Upload!

Nothing for me tonight. I'm tempted by the Power Purple Define but since I bought two in July not sure I need another one. What did you get tonight?

The aussie side has a currant CRB - where's ours? That's all I wanted! Blergh.

Anonymous said...

Currant Stride. Was hoping tonsee some CRB's being that it is Summer and it's hot, but not this upload.
OT any word on the Pow Pink Defines being bleeders or not?

McKenzie said...

Crossing my fingers none of the currant tanks bleed. It truly would look like blood...eww.....

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. Only slightly tempted by the currant Power Y - just hesitant of bleeding (does anyone know?).

Was hoping for a caspian ziggy WUC. WU Pants isn't really practical here. Crops are hot enough as it is.

Maybe it's finally time for me to get a new Mat. I've been delaying it for a while now.

Laura said...

I got a Currant In Stride. Soo can't afford it right now but I love the colour. Hoping it's more saturated than the Scuba.

Anonymous said...

I like the free to be bra in caspian blue, but I just got the same color bra in the flow y. I like both styles, though I do not need them in the same color!

Anonymous said...

A whole lotta nada for me, which will make both my other half and bank account happy. Not loving these late summer prints and designs... The zigzag prints remind me of Grandpa's sweater. For now, I am hoping the Sun Sprinter crops make it to WMTM soon!

Anonymous said...

That Every Yogi LS in Bold Stripes/Indigo is anything but "new". I have had it for months, since last year maybe?

Anonymous said...

Ziggi zag print is hideous in any colors they want to use it!! Ugly uglier ugliest print I've seen in years!

Anonymous said...

Boooooring. Having given up on a bruised berry CRB, I was hoping for a casual one. Or a restock of the Engage Bra. Or a new colour (Indigo!) in the Run: Bound Bra. Or a new colour in the Swiftly Racerback. Or an Indigo Tie & Fly restock. So nope, nothing for me!

Anonymous said...

Not really a fan of these dual/combination fabrics. Turned me off the Unity Pullover and Be Me Tee.

yogibabe said...

Just a currant Power Y. Was hoping for the WUC in ziggy wee, but no dice. The WU pants are just too long and too hot for me too. Be silly to buy the pants and have them hem it to a crop. That will be a waste of money! (This was as actually suggested by an GEC, haahaa!) So, still hoping for the crop version. Was tempted my the Free to Be bra in caspian and pow, but resisted since I already owned too many lulu bras. A cheap upload for me. Are we ever going to see the DSJ in any new colors? Please!!!

McKenzie said...

@ Anon 11:45, maybe it's "New and Improved" ugh...hate that phrase. Such an oxymoron!

Ashley said...

Just the power purple pace setter for me. Honestly, I got all excited about this upload and then it was a let down. Oh well, better luck next week.

Anonymous said...

OMG just check out the banner on the "what's new" page!! The model is wearing what looks like the Daily Tank in Currant and her booby is half OUT in that pose!! WTH?! I just ordered it!!

McKenzie said...

Does anyone actually own a Perfect Layer Top? They look so...cheap! And for $58 I feel like I'm being tricked. Do these shirts lay golden eggs, or have some special pheromones??

Anonymous said...

I have a Perfect Layer Tee... and I totally regret taking the tags off! Its definitely not worth the price :(

yogibabe said...

The Deja Vu Scarf is too bulky for me. However, am loving the color of deepest cranberry!!! :)

Anonymous said...

LOVE the ziggy prints... got both the colors in XL cool racerbacks. I think they'll look awesome with blue or red regular crb's layered over the top! Oh and the grey iconic wrap... so pretty and versatile!

Anonymous said...

I got the virtuous tank. It is my first order in a long while. It may not work for me but I want to give it a try! I am also tempted by the purple denim gather & crows but not ready to pull the trigger on those yet.

Anonymous said...

And just when I thought my wallet was safe this week, I wander into WMTM and... Flow and Go Tote just dropped to $69!!! Got myself a black but now I'm worried that these are returned stocks... Oh well, good discount so I'm happy.

Amy b said...

The new running pants are 98.00? Yowza!!!!

Anonymous said...

The pure balance water bottle comes in a color called "flare". Is that new? Looks similar to flash, but more orange.

Amy b said...

Cheap upload for me. I have got to cool it for a bit!! Haha! I got the stripe long sleeved yogi t shirt. Bummed somebody said its not new! Oh well.... I am new to LLL so it's new to me!
I also got 2 headbands (cause I need more! Ya right!)
The gray zig zag stripe and the reddish hued one that looks like70's carpet. I think it's cute in a very small amount. I repeat... Very small amount! Haha!

Anonymous said...

Where was the Angel Blue energy bra????? ='(

Anonymous said...

There is a new scarf on a new print, shown on the Aussie website main page, on the pic for gift cards. Looks like the Burberry colors, brown/caramel and black.

Anonymous said...

Got the iconic wrap (wee) and currant power y! The wrap has mixed reviews but looks like a good basic. Off to bed! (US)

Anonymous said...

Can we please talk about the fact that it's 3:45am in New York and I got up to check the upload and order Lululemon?! I have serious problems..... =)

Anonymous said...

I thought the Speed Squad tank is super cute, especially with any running crops! I love how it's longer in the front to cover any potential camel toe. ;)

Anonymous said...

I use to spend..tens of thousands and now nothing..... LOL..... Boring! I love the OM Tote...but $128??? I have 4 Huge Lulu bags, much nicer than this at a fraction of the price! Didn't buy them on sale either--$78 and $98! I'm somewhat tempted, but that's a lot of money for an overnight bag. LOL.... I think....it will be a pass for me. I still have my purple fast and flight bag and it's like new! :)

LC said...

@yogibabe One of the girls in my local store suggested the same thing when I was talking about the currant WU and explaining that I like the crops better (this store didn't have the crop). I thought it wasn't a bad idea until I realized the pants are $10 more!
I"m with anon 11:37, I just wanted a currant CRB, so nothing for me tonight.

Anonymous said...

I love the purple crops...But sooo afraid of BLEEDING!

Anonymous said...

Gather & crop....how do these fit??? I wear size 6 in Grooves, but often size down in a lot of crops. Reviews of this crop online are not very clear. Sometimes, I wonder why people even write reviews if they say, "These fit great....I bought my regular size..." ???? LOL Your weight and height are always helpful!!! And if you sized up or not?!

