I love the Groovy Run shorts sooo much -- I found your blog when I was searching for info about why they were discontinued. Are they online or in stores in the US yet? Also do we know if the new ones are 2 way or 4 way stretch?
I think lulu retired them to bring out some new designs - which were not that successful - and then brought them back, hopefully because of popular demand. They are not on line yet but hopefully will be uploaded tonight. Not sure about the 2/4 way.
i am really interested to hear people's opinions of these. I'm currently getting sick of my beloved nike tempos because they seem to be creating unnecessary bulk around my waist and butt (which i totally don't need!) sometimes i feel like the shorts make me look like i'm wearing a diaper. Ugh. Flat waistbands all the way!
I have a pair of the SeaWheeze Groovy Run shorts and I'm pretty sure they're 4-way stretch. The rise is a little higher than the turbos and the length is at least 2 inches longer overall, which is OK if you're a bit modest/shy about your bum. They're TTS with the turbo run shorts!
not super into the groovy runs...never tried them, but they look too long/narrow for me. i like the higher rise, but would like a shorter/wider short with a higher rise. i'm loving the bright at night (:
OT - i noticed today when wearing my wunder groove crops that they have an outside leg seam...but regular wuc don't (they just have the seam on the inside leg). it's kind of annoying (just for aesthetic reasons) - why would they put an outside seam on the wunder grooves when they don't on regular wunder unders???
I wonder about the reviews for the new items that are having sheerness issues. Half of the reviews point out the HUGE issue of the see-thru fabric and the other half are 5 stars with only praise.
Does anyone else think that some of those 5 star reviews are perhaps written by lulu employees? I never even thought that lulu would do something like that, but now I'm not so sure...
OT- anyone know around what season/colors they changed the Scoop Neck tank to the longer length? Bought one off eBay and I hate how short it is. I much prefer the newer fit (I have concord grape, lavender dusk, and march WAFS)
@ baconfits- I LOVE the wunder under crops and I don't have problems with sheerness or camel toe like many other people do. I had a tiny bit of sheerness with the ebb and flow crops though and those were another that some people did and some didn't as well. I really do believe that since we all have different body types/shapes our clothes would obviously fit us all differently. One thing I will say though is that I have had to return products for bad stitching and for not looking how it was represented on the website (like the currant scuba) and that sucked:-(
@anonymous 2:16PM. I have the Paris Pink & Elevation Space dye scoopnecks from ~ Dec. 2011, and they're a longer length. I'm guessing the length changed prior to that. I'm guessing the color way you purchased is from a release prior the holiday 2011 releases, but I am not certain.
@anon 1:37 - yeah, i have only 1 pair of the wunder grooves. i like them for the higher rise (regular wunder unders always give me muffin top, they're just a bit too low). bummer, because the rise on the wunder grooves is nice but now that i noticed that leg seam, i won't be getting anymore. luckily, there are also astro wunder unders....which i love even more! the astro wunder unders don't have the outside seem AND the waistband comes up high enough.

I've never tried these but would like to. Are people normally the same size in the groovy run as they are in speeds and turbos?

Sophia--that is why i sold all my WU grooves! I know people love them, but I don't think that outside seam is very flattering...
