Serenity Sweater, 105F Singlet, Breath of Fire Skirt, and More

Photo of the new Serenity Sweater in Bordeaux Drama.  It's $148.

105F Singlet in Split Pea and new Breath of Fire Skirt in Bordeaux Drama. The singlet is $44 and comes in Angel, Black, and Bordeaux, too. It runs TTS for your Cool Racerback size (usually one size down from a tank with a built in bra.). The Breath of Fire skirt is $58. There is also a new long bra called the Breath of Fire bra ($52) but I haven't found and educator photo of it yet.
Photo of the new  luxtreme 105F crops and luxtreme/mesh Hot Spell Tank. The tank is $58.

I'm so glad to see bordeaux is sticking around. C'mon CRB!

I really love the new 105F tank! But I wish it came in colors that weren't exactly what I just bought in both CRB and turbo's!
Also please Lulu gods... can we have some new Flow Y bra bright colors?!? Especially in the Tonka stripe :)

OT I would love to see a NLT in Flare Tonka Stripe!

To add a different point of reference for sizing, my TTS is the same for Cool Racerbacks and tanks with built in bras, like Push UR Limits, Turbo Tanks, etc. Just for reference I'm a (5'7" 125LB 34D/36C) former college athlete, so I'm lean but muscular. As far as fitted tanks/tops, I've only ever had to size down in a Daily Tank. I rarely purchase poufy or baggy tanks/tops, but if there is a built in bra, I'm still TTS. Hope it helps some on here to have additional sizing info :)

OK, so I'm loving the Split Pea/Bordeaux combination. Not loving the sweater, singlet, or the new "105 degree" stuff. For one part, I've had a regular Bikram's yoga practice for 6 years and there are NO inversions in Bikram's yoga....so no value in a singlet (unless you are competing).

Lulu is so all over the map these days, but after all the drama in the past 8 months I've stopped drinking the "kool-aid" and just will not buy/"keep" anything I'm not totally in love with. There is always going to be more, and enough!

I'm really respecting some Lulu collectors, like our own LLA for putting thought and strategy into purchases.

Still waiting for the Milky Way print to hit my local stores, and the split pea LS switfly. I'm pretty sure I have everything else I want right now.

Man, I am loving that 105F singlet, and if it's uploaded in angel, I will "need" it. It'll be nice to have a tank other than a CRB, NLT, and scoop me up. I really liked the RUN: light as air tunic but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger and pay 88$. Just like there is no way I will pull the trigger on that sweater, that price point is just nuts imo.

I, too, take the same size tops across the board - all my tanks with built in bras as well as CRBs are a 6. However, I do size up in most bras! The only bra I've stayed tts is the energy bra...all others I've sized up to an 8.

went to lulu today and got the vest in black, the chevron power purple longsleeve, the purple slub denim wu crops, and the perfect layer tee, which i am for sure returning! i'll def try on the singlet in bordeaux when it arrives, and i'm interested in getting a better look at the hot spell tank and possibly these crops in other colors.
loving the vest, but i may return the chevron top and for sure the perfect layer. i can't justify these purchases and they sure are some hefty cash!
not that i'll be able to justify these new items either, but hey, they might look really different?!
here's to hoping :p

If anyone is wondering on orders from wmtm, since I think we're seeing lag time from ordering to shipping? I ordered some crops on Thursday and got my confirmation right away. However, they did not ship until today. I'm used to it all happening very quickly with confirmation and ship same day. I pulled up FedEx tracking and item is en route (so at least no lag time with seeing it on FedEx's site).

I also wear the same size CRB as tanks with built-in bras. I wish the straps in CRBs were not as long on me in that size but prefer the fit of the body and it is really my favorite tank style. The only tanks I have sized down in are looser styles like the power dance tank and energy.

TTS is really personal preference isn't it. I wear a 4 in most tops like No limits, Turbo etc and also bras... but size up to a 6 in CRB's as I like them to be loose around the stomach not skin tight. This 105 degree top looks nice a loose though so a 4 should work :)

I am 5'6", 140lb (very lean, otherwise would have been 125 max considering my petite build), 32 D and I am a 6 in EVERYTHING.

Received the Angel Blue CRB - just like LLA - going back. Yes, its soft - but WAY TOO THIN and flimsey. If I am going to spend over 40 bucks on a tank - it better be substantial...well made...and LAST. Love the color but NO Thank You - going back. I also received the Bordeaux Drama WU and they are gorgeous. The color is beautiful!! I think the color is classic and will last like blk and grey. It is a really nice neutral. It goes beautifully with black, gray, and also some older heathered dewberry/mauvey CRB's (from last year). It goes well with the blush, rose quartz, pink mist - all the light pinks AND it is gorgeous with the ziggy wee flash -- really super pretty!! I will also wear the bearduex drama WU with boots...nice purchase!!

@Charlotte why are you returning the Perfect Layer Tee? I was thinking in getting the long sleeve for $68, although u do think it is kind of expensive for a burnout fabric, and reviews say it is very thin and delicate. Still, would love to hear your opinion. Thank you.

I too have been seeing a couple day lag time between ordering and shipping. Sometimes it will ship right away and sometimes it will take a few days. It made me mad last week when I ordered a gift for my husbands birthday a week early and it didn't arrive until the day after .

