Upload!!

Pretty New Bordeaux Keep On Running Duffel

It wasn't a huge upload after all. There are some interesting new items such as the fleece Gustbuster Jacket and Vest. Also, a limited edition poster for $40:

Anyone ordering the poster?
Nothing for me tonight. I'd like a Pigment Stripe or Bordeaux CRB if/when they come out. What did you all order?

Twinkle Emboss Black Keep On Running Duffel
PS - Interesting new rain jacket hint in this photo. It looks like the white version is shown in the photo of the Bordeaux Keep on Running Duffel. I think I've heard this jacket is already at some stores.

Nothing for me in this upload. The crops are interesting but for the price I'll wait for more reviews or if I'm lucky, the strategic partner here would get some and I could try them on. I'm loving the tonka stripe cashew/flare light color combo though.

$40 for a poster is ridic, IMO.

Nice to see more items in currant released. Nothing for me this week. Haven't ordered anything since the currant Turbo shorts were uploaded.

I kind of want the Bordeaux drama Catch Me.

I'm with you....nothing for me either. Disappointing upload. No money for LLL, but more for me.

Nothing for me for the first time in years. Good feeling really but I wanted some newer speed squad shorts.

nothing for me, first time i hsvent bought anything in over 3 months!

If I get anything I'll get the twinkly star speed shorts but I don't need a new pair. It'll probably be a pass for me.

Nothing for me. I was hoping for a pigment stripe crb too and will order one if it ever appears.

I didn't order anything. Lately my local store is getting everything that is uploaded. I'd rather try the items on and not have to wait over a week for them to arrive via Fed Ex.
I am interested in some of the running pants but it is difficult to tell from the photos if there is ankle detail that will prevent them from being hemmed.

My Lulu had racks of mark downs over the weekend. I got the perfect layer tee for $38 and the warrior pants for $68. The Nada jacket was also marked down to $69 but I didn't like it, it felt like a blouse not a jacket.

Yay nothing! Def want the Bordeaux define, I'll look in stores this week on Saturday. I also want the black denim wunder unders, I think they will look cute w the pigment leg Warmers I got. I do like the Bordeaux catch me but I haven't worn my power purple one all that much so I'm not going to buy.

Terrible upload!!!! Can't believe I woke up at 3:20am for that!!! UGH... :(

Another disappointing product upload week.

I strength-train and pole dance, so many of the items over the past few weeks do not speak to me whatsoever.

I am left baffled, confused and disappointed.

I think the schizophrenic designs and product drops over the past few weeks have had a sobering effect on me.

If next week is as 'great' as this week, I am taking a long hiatus from Lulu-Land.

Like the jacket in the duffle posters. I'm going to my store tonight anyway so I'll see if they have the new jacket.

Agree with other poster... $40 for a poster? Really?

Nothing for me either. I was thinking about the Bright at Night pant but I'm sort of thinking they might look weird with sneakers with the longer bunchy leg.

anyone know what's going on with this micro diamond mesh instead of circle mesh? I'm going to be so sad if they stop using the circle mesh. It is one of my favorite Lulu fabrics. :/

does anyone know if those flare accent speed shorts were uploaded? i didn't see them but just wanted to be sure- i was hoping to get those!

Nothing for me. The Star Runner tops are cute, but it's still 100 degrees here so I can't think about long sleeves, pullovers, and Rulu. Jealous of you ladies in cooler weather!

Anonymous said...

Not yet but I will look at those Bright At Night tights.

LLL is always making another nice jacket but honestly I'm bored now. I hope they make something more technical for colder temps, including a longer back of the jacket for covering one's posterior. Also, a Winter weight running tight/pant please. Also, they're still only offering the Brisk Run Glove and Brisk Run Toque as their cold weather accessories? The gloves are no good for really cold temps. The hat, while good looking, has a hole in it (I get it, for a ponytail) and there should be an option without one or one needs to be able to close it, zip or snap shut.

I know I sound critical but their lack of innovation and progress for
Winter technical gear is a miss. There's a little too much of resting on one's laurels, LLL.

Also wanted to mention, interesting point LLA has made about LLL being absent and/or only lackluster offerings at major runs/run expos. I have noticed this too. Guess they think they don't need to go and represent! Yes the brand is a magnet once you wear it but it is still unexplored by a lot of people. I hear they read this blog, so maybe they'll clue in that they need to work a little harder and capitalize on obvious opportunities.

For once the AUS site got more stuff than the CAD/USA sites! Nothing uploaded to use interested me this time, but on the AUS site there's lots of goodies i'd like to see make it to NA(flare striped speeds, angel blue/black turbos, flare swiftly tank, tonka stripe/flash light inspires, pretty pink define..). I want all that stuff!

I love the look of the bordeaux drama stripes, but hate the "bra clasps" style of the Catch Me tank. If it comes out in a Power Y, I'm there.

Love that pigment rain jacket in the last pic!!

