Polar Cream Pitter Patter, Mini Try On Reports, and More

Polar Cream Pitter Patter Pullover

Shown with Run For Your Life Crops

The Runder Under LS with silver. I tried this on today and really liked it. I like that it's solid and doesn't have any stripes on it. The ruffles at the shoulder are a nice touch, too. It came to right below my crotch in the front and covered my rear pretty well. The only thing I don't care for is the price but I will keep an eye out for this to hit the markdown rack.

The solid Beaming Blue U-Turn Pullover with silver. I didn't see this at the store today. I am curious to know whether the arm seams are as stiff as the are on the color blocked versions.

Pink Shell Bangbuster, Swiftly, and Pirouette headbands. The Swiftly is very pretty and I was tempted to get it. I wonder if the Pink Shell Swiftly tops will be as concentrated in color. Sometimes the headbands look much better than the actual shirts and pinks always seem to be diluted with the lines of silver.

Classic Stripe White/Pink Shell Power Y. I was tempted to get this today. I actually liked the fit of this Power Y and I haven't cared for many of the luon light Power Ys. The material felt on the thicker side, for a change.

 Beaming Blue/Laceoflage No Limit Tank.

I really like this combo of the Black Don't Hurry Be Happy (really glad I got this, it's been chilly here lately.) and the Laceoflage Lustrous crops.

Beaming Blue Laceoflage Inspire crops. I tried on the new Black and White striped Inspires yesterday. I am considering getting a pair for cooler weather running.

The Laceoflage Side Angle Pant and Pink Shell Forme Jacket.

The white herringbone Wunder Unders are getting a lot of chatter on the boards. They are super soft and stretchy. Shown with a Black Scoop Neck on top and a White Shape Jacket with the Pink Shell Cool Racerback on the bottom.

Two of the new Ice Queen Styles. I like the black and white striped ones a lot.

Great shot showing the flattering seaming on the back of the Lustrous Crops.

I like how Raspberry Glo coordinates with Pink Shell. I was having trouble coming up with jackets to pair my new PS CRB with. I think it looks nice against Bordeaux, too.

Great front and back shots of the Shape Jacket.

Men's Chillstop Hoodie. I think the color is Black Iris Blue but it looks a lot like Alberta Lake Green to me. The color is beautiful.

Men's Chillstop Half Zip in Limitless Blue - you can match your SO now when you run together!  ;-) It's softshell in the front and fleece in the back.

New Men's (or unisex) Crosstown Beanie and Scarf made of merino wool. I don't care about the beanie but I do like the scarf. This one actually looks practical unlike the bulky women's version.

That Pitter Patter looks more like Dune...I would totally dig a darker off white/tan color.

I got the black/white herringbone WUCs and I like them a lot, but I always worry that they are a tad too light for my ample thighs. I so wish I had gotten the black swan ones! But I love the feel! They are soft and cozy and may be perfect for days at home.

This all just looks really stupid now. The pink + black / white reminds me of elementary school trapper keepers circa 1990.

I loved the look and feel of the white herringbone wuc so much! However, they made my muscular legs look enormous. No thank you!

I got the toasty tech pullover in the white color and I really like it a lot. I think it will work for both running and sailing in cold weather.
I also got the run bold in the cold pants which I think are great and really warm for super cold weather running. The waist is a bit high, but I don't mind. I can see some people having the CT issue with these if they are too tight. I got the 4 and I am petite with small hips.

I'm really liking the white herringbone WUC. It's such a classic print, but at the same thing not something you'd expect to see at the gym.

OT -- I'm relatively new to Lululemon and was only able to buy one Power Y before they switched to the Luon *Light fabric and the longer cut. I think I was able to find one in Luon in stores yesterday -- will anyone help me verify this? I think the earliest versions of the Power Y *Luon Light were labeled as regular Luon, and I don't want to take the tags off until I know it's the right thing. The shirt and built-in bra are black and the interior stitching is done in black thread instead of the one with gradations of grey. The fabric is 87% nylon and 13% lycra spandex.

Does lululemon do any online sales for Boxing Day?

