FYI - Cross Stitch Luon Issues

Posted in one of my FB groups - the Cross Stitch luon develops threads that poke out which are, in reality, little holes. Maybe this woman got a bad batch but just wanted you all to know. (Thanks to Ms. K. for the photo.)

The Cross Stitch luon is being used in the new Skinny Wunder Unders, too.

I just bought these last night. After reading your post I was worried and ran to check mine and they are fine. So hopefully this and isolated incident =)

Wait, it's being used on the skinny Will pants? Well, that sucks :(

I would check them again after you wear them. I'm pretty sure the threads pop after being stressed by stretching the material.

Well that answers my question--to order or not to order. It is a cool fabric, but I'm not willing to risk it. I already have to deal with the fact that my $72 pants have loose threads that might unravel the seams at any time.

I was just looking at my cross stitch WUs again last night and noticed the white threads sticking up a little bit near the bottom of the leg. It almost looks like it was rubbed by something abrasive. I didn't notice any holes but this worries me.

I just bought them on Sunday and the tags are still on so these are likely going back. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for this info. I ordered the crops and will be sending them back. No sense in risking it on something so expensive. Too bad, because they are super cute.

Thanks, LLA, for the info. It helped me decide to not purchase them. I do love my Black herringbone WUC and was wanting another pair. Any advice on which ones I should get? These are the only WUC I own. Thanks.

I just ordered these crops. Hope it's an isolated incident, but I doubt it. I have a pair of Alberta Lake crops that I wore once and the seams are coming apart. $88 + tax for one wear. Not sure what to do, since they are sold out now and the seams are a unique stitch and hard to fix. The rising prices are really frustrating in light of the quality issues.

I also had a friend whose luxtreme crops came apart at the seams after a few wears. Sad!

I noticed them on a Lulu staff yesterday while in the store. They were as bad as the picture shown above.

Anyone had any issues with the piqué WU?

Sidenote: Marshalls in NorCal had wunder under-like pants in the super soft Rulu? Material that my Turn Around LS is made of. Even the black/grey stripe is similar. Diamond/oval gusset. Kyodan for 24.99 - snagged two pairs!! SOO soft and warm!!!

These are being pulled from the floor due to it being over-brushed...the fabric breaks and snags.
