New Flare/Inkwell Vinyasa

New Light Flare/Inkwell Vinyasa Scarf. As a Syracuse alum I'm feeling the urge to get some of this stuff. (I'm sure there are Illinois and Auburn grads that feel this way, too.  ;-)  )

Add UVA to that list of orange and blue too!

Thanks, I was trying to think of big schools that had navy and orange as their colors. Lol.

Okay - that group picture doesn't make me want to buy anything. And is the "shell pink" on the skirt a different color than the "shell pin" on the jacket? Strange. They look like completely different colors.

whoa hey, is that a pink pacesetter?? did we see that in any aussie notifications? that's new..

Go Fighting Illini!

They'l sell out in Birmingham, for sure! Now, how about some crimson and white for 'Bama, Lulu?!

Do you think we'll get all the colors that Australia has right now?

Can anyone comment on the fit of the Pink Shell Forme? I'm really tempted to buy it, but I'm not sure what size to order.. I wear an 8 in Scuba (not stretch) but probably could/should have gone with a 10, and my Back To Class is a perfectly comfortable 8....

Halloween called, it wants its vinyasa back.

@ Anon 11:51 AM and crimson and white for the Univ. of Utah! :-D

Anonymous said...

I second that, Anon 11:51. Roll Tide!

That group photo doesn't inspire me in the least to buy anything either and I don't care for that baby girl pink!Yuk! And orange and navy?! Ugh! On that too!

Can we assume that this scarf will be Luon light?

I don't know if this was said on another post, but I just checked out the reviews on the wtf pullover on sale and there are only 2 reviews! I know the last time I looked there was almost 30. Wtf?

Yikes, so much PINK!! I've never seen lulu do this much of a single color at once.

Does anyone know if its Rulu??

I saw a mint/black (or inkwell?) stripe vinyasa in my US showroom today. Can't remember if that has been on here yet... Also returned my chevron scarf and heard they have been getting a lot of them back and were wondering why. AND I saw a faux limits tank (as I like to think of it...) in the gap today. I think it was $25-30 full price.

The educator in the front looks like she escaped from the Eric Prydz "Call on me" music video. Not right.

@anon 11:34AM - I think that's a Run: Chase Me Skirt. Just got a product notification e-mail with that pink skirt in it from my local store. Although, that color for the pacesetter would be so cute!

I'm curious, if given the quality and design issues lately, anyone has tried out Victoria Secret's VSX line. I purchased a pair of their crops on markdown today. Structure and design seems quite similar to lulu crops and the price is better. I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform and how they hold up.

OT- going up near Toronto tomorrow- passing the oakville, square one and sherway gardens lululemon- which one (or ones) should I hit for good markdowns and new product? Thanks!!!

I didn't see the pink pacesetter in my local store in Canada. Is it out in Canada/the US yet?

I tried on the Pink Shell LS Swiftly today and didn't like the feel of the fabric. My Swiftlies were all made in Israel and this was made in Sri Lanka. I thought we discussed this before that the new fabric is not as soft and stretchy, didn't we? The Israeli ones feel comfy and this felt scratchy-like. The saleslady told me that there is no difference bc lulu sources its fabric from the same place but then ships it to different facilities to be manufactured. I just don't believe her bc you can't deny that they feel differently. Anyone else think so too?

Does it look weird to workout in a gym with a LS swiftly? I always wear tanks to workout indoors, but I'm in love with the shell pink LS swiftly. I don't think I've ever noticed anyone wear long sleeves at the gym before.

the pink shell skirt is a totally different color- it doesn't even match the waistband and the liner

Flare/Inkwell striped vinyasa = Gag Me (from the 80s, where that scarf has apparently beamed in from...)

I'm just going to say it. The flare/inkwell is so ugly... Sorry :(

I went into the store tonight and most of the patrons were young teens, trying on the shell pink tops and Grooves.
Sigh.

Anyone want a brand new pair of the coco pique black WUP in size 6? Took the tags off and have now changed my mind on them. Mostly because I'm hating my body right now.
No idea how to use Ebay....

Hi All
Yesterday, I stood in line at the Kelowna Lululemon for an hour. I was one of the first ones into the store and I grabbed an infinity mad scarf. I took it to the cash register to check if it was marked down; it was not. I also checked on the travel shower kits as I heard the ones from last year were marked down significantly on Boxing Day. The shower kits weren't marked down either. Today I popped back in and found that both items were marked down. I purchased a scarf. I know that individual stores have the ability to mark down prices as they see fit but it seemed odd to me that the same items that were regularly priced on Boxing Day were suddenly marked down one day later. I guess the morale if the story is that it's worthwhile to check back throughout the week if you are "monitoring" the price on an item.

