There's too much going on to associate them with wunder unders. The extra seaming, the reflective hem, the colorblocking.

I tried these on today at the store in Auckland. Was disappointed when I bent down and saw the snowflakes on my undies through the fabric. Tried on both the 6 and 8 ( surprisingly, the 6 fit better, though I usually take an 8 in bottoms) and both were sheer. Bummed.

Hmm now I don't know if I should keep my RULU version or get these new ones.

Excited to try these!!!

Yay, I don't mind the colour blocking, especially since they are reversable, but I can not have a running pant without a pocket on the back that zips up. Once these hit stores I will make it mine. Has anyone tried these on? How is the sheer issue?

Lately LLL has seemed to be all over the board with their designs and declining quality. I switched over to LLL two years ago because I didn't want to run in floral like the other brands seemed to think I did, but I have to admit, my 100% Lulu workout gear is going to start getting a little thinned out. Those other company's are coming around, and Lulu is for lack of a better description shoving their heads up their asses lately.

I chose Lulu because lets face it, all the brands are the same price, but the other brands were not so hot looking. But Lulu is letting quality slip to save the bottom line, and frankly the other company's still have nice thick pants and they are now cheaper than Lulu... I use this brand to work out in, not for day wear fashion alone (I lovingly refer to my sister the poser who wears it for fashion as she doesn't work out, those poser bags they used were appropriate that day we went shopping there LOL), if it can no longer keep up I have to move on, no matter how hard it is because I am just such a damn loyal fool.

I want! Thanks for the update LLA! I have worn Lulu for many years but am new to being stalkerish of the clothing... How long does it take for product to be released in the US after it has hit Australia? Thanks!

OT: Would you recommend Astro vs. Groove pants? I've been buying Lulu for over a year now and haven't purchased either for some crazy reason! TIA!

I HOPE these are coming in size 12, and not just up to 10. I'm getting REALLY tired of that.

Any idea how these fit in comparison to the Inspire crops or Bright at Nights? Both of these are luxtreme and have a different fit than Wunder Unders. Also, wonder how these luxtreme Runders fit in comparison to the rulu Runders. My rulu Runders give me muffin top...but a size up falls down. What's a girl to do...

Meh....boring!!! :( Lulu fatigue is starting to settle in my bones! LOL

I'm not a designer but wouldn't that design only work for a certain body type aka tall? I think for some one like me, 5'3"... My knee would start mid thigh on a pant like that, lol! I prefer solid any way but still... That means less sales LLL.

@ Luluaddict (& everyone)
What are you thinking of your Runder Unders Herringbone? Any CT issues? Have you run in them? I bought them but haven't pulled the tags off (yet). Worried about the possible CT issue and the warmth for actual cold weather running. Thanks!! -Lisa

@ Lisa,
I bought the herringbone RUs despite the CT. I haven't worn them yet because its been too warm here. However I might get the opportunity to wear them tomorrow. I am thinking they will be plenty warm for my climate (southern U.S.), but I really don't think they're very flattering on me. I think the pattern isn't doing favors for my behind and there's the CT. On the flip side, the fabric is soooo comfy and I might be able to dual purpose these with boots and a tunic or mini skirt. I haven't cut the tags yet. I ordered the Star Runner tights (not yet arrived) and want to try this luxtreme version, too, but not sure these will be warm enough. I'm one of those odd runners whose legs get cold and upper body gets hot. I've been known to don thick pants with a tank for mild winter temps.
So, this is kind of a rambling post, but the point is I might keep the HB RUs despite the unattractive rear and front because I have some long tops that will cover and I don't feel like people can really study my booty or my CT if I'm actually running. The "legs" part of the pants are cute and they're so dang cozy. Wish LLL could give me everything I need all in 1 pant: cute, cozy, and enough pockets for a marathon. Pretty, pretty please Lulu???

I am officially not buying any LLL pants until they fix the gusset. Wore a pair of WU to my bf's place and the first thing he pointed out was my camel toe. Never hast his problem with the diamond gusset :(

@Lisa - i actually didn't have any problems with CT on these pants (nor on the regular herringbone wunder unders, though i get it on all the other WU with the triangle gusset). i love the fabric, super comfy, and think the rear is just as flattering as other lulu running pants i own. they're plenty warm for cool and cold temps as long as there is no wind - i'd be comfortable running in these in 30 or maybe even 20 degree weather if the air was still. however, it tends to get really windy here when it's cold (nyc) so i'm planning on layering over them and wearing them as a baselayer. i did purchase a pair of the TV runder unders to wear rock climbing now that it's gotten a bit cooler...i usually climb in temps as low as freezing...these will be perfect for the 40 and 50 degree fall/early winter days we're getting.

Yay!! I dont mind if these are sheer as they are for running and there will be no bending over. Comression that breathes = happy legs :) Lets hope these tights are a winner.

This is anon 10:08 again. I've posted this before I think, but where is the women's version of the men's Blaze Tight? These pants look just perfect, except ideally I'd like a mid to high rise and 4 waistband pockets and possibly some thigh pockets. I like storage, y'all. :)
Also, I agree with anon 10:42 PM from yesterday. If the fit and fabric don't resemble WUs, why call them Runders?

LLA... I was just watching some of lulus you-tubes and last year they did a sequence of videos of Eds in their scuba talking about their favorite features. One said the HOOD (which they changed!!) and another said HOW LONG THE TORSO IS (which they changed!!) Educator video prof that people liked the hood and length!!!!

Anonymous said...

Just saw a picture of the new yellow scuba and it really looks like ray to me. Just a thought, but I sometimes wonder with lulu bringing out "new" colors that look so close to past colors if they just save the material they didn't use and then bring it back next season with a different name! And maybe just a second dip in the dye to get the color a wee bit darker or so.... Lol.

I really dislike how heavy the Scuba Hoodie hood is. It's constantly pulling at my neck. I can't wear it fully zipped because it feels like its choking me and un zipped it pulls down my back making the front ride up and pulling whatever shirt I'm wearing up with it. Its uncomfortable and I find myself tugging down the front and readjusting the hood every 5 seconds. I just ordered the stretch. I don't see how a lighter hood and shorter length could be a bad change.

The Runder Under is a poor cousin to the Wunder Under. RU's have too much going on with all the seaming and much less versatile than WU's which can also be worn as leggings in cooler climates. When paying close to $100 a pair, versatility wins out, especially when the overall look is classy rather than flea market.

I watched those videos and thought the same thing!!!

I don't believe that for one minute its probable a lulu competetor who is behind it, business insider is a rag of disinfo- I've been buying and selling on ebay mostly lulu and have never had a negative experience w/ lulu stuff not once, the buyers and sellers are very professional and everyone is always happy w/ the ability to get what you want or sell what you don't want. Its truly free market- one of the last forums we have left! Be wise!

Does anyone know what brand the blue running shoes are in the Runder Under Plux pic? I've seen these in a few of the lululemon pics online but can't figure out what shoes they actually are?

Did anyone try the run make it rain jacket on?

The shoes in the Runder Under pic are the New Balance Minimum Zero.