I'm shocked that the Bordeaux Tonka Stripe Define and the Pretty Pink Tonka Stripe In Stride were not uploaded. My local store had them fully stocked a week ago, last Monday 8/27/12. I agree that LLL's multiple but limited assorted colors and their scarcity theory is definitely NOT working for them. At this price point, I want quality, function, versatility, and a reasonable amount of matching. I'm not paying this much to look like I'm wearing Joseph's coat of many colors! Can't really decide if LLL knows anything about retail or fitness, or if they're merely on some power trip attempting to control the customers that they like to mock with color names like Portapottie and Split Pea? Whatever it is, their profits will be affected and they can't hide their losses from the SEC forever.

HORRIBLE upload. This is the second week of disappointing uploads. Still waiting for Bordeaux WUC and CRB or Run swiftly tank. Not liking these new hippie dippie items.... Fail!!

I didn't buy anything. Nothing appeals to me.

Agree w/ anon 6:11 in regards to the cold weather gear and the no-show at race expos.

If I'm to buy a running jacket from LLL, it needs to be wind and water proof. So far, my best performing jacket came from target- keeps me dry and with a LS top (or 2) it keeps me warm. Best part- 39.99. I've felt the jackets lulu has out- and I can tell that the wind and rain/snow will go right through them. Currently, my true cold weather gear does not come from LLL.

I haven't seen LLL at the race expos either- I would think they would have some sort of presence at the Chicago marathon expo. 45,000 people sign up to run it. We have at least 8 stores in the area. Come on. They do come out and cheer at the race, but that's all I've seen.

Nothing for me either. I am really wanting to try the Star runner tight and the bright at night tight, I'll do that in my store if we get them.

I like the star runner short sleeve but I cannot get over the price tag on it.

The Gustbuster is interesting but I'm not sure how timely that look will be. I am all about fad/fashion/trend, but I can just see myself purchasing the jacket or vest and not liking it at all in a few months.

I think maybe I'm starting to feel a little better about my base collection of Lulu as I'm starting to be more selective in my purchases, vs. impulsive. My Husband probably disagrees:)

That jacket is CUTE! I'm screwed when it comes out because I'm sure the price will be crazy.

Nothing for me in this upload either.

Nothing for me- a nice break for my wallet. :)

A very uninspiring upload. I do want an Angel Blue swiftly, but I'm not in dire need of one, so I can put that off.

What I really want is a Sing Floss Travel jacket, or something similar. I want a cute zip-up jacket with a hood that I can throw on over my workout clothes and wear around. I don't want ruffles or frills or random other designs. I don't want mesh panels because I primarily want to wear it around, not to run in. I want a series of decent colors, not just black or white. I don't want it to be super-short or super-long. It needs to not be too heavy, either. It needs to be cozy without being too warm.

I agree with you. The bordeaux drama stripes looks gorgeous but I would prefer it in a CRB or NLT. I've tried the Catch Me Tank when it first came out and the front edge rolls under.

Anonymous said...

I love the new colors in the Catch Me tank but am unfamiliar with the style. Would love to have the pigment and the gray that came out! Any opinions?

I was going to order the Star Runner shirt but the price really got to me. I love the LS detail but the SS would've been more useful for me. I just think that top is overpriced by a good $10 (LS and SS)--and I'm going by lulu pricing, not rational pricing. I decided to try the Star Runner crops instead since I could actually use another pair of running crops. I went with the Tonka Cashew stripe. I see on AUS side they have that color in 2 or 3 other crop styles. I still am waiting on my perfect Bordeaux Drama piece. The color is gorgeous but I would like it in a different style than the Run:Catch Me Tank. That duffel in BD is gorgeous but too much and not particularly needed at the moment.

@ Focus - I am in the same boat as you where my LLL "collection" is now big enough that I am becoming more selective in my purchases. I'm kind of a broken record though because i tend to stick with the same styles and am still uncomfortable branching to order new things online (like this Star runner stuff or the run catch me tank).

What i really want is another cute fall/winter wrap of some kind in a NICE or stand-out color. I have the iris live healthy wrap and it my favorite item of all time, i would totally buy another. As others have mentioned I would also buy a Sing floss if that came out in a nice color. i'm just so bored of all these boring colors in wraps and burnout T-shirts!

@Anon 10:55: I bought it in the Caspian (before all the new pretty colors, drat!). I'd say it is a reasonably good running top - I'd buy another one if it went to WMTM, but not at this price. I go between 6 and 8 in LLL tanks and went with a 6 for this one--the 8 had too much bounce to be worn with out a sports bra. I get a little bit of back fat in the 6, but worth it for the support. I'm a 36C for reference--you DEFINITELY need the cups for the support. The plastic clasps don't bother me, but the straps can get a little constricting after a while. I don't wear it for runs longer than 4 miles. All of that being said, it looks REALLY cute on--perfectly form fitting and supportive. And the sticky band at the bottom is great--the shirt doesn't ride up on me at all.

Nothing for me. I wanted some speed shorts but I think the star ones look like tween clothing. I'm just not a fan of stars I guess.

I was holding out for some bordeax wu crops so I could return the wu pants. Didn't happen tho, and tomorrow is the last day for me to return them so I guess I'm keeping them.

Really hoping for some coal/black reversible pique wu crops like last years. That would be my lulu wish!

@ Anon 7:32 - what store did you see the BD tonka strip Define and the Pretty PInk tonka stripe Stride?
