Daily Om Duffel, Bundle Up Jacket, Light As Air Panties

Shown with Back to Class Jacket, Spincity SS, and Alberta Lake Herringbone Wunder Unders

Photos of the new Daily Om Duffel in Albert Lake green. It also comes in Polar Cream.

 Bundle Up Jacket in Black.

Run With Rover pant in Alberta Lake. Shown with the First Base Tank and Bundle Up Jacket.

New Light As Air Undies. Anyone try these yet? I am pretty happy with my Zobha Yoga Panties. The last time I tried a pair of the Lululemon laser cut undies they tended to ride up on me.

i think i'd love that duffel if it weren't for the zipper detail. i HATE how the entire zipper tape is on the outside of the bag...it looks cheap. i want a bag with a properly sewn zipper.

and i want to know about the new panties too! the groovy girl panties never worked...they always rode up. i like the techni panties (both thongs and bikinis), but they create vpl under tights... do these new ones ride up and are they really vpl-free???

Have you seen the Rose Herringbone print in what looks like Alberta Lake and black/coal on the Free to Be Bra? It looks really good in that color combination!

Sorry, vpl?? Those run with rover pants are just dreadful looking? What 's with the seriously sloppy look?

Sandra said...

Um, those rover pants look very unflattering.

I think that the new duffel is pretty, but 120 bucks! Lululemon bags are just getting so expensive these days.

a little off topic: can LLA or anyone else give me tips on which way the bra cup inserts should go into a tank top/bra? My SA inserted the wider end pointing into the middle, with the narrow ends pointing outward, but I found a lululemon blog post where someone says the narrow end should point inward, and also that the numbered end should point inward. On my cup inserts the numbers are on the wide end of the "egg" or "pear" shape. Which way is correct? Thanks!

1. No more Hammer Pants please, Lulu.
2. Agree with Sophia Really: zipper on the satchel.
3. Why is there a need for yoga panties? Just pick some opaque pants and go commando!

What time of the year do the tech fleece running pants normally get released? People keep mentioning them, so I'm curious!

Any hints on what is hittin wmtm tonight? Anything special on sale in the stores?

@ Anon 3:35:

The numbers should face each other.

If you sit the removable cup down on a table (pointed end on table; open part of cup face up), or in your hand, you will also notice that one side of the cup (imagine looking at a side profile of an egg--the long arc of the profile) is kind of "steeper" with a more "steep" edge.

This is from LLL's website.
"The narrower end (of the pad) will be in the centre. If you think of it like an egg, the top of the egg will be in the centre and the round bottom of the egg will be towards your arms. You’ll also note that when you have it on it’s side like that, that the cup has a curve more on one side than the other. You want the fullest part of the curve to be on the bottom."

Once I laid the cup on a table, it made sense to me, and it really made a difference.

Hope this helps.

I was told that the numbers go to the outside/closest to the armpit.

Also wondering about the new underwear.
LLA - I think I'm going to try the Zobha undies. I was poking around the site and found their straight leg capris as well. Have you tried them before? With the quality and gusset issues with the WUCs I would like to try other stores!

Hey Anonymous at 3:35PM:

I specifically wanted that answer too, when I bought a tank that looked really weird with the inserts in. Turns out they were placed in there wrong! So what I found out was that the numbers should face out and the smaller side of the egg shape should point to the middle. HOpe that helps!

Any ideas for the WMTM upload tomorrow? I didn't see too many markdowns in my store this week, but there never are (they move stock SO FAST that we never get a good markdown rack bleh).

@ W - I have a pair of the Zobha capris. I thought they run kind of small for the size chart. The rise is low and they slide down my butt when I walk. They don't work for my bedonkadonk butt at all. I got them on sale for something like $25 so I couldn't return. The material is nice, though.

