Upload!

So tempted by this.

Miracle Jacket

Off the Mat is back.

Solid Forme Jacket in Beaming Blue.

Silver Luon is back - yay!
Fug

Merino Fireplace Jersey

Rumors were wrong, there is an upload tonight!

I really wish the Fireplace Jersey was made of Vitasea instead of merino. I felt the Pitter Patter pullover today and the wool is so scratchy.

I am super tempted by the Laceoflage Scuba but I should know better than to get a white jacket. I can never keep them clean.

Lots of people are happy to see the Off the Mat jacket comeback. It's very sharp on. It goes up to a 12 this year, which is good.

The Miracle Jacket is interesting but not $298 worth. Drop the price $150 and I might be interested.

I haven't ordered anything yet but am thinking of a Beaming Blue Bangbuster. What did you all order?

Is this for cyber monday means no Tuesday upload?

Yay! Glad you stayed up!

I always check here first. My goodness, there is a LOT of new stuff and some of those new colours are just lovely.

The merino, I'd prefer to touch in store to see if it's buttery soft or not.

LuluAddict said...

@ runrgurl - I wouldn't bet on that. This is the big holiday shopping season. I bet there will be new things on Tuesday, too.

Ah- did anyone else notice the merino tops are fabric(s): Merino Wool Jersey. Which might say that it won't be 100% merino.

And... the baby pink vinyasa is luon light. Darn you luon light!

Got the beanie. Yes, it's an outrageously priced beanie, but I couldn't resist. I love love love this blue! The St. Moritz jacket is adorable as well. Here's hoping for some nice running gear in an upload later this week.

I saw that new bag in person at the store yesterday. It is NICE.

Thanks!!

Lol! I spit water out reading "fug" under the new daily yoga jacket. So true. When I first saw it I thought clowns.

The merino wool fireplace jersey seems like it would be made of a finer wool than the pitter patter. I'll wait until it hits my local store to check it out.

I got the off the mat jacket in black swan. I don't know if I'll keep it for that price but I'm a sucker for that color. I wanted the chalet hat but I'm not risking final sale.

What on earth were they thinking with that new daily yoga jacket print. Looks like something out of the circus. Loving all the beaming blue though especially in the Laceoflage, will need to take a trip to my local lulu tomorrow

Nothing grabbed me tonight - which is kind of nice for a change actually.

By the way, I somewhat new to Lulu - what's special about the Silver Luon wunder unders?

Loving the Bon Bon color of the scuba stretch. I hope they make other thigs in that color

$78 for Chalet leg warmers ! I picked up a few awesome pairs of leg warmers at Nordstrom for $16 a pair.

I had the off the mat jacket from last year and its Very tight. I A lot of zippers to mess with actually, BEWARE. I sold mine, new with tags for what I paid and it took over 2 months to sell online. In fact, while I was selling mine...2 other people were selling theres.
I see a few things I like, but won't be paying $300 for myself this close to Christmas! Forget it!!! Lulu is NOT considered high end like Louis Vuitton, Burberry quality to be charging $300 for a simple coat! If you want a gorgeous hat, I personally wouldnt buy Lulu...I saw a couple MUCH NICER hats and scarves from Uggs! Im sorry, but prices from Lulu lately are insane and crazy, especially with all the quality problems! A HUGE pass for me! Too late in the season Lulu, Ive already moved on!

I missed out on the last upload of leg warmers. I was so devistated!! LOL...
In the time it took Lulu to come out with more, I FOUND gogeous "Preloved" 3 toned, knitted Legwarmers at some Roots stores across BC and Toronto. They are one of a kind, unique and GORGEOUS and only, $49!!! I have 2 pairs and can tell you...from looking at Lulus pics of their leg warmers, that Roots makes a nicer one for much cheaper! FYI....everyone!! :)

Sadly, week 4 of nothing that interests me, or is grossly overpriced...I did succumb to the 20% off entire purchase Athleta Sale that started yesterday into today and dropped over $450. Code "CYBER" in checkout

I totally thought Circus too!!!

I got the Off the Mat jacket in black to try (thank goodness for the holiday return policy) the black and white Vinyasa scarf and the gray and blue knit hat.

I asked for the neck warmer in gray and the st. mortiz jersey top in beaming blue from Santa...

Anonymous said...

