New What the Fluff Down Scarf. I wonder how much this will be. It also has a storage pocket.

The Toasty Cheek Run Skirt has hit the stores. Shown with Runder Under tights, What the Fluff Vest, Ice Queen LS, WTF Mittens, and WTF Ear Warmer.

Those mitts are great, if you like running while wearing your oven mitts.

At first I thought the winter running skirt was silly but the more I thought about it I am totally on-board. I wear leggings all winter (...all year actually) and my bum is always freezing...it would be so cute to have a little skirt to keep it warm. I live in Edmonton and it is cold cold cold. Would be good for running and just every day wear.

I thought the skirt was called Hot Cheeks?

HA! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought the mittens look like oven mitts! But I do need that bum-warmer skirt! :)

Went for a run the other night in -1 celsius weather. Even though I wore my insulator CWX tights, made especially for cold winter runs, my bum was cold. By 10k I was thinking about that down skirt...

Oven mitts!! My thoughts exactly!

I'm sorry, but these colors are not pretty.

I am very interested in that down scarf! But I think if the weather was cold enough I wanted to add down to my outfit, a scarf would be too bulky and choosing a jacket would be smarter. Also I'm sure the price will be something stupid like $128 so.. not happening for me!

Thank goodness I am not the only one who thinks the mittens look like oven mitts! the WTF scark totally looks like baby winter bunting to me - I thought she had an infant in that first pic!
I am SO glad to see the skirt IRL though but it's way too pricey compared to skhoop and others out there. I just picked up a Nike Thermore insulated skirt off of ebay for $22.50 with shipping - can't be that! If the skirt makes it to WMTM I'll grab it but not before...

I just realized I don't know the price of the skirt - do we know? I'm guessing $128??

Barf!!!! Only thing tolerable is te vest. Everything else looks ridiculous! Those oven mits are almost as dumb as the scarf.

Does anyone know how much the Toasty Cheek Run Skirt is?

Hi! I was in a Lulu store today and the mittens are 48$.

that skirt could be very useful not just for running. I walk a lot out doors and sometimes it gets tiring to look dumpy in layers of pants etc. having a cute warm skirt is a good alternative.

$48 mittens! Geez. This girl is making me want the toasty skirt, but since it will surely cost way more than the mittens... Looks like I won't be getting it. Sad. I get cold-booty, too. This idea is very appealing.

Yikes, everything looks awful this winter. Last winter was so much more interesting...They seem to have gotten into more technical designs, but that you can get anywhere...How is that an advantage - especially at their price point?

Anon. @ 2:08PM again.... The skirt is 78$. I grabbed one. I think it's cute and will keep the bum warm.

$48 for glorified oven mitts? That's laughable, what a horrible design.

I think the mittens looks great. I end up balling my hands up into fists in my gloves because my fingers get cold and the brisk mittens are little more than cotton socks. I have never run in down before, have any of you? Athleta has a few bum warming skirts but the down one is no where near as cute as this one, it is a line and bows out along the length of the zipper. I think the down pullover is super cute but..I am not sure about running in down. I usually layer up a swiftly and something rulu and a windbreaker and still get hot. 20degrees f.

I love the idea of a warmer pullover but am curious as to the breathability and potential overheating in that down pullover. Like the longer length and the flap in the back for mobility but...that's a whole lot of down panels everywhere, no? Today it was about 48 and I ran in just an Energy bra (love those) and my Ambition pullover from two years ago and was really comfortable. I HATE being too hot on a run and would rather layer, I think or wear a vest. That pullover may be better when just standing or walking around outside in very cold weather...

1) I'm loving that WTF Vest in Limitless Blue paired with I'm assuming either LB LS Swiftly in the 2nd pic!
2) Down scarf? Maybe it's because I live in sunny LA that wrapping something bulky around me when I'm already wearing bulky jackets/layers isn't that appealing and would limit movement. Wonder if it will stay put since it's so bulky?
3) That DTS Jacket just doesn't look practically as there's no coverage in the front / neck area. Just a lot of bulk.

I'm loving that there are so many down items to keep your entire body warm but it doesn't make sense to me to see the gal in the pic (standing stretching her quads/hamstrings) all covered up but her ankles are so exposed to the elements.

I too see the value of a down skirt.

LLA, do you think we'll get any of these down items in So Cal? I only saw the Roasty Tech PO in Love Red at the Santa Monica store b/c they were returns and a size 2 to boot. Way too small for me unfortunately to be able to try on. I'm really loving the WTF pullover and vest.

@ Chingaling - I was at South Coast Plaza today. They didn't have any of the What the Fluff stuff yet but were expecting them.

Can anyone comment on the sizing of the down skirt? I often have to size down in skirts like that. Is it TTS?

Anonymous said...

Anon. @ 2:08PM here again.... I wear a size 4 in WU and size 6 in Speed shorts. I went for a size 6 for the down skirt. I might have been even ok with the size 8 which I did not try on, but would be curious to see how that one fits.... Hope this helps.

I forgot to add... I'm a size 6 for all Lulu skirts. So, I guess it's TTS (the down skirt). :)

Thanks for the sizing info! I ordered one from Athleta with their 20% off sale and would like to compare with LLL's. I like to wear my tights in the winter and wouldn't mind some warm bum coverage.

All this fluff stuff is embarrassing ---- so hidious!!! And that scarf is a laugh...could also be used as a baby blanket? Ugggh! Glad I'll be saving some money this winter.
