MandyPots

SWEATER KITTENS, BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Freaking hysterical!

@ Minda,

I know. Not too happy but not too sad either. I have hope. In my experience, I've found that it's not the triangular gusset that is the issue. I found it was the placement of the gusset. I have a ton of crops/shorts w triangle gussets and they don't give me a CT. But the latest batch of lulu crops gave me CT bc the gusset was below my a$$ and not my lady parts. Now, that's my experience. So.....I'm hoping that the placement of the gusset is different in the space dye WU. Lulu can make the gusset circular or rectangular for all I care, but just put it under my lady pieces. BTW, I now want those inkblot tights. ADORABLE, CUTE, and HOT! I'm quite jealous of you and yogibabe--rockin those tights.

@ Anon 6:29
Lulu models are a size 6.

Nothing for me. It seemed like a small upload. I am waiting on the NLT, like everyone else!

Anonymous said...

I ordered the Space Dye WU a day after they were uploaded and they shipped out yesterday. So the stock was there. Maybe they were pulled to show up next in WMTM?

I think it was mentioned on here before, but Body Language Sportswear has some really nice crops - particularly the ruched top ones. The crop part is black and the ruched part comes in different, lovely, colors. No risk of MT because there's a lot of give built it.

No see-through issues, triangular gusset but I don't get CT so it must be the placement.

I pretty much just guilt wear them LOL But I do love the print. - Also the inkblot crb - though its not as soft as the solid ones - I'm down for the print!
Finally these WU! If you can find a pair I totally suggest snagging them! Mine have a nude colored oval gusset - and they are really fun! I saw a pair of concord grape WU at my pure barre today and I totally want them!!!
Any way, splits59 dusty legging has a sideways gusset that is directly in the middle. also from what i saw of nancy rose crops its in the middle too and oval.

@ Sourkraut 11:08 AM, no that disclaimer is not new. They've been putting that on various (if not all) products for a while/over the past year. I think they started adding this, along with the link to washing/laundering instructions when they introduced Paris Pink. Others can correct me if I'm mistaken.

Anonymous said...

I am pretty sure that the "this may bleed" disclaimer comes up for each item, regardless of the color. May be wrong though...

Also, I love Germans, grammar AND lululemon. Can't we all just get along?

Sourkraut said...

@Anon 12:09 PM - Hmm. I notice you opted not to use the Oxford comma there. Interesting... :P

I guess I must have missed seeing that note sooner. Time to turn in my detective badge since I'm obviously not very observant!

I have to admit it. I thoroughly enjoyed this whole series of comments, which I read from start to finish--all 137 of them.

Where else can I get discussions on grammar, spelling, colorfast fabric, the merits and downsides of using measurements versus using sizes, and even a few sentences in German?

Love it. Seriously.

Also, I ordered nothing from this upload. I might pop into my store and check out the new Power Ys in Pow and metallic silver, though. I want to actually try them on because I wonder if I might want to size up, what with the recent changes that some people have noted.

@ Minda,

I forgot to share my experience w/ my new BY original leggings. I had my first workouts in them yesterday. I was somewhat skeptical about them. They are the opposite of what I look for in leggings. My fav type of leggings are any Lulu luxtreme knee-length crops. I love the lightness of the material and the compressive feel. I am a runner, and most of my workouts are high intensity. When I put the BYs on, they felt like a dream though, very soft w/ no muffin top. I thought they would fall to my ankles during my workouts yesterday bc they kinda "float" around my waist and hips. I taught a muscle class and high-intensity interval class. Lo and behold, they stayed in place and felt amazing. My sweat may have been the glue that prevented them falling down, I dunno. But I do love them and was very surprised. So thx for the tips and advice on BY. (I haven't washed them yet but I will wash them inside out.) Thx again

Since Lululemon was born in Vancouver B.C Canada...I thought you All might find this interesting. It was all over the news today that aliens were spotted in B.C! (For real!)
"Canadian Mounties were dispatched late Sunday to a Port Coquitlam, B.C., condo after two people ran screaming from their patio from a pair of what they described as “non-human entities. RCMP Sgt. Grant Wong said that a search was conducted, but police couldn’t locate the alleged extraterrestrials at the home."
Now I really want to check BC out! :) I wonder if these aliens, had the current WUs in ray???

BTW, It really pulls me down when the LLL community gets cranky and put it in words. I wish they would just keep it to themselves. Personally I think negativity is contagious. I apologize to Anon 8:44 AM if I remarked about my Nordstrom purchases. Did not expect the "High Class" problems comment. I am just a rancher's wife. I have always liked LLL since it used to be really good athletic clothes. They make you feel right about buying them at a higher price. Same with my Nordies stuff. Thank you all... See you soon.