I like the Fireplace Jersey, St Moritz Jersey, Apres Sickie, and the Chalet Beanie. I'm not going to pay any of those full prices. I'll wait for markdown (though I might cave on the Beanie which is so ridiculous). Whether they make it to markdown or not, I will wait. Beaming blue is really appealing! I also like the Caspian Blue Scuba Stretch, even though am not a fan of the stretch version.

Off the Mat Jacket looks like a nice idea, but what's with the gaping neckline? Can you convert that so it's snug and warm to the neck? Does not seem so. Reviews also speak to this major flaw. A scarf would look dumb...really, having to wear a scarf with all that material up there?

Anneverzel said...

I got the wunderunders in the crosstitch pattern I live three hours from the closest store so I was waiting for these to show up online since i seen them on here:)
YAY!!!

That DY jacket in the blue and blue stripe is just hideous! Who actually gives the ok on something like that? I woke up at 3am eastern and half asleep looked at the upload on my phone, thought maybe I imagined that DY and it was a nightmare when I woke up....but no, it's a $128 plus tax reality!!!

Weirdness with the CDN side of the website. When I log in, it showed the US flag up top, but when I hovered over it, it said "Canada". So I went in and changed it, but then as soon as I looked at a page, it changed back.

Weirdness.

I need to replace my OmGirl black pants that went see through on me. I reall love the look of the slim Will pant, but hate so much highrise anything! Can anyone tell me if the foldover waist really works? The I can justify a $98 pant right before Tuesday upload and Christmas!

Anonymous said...

The wunder under pant *Silver says it has a diamond gusset in the description.... do you think it really does or is it another typo that they didn't fix?

**Also, I'm wondering if the wunder under pant *silver would be a good pant for running? Does anyone know? The description says it's for yoga. Thanks!

NEW LONG SLEEVE DEVOTION SNEAK PEEK! In the pink savasna bag the girl is wearing a clarity yellow and oatmeal long sleeve!

Did anyone else find the the black Swan is sooooo sheer? Love the color...... Probably going back! I ordered a second one just to see if it was a LEMON! Hehe

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 6:48 am - good question. They are supposed to be going back to the diamond gusset but you can't trust the descriptions. I'll try to remember to look the next time I go to the store.

I've run in Wunder Under crops before. The nice thing about the previous silver luons is that the material is a bit thicker - more coverage/support - without giving up breathability. I really like the one tank I have in the material. However, who knows if they changed the material this time around. The silver does work to contain stink. You can reuse clothes for a few workouts. It won't smell fresh but it won't smell like BO. Silver comes in really handy on travel. My husband and I found that out when we traveled up to Vancouver for the Sea Wheeze. He was training for an October marathon so did a LOT of running on vacation and his silver tops were awesome.

The thing you miss when you don't buy specific running bottoms are the pockets. I like to put my phone in the back zipper pocket and shot blox in the waist pockets.

I got the beaming blue bangbuster, couldn't pass it up. Especially when I seem to do spinning everyday at the gym now, it's soaks up all the sweat!

Anonymous said...

Meh to everything. I really like the cocoa pique wunder unders actually, but someone commented that it looked like an 80's couch and that stuck with me (plus i'll take any excuse to talk myself out of items these days, i'm trying to only buy items i really love).

nice to see the return of bon bon, but i assume that (as with surge) it's a one-time only thing they're doing for the scuba stretch. Too bad, if they were regular scuba's i'd have bought one in bon bon, WAFS clarity, and limitless blue. Oh well, more money saved for me!

Patiently waiting for the SS and LS swiftly in beaming blue, that's the only item I really really want right now!

LuluAddict said...

@ Sammi - I agree about the Bangbuster being great to soak up sweat. It's my favorite to wear for runs at the gym.

Anonymous said...

OT question- does anyone know when they stopped putting size dots on the inner hem of the crb? I just bought one on ebay and the seller is trying to pass it off as newer. I have been buying lulu for 2 years and have never seen a size dot before.

Anonymous said...

I'm embracing the scuba change as a sign that I do not need to purchase any more scubas. Except for the lilac regular scuba I found at my local gym from last year. The change to scuba stretch will save me $$.

Mrs.Moody said...

Is the scuba in bon bon like flash???

Anonymous said...