Patty said...

I got the power purple pacesetter and the ziggy caspian WU's - figure I'll return if I don't love them, and I am in the market for a new pair. Want to try on the new tank styles - intrigued!

Sourkraut said...

@Anon 3:24 AM -- I think knowing if something TTS is helpful even without knowing that person's stats. I too found the black denim Gather & Crow crops to be TTS. For reference I'm 5'6", 140ish pounds, and usually wear an 8 in Lulu bottoms. Didn't have to size up in these as I occasionally do. I know some folks say the denim fabric is tighter and they sometimes have to size up but that would have been a mistake for me with these crops.

Anonymous said...

I can't.believe any of you like.the Ziggy print...I think its hideous. I got.the pow pink groove shorts because those fit great and I love bright colors. Might as well stock up.on bright colors before fall comes and all.we get is dark stuff.. sad
Also.there's that awesome orange color in the Australian site.where is it in ours? :(

Anonymous said...

omg. im in absolute love with their mat strap color "deepest cranberry". hope i see it come out soon for some power y and WU. =D

Anonymous said...

Currant is sadly a bleeder also. Check out this link:

Thanks 3:49!!! :)

Anonymous said...

nothing for me :(. i really wanted the new running crops in power purple and black but for $98!! What is LLL thinking?!?!?

Anonymous said...

Wow, gone, gone, gone are the days of $200-$400 online orders. I like few things but nothing can be trusted to fit the same, not be see through, or worth the price in some other kind of way. I'd order at least the currant power Y but those have changed and are thinner and way too long for me now. I'll wait until it gets to a store near me.

I do like the cranberry color, and in my opinion the currant looks like a bluer red than last year (which is great), but maybe because it's not just coming out after another more orangey red...what was the name of that other one?

Anonymous said...

@ 11:37 PM - me too, would love a Currant CRB...I was beginning to think somehow I missed it in NA haha but I check the LLL site regularly and this board! I see they gave us a Daily Tank and the Currant CRB is in Australia, so I guess ours is coming.

I don't stay up for uploads...I know I can always get it in store(s) here where I live.

Minda said...

I ended up not getting the be me top - I didn't realize the back was so mullet-like. Also it has a strange infold pleat in another fabric- boo.
-
nothing for me ! again lol.
thats okay - goes into the "build a boot collection" stash

Anonymous said...

I woke up at 4am to a bunch of restocks, loot and the currant CRB. It may be there for those of you who are looking for it. (In Canada).

Anonymous said...

lol Minda!!! new tshirts in like 6 different colors on the Gap website (Canada) Wow do they EVER look similar to the yogi shirt, except...higher scoop neck. I'm soooo TEMPTED... And wow...great price! The Great thing about GAP...there are new uploads almost every day! LOl

Anonymous said...

@ 11:48 PM - I too would like the ziggy caspian WU's in a crop but I actually dig the pants and would wear them in non-heated yoga. Going to wait and check them out in store though.

@ 12:04 AM - NICE ONE on scoring the Flow & Go for $69, now THAT'S a price I could have seen my way to. Who cares if it's a return, the person probably did not use it and found it too big or something. NOW my problem is that I'd LOVE the Om tote but I will not pay $128 pre-tax.

@ 3:24 AM - I found the Gather & Crow tts, I'm a size 4 (5'5", 125 lbs), I have them in the regular black luon from mid-2011 (and fyi mine were $10 more last year...they actually dropped the price in late 2011...I now think mine are probably made of better luon! given all the quality issues.) I wear a 4 in all bottoms, have never sized up or down. Denim advice from the great ladies here state don't size up...on-line reviews say size up but I think that's misleading. If you can, try on in store.

Jamie Barba said...

I got the Caspian pacesetter and the pink Groove Shorts. How come nobody ever told me how amazing the groove shorts are before? I got 2 while I was on vacation!! Not sure I'm gonna love the Caspian skirt, but thought I'd snap it up while they had talls; I can always return.

Hadn't planned to get both things, so now I have to go edit my Beyond Yoga cart! Life's all about trade-offs, right?

Anonymous said...

thanks 4:49....from 3:24 anon. :) When I woke up this morning....I looked on WMTM and there was no loot upload. Now there is on the Canada side, but no sizes left. LOL.... I'd say.....Lulu is getting petty darn desperate, because I've never seen WMTM uploaded right after an upload! I think this means...people are just not buying like they use to from the uploads....

Anonymous said...

We're going to get a bigger onslaught of Currant at some point? What we've seen but not for NA yet...

- Currant CRB
- Currant Running Jacket
(both seen in the LLL banner photos w/ the lady followed by the SeaWheeze fish)
- currant Studio crops
- currant every yogi l/s
(both seen in LLA blog yesterday)

really OT.....since I get advice about just about everything here, I thought maybe someone could give me an answer. I have a sudden, dull pain....that comes on quickly and then goes....in my LEFT boob. It's after aunt flow by 2 days...and I never get sore boobs, let alone 1 sore boob. Im not pregnant either. Should I be concerned about this??? help! thanks!!!

Anonymous said...

@ 4:54 AM, it's 4:49 - I know! I see that there's stuff on wmtm (am in Canada too) and this doesn't always happen on the day of a new upload, usually happens on a Thurs? Anyway, I saw there's a Deep Breath tank that's sold out...I just recently acquired one of these in black so would have considered another, the wmtm one in blush quartz (and that's not too much polka dots on the trim, I'm not really in to the polka dots). Oh well!
But keep checking! You know how certain items appear, disappear, reappear...people cancel orders, return stuff...
Have a great day! Cheers!

Julie said...

That's what's I wanted too!

Anonymous said...

boob question...from 4:54 am. thanks for your help...if anyone has any thoughts. :)

Anonymous said...

@ 5:00 AM...agree that pain could be due to your period and tenderness. I would say don't mess with your health. If you know what is normal for you and it persists (in general or anytime you get your period now), check with your Doctor. Regardless, a new weird pain is not fun! Take care!

Anonymous said...

@anon 4:24 - it looks like the track time crops are $98 because they have bonded seams. I thought people weren't too fond of the bonded seams (in shorts, anyway).

