just had the worst experience with online GEC. i order some Run For Your Life crops, they came frayed with hem unraveling out of the bag i noticed before ripping the tags off. they only deal with fedex and the nearest fedex in 30 mins away--so no i'm not going there. i'm never home because i work 60++ hours a week to afford this crap--so no, don't have fedex come to my house. i have a professional man job (i'm a woman in her mid-twenties) so no--don't want the guys to handle my $88 crop issues at work. i'm just going to pay the $2 to return them on my lunchbreak at the post office sometime this week. i find it hard to believe that such a big compnay relies on only one shipping method and offers no other solutions. they came up with nothing. zero. i said "thank you, i'm cover my return usps shipping costs myself." end session.

I'm TOTALLY bummed that the shell pink jacket isn't a define. No matter how I turn it, I just can't get over the tacky metal zipper. I could even probably pay the awful price and turn a blind eye to the lack of cuffins and cheapy thin material. But the metal zipper kills it for me. So, so sad.

Anon @3:55 - Both of the RFYL crops I ordered came with loose threads on the inner seam at the bottom. I figured whoever made them were just sloppy/lazy and didn't trim the ends when they finished the seam so I kept them. Those threads remained fine, but other seams started to come undone on both pairs. I also read a few reviews where people complained of the same things. It does stink they don't offer any other shipping method. I'm also annoyed I have to find a way to make it to FedEx to return my NUMEROUS defective items.

I want to buy some fun new LLL products and i have the money to do so - but sadly everything is poorly styled, not my style or low quality. I would even be happy with just a CRB to add to my collection of 13 CRBs, but the luon light is too thin and cheap quality. The colour of your bra shows through the material because it is so thin, and every imperfection on your torso shows as well. I am getting so frustrated with this company. How have they managed to drop so far in such a short time frame is incredible. A great case study for a business marketing class in university.

My only purchase in weeks (maybe longer) is the Hot Cheeks. After fiddling with sizes I settled on tts rather than sizing up to get the added length. The tts seems to be a good fit (snug) but it did ride up. I had to pull it down many times during my 10k trail run.

I also used my new CW-X Insulator tights. Wow - those were great. Highly recommend. I was warm enough and excellent compression. Far superior to any LLL luxtreme tights IMO. I learned about CW-X last year from the readers of this blog or the Lulumum blog. I really enjoy both blogs. Thank you for running the site and thanks to all the readers who comment and share their insights and opinions.

The coco pique WUs are back on the website - were the QC issues fixed? I thought these were pulled back?!

OT: has anyone done a beaming vs. porcelaine comparison? i got my beaming LS swiftly today and compared to my porcelaine swiftly racerback. the beaming seems to have a tiny tiny bit more green? and makes the porcelaine looked a little washed out, but they are SO CLOSE. funny. anyone out there have a full collection of blues, and if so, how do you decide which one to wear on a given day? ;-)

I'm so disappointed that I can't buy a decent Lulu jacket in Shell Pink. I'm very tempted to buy one of the crappy Forme jackets or scubas, but I won't let myself do it based on principle.

It's a sad day when I can't spend my fun money on Lululemon. It's sad what's happened to this company in the last year.

I can't believe I caved and bought the scuba stretch in laceoflage b/polar cream. I couldn't resist even though I swore I wouldn't buy a scuba stretch. I just really like it, and knew I'd regret it.

I haven't tried the Forme jacket but I did order the Alberta Lake Rose herringbone Scuba stretch and it felt soo cheap--had to return it because I can get a better product for $108.00. I really think the Laceoflage Scuba is cute but a wee bit too cute like little girl not 40 year old woman

@ anon 8:32 pm - I've gotten a lot of compliments on mine.

I just caved and ordered the laceoflage scuba stretch too. I also have the AL rose herringbone. I do prefer the original scuba but I'm short so I can get away with the stretch. It is priced far too high for what it is though. I would never buy one in a solid colour and I wish I wasn't such a sucker for the prints.

3:55 pm.....Speaking of POOR customer service, from Lulus "shoddy" GEC dept, all you have to do is go on their FB page and read!! (Seems more and more like lulu is becoming this shady business!)
Refusing to do a refund, because something went on sale??? Awful! It seems their awful customer service is getting out of control lately. I bought something recently at FULL PRICE and less than 24 hrs later...it went to WMTM! I looked online at my purchase and it suddenly read, "this item is final sale!" I had to call and fight w 2 GEC members before they agreed on a price adjustment!

I dont NEED Lululemon anymore, to make a fashion statement or show my status symbol. I can do that with my Burberry clothes, Louis Vuitton/Gucci handbags and Frye boots! In the end, Lulu is going to lose a lot of their customers. seems they are pretty independent and don't care. sad really....

Perfect. The girl in the studio with the flower in her hair is humming this as we speak.

Anon@7:05, it was the cross-stitch WU's that had a QC issue, not the coco pique.

I know it's been said before but that Forme jacket looks like it had shoulder pads that had been removed - the shoulders stick up. How cheap. The unpainted metal zipper looks cheap, too. This year, I bought tons of crbs, some energy and free to be bras, a few swiftlys, ls devotion Ts and several wunder under crops before they changed the gusset. I also bought and returned so many items, because of poor quality or poor fit. It's too bad because I had my wallet open and money in hand to buy so much more: wraps, fleece tops, pullovers, pants with a decent gusset and nice, thick, non-scratchy luon, cute, well-fitting jackets of new design or something like the live simply, sing floss travel, dance studio. What a bummer year it has been; it just keeps getting worse in terms of quality and design. This is really depressing. Thanks for letting me rant.

I agree anon @6:52 AM ... I'm an old school shopper of lulu- I've been buying it since it was just in a few small stores in Canada. And I have a few pieces from back then. When I bring them out and compare the quality to what it is now- it is worth weeping about. I had children and got pretty fat and worked my A$$ off to lose the weight and one of my goals was to go on a huge lulu binge when I was back down to an 8.... well let me tell you- I bought the DHBH pullover and a pair of run in the mud (or whatever the ones with the gaiters at the bottom are) and that's it. The scubas are so cheap I prefer my knockoff Costco ones. The defines are GONE and the new stuff is ugly/too short/for teenagers now. I'm so, so sad about it. But am looking forward to finding a new brand... I am so sad that lulu switched to Made in China cheap sweatshop labour and lost their vision with their new CEO. She will bring this company down. And it's a tragedy for a once great Canadian company.
