Website Clues!

Lots of photos of upcoming lulu on the website tonight:

OMG, love those pink striped shorts!! I hope a tank comes out in that print.

Photo of a new red/pink running jacket. I like it from these brief glimpses.

New print/texture in Wunder Unders/bottoms and perhaps a new mint green color is coming.

Is that a Power Purple No Limit tank in the background? Hmmm.

Love the power purple no limits! Wonder if mint color is more old toothpaste or new color? Striped wus and shorts look interesting too. But really just want that bb crb. I think they are holding off on releasing it until most people have had to make decisions on keeping stride jacket or not, as it is only other bb item out. Have speculated same strategy before (release of dune and deep indigo studio pants several weeks before crops in summer, for example).

Oooh! I would love a Power Purple No Limit and those new printed WUC looks interesting. :)

I think I'll wait for those. Good thing nothing caught my eye in this upload. My credit card needs a rest.

Ps--in comment above, I meant stride is only main bb DOT item out (other than maybe optimal tank).

-crops banner- looks like red jacket or long shirt
-Accessories banner- looks like some kind of new hooded top
- Om your heart out scarf- looks like XL CRB in heathered indigo
-bags banner- looks like a light pink shirt or loose fitting jacket.
Mat banner- looks like zig zag light blue mat/towel?

Excited to see the new "minty" green color. But that reddish jacket definitely caught my eye when I was perusing the upload.

<3 <3 <3 red and am seriously still lusting after the currant scuba I just barely missed the other week. ARGH!

Pink striped speeds--must have!!

I was just going to comment about that towel on the yoga mats page. I really like the light blue + zig zag pattern.

I think the zip zag is coming next! There's a white burnout tee on the model in the undie page banner.... oooo it looks cuuuute!!

I hope there is no more mint green. We need some real true green like savage. We already had Aruba, toothpaste, aquamarine and menthol in the last 1 year. I think there was more similar shades.

Anonymous said...

There is a dark purple energy bra in the bra page banner picture!

Anonymous said...

I am EXCITED for more mint green and purple!!! I didn't buy ANY menthol in the last cycle and regretted it (I was too focused on Porcelain!). Now I'll get the chance again!

That purple No Limits is gorgeous.

Oh... bummer for me... I it looks like it's actually the Free to Be.

The pink striped shorts looks like it could be mirage deep indigo. What do you think? I love the print but not when white fades into it. They should have made the tanks and WUC diversity in a print rather than white fading into it.

I love the pink striped shorts- adorable. If a top comes out in that I'm in trouble. We'll see if I can keep my Lulu bleeding ban up. I'm assuming now that everything bleeds (within the inconsistent parameters- some batches of items, sometimes after many wearings, etc.). I'm going to write lulu and ask them when the bleeding issues will be resolved so that I may buy again. We'll see what they say ;) Probably just that some colors need extra care like my favorite denim, and leave it at that, but asking anyways!

I am also VERY intrigued by the WU's with the print. I always seem to miss out on prints I like in WU's and regret it later....

Any change from the icky pastels and pinks would be a welcome change for me! I haven't been buying (or, rather, buying and keeping) anything lately even though I love several of the tank designs because they're not coming out in colors I like. If I can get to my store I'll check out Pop Orange in person but I fear that it'll look awful with my pale skin and reddish/mousy brown hair. That said, some pale purples, blues, and greens work on me so fingers crossed that Lulu switches over to that side of the color wheel.

I am also so over the damn dots. Mostly because I'm not a dot person to begin with but also because the way they've done their dots with sloppy, blurred edges or the lame "gradient" that is hit or miss makes the items look cheap. Alright, rant over. Still have my fingers crossed for a Hot But Not and a Wandering Yogi tank in a dark color. Man, even I'm getting sick of hearing myself say that.