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. I really like the zig zag perfect layer tees and the Be Me tees. However, I will not pay these redonkulous prices for cover ups!

Anonymous said...

I just heard Dr.. Oz says.....Miso Soup is good for your thighs!!! GOOD TO KNOW....I love Miso soup! :) LOL

Anonymous said...

@ 4:07AM - thanks for the link. She's talking about the Currant Energy bra though...she says her Current CRB (from Dec 2011) was not a bleeder...I fully acknowledge that we all know the quality has changed and the new batch of CRB's could and probably are bleeders...I am hoping they're not! Didn't I read here yesterday someone said some older colours are coming back as they were not bleeders and LLL is trying damage control? Pipe dream?

She wrote:
"I thought currant would be ok because I never had problems with my currant cool racerback from the last batch that was released. I wore it with my white Flow Y bra all the time and nothing ever happened. So I just assumed that currant was not a bleeder. However, this was so bad that it pretty much completely destroyed my tank! I washed it with stain remover yesterday and it didn't come out completely. Now it's been soaking in Oxyclean for about 24 hours. I may try washing it again with stain remover later tonight, and if still no luck, then keep soaking in Oxyclean. I love this tank, and they have come and gone of course, so I can't even replace it. I'm very upset about this because this is a sports bra. Sure it was hot out and I played for about an hour, but isn't that what sports bras are for??? If last batch was ok in this color, what went wrong this time? It's ridiculous for any sports gear to bleed in heat especially when they cost as much as Lululemon charges. I've never had issues with their products until recently (maybe in the past 6 months or so), but this is definitely making me think twice. I don't want to have to think about what color to pair everything with based on whether I think it will bleed or not. I posted this on their facebook page, but haven't heard anything yet. Not happy!!!"

Anonymous said...

nothing. i don't like currant, power purple, or zig zags. want the be me tee, but $88 is WAY too steep for something so sheer. i am hoping for some angel blue though!

Focus said...

I really want the unity pullover, but $118.00... Yikes! Also, I'm nervous about the material on the back, why did they do that? We will have to see if I still like it when I see in person. Did any of our Aussie friends order this? Wear reviews at all?

Another question, what is the long sleeve white top show with the Deja vu scarves?

Might end up being a nothing day for me:(

Hey 5 am BOOBS!!!! Tenderness before and after is normal and showing you are fluctuating normally with estrogen. If you think something is excessively weird and maybe your hormones are way out of balance. Go see your doctor. But a few days before and a few days after. Tenderness. Is normal.

Anonymous said...

i dont understand why prices keep going up when the quality is just getting crappier. can someone please explain this?!?

Anonymous said...

Current bleeds! Check out my superficial endeavors blog, her currant energy bra bled all over her white crb.

Anonymous said...

I picked up a Bang Buster in Dense Purple, been wanting to try one and I love that color. I really wanted to get more Currant stuff (daily tank mainly) but I'm afraid it is going to bleed. I have the Energy Bra in Currant and I've been lucky so far...wanted to get the Caspian Daily Tank to wear with it but I'd be so pissed if the bra bled onto it :( And I'm interested in the Running Tunic, but $88 seems ridiculous to me for that. Maybe since I seem to be in the minority liking it, it will go to WMTM :).
So just the Bang Buster for me today!

Sourkraut said...

Wow @ the Time Track crop price. Are they out of their minds?! Not judging any of you who can/will pay that but I can't wrap my head around paying that for crops. I thought my Sun Sprinter crops were a splurge at $88. Really had to talk myself into them even though they're now my favorite pair.

Nothing for me this upload. I was happy to see the blurry, sloppy dots go since they seemed like something out of the junior's department but now they've been replaced by sloopy zig zags that look like some old lady's sofa or a Cosby sweater. Just my opinion, of course. I'm hoping they restock the basics with more fall-like colors soon as I would love to get my hands on a CRB and a Power Y. I'm also excited by that deepest cranberry color the Deja Vu scarf comes in. I don't need an expensive scarf but would like to see that color in other items.

Do you think we've seen the last of the Bound Bra? Yes, I'm calling on y'all to use your psychic powers here. It's the only Lulu bra I've found that I like so I guess I should have stocked up when I had my chance. I only have it in black and was holding out for a better color but now worry it'll never be seen again.

Anonymous said...

boob girl here...Thanks Minda and others who have commented! appreciate it. :) So scary, when you never have a sore boob.... Maybe my husband is "sleep grabbing!?" LOL

Sourkraut said...

Er, make that sloppy. Not sure what sloopy is. Sounds like some sort of disease Snoopy might catch.

Anonymous said...

Aussie site has currant turbos and the power purple swiftly ls. It has zig zags. Hmmmmm....

Anonymous said...

I ordered a define and a bangbuster but now I am having second thoughts about the define. Should I call and cancel or should I just wait and return it. I feel bad for my local store as they get all returns and I buy mostly online as they dont' get everything I want :(

Jek said...

I love patterned WU pants. I got both the zig zag prints. I think the lighter pair will go back though.
May drive to the store today to see if they have them. My store doesn't always get everything. So I ordered online just to be sure. I don't mind paying to ship him back, because I get 15% off as a yoga teacher.

I did buy a scoop me up tank yesterday and amazingly I love it. I want another one.
Also bought a black NLT tank - I'm so bored lately I'm straying from power y ( new design yuck) and crb. I wore it to teach this morning and it's a no go. I'll be putting it on eBay. Wish I didn't second guess myself on that. Wasted money for me. Everyone loves that tank I was hoping I would too :(

Current WU crops may go back in light of bleeding issues. They are nice and thick though. Seem better quality IMO.

Kate said...

Caspian tall pacesetter, WMTM run wild s/s tee. I've been drooling over that skirt since I saw the teaser pic on here! We only have a part-time "showroom" but I can return full price things there just in case.

Anonymous said...

Is lulu CRAZY to be charging $98 for the track time crops!? No way in a million years would I pay tht for a pair of spandex crops, I thought they be the same price as inspires, which is even too much but $98!!? Come on lulu, we are not idiots!!

Anonymous said...

New on the Aussie upload is the Presta cycling line- I have the chance to get a Packable Shirket for AU$159.. where it's in US WMTM for $89. *sigh*

Anonymous said...

