New Speed Short Color - Pretty Pink/Bordeaux

New color combo in the Speed Shorts - Pretty Pink/ Bordeaux. There are also Turbo shorts in this same combo opposite color scheme - bordeaux with pretty pink trim. (Thanks to Ms. A. for the photo.)

No! What is with the light pink? Maybe if it was all Bordeaux with pink trim, maybe I'd look at them, although doubtful. Didn't they already do this short in blush quartz or whatever? Wasn't that enough?

In store recently, I could have bought the tonka stripe SS with flare accent, or the Eigth gingham blahblahblah colour, but I passed on both. It's Autumn where I am, crop time. The last thing I need is another pair of SS that I won't wear until next year. I know there will be some new cool version/pattern next year (I just hope not these baby pink that looks like underwear speed shorts.)

I like that combination, but worry about sheerness issues.

Ugh, I'm not a fan... What's with Bordeaux in everything. I don't like the color so I am longing for some greens or deep purples... Something other than maroon please.

pink, purple, red, pink, purple, red... ugh, so sick of this side of the color wheel. I know it's been said a million times lately, but where the heck is green? Does LLL realize that color exists? Maybe if we complain enough about it they'll take notice... at this point I would buy portapottie speeds, turbos, WU, bra, and probably would buy it in like 3 tank styles. That's how badly i want a shade of green in something... ANYTHING.

you can see the built in underwear with them just lying there, don't even want to imagine how sheer they are on an actual human being!

The pink looks as sheer as the angel blue speeds. I passed on those too. I saw turbos on eBay- They were Bordeaux w/ pink accents.

I'm looking for cute cold weather gear too. There aren't many more days left when I can wear shorts.

And if I really want the purple speeds, I'm sure I can find them on the exchange or eBay in the spring.

just saw on lulu mum that there is a new orange color...like creamsicle (because that's fall/winter right!?) pretty color but would have loved it this summer

hopeful sign that there are other new colors?

Yeah I kind of love the new ornge though despite the season. Saw on another site some light green. So hoping to see more of that!!

Anon 8:49 where did you see light green?!?

Tired of pink/bd. Are they going for the economy of scale with fabric and dye? Completely opposite of their old strategy of attracting customers with limited quantity of products.

Agree that these look just like the angel blue ones- really thin, delicate fabric that looked worn before I even tried them on. I have a problem with speed shorts that I'm in between sizes!! I am right in between 8 and 10. I don't like how all the speeds look different- I want some consistency! My favorite pair are the pow pink elevation stripe- the 8 fits perfect. I hate the 4 way stretch. Really wanted to love the flare/tonka stripe speeds but the 8 was far too small... will continue to search for a 10.

I love Pretty Pink, but I, too, am worried about the sheerness factor in shorts. Although I am not a fan of all the Bordeaux, the Speed Shorts should have been made to look like the turbos with the lighter Pretty Pink trim and darker shorts. The Angel Blue Speed Shorts were too sheer and it has nothing to do with a tight fit because I prefer to wear my running shorts loose and longer, so I always size up in Speed Shorts in order to wear them lower on my hips. My local store has so many returned Angel Blue Speed Shorts hanging around with no one interested in buying them because of the ultra sheer fabric and weird fit.

Creamsicle is a summer color and it's just another orange, but the Violet intrigues me as well. The Albert Lake teal color could be a purchase, but only as a SOLID color. I'm over the multitude of stripes and designs that resemble my great-grandmother's couch. Also on the Luon Light Power Y tanks on the US website, the photos do not match the color descriptions in the 2 new Alberta Lake designs. They are reversed. Sure hope that doesn't result in order fulfillment mixups/problems like what happened to many people in the past when there were similar website photo mixups. Another website "glitch" LLL? For the prices you are charging us, everything from Website Design to Customer Service should be of the highest quality. Come on now LLL, do a better, more professional job in marketing/selling your merchandise.