I KNOW 12:44....I burst out LAUGHING when I read that online, in 3 papers! LOL.... I think it's high time, we "ask the aliens" about Lulu's "color bleeding" problems! Since Lululemon can't seem to come out with any answers for us....as to the "why?" maybe the aliens will share their thoughts.... :) Hey, I've seen it ALL....on here, so I'm guessing anything is possible!! LOL Good gawd, maybe the entire lot of them, from Lulu, are from another world!!

For those interested in the Venus tank...this tank is TIGHT. I tried to try it on it my usual size 6, and I couldn't even get it over my head! The bra band was just so tight!

Another thought....
Its a possibility, that the 2 people who ran off their patio....claiming they saw alien beings, might have previously absorbed harmful chemicals...from color bleeding, from Lulu gear! I hear the chemicals (possibly from another planet--forget it being from China) can react to a persons pH and can cause severe delusions!!! People seeing aliens running around the woods, in WUs!! Crazy.... I need to stick my head in a large Lulu shopper bag and HIDE!!! Holy moly...where's Will Smith when you need him???

Ha! I'm posting this just to contribute to the goal of 200 posts!!! Now to think of something to say.... Hmmm... Oh actually I got my order from last week and the engage bra is wonderful (but why doesn't it come with cups??) and if anyone is contemplating the roll down shorts I suggest you size DOWN! Got my regular size and am a bit worried that there is too much leg opening. I am worried about flashing people my liner when I jump or squat.... But dont want to return them as its such a hassle and they are lovely. But i also don't want to be "that" girl that shows too much skin working out. I'm no gym hussie!

Hi Anon 1:25 pm! Is the bottom section of that venus tank soft and stretchy or restrictive? I can't quite tell if it is a straight cut down or if it has an A line. Thanks for any more input!

Anonymous said...

I suspect...the aliens have been "beaming out" all the bust cups....out of all our Lulu bras!!!! Damn aliens!

Anonymous said...

That's it! They've hired the aliens to do the sewing!

Silly aliens, you can't sew!

just my space dye wuc and coal wunder grooves. to my dismay, both are thinner than the last pair of wunder groove crops i purchased in may..i miss the thicker luon! is this seasonal (something i read that an educator claimed) or is the thicker luon gone for good? both have the triangle gusset but no CT issues here, and were both made in canada. sad thing is the space dye's are a bit on the shiny side. i sized down cause the last ones i bought keep creeping down during my workouts.

I mostly adore the Zella clothes that I have (although I only have a few items at present). BUT there is one drawback to the Zella skirt that I have. It doesn't have the sticky stuff on the inside of the undershorts. So the shorts tend to ride up under the skirt. I spent half of my Zumba class today pulling the legs of the undershorts back down again. Sigh.

Maybe the Lulu designers shares their bath salts with those people?

anyone notice the scarf the model is wearing on the main page? well, she's wearing two, but i love the one that is flowing out behind her...

@ Anon 1:49pm
Are space dye WU sheer? I don't mind the thinner luon (I live in FL, sooo hot) of the WU but I DO mind the sheerness that tends to accompany the latest batch of WU. I also was told by an ed that the thinner luon is manufactured for the summer months. Yay that they are made in Canada! Thx again for your feedback!

Poll: if there was to be a re-release of the Live Simply and the Sing Floss Travel jackets, which would you pick and why? (Assuming you can only have one and the colors would be amazing and the same in both...) Thanks... I'm already thinking of cozy jackets for Fall after looking at the Nordie sale!

OT. I would really love a my mantra LS in the caspian blue, also I have to say even with the friendly lulu educators I have spoken with I m getting a little tired of having to call and request the cup inserts every time a place an order...........

Did anyone find a need to size down in the no limits tank? I have two in 8 and I find them a bit on the long side

Sourkraut said...

Kristen, I am solidly between a 6 and 8 in Lulu tops and go with the 6 for No Limits. It's loose and flowy on the bottom so I can get away with the smaller size since I'm pretty small up top (34B) and my aim is to hide my belly. Despite the looseness I find it to be a really flattering top. Makes me look long and lean. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on.

Kristen said...

Thanks Sourkraut that's what I needed to know

Anyone know what happened to the run rest pullovers?!??!?? They were fully stocked!!!!! Wtf!

Yes!!! it was them aliens from B.C!!! Next time I see them, I'm going to ask them if they can zap my boobs from a DD cup to a B! If I ask them nicely...I'm sure they won't mind helping me out! cheaper than a boob job, anyways... :) Gosh darn it, I knew I could find a solution!

yogibabe said...