I think the track time crops are $98 because they have bonded seams instead of the regular stitched ones (according to the description).

am I the only one who LOVED this upload?? Those gather and crow in the purple are lovely, and I've been dying to try the wee caspian ziggy WU (I hope I can pull em off, it's always cold here so I love pants). I also got both ziggy XL CRBs as they will go with all colored Bottoms I own pretty much... And then that power purple define was just icing on the cake. Had to have. Wallet is not happy though, and there were several other items I loved but just had to say NO (current and caspian in stride, new groove shorts, current power y.... Ahhhh!)

Anonymous said...

You all realize that ANY deep or bright color from ANY store should be pre-washed, right? Returning something that is red because it might bleed is silly. Red fabrics have been bleeding since the beginning of time. That is why we separate our laundry!! The complaining and paranoia over bleeding on this blog is crazy. I have not had any issues after the first wash, in which I only wash like colors. Laundry 101

Sourkraut said...

@Anon 5:59 -- Glad you were able to get some items you'll enjoy. I will say that I too like the purple Gather & Crow crops. I just don't *need* them. Right? Gah! But they are really cute and a unique color.

Anonymous said...

Bought the power purple define and the two new pace setters. May end up order ziggy crb, too.

Anonymous said...

I'd love the gather crops, but I keep telling myself....I just blew $450 on a pair of Frye boots and I don't "need" them. LOL.... plus, I don't want my husband to kill me.

Anonymous said...

We have a guy friend...who says he goes on my FB every 2 days...just to see what I've bought next and then he goes and TELLS my husband, thinking he's being funny. So I have to learn...not to talk about my latest and greatest purchases! :)

Rebecca Sigmon said...

Ummmm, I'm not an "awake at upload" type of girl so sometimes I miss stuff that sells out quickly. Somebody PLEASE tell me that I didn't miss out on the Fall Quilt 11 Wunder Unders (i.e., the ones with the red, caspian blue, and coal).

Anonymous said...

wow anon 6:04, bitter much? i think everyone understands the concept of pre-washing and separate loads, didn't need to bring out the bitch squad.

Anonymous said...

Ohhh, I really like that Swifty LS in Power Purple with the zigzag stripes on it (on the Australian site). I hope they make a Swifty SS with that pattern!

No purchase for me. I saw there was a restock of the Scoop Me Up in Deep Indigo, but they were all gone by the time I got to work to order it. Damn!

yogibabe said...

@Anon 6:24 AM & 6:27 AM
My husband, on the hand, was with me till way past midnight, trying to convince me to order the Virtuous tank. He thought it is very pretty and was "sure" that it will look good on me! LOL! So, I caved in and did his bidding to "give it a try' (a phrase of wisdom that our son uses a lot, when he was little). Ordered both, in currant and blazer fossil/white. (Would have been a small order for me, only the Power Y in currant.) I'm iffy with this style due to all the "not so good reviews" that have been posted here so far. Not too worry about the "boob squishing" part, as I have none to squish(32A!), but more so about the pit flab. So, we'll see....will let you all know the outcome, good or bad. :)

Ingenue said...

Hi Rebecca - you did not miss out on those WUs. I am eagerly awaiting them too, and was hoping to see them last night (US side). Alas... not yet!

Anonymous said...

Where is the energy bra?? I need it!!

Anonymous said...

New run crops at $98 is ridiculous. I would have bought for $80, but now I refuse based on principle. Ugh.

Anonymous said...

Disappointing upload IMO. Was really hoping for an angel blue energy bra, but lulu dropped the ball on that one. The more I see the ziggy print, the more I think Grandpa's ugly sweater from 1985.

As mentioned earlier, the price of the time track crop is insanity. With tax, that puts them well above $100! In these times of declining quality with subsequent weekly price hikes on core items, there's no way I'll risk looking like a chump who'll buy up anything & everything, just for the sake of a lulu symbol on my butt. Also, mentioning the "bonded" seams to justify the price increase feels gimmicky. Sorry to be so harsh, just disappointed as a former weekly lulu consumer.

Anonymous said...

Me too....it's very disappointing! I agree...@ 7:18am

Anonymous said...

I recently spoke with someone..."in the know" from another competitor of Lulus that also sells yoga gear and they said in Vancouver they are seeing something called, "Lulu Fatigue..." That people I guess...are getting tired of the brand.

MandyPots said...

Anon 6:04 If it was easy as one wash with like colors before wear, people wouldn't be complaining. I thought I was out of the woods with my one potential bleeder-flash stuff your bra tank-until it bled all over itself in my gym bag. This was after months of wear/sweat/wash with no problems. Makes no sense.

Anonymous said...

I made the post about the bonded seams on the track crops. I don't think it justifies the price, either, but I knew that the shorts with bonded seams were more expensive. I just had to see if something was different about them because I was worried that the prices of the crops would be higher from now on when I saw that price.

Bought some amazing stuff on the upload, Bruised Berry define, free to be bra in caspian, COOL RACERBACK IN CURRANT!!!! So excited! Also got the Unity Pullover and i think i might order the Portapotie Scuba :)
When is the Bruised Berry Cool Racerback uploading! -.-
And do any of y'all know when the upload usually shows up in stores? Thursday?

Jels said...

Got the Caspian Ziggy XL CRB and new Deep Purple Bang Buster. The Ziggy print reminds me a lot of Missoni. Saw it on the SB store yesterday, but couldn't try on anything, as my children spilled water and crackers all over the floor and we had to high tail it out of there!! Been there, anyone?

M.E.L.R. said...

Ya....so I'm going to need some more portapottie(learning to say the name with a straight face) pieces to come out soon or I am going to end up buying another scuba hoodie which I would love but is the last thing I need! lol

Sourkraut said...

@Anon 7:39 -- My store gets new stuff in Tuesdays and Thursdays. The last time I was there the girl volunteered that information so I'm sure if you ask your store they'll tell you. Heck, my store apparently already had some of the new stuff out yesterday.

yogibabe said...

Ooooh! Yes, agree with all that mentioned this. Would love to have the Swiftly l/s or s/s in power purple with ziggy! BTW, where is the NLT in power purple?

Jamie Barba said...