Anon@2:29 you're right! One of the reviewers even says "because of all the poor reviews I was hesitant" but no poor reviews to be seen! Just 2 really good ones!!!!! What??!!! They know we aren't dumb but the average LLL shopper won't know this and just see the 5 star reviews!! BOOOOO LLL!!

I actually wore my Flare Swiftly LS to the gym today! I live in Flagstaff, AZ though, so it's pretty chilly here and places have a hard time keeping the chill out. That and I feel like I could stand to sweat a little more this time of year. :P But yeah, don't typically see many long sleeves at the gym.

Stefanie said...

I was just thinking today about how my Flare Swiftly LS fits a lot tighter and is less stretchy than my pink mist or black Swiftly. No idea where any of them were made since the tags are long gone, but I definitely notice a difference. Oh, and first wearing of the Flare one I snagged it with my dry cuticle on my thumb. Seriously, work-out clothing should not be that freaking delicate. :(

@5:26 pm I totally wear my long sleeved swiftlies at the gym. The only thing to worry about is abrasions if you do a lot of work on the floor. But other than that, I love having them to warm up in or wear the whole time when the gym is cold.

If you go to the black one that's not on sale, you'll see it still has all the reviews. For some reason the new reviews for the sale ones are not being combined

Anonymous said...

See what I wrote above to anon at 2:29. The reviews are all still there for the full price black WTF pullover. For some reason all the reviews aren't being combined.

Dr. Seuss called - he wants his stripes back.

Anonymous said...

Your best best is sherway then square one. Oakville is a bust. If you can make it to Vaughn mills it's the BEST for markdowns.

Anonymous said...

@ 2:29, I read many that said it was hard to get the WTF pullover on/off, over one's head. Some lived with it, some did not buy it, some took it back.

@ 5:25 PM, I tend to believe her? I know it's been explained before that even different dyes make the fabrics feel different. CRB's would be a good example since they don't always feel the same, right? Soft vs. stiffer or 'scratchy'.

Hi
I love the pink shell form, tried it on before they pulled the pink items prior to x-mas. I wear a 4 in scuba's and have a size 4 Back to Class that fits perfectly. I would stick to your size 8 in this jacket. Despite all of the form jacket hating I like this pink one:)

Sophia said...

As in, you're looking for someone to kindly donate them to (: ?

Anonymous said...

the swiftly that was made in Israel is definately different and less scratchy, I have a few old ones and the new ones are different and fit also fit different

Anonymous said...

@ 9:03 how much was the travel kit marked down? DId you notice any other new mark downs at the Kelowna store?

Jen said...

I'd buy the shower kit if it ever is marked down online.

Add me to the list of folks who are not excited about orange/blue, unless those were my school colors. (ASU! Maroon and gold! Which I really hope never to see from lulu - not exactly lulu colors...)

To much pink that is just overwhelming. Not for me I am not the girly pink type, it actually gives me nausea.

@5:25pm, the Israeli made swiftlys definitely have a different look and texture than the Sri Lanka ones. I think there was only a small number of colors last year made in Israel. The weave didn't look as tight and they seemed to have a looser fit--the ribbing detail was also not as defined looking. I honestly didn't like the look of the fabric so I had returned the few I bought. I did end up with one because I bought it on WMTM having forgotten that that particular color was part of the Isareli made batch. If you have a LS swiftly those tended to have larger thumb holes as well. I like the Sri Lanka ones which is where most seem to have been made for most of last year and this year.

I thinking wearing a LS swiftly at the gym is fine. Although I have seen someone wear a LS swiftly at a hot yoga class... um, okaaay

Anonymous said...

I think it was $49.00. I'm not certain though.

Anonymous said...

Wow. Am I glad you mentioned about further items discounted at the Kelowna store. Made a journey to the store and scored. Thanks so much. PS - decided against the travel kit. I need to carry more lotions and potions than the kit allows for.

I did buy: Speedy Turtleneck blk $59, Nothin but Run jacket flash light $59, Toasty Tech Pullover blk $69, St. Moritz Sweater blk $69 and Bundle Up jacket grey/polar cream $139 (bought this one on BD and noticed they were reduced further to $99 today, but not my size).

i was at the scp store this afternoon and I'm so sad i didn't go right after Christmas! they had pretty much every cold winter gear on sale. bundle up jackets for $99, wtf vests and pullovers for $59 and $79, that overpriced ls top fir $49 and more. but nothing i really wanted was in my size :(

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:07 pm - those markdowns just came in this afternoon. Everything was priced the same or not on markdown at all on Dec. 26th. You hit SCP at the right time. It was a bit picked over in size 12 but there was a lot left in the other sizes. Fashion Island had some great markdowns, too.