In Edmonton AB I called yesterday to see if West Edmonton mall had the forme jacket in shell pink, they do but they were pulling it off the floor yesterday morning & arent putting it back on until boxing day. Luckily she said if I came right then I could get one. So if anyone was wanting it, in alberta it wont be avaliable till boxing day.

LLA-thanks for the fit report on the Bold in the Cold pants. I ended up sizing down to my smaller size (6), and they're perfect. Going to be in the vicinity of a couple stores this weekend, so I might see if I can exchange my Toasty Tech pants in an 8, for a 6 as well.

Also got the silver runder under top in blue. Love the softness of the top and love the cute, but subtle ruffles as well. I've pretty much given up on the beaming blue U-turn ever showing up on the website. Boo.

For anyone who's tried the Bold in the Cold Pant, what is the inside like? Are the pants brushed on the inside, (I'm assuming the tech fleece is), but the front soft-shell part, is that brushed or lined with something soft like tech fleece or rulu? Thanks for your help!

Just went to my local lulu to purchase the shell pink striped power y. They pulled all the shell pink and are sending it back do to color fast issues. Ed's told me it is being pulled from all stores.

Duuude, I'm waiting on the White Herringbone WUPs. I hope they upload soon.

Love my new DHBH pullover in black, I know this sounds crazy but I returned the Polar Cream because I found it bulky looking compared to the black. OMG guess I could have tried to rip people off on Ebay $180+ really??? I have a soul. Anyway, while I was at the store I tried on the White herringbone crops and they are nice and soft but I already have a fossil pair that I never wear, too light I think. I really wish they would listen to us and go back to the oval gusset!!! I really need a new black pair and I'm tired of buying my wunder Unders on Ebay and paying a fortune to get the old gusset and nice luon. I have a feeling the old Lulu fabric and quality is gone forever.... Oh and some of the ladies that work at these stores know Jack $hit about Lulu, not all but a large majority.

@Anon 8:14AM

It shouldn't matter whether it is the 'old' or 'new' Power Y tank version. In fact, it doesn't matter if it's the old or new version of anything. Go by how it feels. Does it fit well? Do you like it? Do you feel comfortable in it? Don't let anyone make those decisions for you.

@Anon at 8:14 AM, I apologize. I meant my comment about whether the Power Y is the old or new version for 7:41AM.

Lululemon usually does a WMTM upload on Boxing Day if I remember correctly.

I must say, I decided to try the DHBH pullover based on the rave reviews this blog was giving it and I am SO happy I ordered it. It's amazing. Flattering, comfortable, warm... I wish they'd make these in a million colors! Bummed that the polar cream is sold out on the cad side, wish I had bought both colors now!

I also ordered the cocoa piqué WUC and they are great, also comfortable and thick. I would give them a 10/10 if they had the oval gusset, the triangle is such a stupid design change. I love the crops otherwise though! I agree with a precious poster about the white herringbone WUC ; they're thick and pretty but I'm sending them back as they make my legs look chunky despite being a size 4.

@ anon 12:51 pm - all the pink shell is being pulled? Even the CRBs? I just put mine on this morning. hmmm.

LuluAddict said...

I had the Ghost DHBH from last year but really like the look of the black better. I'm not sure if it's due to a dark color making you look smaller or the fit is different but I don't feel like a human polar bear anymore.

Don't know what the fuss is about for the dhbh pullover. ...but I'm also not a fan of fleece! Haha..

I went to my local store in Florida looking for pink shell items only to find none! They said the color was "pulled." Has no one else heard this?

I'm thinking about getting the Bold in the Cold Pants. Are most people sizing down on these? I got my usual size 6 in the Ice Queen Pants, and I love the fit of these (although if they're supposed to feel compressive, then I bought too big). Is there anyone who has both or has tried on both that can give me some guidance? TIA

Just visited the store and am posting tryon reports. I'm very petite - five feet and very light/small boned for reference. I'm 32-22-31.

Skinny Will Pant - piqué and black. Both phenomenal. Very skinny fit. I tried size 2 and they fit like a glove. I could see this possibly being a size up pant for someone of normal size. No CT issues. Pant was looong but scrunched nicely at the bottom and didn't need hemming IMO.

