Maybe this is a case of not knowing what you have til it's gone (cue the Cinderella glam rock...), but I would be ALL OVER so many of these awesome colored Scubas if lulu hadn't effed with the design. Which I'm starting to think is their new marketing strategy (since clearly the beloved scarcity model is no longer in place): "Discontinue" an old favorite, and then the addicts will clamor for the re-release a few months later. (Ala Scoop Neck tank...)

Saw those scuba's in the store - really cute! I actually like the fit of these, not as bulky as the d ones. However, the price should have gone down. I think the new colors have a stretch panel under the arm, really makes a difference. Also, my store had the free2b chevron print bra,not liking the fabric, seems shiny. Love the runderunders LS, just can't decide what color! Huge rack stuff on mark down, a lot of studio crops from the Summer (Pblue, currant, white). I did buy the BB CRB,really nice! It wasn't super soft but not poly feeling either, just nice.

So I just noticed that Lululemon posted a little saying about gratitude on their facebook page today... Any chance this means the gratitude wrap is coming back for tonight's upload??? Fingers crossed!!!

I was just about to email you a photo of me wearing the beaming blue striped Scuba Stretch, in case you hadn't seen it yet! I tried it on today with the beaming blue CRB. SO CUTE. But I didn't buy it. I am not really in the market for a Scuba. The length was okay--I'm short-waisted--but it just isn't what I need right now.

I picked up my beaming blue CRB in the Richmond, VA store today. Great color, soft fabric. I think my blue itch is finally satisfied, between that tank, the Limitless Blue tank, and a couple other tanks in blue shades Nike put out over the summer.

I love the blk/white stripes- i wonder if its poly/shiny? I don't like that look and feel- might order and see. Is there an upload tonight? wed night? let me know- thanks- btw i tried on the new scuba stretch at 5'4" its not so short but its boxy and not defined at the waist- and i did like the length of the original just a more flatering fit all the way around- now if they'd have made it lighter weight w/ the same design- i could have liked that!

Kind of glad all this striped stuff is coming out, just when my wallet needed a break!

UGH, those Scuba Stretch hoodies looks so short on the models... When is Lulu going to start looking at the feedback and make them longer?? I want a new hoodie but I refuse to spend $108 on a too-short, overpriced hoodie!!!

I also saw the GRATITUDE post!
Would they give such an obvious hint ( no oxymoron intended)

If so, if they are uploaded with a herringbone or piqué print it will crash the site!

But I think we can expect a beamish upload! I feel like effiel 65 with all this BLUE

Heads up! The black/white classic stripe speed shorts are see-thru and the liner is pink. Really Lulu?! I'm so sick of the garbage they are churning out lately.

Picked up the BB CRB today, very soft:) felt more like the old school luon BUT got home and realized the Lulu symbol was peeling off pretty bad. Not that I really care that much about the symbol it just looks kind if run down, plus I am a picky lady:) Anyway called the store and even though I pulled all of the tags off they will exchange it no problem. Check this out... Got home, checked the mail and there was a hand printed letter from Lululemon thanking me for being one of the first people to call and let them know about the $0 Limitless Blue CRB issue. Included was a $42 GIFT CARD nice!!! Maybe their CS is not so bad after all;)

Picked up the Beaming Blue CRB today as well as the SE s/s Swiftly Lace in Silver Slate/Black - love it! The CRB feels thick and soft. If you recently looked at the Limitless Blue CRB, it is softer than that one. (I have it as well and have no problem with it.)

Toronto Eaton Centre shoppers, tonight there were/are a bunch of Relaxed Fit crops on markdown for $39 before tax - light/peppered grey, bright blue, bordeaux, black. Eaton Centre's open late! or try your luck in the a.m.

I saw that new Draft Dodger Jacket and other lace stuff - photos of didn't appeal to me and in person definitely an "ick" in my opinion. Didn't care for the BB Bundle Up with the lace hood either. Way to ruin it!

Toronto EC store also has the Black and White Classic Stripe CRB.

Also a bunch of men's stuff on md, jackets, sweaters, and those nice pants - slim fit with the "plaid" pattern in the beige or grey. Not on the site anymore, forget what they're called.

I haven't had a ton of problems with returning crap products to them. They are usually very apologetic "this never happens" kind of stuff. But it's happening more often than it should. Maybe it depends on your local store, which shouldn't be the case. They need to work on their pants...so many are sheer on me now. They didn't used to be. Stop cutting corners!

Maybe the "gratitude" reference is related to their quarterly earnings that they will announce tomorrow before the bell? Actually, there has been some fairly heavy selling the past few days on Lulu shares (a little ominous before an earnings announcement) so I think the market is expecting some disappointment.

The interesting thing to watch for will be their 4th quarter (holiday season) guidance -- if they give it at all. They seem to have some serious product clunkers heading into the holiday season, ongoing quality issues, and pricing issues. I wonder how these topics will be addressed (if at all). I bet there will be more spin put on market expansion and the new international e-commerce sites.

@ 4:17 PM thanks for the heads up. I looked for those when I shopped today but the store didn't have them.

Hate the short scubas. They look cheap. Nothing else is exciting. But a wrap in herringbone could definitely bring me out of my no-thank-you streak.

OT -- what happened to the Alberta Lake Herringbone Define that was available in all sizes just a couple of days ago on the U.S site. It has disappeared!

@ lulu investor - I am eagerly awaiting tomorrow's conference call. I think their 4th quarter is going to suck.

My sentiments exactly.

I haven't tried the new scubas yet, but I know I already find even the older ones too short. I like the idea of lighter stretchier material, but length will be a deal breaker for me. Also, look at the bottom part of the zip in a lot of pictures of the new scuba - the jacket usually looks cheap there because the material is light enough that it bends in or out with the zipper, hanging funny there.

I had a chance to check out the black/white stripe and beaming blue/white stripe scubas in a Lululemon store in Vegas. While I love the idea of the stripe they look a little cheap! Especially the cuffs...the stripes are painted on so when they are stretched you can see white spots in between. Same with the blue...not exactly great quality for $108