@7:39, I think it just depends. Our showroom got the Seaside dot Pacesetter 4 weeks after it was on the website (ours always gets stuff a week or two later) but the Scoop Me Up tank came out on a Monday and I was in Vegas on Thursday asking about "that new tank that just came out" and the Ed acted like I had four heads. Her response once I finally figured out which one it was, "oh, we've had that forever. I mean, that's old now," in a snotty tone. Fortunately, everyone else in the store was nice. When I was in CA last week, both stores had things on the weekend that were in the upload, but they could have been there before it.

@Boobs - I get a stabbing pain through mine occasionally, usually my right one. It seems like mine is due to excessive workouts or sometimes, even reflux.

OT - I just placed my BY order! I'm so excited. I got a dress, a racerback, and a pair of those HAWT red leggings for $40. I never would have bought red, but the were $10!!! Wishing I lived closer to them so it would get here immediately!

US didn't get the currant CRB - or did I miss it! I am holding out for the Caspian CRB with the zigzag print like the FY) wishing.....

Anonymous said...

I got the iconic wrap in black as the new material is vitasea instead of the pilly one they had out a few months earlier. i hope its cute on. i like the wee stripe but hate the seam detail in the back.

question: got the elevation stripe speed shorts in pow pink. i dont know what to pair with it.... what do you guys recommend? bruised berry crb would be great to match but still havent seen it uploaded yet...

Pink Peony 4 said...

@Boob girl: I do get sore there before and after like Minda referred to. I would like to say it's normal and since it goes away and seems regular, it might be ok. I have 2 college age girls and 1 always gets this and the other does not.
Upload FUN: I might have been the first one to write on this this morning. LLA did to even have her upload update yet (wow, that's a mouthful). Anywho, I happen to be a bad girl since I checked WMTM before the upload and voila the flow and Go tote was $69! I bought each color for my girls. Happy, happy. Then, I bought the iconic wrap (I hope quality is like the old one), currant power y and currant (I forgot the new tank with a hole in the back and kind of scalloped hem--- yes, the one that I swore I will not buy!!!)
Today I am going to the store. I am wearing my currant WU crop ( I liked how the 6 fits me since the back of my thighs are unsightly, with my (hamburglar) white and navy striped tame me tank. Go team!!! I have a Tango red Flow Y under the tank since it is not padded. I am afraid to wear my new currant energy bra since it might bleed. Now if I can find a neutral pair of shoes so I am not totally clashing in my patriotic outfit. I thought my Lulu eds would appreciate it.
I have decided to return the new tanks in power purple and caspian blue with the new discover crop in denim. It was too loose (I sized up, which I normally do in denim, go figure. Hey, maybe I am losing inches hmm...). I am hoping to see the iconic wrap there and the virtuous tank to try on. It would look good to dance in (Zumba).
I am all for the red, white and blue all the way to the closing ceremonies. Yay!!!
Yes, slow day at the ranch.

"Lulu Fatigue", that's what I'm experiencing. I've been collecting LLL for 4-5 years and loved the design, quality, and garanimal like coordinates that made workout dressing easy. Now that I have a solid base of items that work for me, it's hard to add new when I'm worried about fit, quality, function, and duplication. Nothing for me today.

Nothing for me today...although I'm tempted by the Pow Purple Define. Decisions decisions!

I am LOVING the waistband on the new boogie shorts "black/fall 12 quilt 10/caspian blue". Looks like it has caspian blue, pow purple, and deep indigo. Pretty combination!

Thanks! LLL bottoms are flattering. Their boogie shorts and WUCs have amazing lift properties. The running shorts are comfortable and cute, without the excess pouf that other brands have.

Nothing for me this upload. I'm waiting for a power purple NLT and a yoga crop that isn't see through for all body types. Thank you to the anon who suggested that I try on the Ebb & Flow crops for hot yoga wear. I desperately need a new pair of bottoms and do not want shorts. I tried them on in my regular size 8 and they fit well and felt like heaven. It reminded me why I stopped buying other brands years ago. But when I did a forward fold, my underwear were completely visible. My 2 & 4 year old sons confirmed it in the changing room...loudly. I bought them because I need something and am not sure what other brands to try (live in Canada where the shipping charges make it seem like Siberia). I'm experiencing caveat emptor though and have yet to remove the tags. I'm going to try them with different underwear to see if it improves but I don't feel comfortable about the purchase. Maybe if running was my primary sport but for me it's yoga and I just don't get it.
I bought deep indigo Studio Crops and haven't removed the tags on those either. I still have 2 days to return. I don't think we have Lulu Fatigue so much as Caveat Emptor as LLL used to be synonymous with quality and now it's risky to take the tags off and wear the clothing. Thanks for me letting me offload.

Just an FYI ladies....when anonymous comments post "boob" talk, "period" talk , next thing you know questions like "what color is your pubic hair" may come next, you should be cautious....creeps frequent and prey on well meaning women...just sayin.

The fact that "boob" "girl" has posted so many comments is suspicious to me.

Anon at 8:57 am: I sized up in the ebb and flow indigo and that seemed to take care of the sheerness issue. I think the fit is TTS but you need extra material to make up for the thinness of the fabric. I wish they would make them thicker and in more colors!

Anon at 9:52 am: Good tip. I would hate to think someone is taking advantage of our openness but it's always possible. I've been suspicious lately of anons coming and talking about Gap and their great customer service, and their 15% off if you call and daily uploads. Those comments have a different feel than when people like Minda give us thoughtful reviews of other brands without sounding like they are shilling.

its stupid that everyone thinks this is quality decrease

Lulu Fatigue--so true for me. I have been actively purchasing Lululemon for the past year. I am seeing a repeat of similar colors and styles and am now at the point where I question my "need" for a particular color or item. I love all the new colors but acquiring them sometimes means I have to build a new wardrobe to work around a new color that may not coordinate with the past shades. The thing is, I have so much stuff I have only worn once or not at all--I really need to jump off the Lulu train! I have not ordered online for past two weeks -- unheard of for me -- but have chosen a couple of items from the local store. Mainly for the reasons you all have cited -- quality issues and inconsistent fit. That being said, I got the Tall Pacesetter in the Caspian Stripe and white zigzag Perfect Layer Tee. Also, the $98 crops--tried them on yesterday out of curiosity and IMO, not nearly as supportive as the Inspires or Sun Sprinters--so not worth it on any level!!

