A sharp-eyed reader spotted this new headband (head wrap?) on the Australian side of the website. I am a headband maniac but $24 is a bit much for me to spend on a headband. This looks pretty big and I doubt it will work for me so I'll stick to my new favorite, the Bangbuster.

Not sure if you knew LLA, but a showroom opened recently in rancho cucuamonga
Can't wait, glad it wasn't a seawheeze item!
I love how thick it is! It's much like the turband they had a little while ago!
loving this headband, maybe not the color though !
My gym sells Lulu and today they got WU Crop in the Love Red stripe pattern. They also had a new NLT it was blue with the WAFS blue print bra.
I agree with anon 6:57, I saw the blue NLT with the WAFS blue/yellow/white print bra. The Love Red stripe WU's are very sheer, just like the crb is in that color.
Omg I would definitely buy that NLT and I haven't bought anything from lulu in a LONG time! Who's with me??
Ditto on the limitless wee are from space NLT!
Also saw WU pants that are the Love Red slub denim-like. Not sheer
THat Limitless NLT is gorgeous and goes well with the Limitless blue shorts or WU (the NLT has a slightly different shade than WU.
I bought that headband in solid black at the lab in August. I think it was the same price but was called the urban turban. I love it!
What shirt is she wearing here?
:( Feeling really upset at the moment. We were meant to be going up to the city today, my boys were off to watch the new 007 film and I was going to hit Lulu, but the roads are really crappy (they were all just sheet ice and packed snow last night) with all of the storms we've been having. It's been snowing since Wednesday morning and I'm still waiting for my winter tyres to come in.
Oh well, next week my shopping list might be longer :)
Has anyone checked out the hoodies and jackets section? Everything is "special edition". The only things special on that page are the old favorites.
bad lulu. bad!
oh and i was looking to buy a black scuba hoodie and i couldnt help but notice the model wearing the dark teal color WU......camel toe and u can see a "M" shape on her booty - underwear? crazy!!!!!! they should just give those WU out for free. i can make some headbands :)
Hi.
Long-time lurker, first-time commenter. Love this blog! That said, I'm a long-time Lulu fan who is increasingly disgruntled by skyrocketing prices, plummeting quality, poor construction, and shady customer service interactions.
Not sure where to post this, so I decided to post it here. But, here's the deal.
I submitted a negative review of the scuba*stretch hoodie on November 8, 2012. Interestingly, the positive (i.e., 4-star and 5-star) reviews get approved quickly. Thus, if and/or when my review ever gets allowed to show on the website, it will be hidden on later pages. Said differently, I think Lulu's "feedback/rating" system is biased and shady -- which only reinforces my growing discontent with Lululemon's current business model.
Why so quick to approve positive reviews and so slow to approve negative reviews -- effectively shielding the website from realtime honesty and hiding my reviews on later pages?
Have any of you noticed this?
@ 1:01 PM anything is possible, but I don't think LLL is trying to withhold or delay negative reviews. You do receive a confirmation message that your review has been received and it may take up to 72 hours to appear. I've written both positive (many) and negative reviews, and I've made comments. Some of my reviews appear pretty quickly, some take time. It's a company, they have staff and probably staffing issues in handling every review or e-mail that comes in. Do they read every review? I'm told they do, but maybe there is some extra filter process that delays it if it's negative or too negative. They say they take customer feedback seriously, which of course is debatable.
I will say that I have always really handed it to LLL for publishing all reviews--so it seems--especially the very negative ones. Some customers are actually too dramatic/unprofessional, perhaps not even helpful in their actual review. Ultimately it's up to you to decide, even in light of negative reviews.
I wholeheartedly agree with you on quality, cost and design issues/problems. LLL is not what it used to be.
OT - they had a bunch of Currant Scubas on sale at the Logan Square store in DC the other day.
Now that they are on hiatus, what are the chances that the original Scubas and Defines will go on sale?
FYI -- I heard back about Lulu's censoring my negative review of the scuba*stretch. Apparently, they didn't think I was specific enough in my criticism.
That said, I notice that a number of negative reviews for the scuba*stretch that were posted last week and had many helpful votes have now been removed.
So, while I would like to share your opinion that Lulu is honest and does bias their ratings, I am now entirely unconvinced. Just my opinion. But, now not only do they have rapidly declining product quality and drastically climbing prices, they're silencing formerly loyal, lulu-loving customers.
Just my opinion. Sad.
it must be hard for them to choose some of the comments, especially the negative ones, some people write the weirdest comments about some of the products. Like the person who ironed her 105F tank (duh) it is synthetic.
People who also don't test the different sizes, in lulu crops sometimes I am 4 others 6, it happens with other manufacturers as well.
I also think sometimes the negative commenters are angry and bitter and should wait before putting in their 2 cents.
@anon 8:04 - while i agree that sometimes the "angry bitter" reviews are unhelpful in terms of their content (but there are also helpful ones, too), i'm not sure i see why someone who is "angry and bitter" should "wait before putting in their 2 cents." there's a REASON they're angry and bitter! they wouldn't be angry and bitter at lulu unless there was something wrong! whether that be bad customer service, cheapening products, etc. even though an angry, bitter review might not provide the best knowledge about, say, the fit of an item - it still tells you a lot...it tells you about what it's like to deal with lulu in general. and the fact that there are SO MANY angry, bitter reviews...not just one or two, but MASSES of them..REALLY tells you something about lulu
My review was not angry or bitter. The GEC response to my question as to why it was not approved was that it was too general because I used 1/2 of the review to comment that the transition from scuba to scuba*stretch marked the end of my lulu love and loyalty as it fits an overall pattern of corner-cutting and quality decline. They felt that my review was too general and therefore not helpful. So, overall, it just leaves me truly sad because I now have no faith that lulu isn't censoring the reviews and only letting a fraction of the truly negative reviews through.