I really wish they have the beaming blue power Y in regular luon :( I hate the new Power Y and it looks like most people do too. Why won't they switch back to the old style? I don't get it!

luluFemom said...

That poor girl wearing the Daily Yoga jacket! She's smiling gamely, but whoever dreamed lulu could take a gorgeous shade like Beaming Blue and turn it into clown clothes? Nothing in this upload made me clamor to order...almost everything is a "wait for markdown" for me. I tried on some other brands this weekend, hoping something would click, but they're all missing what lulu used to have - those details in fit and flare that set it apart. Looking at the picture of the clownish DY is the perfect example: it's baggy and shapeless and lacks the contours that undoubtedly cost more $$$ to make, but also made it worthy of the higher price tags. This lot, not so much. I hope you're right about the grooves, LLA - if they've returned to the original fabric, it would make sense time wise, as it takes about a year to implement changes in clothing lines (from design to production) - even on a non-seasonal model like the one lulu uses.

Nothing for me... kind of getting bored with teal, then gray-blue, then blue... I guess I'm waiting for some pretty Spring colors!

HPSauce said...

So I've wanted a pair of pants with silverescent for a while now for snowboarding, but I don't want black... And I really have my eye in the ice Queen pants in te blue for the added bit of warmth... I'm not familiar with Luxtreme.. Can anyone tell me if it tends to stink easily? Also, do they tend to release the silver Luon pants in anything other than black?
TIA

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me yet, but I am thinking I may get the Skinny Will pants in beaming. I am wearing my other Will pants in indigo right this very moment, and it looks like the bottom of these might be a lot looser than the legging fit of the indigos? Which I am not sure I would like.

OT -- I have fallen in love with the two toasty techs that I have, and am basically living in them. Do you guys think there will be any more colors released in these? I cant stop thinking how lovely it would be in limitless or beaming blue!

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know how beaming blue compares to porcelaine?

Anonymous said...

I am so glad I got my caspian Scuba a few months ago when it was made in the old style!

Anonymous said...

Not bad, but I'm waiting to see if their adult ballet/dance line reappears. Any word about this?

macfrannie said...

Thanks for the fit comment on the Off the Mat jacket @Anon 3:39 AM. I just went and ordered the next larger size as well. I'll report back what I find when they both arrive some time next week. Not sure if I'll keep either one.

Anonymous said...

Nothing, although the Off the Mat was a little tempting. I'm still really ticked off about the Scuba stretch. I would have bought ALL the new colors if they were the old Scuba. :pouts:

Anonymous said...

OT Wonder what the average weight/size is of the average Lulu shopper. Many of these items would not look flattering on a bigger gal...

Anonymous said...

Had to do a double take. Solid Forme Jacket in Beaming Blue looks exactly like one that I got from Gap last year, colour, shape, length. Gap one even has thumbhole cuffs. Sure Forme is LLL quality (haha debatable these days!) but I don't need it. The Gap one was $30 including tax.

I agree with you on wishing that the Fireplace henley was Vitasea. And I'd also like it if it was a wee bit longer and had a straight hemline. I've been waiting (rather impatiently) for a long-sleeved henley to come out since that first commuter line was released all those months ago. I loved the look of those shirts from the boobs up...didn't much appreciate the tenting effect from the boobs down. Throw some buttons on a Cabin LS or an Every Yogi and I will buy it in every color. Promise!

BTW, had a great conversation with Laurel from the GEC about my Clarity Yellow Vinyasa scarf...she processed a return for me despite me being past the regular return policy deadline...mostly because I made the argument that I placed the order for it when it was still labeled as Rulu, and not Luon Light. To be honest, I don't mind the color (although it was rather highlighterish...and the color of the ribbon does not in any way, shape, or form match the fabric of the scarf), and it was kind of soft and silky, but it just doesn't hold a candle to my Rulu Vinyasas. So back it goes.

i was really wanting a pair of leg warmers -I really liked the ones lulu loaded today but my eyes bugged out at the 78$ price tag. That is just ridiculous price gouging. What a bummer!
-Interested in runder unders! Does anyone have any first hand opinions on these pants?
Getting the neck warmer for sure though lol

sophia said...

