Rumors of Upcoming Items

I am reading that a Cool Racerback will be coming in the Raspberry Glo Slope Stripe print. There is also a Daily Yoga Jacket coming in Raspberry Glo, in the solid version, I think. I think people might be pinked-out since the website still has a full size run in this color. My store also had a ton of RG CRBs yesterday. (Thanks to Ms. K. for the scoop.)

The Forme Jacket on a curvy lady - she is rocking it but I'm sure she'd rock a burlap sack. I know color blocking is a fashion trend now but it seems to be going over like a lead balloon as far as the lululemon implementation of it in this release based on the comments I read.

Polar Cream / Silver Slate Cool Racerback.

Anyone heard if the Turn Around LS will make a comeback this year? I know Ivivva has a version out right now. It finally got cold enough here for me to wear mine yesterday and I was reminded how much I like it. It's such a great piece and sold like hotcakes. I really hope it makes a curtain call.

I wouldn't be surprised if people are avoiding Raspberry Glo because of all bleeding problems from Paris Pink and Flash earlier in the year. I still love and buy neons - just not from Lulu anymore.

I completely agree! Im wearing my plum ls one right now and wore the persian purple ss one yesterday. Fabulous colors, super soft, flattering cut, truely reversible and reflective. I would totally buy again if the quality (and price) were comparable to last year. Would be lovely in alberta lake or limitless blue.

Oh, sorry i was referring to the Turn Around LS :)

Wearing this exact Turn Around right this minute! Alberta Lake, Limitless version? I'm all over it!

I'm so happy to have so much "vintage" Lulu, and kicking myself for selling a handful of my old Scubas! Darn!

I was at my store yesterday, and all the CRBs were picked over except the Raspberry Glo. They had several in each size. I agree--I think we're getting pinked out. I actually would be interested in the All Sport in Raspberry Glo, but after seeing the review of the RG no show socks, I don't dare get something that may bleed again.

Oh man, I sure hope a turn around ls makes a curtain call!!!

Someone inquired about the possibility of the Turn Around Long Sleeve making a comeback and the response was annoyingly evasive as usual. I would love for it to make a comeback but fear that Lulu would ruin a good thing with more of the dreadful color blocking.

The curvy Hal in the crb looks fantastic!!

@ Laura - I wore my Raspberry Glo CRB to the gym yesterday for a 3.5 mi run on the treadmill. I rubbed my white towel on the sweaty areas under my armpit and did not have any pink rub off, FWIW.

Forme Jacket is best described as a poor knockoff of the Define. Tried one on and very disappointed. The material is not as good quality as the regular Define but at $108 is the price of the brushed Define. The styling is boxier and not as shaped, but the worst feature is that the sleeves are SUPER long, disproportionately long (for someone who never has sleeve length issues), there are no cuffins, and the thumbholes aren't made well. This store also had some Defines, and what a difference.

The SS plum turn around was one of the very first lulu pieces I ever purchased. It's still my favorite shirt to date! I bought the Cabin LS II at the same time, and this fall realized I should have gotten the turn around LS instead. I sold my Cabin LS and purchased a LS turn around from a FB group and I'm so happy I did! OMG it sooooo soft and comfortable! If I could afford it, I'd go looking for more turn arounds!

@ luluaddict, that's for the info! I will give the Raspberry Glo bra a shot.

Sad news on washing my raspberry glow for the first time. It's bleeding and has turned an experimental wash cloth washed in the same load pink. Perhaps not as bad as earlier bleeders this year if it's not doing it on first touch? I'm going to do the hot/cold thing to try to set the colour, I really like it.

For some reason, the forme jacket has cured my Lulu addiction. A define jacket was my very first Lulu purchase, and I recall being impressed by all the functional details and the impeccable fit. After having watched Lulu mess with the Luon fabric I loved and with core item designs, I am cured. Good news is that I finally have money to buy regular clothes. I will be stopping by LLA blog now and then to see what's going on, but Lulu has lost the special place in my heart. I wish I had bought more a year or two ago.

I'm a tad sad they are releasing the striped raspberry glo as I will love it (but can't afford it). I ordered the raspberry glo online with the idea I might return it but my dogs decided I should keep it with thier muddy paws! I also have the pow pink CRB (as I missed the Paris pink) and I think they both have a place. The pow is a heavier blend (yoga, fat feeling days) and the raspberry is light (running, layering for work).

That's awesome! Thank you.

I bought my first turn around LS on a facebook group too, just this week, and can't wait to get it. Two of my friends have them and they rave about them.

Love the Turn Around LS from last year. Hope it comes back!