Power y tank in currant and power purple reg pacesetter. If the items on the Australia site were available in the US, I would have bought more. I missed out in currant before and probably would have picked up the crb, turbos and swiftly tank.

Anonymous said...

The ziggy WU are the last item listed on pants page. It listed separately, but it's there!

The Gather and Grow Crop in purple slub denim look like a great pair of pants. The reviewers seem to love the crop, tho I find reviewers to sometimes be slightly too generous with star ratings. I don't yet trust LLL to have the placement of gusset in bottoms right, so I would try on in store first.

While in store,,I would check out the Unity Pullover. At $118, the fabric would have to win me over.

Well, I didnt intend to come off so negative. After all, I like LLL enough to give them my time to browse their site and to write this review!

The power y has officially changed. While there is a luon light version as you described, I called GEC several months ago and verified that all power ys going forward will have the longer length. All will not be luon light. But they will all have the changes that people have noted like the length, width, and thinner straps etc. Just fyi. It is kind of confusing and educators are not even fully informed about this. I think lulu is attempting to keep this under wraps but it is plainly obvious to consumers. For example, I have the pearl luxtreme power y, and last week or the week before that I bought a black and white power y at the store that are newer as described previously. Some stores still carry the older versions of the power y that they have in stock. But you will not see stores re-stocking the "older" shorter version of the power y. Hope this helps. Lulu addict I'm surprised you haven't written a whole piece on this major change unless I missed it which is possible. :)Love the blog!

The Ziggy WUs are definitely gone from the US site. I'd be surprised if they sold out already, though. They are cute but definitely not everyone's taste.

Really wish there were more CRB colors. I am a size 2 in LLL and the fact that they either don't make tops in a size 2 to begin with or stop making them (so disappointed w/ NLTs now starting at 4) is frustrating.

Ok I am still out and about but I finished my lulu errand. Here's my scoop in things new.

I am in love with the Speed Squad tank. Ordered currant, bought power purple and black.
Virtuous tank: love the currant but had to size up to a 6. I think the side fat is less this way. Pretty and feminine.
Angel blue energize bra-- yes they have it and so pretty and comfy ( fave);
And before I left they received the currant studio crops so got that in my regular size.
No headbands today. I have enough of that. Unless the currant slipless appears.

I tried the Be Me tee but too long ( in the back) for
my 5'2" frame. Cute for tall ones--- the back really did not look as bad as the pics I've seen.
No pacesetters for me anymore. Power purple was not too impressive in person. Caspian stripe was bland looking.
Lots of people trying on the virtuous tank. I think they want it to work for them since it is pretty . I'll wear mine to Zumba so I gotthe currant. I love red though. So many peeps wearing the currant WU. Including myself today. Yay!
That's it for this trip... Hope you girls get what you want and then some. More power!

JEK said...

I hope the Wu ziggy were not pulled. I ordered both colors this morning. I prob won't receive shipping notification for a day or two. My store has the darker variation. I'm going to go tonight and grab a pair.

Power Y... miss the old version, but not offended by the new. It is really long (I'm 5'8"), I may have mine hemmed. Going to wear a few more times. It does get really soaked though and stretches like crazy. I don't like that at all. Why'd they mess with perfection? My store has the "old" white PY. I'm going to get that and stash it away for the future.

On another note, I did see the OM tote in person yesterday- I LOVE it, but just cannot justify another expensive bag when my triumph tote (?) is still beautiful and functional.

Hey! ebbandflow! I'm glad you don't think I'm someone from a company trying to sell stuff LOL. I'm an equal opportunity enabler! If there is a deal somewhere I've heard about, I will post it if someone else hasn't first!

Sometimes I get a weird vibe about some of the ANONs posting excessively about the latest Gap specials -but I get those emails too. . . lol Gap has an OMG LAST CHANCE EVER sale almost weekly. And the prices pretty much stay within the same static range of super affordable.. . .so no need to really PUMP that. lol then again - maybe they are just people who have been bruised up a lot by less than stellar Lulu sales clerks. . which we most likely ALL have experienced and are just happy to have been treated right? - who knows.
Either way, I view blog suggestions as just suggestions to consider. I like thinking about all sides of a coin. Its fun to chatter about all this!! lol

@ Anon July 31, 2012 11:13 AM. I'm really surprised the Ziggy Wee wu are gone as well since the pattern in full length leggings aren't everyone's taste. I wish the ziggy wee stripe in flare came in a regular length CRB. I gave the XL a try because I really wanted the mirage print, but it's just wayyyy too long. I have a long torso, but wide hips so the tank just bunches up above my hips and looks sloppy. More regular length CRBs, please lulu!

I wavered over ordering the new purple pacesetter skirt, but then I started to wonder what I'd wear with it. Most of my tops are already blue or purple, and I don't think that would look good with another shade of purple. I could white, yes, but I try to avoid white workout clothes (they get dingy so fast). Black or gray, I guess. I was thinking a caspian blue CRB or Power Y would look good with the purple pacesetter, but neither of those items seem to exist.

Bought two things at the store yesterday and two things on upload. They were just unpacking the gray ziggy WUs when I got there, so I was able to grab my usual WU size 4. The fabric is indeed soft, has sort of a flecked stitching on the inside to create the pattern but I didn't feel it per se, just a general softness. It is very thin, similar weight to my fossil wee stripe WUs, maybe even a tad thinner. If it wasn't for the pattern I do think these would be sheer, but fortunately you can't tell with all the zigs and zags. (BTW, tried on the currant again in both WU and WUC, hoping I just got a funky pair last time, but still totally sheer when I bend over!) Of course they have the triangle gusset, and while I don't find it as comfortable as the oval, I haven't had serious CT issues with it yet. Was tempted by the caspian/purple ziggy online too, almost bought them just in case during the upload, but I decided the grey was far more practical and probably more flattering. If I see the other ones in store I'll try them on, but I settled for the caspian/purple CRB instead. Of course I don't like the XL length at all, UGH! I've already returned both XL tanks I bought this summer. But if I'm totally in love with the color I may just get it hemmed an inch or so. Long is OK, but tunic length is just not practical. I also picked up the caspian Flow Y in the store and then the caspian Free To Be online. I love the color and like both those styles, but I'll only keep the one I like the best. Just FYI, as many have been pointing out, the Flow Y had the same design tweaks as the Power Y. It is now lower cut, which I don't mind per se, but it also means you can't see it peek out under CRB anymore. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does sort of defeat getting a bunch of crazy colors to show around your tank. That is one reason I'm thinking of keeping the Free To Be over the Flow Y, because despite giving me mega cleavage, the straps show in the back and that's fun.