Yes, very much intrigued by the print/texture on the WU pants. Hope it will come in the crops too. And am LOVING the pow pink/pop orange etc print on the shorts! Please let it come in tops (any tops!) too. ;)

Dear Lululemon,

I absolutely love your clothing and have been consistently buying several items a month since 2010. I like to sweat once a day, and wear your clothing in which to do it! I wear your designs for yoga, running, and Bar classes.

Sadly, ever since the advent of Paris Pink, I have been aware of bleeding issues with many of your items. I do not want to pay for products that bleed. I understand the company has addressed this and told us consumers ways in which to wash said items, but it does not always guarantee the item will not bleed anyways during a wearing.

There are other athletic clothing companies that offer brights without this issue, as you have done yourself in the past.

I am no longer buying items in colors that bleed, which at this point is severely limiting what I CAN buy.

What, if anything, is being done about clothing that bleeds? Surely it is not up to the company’s quality standards?

Please, Lululemon- resolve this issue. I’d love to come back.

(We'll see what they say- canned response in a few days?)

In the red Run jacket banner (jacket & hoodie page), looks like she's wearing a top (CRB or Power Y?) in the same RED!!! If that's true, I'm SOOOO excited!!!

And also loving the chevron/zig zag pattern. :)

Anonymous said...

What color CRB (?) is the model wearing in the white Om Your Heart Out scarf? Looks like heathered deep indigo?

Anonymous said...

Strongly dislike all the horizontal striped shorts. Wee Are From Space is one thing, but larger horizontal stripes on shorts just make EVERYONE look more bottom heavy than they really are IMO. Could lulu please combine nice colors with good fabric designs and styles for once?

@anon 6:23 AM
Looks like the model is wearing heathered deep indigo Daily tank, (due the the straps placment in the 5th picture showing the seaside dot burnout white Om Your Heart Out scarf).

Love the pattern of those WUs, but scared of the new CT causing triangle gussets. Wish they would change back to the oval design!

Beth said...

Ooh, I am excited about that red! I only have a currant Stride jacket and LS Swiftly, so I'm excited to get to (hopefully) buy more reds!

Does anyone know if Mirage bleeds? I bought the hot or not in white with mirage cups and am terrified of wearing or washing it. The colors in it seem to be the bleeders in the past (indigo and pink) and so much white just frightens me :-(

Anonymous said...

This is awesome! I was thinking if writing something similar.

Nicole said...

@ anon 8:15 I have the same hot or not tank (white/mirage) and have had no bleed issues (so far). I hand washed cold just to make sure and all was a-ok! Love that tank. It makes me feel so girlie!

Anonymous said...

Oooooh, power purple no limit!!! Me like!

Anonymous said...

The jacket looks nice. It's longer. Look at the LLL site page for crops, that's the bottom of the jacket. That would be a new crop too, with a ruffle and 'naked seam' type hem?

Anonymous said...

@Nicole thank you! I'll try washing cold after soaking in vinegar. Worst case, I can always return it but will be ticked if I have to go through the hassle.

Anonymous said...

I posted a similar letter on facebook. I did get a response but I think all of us should continue writing on their wall. Way to go monkeygirl!!!

MonkeyGirl said...

Re: the last picture with the possible purple tank in the background- Notice the model in front, in particular the pants. This is why I am very careful when buying bottoms with a noticeable seam up the front. It's not a look I like to sport.

And thanks, Anon 11:21 :) Maybe if they hear enough they'll get on fixing the problem.

Here was Lulu's response:

"Thanks for sharing this with us. It's great to see your passion for our brand and product. Feedback is something we truly appreciate - it's what helps us push the envelope as a company from our gear to our guest experiences. Our product team receives all guest feedback through our channels and know that your thoughts and concerns are being heard. Great gear to sweat in with athletic capability in mind is something we're always looking for feedback in. If you feel there are any quality concerns with your items, please reach out to your local store (http://bit.ly/M4DekB) or us at the GEC (1.877.263.9300). "

MonkeyGirl said...

