@ anon 9:25 - I did read the rumor that Strides are being discontinued. So I don't know if that means both In Strides and Strides or just Strides, the one with the hood.

@9:13 - I agree! I was hoping for a new bangbuster upload as well.

Has anyone seen the herringbone or the MMS Polar cream one in stores yet? Are they just not online?

Hello LLA & Fellow Addicts!

Sorry for going OT, but I'm going to be in NYC this weekend for the RocknRoll 10K and was wondering if anyone could offer insight as to which of the 6(!) stores in Manhattan receives the latest merchandise/has the best stock. I'm in search of TV items (especially the online-sold-out-CRB) and would greatly appreciate any advice.

Thanks so much!

Thanks for the heads up...my gym has one Stride jacket in black. I was going to hold out and wait for a more exciting color but if it's my only option..I'll take it.

Love the Back on Track tank! Was my first lulu purchase. Hoping they bring back all of the Back on track line as well. I'd like to pick up another skirt as well.

No, not the Strides! That is by far my favorite Lulu item :(

@anon 10:53 - my advice is the Upper East Side store (Madison and 85th). I dot go there frequently, but when I do it always seems to have product that union square and soho haven't gotten yet. That said, I haven't seen the TV crb in any NYC stores yet....

I am so over this color scheme! Bring on this Rasperry whatever color! Also, I'm the anon who's been asking for running tights feedback recently, and I've decided to skip these Runder Unders in hope of some fleece tech tights or something more luxtreme-ish and compressive. Due to my shorty-short legs, I would have to chop off most of the cute color-blocking on the RU pants, and I would imagine that the blocking would start mid-shin on me instead of just below the knee as its supposed to. Hopefully, LLL will release something great that works for me soon. Otherwise, I'll be heading to Sports Authority to get Nike tights. I'm running a December marathon, and I doubt I'll be comfortable temp-wise in crops. So, I've got to get some pants pretty soon to test them properly.

its too bad, i just saw a photo of the runder unders and you can completely see the raspberry colour through on the black side. seriously they look cheap.

its too bad as what a fun idea for mixing up outfits, cold canadian temps, just something different.

i liked the idea but the execution is a fail. check out the photos, its a cheap cheap look due to what i can only assume is fabric thinness...i did not see them in person so that is my guess, fabric.

***when i am trying to prove i am not a robot, i fail entering that info many times, why are the numbers so darn blurry!!!

My search for winter weight running tights started my purchasing with LLL since I wasn't happy with the compression or features in the regular brand selection. I liked the wide flat waist panels of the LLL running tights and the inclusion of a zippered pocket at the back. Most brands just tack on a non zippered tiny key pocket inside the front of the tights and have a regular sweatpant type waist band that cuts in when running. I don't remember the name of the style that they had last December when I first saw them. They are thick fleeced luxtreme and have two zippered pockets on the thighs. Nice thick material. The runder under tights felt nice and soft, but I expected them to be thicker. I have a pair of rulu running tights from last years that are gray with reflective sparkles on the lower legs and ruched material there. They are super soft and warm for winter without being too hot. I live in the Seattle area and winter running usually means rain here, and I find the LLL tights do well with getting wet without being heavy or sliding down during half marathons. I hope they don't continue to make the material thinner and thinner. I have a feeling I found LLL just before quality took a big nosedive. They seem to be trying for trendy these days over solid performance gear. Please stick to improving core well-tested items over endless 'new' and flawed pieces.

hi 10:53 I am in NYC and the store I visit most is the one in Union Square.
They tend to get a few things ahead of time. Like the namaste tote III was there a few weeks ago. Their sales are also pretty good. and the Educators are always very nice and not pushy. Have fun In NYC.

OT but just got my order from last weeks upload and I must say, the alberta lake WU pants are a WINNER! I bought them for casual wear. I would give them a 9/10 (would be a 10 if they had the oval gusset).

oh yeah and the black rose herringbone define is possibly my favorite now, the pattern is gorgeous and it is nice and cozy!!