WUC coco piqué and white herringbone. I have a lot of trouble with WUCs being too loose around my knees. Not so with these 2 pairs. Both fit perfectly with no see through. The white herringbone is soft and yummy like lulu of days gone by. No CT issues in either pair.

CRB in beaming blue fit tts and the Luon was soft and felt nice.

Runder Under LS beaming blue - I tried in a 2 and the shirttail hem hung off me loosely and looked ridiculous. Fit tts in chest and sleeve length was fine. I passed on this.

I ended up buying WUC in herringbone and the CRB. Will buy the skinny will in black online since the pair I tried on had a messed up drawstring and they didn't have another pair. I will say as much as we condemn lulu these days they do manage to still come through with some great stuff. Scubas were piled very high with no interest from shoppers.

I received my Shell Pink CRB it's cute, I'm glad I haven't taken the tags off--they are being pulled????

Bought an Off the Mat jacket and it's off the hook! Someone posted that their store in Philly marked them down. So I'm going to return this one to Somerset and see if they are marking them down too. I'm desperately searching for black herringbone wunder under pants. I hope they make wunder under pants in white herringbone too.
Hoping the Classic black and white stripe LS Devotion top makes it to the US. Saw the BW Chevron SS Devotion-eeck

I was at Oakville and the educator said they are releasing the Pink Form Jacket on December 24 and it was a mistake putting it out early.

She didn't understand either, but she said head office sent out an email. Its apparently for men who come in on the 24th last minute looking for the gift. Apparently a pink form jacket is "the gift"...

They are weird...

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 4:06 pm - someone else posted that, too. I am making inquiries on my boards. People can't find them in the stores but they haven't been told they were pulled. They are still on the website.

I picked up the white herringbone wuc and finally no camel toe. The triangle seems to be placed further front than other pairs I've tried. The material is thick soft and definitely not see through! I have the previous white herringbone define and the material feels the same.

The Shell Pink and white striped Power Y is see through- I can see the bra cups in that photo-such a cute top though.

Does anyone know or has anyone seen or heard word of possible white herringbone WU pants???

Are the pique WU thick like the herringbone?? I have the pique bangbuster and it's like a painted on print-because it's headwear but hopefully the pants are actually textured.

@5:10 p.m., there are white herringbone pants, though not online yet. Someone posted a photo of herself in them. I can't wait for them, either. The crops are yummy.

@7:31 AM It's not your muscular legs. Be proud of your hard work!! The white herringbone WUC make everyone's legs chunky looking. same as the horizontal striped legwarmers. it's the honest truth your best friend would tell you but not your frenemy.

I have joined the dhbh bandwagon!! I'm in between 8 and 10 on top and even the 6 fit well but the arms were a tad too tight. So went with the 8 but its the inside that won me over!! I got the polar cream and what a luxury!!

Tried bold in the cold pants and sized down which fit every where BUT the crotch. Too much material there. So bummed as they would be warm!!

And tried on the white herringbone WUC. Felt awesome but I need a higher waistband.

I have the black herringbone and can vouch for its softness, thickness, and wonderful coverage. I was thrilled about the white herringbone until I tried it on. The fabric did not have quite the same softness and stretchiness for some reason, it seemed like I had to do a lot of tugging to get it in the right place. I even sized up but the fabric isn't quite the same. Maybe it's just an aversion to light-colored bottoms, but it felt like I was on display. 5'10", 130#, size 6 in WUC.

@ anon 11:26 AM - the Bold in the Cold pants are soft/brushed throughout the entire inside; i.e. the inside of the softshell is also fuzzy.

Anonymous said...

the bold in the cold are fuzzy all around, but not bulky. they are warm and the material on the front is pretty good when it's drizzling out. they run true to size in my opinion.
I got a 4 I'm about 5'-3" 120ish and lean with small hips.
I have been hearing from the more curvy ladies that these are not that flattering. they are long on me but I like the ties at the bottoms so I am not getting them hemmed. I am doing a long run in them this evening, let's see how they perform.