Agree with Anon 9.23pm. Went to the store yesterday to try on the Angel Blue CRB and it was too flimsy. Did not feel good on my skin. Almost see through so did not get it. I also tried on the Presence Mind jacket. I love the Gray/Cream color combo. Super soft and unique styling. However, in my regular size I couldn't move my arms up over my head-- which is what you need to do to snap the button located behind the neck. I tried on the next size up and I could barely raise them up...still too small (note, I was wearing a sleeveless tank) . i sized up again and it fits better but the sleeves are too long but didn't look bad with the contrasted sleeves rolled up. Just for reference: 5'3",115 lbs, size 4 CRB and I bought a size 8 in this jacket. Have to see it again at home and decide whether to keep it.

This may have been answered in a previous thread, but does anyone know if the heathered dense purple astro pants are soft or if they're more like the denim slub? I want a pair but am not a huge fan of the slub. Thanks!

Does anyone know if these 105F crops are another low rise running crop? I have been waiting a long time for a colorful pair of running crops to be available online that aren't low rise. I am just loving the bordeaux color and hoping they are at least a medium rise.

What is with the prices lately? There's no way that sweater would have been anywhere close to that price a year or so ago. I just snagged a black iconic wrap at full price for $88 and it feels like a steal in comparison! How horrible is that?!?!

On the topic of shipping, I ordered early Tuesday after the upload on the website, and the order was in "processing" all week. Finally called GEC and the very helpful girl told me she would check on it, then called late afternoon to say it would ship Friday finally. Strange.

Also my previous order arrived with no packing slip, and I read on one of the blog comment sections that a lot of orders were shipping without shoppers, so maybe it's holiday time in the warehouse and they are simply short staffed?

Would like to say that any communication I have had on damaged items has been very positive and GEC has twice offered to send me shipping labels so I didn't have to pay return shipping. The 2nd time they didn't even ask for pictures of the damaged items (hole in a silverescent tank, and every swiftly top I have ordered in the pant 2 months has had stitching issues with the seams on the inside bottom hem). Many thanks to Lulu for making returns a little easier -- I'm several hours from a retail store so paying for returns is not fun!

I am loving the serenity sweater. It is such a pretty dress and will be perfect for non-workout street wear. Yes I wish the price was a bit lower, however, when this arrives at Trolley Square I will definitely like to try it on.

I like the angel CRB! It is thin and very soft but doesn't seem flimsy at all and the stitching is good. And the color is GORGEOUS. Flare stripe reminded me of a little boy's shirt.

I have the Angel Blue CRB and I love it all around. It is soft and silky. I don't see it as thin but lightweight. I have no worries about transparency. I've already washed and worn it and it is excellent for hot yoga and running and I'm happy to add it to my collection. I actually see it getting chosen to be worn more often vs. some of my other CRB's, and I only buy the ones I really love. While you can wear CRB's reversed, I never have but Angel Blue one I will: the royal blue stitching along the arms and neckline makes for a very pretty combination. It has a higher poly content but it does not feel or look cheap at all (unlike the printed CRB's in Mirage and Milky Way Multi).

Very happy to see the Bordeaux Drama color. Have been waiting for this color and I really hope LLL makes the Ebb & Flow in this color next!!! I'd snap those up in an instant.

Re: on-line ordering. The "Order Confirmation" email always states:
"Pending account authorization, you can expect all items to ship within 1 business day. Pretty fast, eh?" (at top) and "NOTE: For consumer protection, all orders are subject for review. On occasion, this may cause a slight delay in processing your order. Your patience is greatly appreciated." (at bottom). If you're a regular customer and haven't received shipment notification in a day or two, I'd be contacting them. I myself have not had a problem lately.

It is at trolly square , the fit is terrible!!, the neck makes no sense:(... I was so sad!!

p.s. the heathered angel CRB hang tag does state that it is luon light. The on-line description probably didn't state this? They should separate out luon light versions vs. other CRB material, the way they did with the pearl luxtreme extra long ones.

The main issue I have with the angel crb (besides the cheap feel) is that I tried it on with a pink lulu bra and I could clearly see it through the tank. I'm not too concerned about modesty, but it just really didn't look like a $42 tank. I want to be able to pair it with cute, colorful bras, like my energy bras. Not trying to be a complainer--I've only returned one other tank for this reason in my years of buying lulu.

I received my WMTM From a a week ago Thurs yesterday. I don't understand why if I order at 5:00 on Tues Morning from the upload, it get it by that Friday/Saturday, but if I order any other time, it takes a week+? AND that order came without a shopper. Hmmmm.......

Sophia said...

I love the angel blue crb. I have it on with a bruised berry flow y bra and can't see it through the tank at all...maybe some and sheer and some aren't? Another qc issue?? I don't know...mine in definitely lightweight, but not thin or sheer

Anonymous said...

I wonder if it is a quality issue with the Angel Blue CRB. I saw an Angel Blue CRB on someone that was my exact size and it was not sheer - PS however super sheer on me. Huh? Doesn't make sense. PS - I have a "ton" of CRB's and none of them are see-thru sheer like this last Angel Blue CRB.

@ anon 7:40 pm- what did you post about? Everyone's comments have been approved lately. Maybe you are looking at the wrong thread for it.

i got the serenity sweater yesterday. i bought a 2 and i normally wear an 8 in tops (6s more recently...shirts seem smaller). i'm broad-shoulders, small boobs, small waist. :)

the sleeves are NOT tight like the chai time pullover from last year. i tried a 4 first, but the neck was way too baggy (no boobs...if you are more stacked, it would probably look better). i tried it tunic-style with the baggy neck at the front and at the back. with a split pea top underneath, it would look amazing. i tried it with the vest (in a 10! ha ha) and that looked really cool.

i tried it at home later, the upside down way (like a poncho...took some fiddling with the sleeves), and it still fit. a larger size would probably be more suitable if you plan to wear it that way more often, because it would be a bit baggier/longer.
