Australian Exclusive - New Crane Crops and More

The mystery of the crops that have the Spring Has Sprung Multi Print halfway up the leg is solved - new Crane crops that are an Australian exclusive, according to one of my product alert emails. Not sure if these are luon or luxtreme but I'd guess luxtreme or maybe a hybrid of both. I'm not sure if it means it's exclusive to Australia right now or forever. I tend to think I'd assume we are not getting them. It's shown with the Mint Moment Power Up tank, made of silver luon.

Pink Shell Scuba Stretch and Cool Racerback

I love the Power Up tank!
I picked it up in blue and I'm waiting to take the tags off in hopes of a better color selection.
Pink would be perfect !

Those crops with the floral print half-way down the leg, can stay in Australia... forever! Ugly and weird.

Another reason, to not be a loyal customer of Lulu anymore. Lately, they seem to do everything in their power to PI$$ off their customers! Poor return policies, bad customer service when you call them, declining quality, a 20 minute argument when you are in-store, to explain why you want to exchange something..... Please remind us, why we should remain loyal to a company like this?! LOL... Seriously, I am way beyond my past obsession of Lulu. Elvis has LEFT...the building!

Of course the one item that finally grabs my interest is potentially an exclusive release for Australia. Those crops are so cute and I love the spring has sprung print on them! Typical disapointment from lulu lol

LLL said that SeaWheeze gear was exclusive too, then shipped off all sizes manufactured for AUS/NZ. They chose to redefine what exclusive means.

Maybe this is a crappy thing to say, but I'm getting kind of irritated at the selection/product premieres that Australia has been seeing. LLL is a Canadian company with a broad American base as well. Share the love with us North Americans!

And yes yes I know the Aussies pay more for stuff...but come on, their Boxing Day WMTM was unreal in terms of prices/selection! I'm not against Australia getting the same line-up as us, but I wish some colors/items would premiere in Canada/the US and that the older stock (older colors, defines, etc.) didn't all automatically go to them.

Pink shell is a tough color to pull off when your olive skin isn't tan- makes you look sallow and sick- however on peaches and creme complexions or rosy skin tones it looks great- i'm the former so a pass for me. waiting for a color i love!

Has anyone else noticed that the return online has changed. They now include a return label ($5 charge) to print out -- thats a nice feature -- My post office is a nightmare!!

On the other hand -- if the quality of the wunder unders I received for Christmas (black with Pink Quilt) weren't such crappy quality -- I wouldnt have noticed it -- I practically live in WUC for the gym an these are oddly spongey stretch-ey if you know what I mean -- and still with the cheap gussett--

@ anon 6:41 am - good point!

@ anon 7:17 am - I feel that way, too. I'd prefer if everyone got the new stuff at the same time. I think part of the reason they get stuff earlier is that they are at opposite seasons than us. I also think they are probably the first stop from the manufacturing countries. I firmly believe one reason they had such great markdowns was it's not selling in Australia. It's not like Canada shipped the good stuff over there and screwed us. It's just not selling in Australia. I'd bet the jacked up price is one big reason.

@ momof5 - I've read some complaints from people who make multiple orders and now can't combine shipping but,in general, I don't think it's bad overall except if you are shipping back something very lightweight like a Cool Racerback.

Also OT, related to Ebay: Stay away from the following auctions because these Scuba hoodies are fake:

I like the crops with the floral pattern they are unique. I wonder if all the floral stuff is going to hit north America in the spring.
The Union Square NYC store had a lot of racks with sale items. Lots of the winter stuff in all sizes and loads of people buying. I got some black run shorty shorts for $29 a black swan CRB and the new pink and polar tata tamer.

I keep hearing people having problems returning and exchanging but I personally have never had a problem. I just returned a power purple define that I bought in July or August because after the first wash the inside pocket seams started shredding. They sent me a shipping label and I forgot to include the receipt and I still got the full amount I paid within days. I will admit the quality hasn't been the best this past summer but since then I believe it's gotten slightly better.

Every time I see all the pink and black stuff, including in the store, it just looks so cheap to me and reminds me of VS PINK stuff -- which is NOT a compliment.

@ anon 9:28am - you are so right about the fakes - they have a luon tag on the scuba - scubas are not made from luon

in general....Ive been staying away from EBay a lot lately. I had two people try and sell me FAKE Burberry scarves, for $300, when I can buy the real thing on the Burberry website for $415! Oh they swore me up and down, they were selling authentic scarves, and they had 10 of the same one for sale. LOL.... When I started to ask too many questions, they pulled ALL their ads down! In fact, I did a search on their name and they were gone! Ive scored authentic items on EBay, but you have to be very very CAREFUL, not to meet a scammer! I saw one woman on EBay claiming to sell various designer items, but noticed her feedback score was 95%. When I read her neg. comments...I noticed she had complaints of selling some fakes and every response she gave to the customer, she was blaming THEM for all her issues! LOL... I don't buy from anyone with less than 98% feedback. Another heads up--DON'T buy Lulu from a seller, who "thinks" the item is a size 8 or "thinks" it might be a size 10. Ive had sellers on EBay, say they weren't sure of the size...but thought it to be a size 8 and when the item arrived, I knew right off it was a size 4!!! :( I guess you just have to KNOW what to look for and listen to your gut! Ive been burned a few times by EBay, so unless I absolutely need that item and can't live without it, I try and avoid eBay. (Unless that seller has excellent feedback) And if someone has a $4,000 Louis Vuitton handbag up for buy it now...for $300 or a starting bid at $25...it's most likely a fake! Unfortunately, eBay has a long way to go, for stoping listers from selling fakes.

Regarding the Crane Crops, That diagonal seam cutting through the thigh reminds me of my Run:Stay on Course leggings. That seam is super unflattering as it separates the leg and squeezes the muscle/fat awkwardly and I have super muscular bangin' legs that I love to show off!! My tummy is a disaster but LEGS-- I can preen about! -- LOL. .. not in these stay on course things though with that diagonal seam..... I will probably avoid these crane crops if they come to our side of the pond.

Jealous! I'm home for Christmas (nowhere near a lulu). Hopefully they'll still be some good stuff when I get back to the city next week.

Would like to have a chance at the Crane Crop. I feel there hasn't been a decent knee length crop for yoga in a while. (No complaints on run crops, I have a lot and am content). My favourite crop is the Dignity Crop which I wish they would bring back. I really like the two Ebb & Flow crops that I have. I know they're coming back as E&F ii as seen here sometime ago. I can't believe they haven't hit NA yet.

On returns (in Canada): I have only had to return a few things for quality issues and have never had a problem. My most recent issue was with a CRB. The stitching on the inside at the armhole was coming undone. Have never had this happen and had only worn it twice and washed it three times. Absolutely no issue with the exchange as they still had the colour.