@anon 1:09 - i would love more bon bon, too, but i wouldn't count on it. last (janurary/february-ish) lulu released a bon bon scuba, too, but nothing else in this color. SO GLAD i bought that bon bon scuba (i was really on the fence about it at the time, as i had just bought another scuba and was having trouble justifying another $108 sweatshirt) because i LOVE it (and i HATE the scuba stretch)

Things I love but can not really afford in late November:

- skinny will pants: I love high rise (worn under a top) and looks like it can be easily hemmed... and how pretty are those?!

- wunder unders: textured. leggings that are matte (which I find is something wunder unders often fail at, even folded) are my favourite winter tights under dresses

- Apres Sickie scarf. This looks so comfy and warm and would be perfect under my wool coat during the winter. But $148? Ha! No way. I'm considering having the scarf visit so I can see how it was put together and then crochet my own.

TMO said...

Will they come out with a beaming blue CRB? Haven't bought anything in a few months, but I really like the beaming blue color.

Anonymous said...

I ordered nothing because LLL in their infinite wisdom have decided since I'm in the UK I can no longer order form the US website...so now I have extortionate prices and no choice..nice one LLL.

If I can get a hold of one I might get the merino fireplace jersey, I have a couple of their merino running jerseys from a couple of years back and they are very smooth and silky, but I'm prettied p***ed of with them at the moment so don't know why I should spend my money with them.

Sandra said...

I want the chevron vinyasa so bad but is it really rulu??? Last time I ordered he ras glo it was luon light so I don't trust the descriptions now...

Ok so do we know if this years version of off the mat is snug? I'm so tempted, but between zipper stories and hassle on and off stories, I'm leery.
Going for the bang buster, wu crops is clarity, and some socks.
Really wanting the turtle neck, but wool and I never get along, so I'll wait for reviews.

Hi All! I have an update on a return I talked with you guys about. I bought the Luxtreme crops (the ones with the lulu laser seam technology and the curvy swoops from the calf up the bum), and they lost all compression during my run. I think I had a bad batch of Luxtreme fabric. Anyway, I travel weekly for work, so I brought them with me to Salt Lake City today and took them to the Trolley Square store. They took them back, no problem. They damaged them out and gave me a store credit. I was pretty pleased-- I really expected to have to insist. I think the customer service might be getting better...or perhaps the educators are now just used to all the defective product that they don't even ask questions. It was that easy. So thank you all for encouraging me to return them.
Then in not-so-great news, I couldn't find one thing to buy. I would like some new WUC, but they all had the triangle gusset. Some of the WU had the old diamond, so I tried them on. You could totally see the tag and my undies through the fabric, so the Luon at that store is still sheer. Ugh. The ed in the fitting room area asked me why I didn't take anything with me, and when I told her, she said I should go up a size. I said that I've been the same size for 5 years, and that it's the fabric, not me. She looked at me in a very dubious fashion, but I find it hard to believe that she's never heard that before. *sigh*
They didn't have any of last night's upload in store yet, and limited sizes on the CRB in recent colors.

Anonymous said...

I ordered the piqué WU and still waiting for my Limitless Blue CRB and LB stripe devotion tee order. I don't care if they look like a sofa, long underwear, etc. I loooove piqué anything it is just yummy. I have piqué Will pants and love them, do stretchy and soft. Does anybody know how the LB CRB feels and fits??? Waiting for a Beaming blue one, maybe tomorrows upload:) the Off the Mat reminds me of my Fast Forward jacket from a few years ago, lots of fabric up top but once you get it in place super cute. I bought a pair of Kyodan "Wunder Under" ish pants at Marshalls today $24.99 they feel so soft and are gray and black micro stripe. I saw them on EBay and someone managed to sell a pair for $85 + shipping.... Nuts!

Anonymous said...

I have the Piqué Will pants and love them. I fold them over and the drawstring kinda of tucks back through so they don't hang down if that makes any sense:) They are super comfy and like them in addition to my Wunder Unders.

Anonymous said...

Also, I tried on the Daily Yoga Jacket in the Polar Cream color (I wanted to check on sizing b/c I love the black/herringbone online), and the fit didn't work well for me.
I am 5'3", size 4 in Lulu. I'm very muscular but trim- 25" waist and 35" hips.
It was snug (but not too bad) on my biceps and across my shoulders. It didn't pull, but it was snug. The body was boxy and baggy, and the hip band fit just like the old In Stride. I prefered the In Stride. Somehow I feel like it fit a little trimmer through the waist. I didn't love the fit, so even though I needed to spend $$ for an exchange, I left empty-handed. Oh- the new WU pants had the diamond gusset, but the Luon still sucked. :/
Just a little fit/fabric update. :)

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the DYJ with the striped sleeves...it reminds me of a barbershop quartet outfit, just need the bowtie...is Lulu going to start making bowties? Yeeeeeeesh!