Quick question for you - I'm considering purchasing a black original Scuba Hoodie online, but live abroad, so returns aren't really possible. I'm normally a 10 in Lulu, would you recommend sizing up or going for my normal size?

I love my raspberry glo CRB, haven't had any bleeding issues yet! I will definitely get the slope pattern too if it's uploaded, I bought both the solid flare and the striped one and am actually really happy I did as I get a lot of use out of them. I don't get the difference between a tonka stripe and a slope stripe though??

For someone who has a horrible time finding sweaters, jackets, long sleeved shirts that have long enough arms I'm looking forward to trying on the forme jacket.... if it comes in a solid colour cause the colour blocking is awful.

Heard from a staffer no Turn Around LS in the Holiday Vision this year... But instead other amazing winter run tops!

I did not have a problem with raspberry glo either. I got the inspire II crops and the first wash before wearing it bled a little both the black and the pink, but I haven't had any bleeding trouble since.
I sweat a lot and have done the rub test and had no problems. I guess it depends on the fabric.
I think one should wash all new items prior to wearing them especially if you are going to sweat in them.

I'm not "pinked out" as much as "pink leery" with RG. Bummer if that's true about no Turn Arounds this year. I wore my LS plum one the other day too. Definitely one of their "A" tops. They should pin that up in their design studio for inspiration and guidance when they start with the crap they're coming up with now. Seriously it has it all: hot design, quality material, and a great fit. Oh well. Back to 2012. I am relating to anon 12:03AM completely. Suddenly I'm paying attention to other clothing brands again, and it does seem like the Forme jacket/Define retirement was the final straw. I'm sure it was cumulative though!

Was at the store yesterday and tried the new Scuba and the Forme. As a long time lulu hoarder I was very disappointed. I rarely meet a Scuba I don't love and have to drag myself away from but it was super easy this time. cheap, cheap, cheap. The Forme jacket was equally if not more cheap, cheap, cheap. Of course not in price but quality. It's been hard, even with bleeding issue, etc. to make me not love lulu gear but they are making it easy. Almost begging for the breaking the point...just how far can they go before shoppers give up.I can say I passed up on 2 jackets and one pullover easy. Past years I would have bought all three. One thing they seem to be doing well with are bottoms. Tons of quality bottoms out but nothing I loved.

Hmmmm. Not sure whether to return the RG CRB I ordered if the slope stripe comes out. The slope stripe might be a little more subdued, which might be a good thing. Probably not worth the trouble though. I did order that RG slope stripe headband though. Looking forward to that coming. And um, why can't I look as fabulous as that blonde. Jealous! LOL

@ anon 1:08 pm - Yeah, the cheap pedestrian look of the Forme jacket is killing my lulu-love a bit. That being said, I still find plenty to buy - CRBs, Swiftly tanks and LS, run crops. I could use one more Ta Ta Tamer - I always seem to be taking them off the drying rack - and am just waiting for the right color scheme to pop up. I'm in the market for another Energy bra if and when they show up. It's not like I couldn't do with spending less on lulu. Now that I am running more than anything my spending has been geared towards run stuff. I wouldn't mind one more pair of Run For Your Life crops but I would like another wee space print style.

I was able to sneak a peek at some new product sheets at my local store before the ed flipped them over. Saw a blue wafs tank, and some strange wrap/jacket with a big collar that reminded me of a blanet wrap from last year but more fitted. Looked pretty interesting but I did not get a good look.
Ran in my IQ pants this morning in temp under 40 and they werent very warm until a mile or two in but otherwise I loved them - the pockets are awesome and I'm glad I went back to my true size! Also wore the blue headband/ear warmer - love those things! I think I coukd have used an insulated skirt today!

If you want a nice, more fitted scuba... Go with your regular size. If you want a little more space for movement, go a size up (this applies to the original scuba only). My original scubas that are my regular size are SNUG and restrict my movement slightly, however i look a little slimmer in these. There isnt a huge difference between sizes. If you're ordering the STRETCH, GO UP A SIZE. I wear 6s in almost everything Lulu (sometimes I get an 8 in tanks if the ladies are falling out a bit). I own original scuba in both 6s and 8s. Again, I wear the 6s for going out, and I wear the 8s for a more comfy, loungey feel.

Pretty sure I saw tata tamer in spry blue at fashion island on Thursday.. I felt like I hadn't seen that before?

I'm so sad that I didn't buy any turn around ls's last year...had I known that Lulu would take such a turn for the worse this year, I would have hoarded those and several define jackets. As it is, I think aside from the occasional CRB, pair of wunder unders or swiftly tops, my Lulu addiction is over.
