finally, the vest C. Day was wearing comes out...
So excited for this!! I wonder what other colours it will come in? I'd love to have it in Raspberry Glow or Tender Violet!
Is this one really 800 fill power?
I love the look of this vest but I really wish Lulu would consider making a poly-fill insulated vest. It would make so much more sense for sweaty/humid uses.
I like the look of this! I hope we see it next upload and the price isn't outrageous. I like the blue but wonder what other colors it will come in?
I think vests are in the past... they were the HUGE rage like 10 + years ago. I remember ALL MY FRIENDS owning them and then going shopping in the malls, everyone walking around, basically had one on. As fast, as they came, they were gone and then I see them released again, every year. I travel all over the place and I can honestly say, don't see many people wearing them. If I do, they are 65 and older. LOL
OT... I have the herringbone runder unders that I love. But I want the herringbone WUC too. Do I need the herringbone WUC? My thought is that I could wear the WUC year round. Help!
as a runner, this vest is a lot more interesting to me than the jacket. the jacket would just be too warm - i can't imagine a situation where i would be running in a full on down jacket (actually, i can..it would involve running in -20 temps at about 12,000 ft above sea level, where there is less oxygen and you get cold a lot easier. and since i'm not planning on trail running through the high sierra in the dead of winter....). there might be super bitter days where i'd layer a down vest over a fleece midlayer...and vests vent much more easily if you start to overheat. hope this comes in some pretty colors! not so into LB, LR, or CY
off topic.
i went to the santa monica and brentwood stores yesterday and they both had a lot of running crops(track time and fast and free) on sale.
Brentwood had the spinnerette shorts on markdown to $49 and a couple of split pea turbo tanks to $34.
I also saw the post savasana bag which is oh so simple, but i suppose it would be sufficient for a lot of people.
It looks nice, I already have a Marmot vest that is warm and cozy and looks good. not in that color though. I am kinda on the fence about this blue, finally saw it in person at the union square NYC store, also the love red, which is more vermillion than anything else. I love that color.
M
Does it come in any other colors?
So they take out the stretchy side panels from the Scubas, and put a type of stretchy side panels in their down items? Go figure....
This I would buy
Why the off-centered zipper? Super-bummed because I really thought I'd pick this up. But off-centered zipper is a deal-killer. Grr.
love it
Looks cute and functional. Probably is $198 or so. Again, I live in southern Cali and have no need whatsoever for down anything.
I wish the whole PN was posted!
i agree about puffer vests being more function than fashion. i never got the whole my body is cold but my arms aren't thing. not excited about this one. i did work "in the field" today and wore a scuba with my jeans and workboots. i so miss the scubas!!! i just CAN'T with the new unfinished hood--so tacky looking to me. my scuba was warm, didn't bag or sag when i put tools in my pockets, and i didn't flash any of the guys when i climbed/bent. sigh....
OT We complain about price increases for Lululemon but the prices I am seeing on Ebay are nuts! People are buying this stuff way over the cost when Lulu first listed it (a lot is used), no wonder Lulu is increasing the price! Sorry, had to get that out...
I ordered the crops as I LOVE my rounder unders so much I've stopped wearing them but for running. The crops I will wear boots in the winter, and as long into spring as I can.
Was just in my local store and saw the Under crop - organic cotton crop to wear purely as a base layer under ski pants or jeans but not for working out in due to sheerness. Saw it in black swan and alberta lake for $48.
I like the What the Fluff Pullover and the vest. I won't pay a crazy amount of $ for either, which I totally expect them to be exorbitant. I like the asymmetrical zipper and the collar on the vest. I will pass on the vest though. I'd prefer the pullover. Would definitely use the pullover for running in winter (harcore).
LOL under crop- they probably just retagged the super sheer organic WU crops, or used the exact same fabric.
Sorry, but the asymmetrical stuff reminds me of a straightjacket. In this case, a straightjacket without the arms.
Weekly notification from one of the stores in Toronto is showing this vest comes in 3 colors: Black, Limitless Blue, and Clarity Yellow. Fluff Pullover comes in Black, Polar Cream, Clarity Yellow.
Good quality fluff vest with awesome colors! this winter find your desired choice of microfleece vest in awesome colors and styles!
I picked up this vest today.. in limitless blue which reverses to polar cream. I think it was $156 or so. I plan to wear it running and really like the big reflective features front & back.