@ 1:44 PM, the Limitless Blue CRB required me to size up. Have many CRB's and am always a 2, for the first time sized up. It was very tight around the chest and even the straps. I'm glad I tried it on. Btw I'm small/light support. It's more poly, not very soft. I do like it though and am keeping it. Have already washed it to wear soon.

Anonymous said...

Also, Im NGO a fan of H & M in Canada but I will report I got lovely knitted leg warmers for under $20!!! Made in Portugal! Imagine that! :) Someone asked sizing... Well I just lost 25 lbs, so Im 5'6, 124 lbs. My goal weight is 120, so working on it! :)

Diana said...

Still waiting for the Ebb & Flows.....sigh.

Anonymous said...

Oh and I forgot to add....you have to have pretty slender (skinny) arms for the "off the Matt" jacket. I have small arms And I found it somewhat snug. I don't know if sizing up would help....I never can size up in Lulu coats, because then the arms get too long and Im slender...5'6! What drove me nuts, was all the zipping you have to do and then once on, I was constantly pulling it down. (Even walking around, it rode up on me!) It's a very soft coat, if you can overlook all the small issues--I couldn't, at that price!

Anonymous said...

Got the 3 times a lady coat today in store, it is actually cute as two seperate coats. $200 for a long down AND a rain coat is good. I will never wear them together though, they are not cute zipped together.

Anonymous said...

I got the LB crb at my gym today- I found it snug but not enough to size up. They always loosen up when I wear them anyway. I like the grey and black striped PY, but they seem to fit weird on me lately, so I passed.

Anonymous said...

Will pants are my fav. I just ordered my 3rd pair this morning. Funny that the "skinny" ones have looser ankles, but whatev. The foldover totally rocks.

Anonymous said...

Anyone know if the Merino Fireplace Jersey fits TTS? I'm a 6 in a run swiftly tech long sleeve but I size down to a 4 for the in strides.... wondering which size to order. I wish Luluemon would tell you height/weight of model + what size they're wearing.

I got the vinyasa scarf in black chevron print. I bought 2 of them for gifting. That's it. I went to my store today to pick up a long overdue hemming of my Alberta Lake split set pants. I bought another water bottle, gloves and a post headstand head hugger headband in pink and black swan. I returned my love red WUC and that tank with a really high neckline it choked me. Nothing interested me. Of course it was 80 degrees here so I was not even looking at the jackets. I saw the daily yoga jacket (?) and I had to size down to a 2. It was nice but not that nice that I'd buy it. I had sent 2 more split set pants to get hemmed. I should be good for a while. I might get excited for gratitude wraps but nothing much anymore. I'm glad I don't have to buy thick winter stuff coz they are pricey. Yikes.

Pink Peony 4 said...

Flip but no flop tank is what I returned. The neckline was so high it literally was leaving a mark on my throat. I saw a few people try this on today and not one bought it. Go figure.

Tried on the cross stitch and the coco pique WUs. The cross stitch WUs feel like a pique also and are much softer and stretchier than the coco pique.

I used to work for Patagonia, and the models are always about the same, 5'10, 5,11", and a size 4. When women would come in wanting a long down jacket or something we would have to inform them that if it came to mid thigh on the model, the average consumer will be swimming in it. Lulus models seem the same size and going off that has never steered me wrong :)

Anonymous said...

I got an off the mat in polar cream (because I'm a glutton -- but I love the color) and I sized up 2 whole sizes based on reviews. We'll see how that goes. Everyone says circus for the beaming blue EY -- all I see is barbershop quartet.

Anonymous said...

I ordered the love red free to be tank. and the skirt that was in wmtm for $49
I also just recieved my WUC in the stripe love red and I don't have the super sheer issue, I am pretty petite 5'-3" boyish body and I got a size 4 and it has the triangle gusset but I didn't get the dreaded CT. I also go commando with my workout gear. My take is that if you have a petite skinny type body these new lulu clothes work, but if you are curvy it becomes an issue.

M