Agree about the strange Gap comments. Seriously, I sometimes wonder if the competitors plant comments on here (including some of the strange negative ones). I was in GapBody this week and saw their GapFit line. It was not exciting at all--not bad, just very basic items I would have bought in my early 20's when I was on a budget. However, i do remember I had a pair of crops a couple of years ago that were thick (good coverage), but very warm. No sheerness issues, if you can stand the heat. :)

Anybody tried Lorna Jane? I happened to be in their store opening day in Topanga Mall - I didn't purchase, but did like the Amy pants. Felt like I was cheating on my boyfriend.

Pink Peony 4 said...

My guess is coz it's so damn hot all over creation! Mine does not either that's why I got that good deal on my own return (currant scuba and brass zipper). I'll be surprised If there's actually one store selling scubas right now. I'd like to vacay there. It's 102deg where I live. Scorcher but I'm used to it. Hard to work outdoors tending my poor plants. Having said this I own the portapotie and currant scubas from the last upload. I'm just getting ready for the snowstorm that will hit central Texas very soon. Lol.

Sourkraut said...

Here's my report from what I ordered last week since it just got here today:

The dense purple Scuba is definitely staying. Yes, it has a metal zipper and is a little more faded than I expected, even distressed in a few areas, but nothing that seems like an error. I think that's just the style. Plus the fit is superb. I just went through my closet to clean out stuff I haven't been wearing and found an old J-Crew hooded sweatshirt that's pathetic compared to this. It's boxy and too short. The Scuba is fitted and the perfect length for my long torso. Plus the color looks great on me!

Grr! This is my first experience with the bad quality we've all been hearing about. Got my Caspian blue scoop me up tank and there's some sloppy sewing along the top. It looks like they did a basting stitch to set the gathers and in some areas those stitches are showing where they should be nicely tucked away. I just dug my indigo one out of the hamper (yes, eww) to check it and the difference is stark. Of course, they're sold out in my size online so I'm sitting here debating whether or not to try to fix it with some hand sewing or just return it. The color's lovely and looks nice with my indigo Fast & Free crops so I'll have to give it a lot of thought. I'm holding out hope my store will have it in stock later this week when I go so I can simply exchange it.

The pattern and colour combination of the CRB in this post look like a sofa and loveseat set my granny had in the 70s. Groovy, man. I saw it in store today. It kind of felt the same too. I would never wear it in a zillion years. Made me miss my granny though. :(

Anyway, nothing from the upload, but went by my favourite local store today. I was a millimetre away from buying a currant energy bra, but I think I'll hold off a little. I liked the fit, but I'm trying to cut back. I'd say I'm being 75% successful in this endeavour.

I left with a currant power y and a spare pair of coal free mind crops. I know they're genie in a bottle trousers and all, but they are hella comfortable and I couldn't resist. What was funny about it was the educator (a new girl I hadn't seen in this store before) was trying to give me a hard sell on them when I had them in my hand, told her I already had a coal pair, and was wearing a black pair at the time. lol.

I also tried on the power purple scuba. Fit was fine, but I didn't like the lilac lining and while it's a nice enough colour, it looks very faded, like it's already been washed 500 times. Some people like that I know, but I wanted solid for that, so it stayed on the shelf too.

Question 4 the floor. Anyone notice...ladies sizing seems to be changing??? I'm a consistent size 4 or 6 in Lulu bottoms. like 6 in Grooves, but size 4 in DSP. Then Still pants...I'm a size 2. I had a baby and VOILA my hips got a little wider and my bum is a bit rounder. In fact, I still have 20 lbs left to go....I was 120 lbs at 5'6. Now...when I go shopping....the sizes seem all screwed up! I can still wear size 4 & 6 in Lulu and it doesn't look tight. Gap...I'm a size 6 or small. I go to Winners....looking for shorts. Before baby...I was always a MED, now med...is TOO BIG! I end up in the small and XS section at Winners. What gives with ladies sizing??? I'm definitely not an XS, but my last pair of shorts from ROOTS was XS!!! They "must be" changing sizing in ladies clothing??? Anyone know?!

I went into my local store today to check out the new stuff. I have no interest in XL CRBs, but I touched the ziggy ones and they sure are soft, and THICK! Surprising.

I'm not sure why they're putting out Every Yogi LS in the middle of summer because those are really warm, but I think Currant is a great colour for one. I would be afraid of bleeding from the dark to the light side though.

I thought the Unity Pullover was pretty from the pictures, but in person I didn't like the choice of fabric for the back.

I tried on a Perfect Layer Tee out of curiosity and it's so soft and nice (I kinda like the chevrons too). I can understand why some people pay $58 for one. However, I don't require any to/from items since that amounts to about 8 minutes out of my day.

The Angel Blue Energy bra is really pretty.

I'm glad I secured myself a Tango Red Define back in the day so I have one nice red item that I don't have to worry about bleeding. I look forward to more Deepest Cranberry instead of Currant.

@ano 2:17 from Victoria BC. I totally agree with you. Canada has the best weather for these kinds of garment. That's great. When we went on our tour, it was in July when the stampede was and it was mild. Yes, I had to wear cooler weather clothes early in am and later at night. You are lucky. I seriously need to fax myself to Lake Louise. Love that place although when we were there, we stayed at the Fairmont Lake Louise and they had power outage. Girl, that place was hotter than hell (my husband's words!). They ran out of fans so he slept in the tub with water in it. Nothing to spoil me wanting to go back though. I just love everything Canadian.

Sorry for miss eager here posting so much today.
I forgot I saw the define in power purple and it was ok. Nothing I'd want to add to what I already have. The current currant shade is really close to the tango red. I had my flow y bra on top of my WU in the changing room and it's pretty close.
I also saw the Om tote and it was actually a good size (not bigger than bliss) Maybe shorter than the Flow and Go (WMTM?). They did not have a currant one. People were buying them though. I don't need another bag. I will try to wait until around the holidays to buy one if I need to. They always come out with more cute stuff around this time.
Not many takers on the cycling stuff. They are overflowing with these. The perfect layer tees were $58 (pretty sure) so never mind that. No takers either. I think we'll see these in WMTM.
No purple gather and crows. I did not try on the time track crop since I am not buying one right now.
No unity pullover. Lots of hot but not tank on sale rack mainly black.

