whoa! LLA you've flown past a million page views for the month- yeah!

How are the latest Scoop Neck tanks? TTS? I hesitate to buy right away with all those tweaks LLL has done to staple items.

the bold in the cold ls is listed as rulu "light" , i have rulu items but no light items. just to be frank, is that anther thin sub par quality material, like luon light?

how is making a top with a crappier fabric make it warm?

has anyone tried this on? i actually was looking at it although the back design and fabric description has changed my mind.

if anyone has tried it or seen it i would be interested in what you thought, i won't buy it because the back pleat but i am now on the lookout for rulu light.

thanks

I think the first base tank is made of rulu light I have one and the material is buttery soft. I wore it under a run jacket and ran in cold and it really did a great job wicking sweat.

@anon 6:48 - i haven't tried the bold in the cold, but i did feel the speedy turtleneck in the store the other day (also made of rulu light) - and it felt THIN and CHEAP. it was still soft like rulu, but oh boy, was is think. felt like my fingernail could easily put a hole in the material. definite pass. the runder under LS, on the other hand, are regular rulu and i love them! (and it's basically the same thing as the bold in the cold but without the awful pleated back)

I lot of those page views are from me. I check at least 10 times a day to read the comments

The bold in the cold pants are pretty amazing. they almost feel like a light soft wetsuit on the outside, the inside is really soft and they will definitely keep you warm and dry. I compared them to a pair of Nike cold weather pants which are only $10 cheaper and the Lulu is much sturdier cuter and has the nice waist and pockets. It looks like it runs big. the 4 looked more like a 6 and they do not have a size 2 at my local store.
The lacey pattern looks much better in person amd is quite subtle.
I am geting them in the beaming blue.

I sized down from 6 to 4 and still had room to layer a pair of luxtreme running crops under (for the compression).

Love the idea of matching patterned bra and shorted with a solid CRB on top. Nice!

Run Bold in the Cold LS fit report: I bought it on Monday night's upload. I received it in the mail today. It will be returned. First off, it's $128. The top is not worth that much. It does fit TTS. The drape/tent/yoke of the back isn't super flattering - it makes you look like you are hiding a big belly or something. Also, it is cream in the front but on the inside it is black near the top - unfortunately the black seams showed through the cream front. It made the top look cheaply made.

Hey LLA -- speaking of page views and reading comments, etc., I always subscribe to Post Comments for each post via Google Reader, but do you know if there is a way where I can just automatically subscribe to all comments the same way I already subscribe to all posts? Is anyone able to do this? I love all the insight from the readers in addition to the great posts. Thanks!

The scoop neck tank with the flowers seems a bit scratchy. I felt that one in comparison to the black and love red and it just had this rough feel to it.

Got my order from Wednesday today. Live the toasty tech tights. Got them in black, 8 and may have been able to size down to a 6. These are a keeper. Also got the black/white stripe pacesetter. Y.U.C.K. It's a rough two-way strech and a very dull black. I like my pacesetters to be flowy. This is not. It's going back. The pattern looks much more vibrant in the photos. And the lace strip across the back looks cheap. Bummed.

Lets start with the positive... I Went to my local store today and SCORED on a beaming blue polar cream Vinyasa! It's made of Rulu which is a TOTAL bonus...IMO the new Vinyasas in Luon Lt are just awful.

I asked about the DHBH hoodie and the girl tried to sell me an Off the Mat jacket, saying it's the same thing! When I described she DHBH further, she still tried to argue with me and sell me the OtM... Then she said I should try the new Scuba Stretch, since the quality is significantly better than the old Scuba and it seemed to her that all I wanted was a hoodie. OMG.

I politely passed, and then asked if they had any Vinyasas made of Rulu. First she pointed me to the men's cashmere scarves and suggested I try one of those because they are amazing. WHAT???!!! Then she pointed me to the counter where all their Vinyasas are kept and told me all the Vinyasas are made of Rulu. UGH NO! They were all the new ones made from Luon. Luckily they had one random beautiful BBPC one that I immediately snatched. A girl ran up behind me and offered me $20 to give it to her. Ummm NOPE its mine! ;)

UGH is anyone else sick and tired of the people at their local stores knowing NOTHING about the products they are selling? I mean I'm not a crazy expert, but there are some basic things that anyone who works at Lulu NEEDS to know. Being skinny and pretty really shouldn't be all that it takes to work at Lulu!

Oh I know 4:15 pm! Believe me, I know!! I hate getting on chat or calling the GEC cause half the time, you get someone who has NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!!! I got several product notifications regarding the WTF collection and chatted w one gal online--I asked her how much for a particular item and she tells me, to either wait for an upcoming upload or CALL A STORE & ask them?! AREN'T YOU THE ALMIGHTY GEC??? WTF?! Really??? Good gawd...

I ordered the striped speeds and pacesetter. I returned the speeds because they ran small, I felt like the pink piping didn't stretch so that was tight on the top of my bum while the waistband was still bigger, and the pink liner that glows underneath. The pink liner didn't show that much in my house, but when I tried them on one last time in the store before returning, the pink was literally glowing through.

@malia - your store had off the matt jackets?? On the website it says they're "online only". Ugh, I hate how NOTHING IS ACCURATE!! What the FUCK!

LuluAddict said...

@ Malia C. - this is the time of year they have a lot of temporary workers for the holidays so the odds of getting someone who doesn't know the merchandise is very high.

@ anon 12:08 pm - Beats me. I don't read any other blogs that regularly and I tend to scroll through the comments on posts that interest me. I thought there is an RSS feed thingy but I don't know. Sorry.

@ Sophia - I thought OTMs were on-line only but stores can get them when people return them.

Me too!! Lol!!❤❤

@LLA- ok, That's reasonable. I'll calm down now. I guess at this point the errors and inaccuracies are just SO FREQUENT, that I jumped to conclusions.

@malia that strange. the ladies and guys at my local lulu are super nice.(union square NYC) helpful and never ever try selling me anything that I am not interested in. I guess it depends where one is.
