NEW Rose Print Scuba

From a Hong Kong PN - a pretty new Roses Print Scuba Hoodie. I assume this is the new Scuba Stretch style. (Thanks to Ms. W. for the tip.)

It is the scuba stretch style. My store in Austin, TX got them in yesterday and I tried it on. Cute pattern but it's not the cute fit! It does have rasberry glo piping around the inside of the hood which is really cute too!

@LLA The Towel Mat with the typo that you mentioned earlier this week just went on WMTM for $4 off. Thats pretty insulting to your customers lulu

I really like it. Im not happy about the price point. I dont mind that lll cheapened it by making it light weight. I live in socal. A heavy duty scuba is not needed in socal, just my opinion though.

Holy moly!!!! I sat down and READ all the Lulu reviews of the new scuba and 98% of the reviews were BAD!!! So...although I love some of the colors now, I'm passing on the new scuba design, until they end up I'm WMTM at 50% off. :) I can't justify paying over $100 on a crappy design/fit and cheap materials being used. I scored a GORGEOUS hoodie, excellent quality, lined hood, ect at Hollisters ON SALE for $39 from $80!!! The hoodie material was actually much nicer quality, than the hoodies produced from Lulu over this past year. seriously, go check them out!!! can't beat that price!!

Looks like fabric from grandma's old dress was recycled to make a hoodie.

Is the hood also smaller now? It doesn't look like it fits over her head at all

This new scuba style, once again, looks like a disaster. I love the new colors and would have already purchased 2 of them, had they been regular scubas. But I will not pay this kind of money for a jacket that is shorter and thinner.
And you have heard me say it before, I cannot stand when I can but my hands in my pockets and lift my boobs, which is not a comment on the size of my breast (they are small), but more of a comment on the dang pocket placement!

This looks like a shrunken hoodie!! Hood is too small, and her arms are way up in order to use the pockets. But when you look at the fit in the body, it`s not too tight so she is wearing the right size. WTH Lulu!!

I like that pattern, and I think it might be pretty cute, but I will never buy one of their new scuba stretch hoodies! It definitely feels cheaper than the previous scuba.

By the way, does anyone know what the new pacesetter skirt looked like this week? By the time I checked the website (at 5am) they must have all be sold out.... since they only have old patterns online now. I'm guessing it might have looked similar to the new speed shorts that came out this week?

OK, I know I sound like I drink the Lulu Cool Aid and I feel like a sell-out for actually liking the new Scuba over the old Scuba. First of all, I'm 5'2", normally a size 4. I consider myself petite but also a little on the athletic side. The newer Scuba, despite being made shorter, actually falls almost exactly at the same place (around my hip bone) as the old Scuba does, due to the lightness of the material so it was able to sit better on my body. The new Scuba, also due to its thinner material, conform to my body better than the old one. The old one actually looks slouchy on me. I tried sizing down in the old Scuba, but it was too tight in the chest (and I'm only a 32B). But I would say the lighter material does feel cheaper, and most probably isn't as warm as the old Scuba. However, in terms of fit, I actually don't think the new Scuba sucks that bad. I do see how taller people (which I feel like the majority of Lulu's fans are on the taller side since their stuff are always made so LONG!)would hate the shortened length... just my 2 cents.

Grrr! It's so frustrating to find out that the item was actually sold out when you go to the product page in WMTM section... Why can't they fix that problem??

Yes pic from Lululemon Athletica Soho showroom in Hong Kong
To be honnest the colour pretty dull in real...nothing to die for

The Alberta Lake hoodie is one of LLL's more hideous recent designs. Too much going on in this jacket and an extremely poor fit with the re-design. More teal, the color of gangrene. Lots of negative customer feedback on this particular jacket per local store educators. Definitely not a big seller here. Only for the tasteless.
