More of the Latest

Another photo of the Tender Violet No Limit Tank. Too bad this isn't solid TV. I got my Tender Violet Cool Racerback today and just love it. Hoping there is an Alberta Lake Cool Racerback coming.

Rose Herringbone Side Angle Pants and Free to Be Tank.

In Australia now - the Alberta Lake Team Spirit SS.

The Silver Slate Polar Cream Stripe/Rose Herringbone Back on Track Tank.

Alberta Lake SS Swiftly and Runder Unders. I can't believe their is snow on the ground in some places already. It's barely October.

Tender Violet All Sport Bra. Since the All Sport showed up again I've been wearing mine more. I forgot how much I like this bra.
The Spinerett bra is finally in Southern California.

Not really a fan of No Limits tank but I love the contrasting black and tender violet! I find my TTS way too baggy and unflattering around my middle but if I size down the bra is too tight and creates backfat. Oh well not a top for small waist and big hips/butt.
Also hoping to find a Alberta lake CRB! I missed out on the tender violet one but did get the black swan and in love with it.

does anyone know why they have taken down the scuba hoodies in the newest colours they recently posted? seems like creamsicle, black swan and the grey checked are no longer online...

Did anyone notice that they removed the thin non ribbed side scubas from the website -- my theory is that these were outlet items that they tried to sell at full price and received too much backlash -- so removed them -- they will probably put them back up as SE ad jack the price up 20 bucks!! LOL!!

Up here in Alberta it snowed last week. Not unusual for this part of the world :)

I think the back on track tank looks weird with the conflicting patterns in the bra part.

I'm hoping for more first base tanks. I love these!! And an AL CRB would be awesome.

I got my spinerette bra and really, really like it! It fits very well and offers great coverage and the straps don't dig in like the top speed tank. Only thing is it looks weird under CRB's which is what I bought it for. I would say this is more of a bra to wear solo but I just don't have the guts for that!

Tender Violet Report:
Before wearing at all, I washed my TV CRB, bang buster headband, fly away tamer headband, and run for a latte socks. I put them in my washing machine with cold water on 'handwash' cycle with an extra rinse cycle. I threw in an old white t-shirt as well to find out if there was any color bleeding or transfer.
When the wash was over, I only found one tiny spot of purple on the white t-shirt (smaller than the tip of my pinky finger).
So I think that's pretty good...

That's too funny! You make a great point-- I wonder if they were supposed to be outlet items. I saw them for the first time in the store yesterday, and I was really surprised at what a difference from the normal scuba! One educator told me she didn't see any difference....how can they not see that one is shorter, lighter, and lacking ribbed panels?

What's also weird- the new ones have ribbing under the arms, but no side panel ribbing.

OT - I was in the Bellevue Square store this week and the whole store had this awful chemical smell. What is up with that?

You know what's weird? I heard that the new creamsicle pop Scubas were the ones that were shorter, boxier and missing the side stretch panels, but I saw some in my local store last night and they had the stretch panels. I didn't try one on, so I can't speak for the shortness or overall boxiness that people have been complaining about, but I definitely saw the side stretch panels. That makes me wonder if there was a bad batch made in one of the factories that people are winding up with? I would be extremely disappointed if they changed the current design of the Scuba--it is perfect the way it is, IMO. I have maybe 10 of them and wear them constantly. I would be very sad if I had to resort to Ebay to make future purchases.

Maybe they've taken the new Scubas off so they can create a separate description for them that is CORRECT.

How is sizing with the All Sport bra? I wear an 8 in the energy and a 10 in the 50 rep and just wondered how the All Sport fits.

There is way too much going on with that Back on Track tank. And I say that as someone who loves that particular tank style in general--I have the black one from last year and adore it madly. In fact, of all the lulu tanks I own, that and my concord grape Power Dance tank are the ones that consistently get compliments from other people.

I really wish we could get a Push Ur Limits in the Tender Violet color. Since I know that's highly unlikely, I may just get the Free To Be tank in that color, though.

I haven't seen pictures of the polar cream rose herringbone NLT yet. I picked one up at the San Jose store on Wednesday.

I got my Devotion ls today and although it is very thin, the purple is gorgeous. I also really really love the Alberta Groovy shorts and am glad I decided to get them even though I am a dedicated black shorts person. I also tried on the Free to Be tank in store and felt it was a touch more supportive than the bra. I left with two of those, black swan herringbone WUs and surprisingly NOT the Alberta Swiftly I went there for.

Is the All Sport bra more supportive than the energy bra?

@ anon 12:52 pm - I think the All Sport fits snugger than the Energy but not enough to size up. The All Sport cuts into my armpit and flattens me out so I only have one. I have a 12 so couldn't go up in the all Sport.

@ Christie - I think it is. The straps have elastic in them.

I saw the creamsicle scuba in Bellevue Washington yesterday evening and the did have panels but were NOT the normal stretch panels.

I am a size 4 in flow Ys, but I couldn't get the size 4 all sport bra over my head!! So, I did size up. I have also sized up to a 6 in the engage and energy bras, and I've possible lost some support. However, I need to get my heart rate monitor under the band, and I just couldn't do that without compromising my breathing by staying in my flow Y size. I do stay a 4 in tanks-all tanks, though.

I bought the AL swiftly, mainly to go with my AL eight gingham print groovy shorts. It's definitely muted in comparison to the AL luxtreme items, but there's something about it that appeals to me....probably because I wanted to match it to my groovy runs.

Did you decide to keep your TV Devotion? I can't decide if I should keep mine. I would definitely have to layer over mine as I live in a colder climate.

I recall someone posting in another thread that she saw the (non-ribbed side panel) creamsicle scuba at an outlet earlier this year or last year. Perhaps it was a 'bad batch' but don't the new black swan scubas have non-ribbed side panels as well? I was in a store and this either seems to be the way they are going, or, perhaps they were trying to see if this would fly with customers, loyal or new?

I have no use for a scuba with non-ribbeed panels, shorter and made of thinner material. I'll happily stick with the 3 I have. They were expensive enough and are great quality (all from the past 2 years), but I'm not going to settle for less!

I got my tv devotion ls t the other day and love it. The material is on the thinner side but I couldn't see through it at all. The color is beautiful and definitely a keeper.

I love the Back on Track Tank but not in those colours, it really looks like a crazy old aunt got a bit carried away with her quilting techniques.

Thanks for the feedback on the All Sport bra! Not sure if I will be able to visit a store anytime soon but am considering this one.