@anon 3:35 - lol. i've thought about this a lot, too! i don't know what the "official way" to do it is, but i definitely always put mine in the same way each time. i put the wider end toward the middle, the narrower end toward my armpit. also, you'll notice that the pointy part (the part where if the insert were an actual boob, the nipple would be) is also off center...i put it so the shorter end is on top and the longer end on bottom, if that makes sense. i think of it as "perky boob" instead of "saggy boob". to do this, you might have to "flip" one of the cups inside out so that they're mirror images. for me, i think this insert configuration makes my boobs look the best/most natural. i would say try the inserts out every way possible and determine which you think looks the best on you and stick with it. oh, and one other thing - i've also noticed that sometimes cups that are a larger size than the tank/bra work better for hiding the cup lines. i always use size 8/10 cups though i wear a 6 in tanks.

@anon 4:11 - if im planning on seriously sweating an wearing the pants only once before washing them, i go commando. but sometimes, i want underwear...say if i'm going for a run and want to wear the same running tights tomorrow again...i'd prefer to wear underwear to keep things cleaner. also, i generally wind up wearing my gym clothes all day - i'm out of the door from first thing in the morning until night, and carry everything with me (nyc, no car), so i prefer not to have to carry a full change of clothes. there are times during the month when things down there are - let's say...more active - than others. and when i'm wearing my leggings all day during these times it's nice to have on some underwear as an extra layer/barrier so i'm not worried so much about wet spots. otherwise, 80% of the time i go commando (:

I also go commando in Lululemon crops/pants- I have a big butt for my size so any kind of underwear rides up during yoga and is super annoying.

So glad someone asked about the cups! I don't know why I have not thought to check into that before but I have been wearing them with the wrong ends pointed in. Nice to know--thanks for the info!

RE fleece lined tights.... I think the first pair released last year came out in late November 2011 in paris pink... then another version in Decemberin pigment. There may have been more, but those were what I bought. Although my paris pink pair was defective/see through and Im wishing I would have noticed before I ripped the tags off. Great for even the coldest of days though!

Sorry OT, however I received my black swan and my black back to class jacket. Debating on which to keep. I don't have anything in black swan, however am trying to decide what colours it goes with? I mostly have black bottoms, but the black swan when paired with black looks faded.

also, strangely enough, my comment at:
http://www.lululemon.com/community/blog/creative-cup-uses/ trying to clarify what i thought were conflicting instructions got deleted instead of being answered.. don't understand that at all.

$120 is too much for that plain jane bag. The handles are too narrow for this shapeless duffle and there are no differentiating design features other than the awkward grosgrain ribbon trim along side the zipper.

Wearing the same running pants twice without washing them after you has run in them the first time? Not even when I run in the deep minus double digits Celcius I could do that. That area up there always sweats and leaves its natural scent on the tights. And I never go commando and wear a panty liner with my tong, also to prevent sweat from being absorb in that are by the pant directly, looking as if I had done it in my pants. Maybe it's just me, but I always wash everything after a run or a workout, even if I just take a Tai Chi class.

Black swan goes super nice with the bordeaux :) I missed out on the BS color last year but only the CRB this year caught my eye enough to buy. Although I am tempted by the BS/orange astros. I can't believe the Star Runner short sleeve has not moved to WMTM yet, at least in the US - no one is buying it!

I always go commando when I workout in shorts or tights. I like to let my body breathe. I also always pre-wash all new lulu or otherwise stuff before wearing and I take my workout clothes off and wash them when I am done. I pack them in a plastic bag if am not home. that is the way to keep nasty fungal infections at bay.

W said...

Agree with you 7:41pm: I returned my BS CRB because it looked so faded next to black. I was really disappointed with the color in real life.

10:22 PM, I'm with you, I always pre-wash anything new and never go commando (ewww!!!) I wear the right underwear that are good for my bodily health and my clothes' health. Any gear gets washed immediately after any workout activity, it does not sit for an instant.

On Black Swan, I think the present CRB is great.