The ziggy WU and CRB's are in but too busy of a pattern for me. Really soft but busy.

Yes the portapotie scuba looks like John Deere green esp with the yellow zipper. Too funny. I don't blame you anon 11:11 for not wanting to look like a farmer's wife. I don't mind it a bit but not the life for everybody for sure.
Ok. I promise that's it for me.

They are opening so many Lorna Jane stores in southern California! I went by the one in Santa Monica and purchased two tops. Unfortunately they didn't have a lot of styles I liked in my size.
The price is higher, the return policy is horrible (7 days and exchanges only), but I really enjoyed my first visit. The girls are much helpful than any other lulu store I've been to.

Pink peony 4 - anon 217 here. The stampede is in Calgary which is much hotter than Victoria so most people don't use aircpnditioning in their homes just keep the windows open. A lot of the people who live here complain that it's too mild here and that we don't get a summer but I love it! The only time I get sweaty is from exercising not just steping outside!

Has anyone spotted the angel blue energy bra in a new england store?

Thank you LLA for teaching me the way of LLL. In the wee hours of the morning, I made a purchase that included several items in the new currant color, plus a couple of other new items. Just peeked at the "What's New" section this afternoon and found that most items I purchased are "Out of Stock". Would not have known about timing of new items without your "Upload". Thank you and Merci Beaucoup!

@anon 4:19 from Victoria. We never made it to Victoria. Sadly. I will next time. Not done with Canada yet. Too much to see and experience there. Yes, Calgary was warmer during the pm shows especially. Banff was really nice. We played golf and there was a moose on the course at Fairmont Banff golf course. Way cool for me but probably not too much for you. We loved it all around!!! People are so nice and friendly. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you for educating me some. I appreciate every info I can gather. I know for sure what I will do there next time is to visit a LLL store--- I'll consider it the eighth wonder. Ok I know some of you might think it's silly how I'm all over this but I'm from a small town. Gotta get my feelers out there so I don't get too behind in civilized goings on.

My first thought upon seeing the portapottie scuba was the Oakland A's baseball team. Given that I'm a Red Sox fan, that is so not gonna happen! LOL!

But seeing as how I am indeed a Red Sox fan, I may have to get some currant items. I'm leaning toward the Power Y. Any reports yet on new currant items bleeding, other than just the My Superficial Endeavors' experience with the new currant energy bra?

Nothing for me again this week. I've already seen pix of bleeding currant so I'll continue to wait for them to get quality under control before opening my wallet.

@ 6:04 AM, everybody's aware of pre-washing and that there could be some bleeding with colours. YOU are uninformed because as of late, LLL items bleeding is basically out of control. Customers are well aware of the differences from the past vs. the present and there has clearly been a change in manufacturing.

@ anon 6:37 - that you for saying so re: anon 6:04.

I've worn my Currant Energy bra on two runs and a moderately sweaty yoga class and no bleeding...I was afraid to wear a light colored tank over though, maybe if it continues to not bleed I will...

Felt like regular luon to me!

Just so everyone is aware... 'My Superficial Endeavors' author did NOT pre-wash her currant Energy bra before wearing it with a white tank. Red colors with almost every brand will bleed at first and you need to wash them separately or with darks. Just sayin :)

Just got home from Studio City - love that store! They had the Angel Blue Energy Bra, which I picked up because it was much softer than the Currant one I returned last week. They also had the Currant DSC which I loved, but I'm going to wait a week to see if pants come out. Red DSC are AMAZING, though! Also got a Currant Swiftly Racerback. It's so yummy!!! Every Yogi LS had contrasting thread and the white on red bugged me. They also had some colored Scoopnecks- not my style! Picked up a black Om bag n a whim. First lulu bag!!!

Can anyone tell me what bottoms (featuring "baboon butt") the model is wearing in the Speed Squad Tank photos? In the standing shot, not the lacing-up pic. Thanks!!

I appreciate people reminding us all to be cautious about the internet and weirdo guys who might lurk here. I for one never thought the person asking a very personal question about a new pain in her boob was a creepy guy. And I know she has since weighed in again to reassure us. Take care of yourself on that issue and do what's best to give you peace of mind. Just talk to the Dr., better to be safe than sorry with anything out of the ordinary for you.

As for someone shilling for the Gap...I highly doubt it. Gap doesn't need any help. I'm signed up for the e-mails/promos from Gap, BR and ON, as are about a million other people, and we all know THAT marketing works. Seriously, it's the only time I buy stuff in BR, when it goes on MD. 40% full priced item(s)? Thank you very much, I will now buy some pants and shirts and dresses etc.
I know I'm about to say a total double standard, but I do think someone has shilled for Nordstrom's on here! For the longest time is was all too much Nordy talk.

@ 7:59 PM happy shopping for you! Congrats on your Om Bag and first LLL bag. You can get away with it! I cannot as I have a couple of bags and simply cannot see my way to that price. Black is timeless and the currant one looks sooo beautiful. It is unlikely to make it to wmtm (listen to me, already dreaming and it just came out!) but I will wait.

I liked the upload. So much better than some of the other recent ones. I am totally digging the ziggy caspian WU and the currant CRB. Going to check my local store tomorrow as I need to see the ziggy's in person.

Cheers!

I tried on the Virtuous tank today in currant and purple. I found it to be a really cute, flattering top. EXCEPT (and why I didn't buy one) that the seaming in the shelf bra shows through in a really obvious way, so much so that the GECs were all talking about and are putting it in some sort of report to HQ. It formed like an upside down U right over the boobs. Maybe this was just a bad batch or something.

Thursday?

@ anon 8:37 pm - totally agree on nordstrom/zella shill. I posted about Zella something like 3 years ago and was still getting comments on that post until I closed the comments recently. The Nordstrom stuff is ok but most of it is polyester and felt like it would be hot to me.

@ Anonymous me - right on about grandma's 70s zigzag couch. I think that's why the new zigzag stuff doesn't appeal to me much - too much of a flashback to ugly polyester prints I had to wear as a child back then.