Okay...just have to do it for the 200 posts. Aliens, We Are From Space, Space Dye and now...Venus Tank and Venus crops. I see a pattern here! ;P

@Kristin
Do your hunting for the Inkblot WU or Yin To You. Then we three, (you and I, and Minda!)all matchy-matchy and rocking it!!! "Inkblot Girls, and Not Afraid To Rock It"!

Anonymous said...

AND!!!!! ...it will save me a lot of money, not having to pay for a boob job and I'll have extra cash to spend at "Nordies" on Frye boots!!!

Regarding the pow/metallic silver inspires, my pair was horrible, gave me severe muffin top (usually not a problem for me). I am glad that some pairs of the new inspires are working out for some, but just like everything Lulu lately, I think there are a lot of cut, sizing, and quality inconsistencies.

@10:22 a.m., the seams on my bruised berry Define were also shoddy. Right around the chest area, where the logo lines meet. And all of the bruised berry jackets were shoddy, not just the one. They're having a tailor resew it. We'll see how that goes. If not, they're going to take it back as damaged.

Anonymous said...

Regarding the receipt for a damaged item return saying "re-sellable," I've seen that, too. And the items did indeed end up back on the shelves, waiting for a less scrutinizing sucker.

Has anyone here ever tried mink eyelashes???? I'm dieing to try that!

My Run Rest pullover was delivered today. Can't remember who here recommended it but THANK YOU! I.love.it.

@3:04...that's just about as bad as the video I saw of the women buying panties and then returning them and the store saying their DONT put them back on the floor, not ever....but then of course she marked the tag, and YES it was BACK ON THE FLOOR for resell! OMG!!! YIKES! You mean...I might catch someone's Lulu cooties?!

Anonymous said...

just noticed a new flow y bra on the aussie wbsite. ziggy wee caspian!! gorgeous! i think thats what the women is wearing in the pants banner! the pattern is the same. maybe they will upload that next week? i am all over that pattern.:)

Haha! Nice!

Minda and Kristin, thank you both so much for your input on the BY bottoms with a high impact workout and the NR oval gusset!

Good news for me since I have been hesitating with these two brands until someone addressed those issues!

Greatly appreciate your reviews and thoughts!

I just tried on my Space Dye WU and these are not sheer and no CT. My hips are 35 inches and I ordered TTS, size 4. I noticed these crops still have the triangle gusset but it's a little smaller.

Bought a black Deep Thoughts scarf for 39.00 at the outlet today. I really love this scarf but I refused to spend 78.00. So glad I waited.

I tried on the Venus top today ... very cute on pow Pink! I agree that it's not TTS. I usually take an 8-10 in Lulu tops due to my bust size (36DD) I tried the 8 on ... yeah, rightm, not gonna happen! The 10 was snug in the bust but good through the hips area, and I'm curvy. I had to go up to a 12 t really look good through the bust and I've never had to do that in a Lulu top before, with the exception of the Stuff Your Bra tank. I also through it would be too long .... I really liked it though!!

For those of you in the Vancouver area, no stores have the Venus in the Mirage print yet. Only online ... and almost sold out already :(

I took a quick look at the Flash Lift and Separate and it's not reallly the same flash color as I have at home in many tops/bras. It was nice, but it was definitely a different shade. Or mabe my eyes were playing tricks on me ...

The new Trinity bra was HORRIBLE on me! It sits way too high and cuts into the side of my boobs.

Interestingly enough I got into a "discussion" with an Educator who wanted to "educate" me on why some of my items are bleeding!! Of course it's all MY fault, my crazy PH balance and all ... funny she had nothing to say when I told her to explain that apparently my WASHING MACHINE has the same crazy PH balance because they bleed then too!! Like really Lulu??? Just accept that the product is slipping (as I have!) don't try to deflect and blame me.

@Yogibabe - don't forget the RAY gun !! Lulu is totally marketing to their Alien clients via naming of garments! I wonder if the intergalactic shipping prices are any better?

lol should we just got inkblot crazy? Isn't there an inkblot scuba on wmtm? hahah!

What ever happened to Lulus mantra...."say noooo to cameltoe!?"

Anonymous said...

Bhahhahahhahhaa MInda!!! oh no...I hope the aliens don't ever get cameltoe!!

yogibabe said...

Hey Minda, I'm actually watching the Men In Black extravaganza with my son, right now. Elbow deep in aliens! Heehee! If I see any wearing lulu leggings, I'll sneak a peek for CT. Will confiscate their ray gun first! lol!

OH NO! I just pictured William Shatner (Orig. Star Trek) with a green alien girlfriend, who has CT because her Lulu doesn't fit right! Scary.....
