Burning Yellow Swiftly

Another photo from Australia. I believe this is a Swiftly Tank in Burning Yellow. Not sure if North America will get this since Swiftly tanks are considered a warm weather item even though, as one of you pointed out, gyms are the same temperature all year long. If it comes to us, I definitely want it.

that color is really nice. I think lulu does not do itself justice by having these items on both hemispheres year round. I mean people travel to warm countries during winter, I would love this for my winter sailing trip to the Caribbean. I went to my local store, and all they have is winter gear as well. You are right LLA gyms are warm all year round, so are hot yoga studios.

Love the summery flavor of that photo....the blue ocean and tan of the model's skin really make that yellow pop. I crave summery colors during the winter and continue to buy warmer-weather workout gear even when it's cold out.

Ooh, I could definitely see myself buying that color in a tank and a short sleeve.

Side note: are they ever going to make more WAFS print CRBs? I've been waiting since April for a good one...

I normally am not attracted to yellow at all, but I really like that shade--at least in that swiftly.
Totally agree, I wear tanks in the winter too. My gym keeps the temp pretty constant year round!

Ya and I wear my Lulu tanks (in all styles, CRB, No limits, power Y etc etc) all year round. Whether it is on my treadmill or to yoga or underneath a sweater....all year round...and I live in Edmonton. CRBs and swiftly are great for layering!

Finally a yellow I can wear. Another one for my wish list along with the LB Groovy Run Shorts and Ebb & Flow Crops.

agreed. as an Iowa lady I want my hoodies available in October and lighter items to layer under or for vacation, i'm actually ordering the spinerette shorts for my own caribbean trip:) i like to layer crops/shorts under the Lulu Pant IIs--funtional sweat pants for only $88--those were the days!!!

Is it an orange yellow or is it my computer?

I agree. My classes are warm. I don't want to wear merino wool when I'm working out. I love the Swiftly tanks. I want the Raspberry Glo.

and some of us live in the southern part of the US! I went into the store the other day, the educators were trying to sell me the winter running gear - it was 67 degrees outside. Too warm for rulu or long pants. I ended up walking out with the limitless CRB (yay!) and two other tanks to go with my wee limitless crops. No one was even looking at the scubas.

From the photo I like the color but I'd have to see it in person. I thought I wanted Currant colored items, until I saw that red in person; it was not at all appealing to me.

I have a feeling we'll be getting this. We did get the Swiftly tank in Tender Violet and Creamcicle pop on the Canadian website just a month or so ago.

OT - my store had the side angle pants on sale and tea lounge crops. The devotion SS were marked on the tag lower (they put a sticker over it) so it's not final sale, maybe for Holiday shopping so you can return it?

Plus the fact that it's the US site that also serves international guests! We here in no-winter countries have nothing if all LLL puts out this time of the year are cold-weather clothes. We have no use for them at all!

i can't wait for this tank, i've been wanting a swiftly tank but they keep selling out before I get the chance to order one. I will definitely be waking up at 230am to check for these!
Do they run true to size? I wear a 10 in scuba hoodies and strides (although they are always on the loose side, the strides) so should i get a 10? or an 8?

I've heard the Swiftly tanks run large, so best to size down.

I disagree, I have several swiftly tanks and I wear my regular size. I personally wouldn't size down. This yellow/orange looks appealing, but wouldn't look good on me. I'm fair and don't tan. However, I agree...tanks/shirts/shorts should be offered year round. I cannot wear long sleeves/pants to the gym-I'd overheat!

Yea I read to size down in the swiftly tanks as I wear 8 & 10s. Was told to do a 6 and was too small everywhere! If you have a large chest do the bigger size, I wouldn't size down. It also gets shorter in the body if u size down. And if you have a less than perfect tummy, you will see everything!! I ended up sending 2 swiftlys back, because I rad reviews to size down. I am a 38 D.

I don't size down either, same size in CRBS and Swiftly tanks and they fit great.

I think they changed the fit of the Swiftly tank not too long ago, didn't they? I remember reading that somewhere. And I remember trying on Swiftlies before and not liking them at all, and this year I bought four.

Swiftlys: I actually buy size 6 tanks and ss, but size 8 ls. I'm not sure why they fit me differently. I have one size 8 swiftly tank and I rarely wear it due to bagginess (it's a gray one from last spring). I wear my flash swiftly tank (size 6) all the time: fits perfectly. I have 2 ss swiftlys in size 6 that fit well: bruised berry and menthol. When I tried on the size 6 ls swiftly in Power Purple it felt smothering, and the size 8 fit great. I also have a size 8 clarity yellow ls that I love. For reference, my shoulders are average but I have thickish arms and wear a 34DD. Thankfully I'm blessed with a tiny waist and flat stomach to offset my ample hips and thighs.
Another swiftly thought: where are the 1/2 zips?!!? I bought one last spring but actually went up to a 10. Bad idea as it didn't ever fit/work like I wanted it to. So, I sold it, thinking that I could get a replacement in the proper size this fall, but no. (I don't want gray. I want something fun!) Instead they released these dumb turtle necks that allow for no venting after you warm up. I wonder if it was just to save on production costs that they dropped the zipper? I have no use for a running top like that, but I'm dying for a lightweight 1/2 zip.
Another thing (goodness this post is getting long), I HATE the color blocked swiftlys. I already own the gray swiftly arm warmers that I can pair with a ss if I want a two-tone look. I don't need Lulu to do it for me! Plus someone from this awesome blog once told me that they layer the ss over the ls swiftlys. How fun! But that would prob look silly with the two-toned ones. Lulu lost my $ on flare and raspberry glow with that design.

perfect thanks guys !
I will definitely not size down, as I'm 36DD, no need for it to get shorter !

I think they run true to lulu size. I wear a 4 in CRB and swiftlys but I wear a 6 in defines and a 4 in strides. Hope this helps.

Anon 6:26 a.m. here: I size up in my LS and 1/2 zips, too, I Like a little bit of extra room to put a tank/shirt if I want.

I also hate the two tone swiftlys. Yuck.

Anonymous said...

I also size up in Swiftly LS, but my regular size in Swiftly tanks and tees.

I agree with others.... Two toned swiftly are fug.

I actually in size 8 for all tanks. But for swiftly tanks , I size down to 6 and it's perfect on me