I wish Lulu would say- "Yes, we are having bleeding issues due to X, Y, and/or Z. We are taking the following steps to correct the problem...." But I knew that wasn't going to happen...

Minda said...

I see a lot of passionate sweaty feedback from them

MonkeyGirl said...

LOLOLOL Minda!!!!!!

They're probably like- whatever. We got Red coming. You'll buy it, wash it in vinegar, using color catching sheets, do special loads, and buy more. Even after our next price increase. So suck it.

Anonymous said...

One big experiment by LLL: how long will these fools keep buying this pricey stuff with the endless bleeding issues, spend SO much time trying to maintain and wash it, write about it, complain about it, all falling to LLL deaf ears?

Funny their reply, as always it'll go to the design team. Well it's the design team's "fault" in that they come up with and want to provide the great bright colours. Do the designers provide the chemical formula to create the color? Safe guess, no. The feedback needs to go to the MANUFACTURING team and obviously Christine Day. She herself has said quality issues are a slippery slope. Yes indeed, yes indeed. We shall see. You can always start a boycott LLL bleeding FB or twitter thing? Twitter seems more immediate re: trending.

Minda said...

HAHAH MG!! - its true . .. special laundry loads .. its shocking! I really do want all this POW Pink. I'm a sad panda! maybe we should reply asking if we can talk to the design team ourselves because CLEARLY all the memos they are "slipping to the design team" are falling on the floor.

MonkeyGirl said...

That poor design team.

Design team: "What are WE supposed to do about it? We are not in charge of contracting to cost cutting manufacturers who turn out faulty product!!!"

Customer service: "I don't know. But all complaints are to go to you. You don't have to actually do anything about it, but we think our customers are really stupid. If they hear a 'design team' is personally hearing their whining they'll feel fancy which will shut them up"

You girls are cracking me up! I think I started coming to the blog to see wat new products are coming and have stayed for the entertainment factor. Hee hee. MG great letter. I am gonna write one too. I wore my scoop me up (my lone purchase this month) to class today and my thoughts were "damn this tank is so f'ing cute why can't they get their act together and make quality items again!". I would buy more of them, but I wasn't even going to keep this tank until now. I love the color. I have probably spent $600 at beyond yoga, Lucy, and UA ths month. Sorry lulu....you got $60 of that. Yes lulu stuff is cute, but I started wearing it for their quality...which is no more IMO.

Those black leggings in the last pic are actually the black striped version of the purple ones also above. It's hard to tell since the pic is rather small, but the black ones are also striped. Very pretty, in a subtle kind of way. Hoping for crops in these!
Also, what kind of purple do we think that might be (in the leggings)? Concord again?
I really hope they put out pow pink and power purple Hot But Not Tanks too! I cannot wear the no limit, it's looks like a big bubble on me. So fingers crossed for the Hot But Not Tank!!!

Anonymous said...

And a Hot But Not Tank in the minty color!!!
(Sorry...I just LOVE that tank!)

Anonymous said...

Hey Saurkraut, I too am a pasty girl and the Pop Orange looks great on me! I am shocked that there is something named orange that I can actually wear. I had ordered the Hot But Not Tank and loved the color so much that I ordered the CRB this morning. You should totally go for it, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Sorry *Sourkraut*

Monkeygirl... VERY FUNNY ! :)

Yes, I wonder how long they will keep their heads in the sand.... maybe it will take a massive drop in sales for them to do something about it. They don't seem to take the feedback seriously....

Anonymous said...

Thats EXACTLY what needs to happen.
Why should they bother if we are still buying the clothes?
NOTHING will be done until it is reflected in their bottom line!

I am soooo confused by the bleeding issues...I got the Pow Pink in cool racerback racing length, soaked it over and over until water was clear, put in vinegar, soaked it more, wore it for a run 10K run with no problems, washed it, wore it to kick boxing last night, it bled all over my white bra...what the heck????!!!!!
