Reader Erika sent me some photos of the liner in the men's Sea Wheeze short. It's very cute. I hope Lulu has a tee shirt with this print for sale at the race. I still haven't gotten my Sea Wheeze shorts yet. I need to check with my sister to see if she got hers.
Worked my way farther down my inbox and found some more good photos of the men's short. (Thanks to Jill for these photos.)
Reader Oriana sent me photos of her new Daily Gym Bag that turned out to be a surprise. She thought she had ordered a solid black version, which was the photo on the website, but she got a dot patterned one instead. I think it's pretty cute but there are several reviews on the website where people aren't happy they got a different item than what was pictured. The Daily Bags are no longer on the website so I'm not sure if we'll see this dot bag again. It's very cute and goes with the High Noon and Seaside Dot prints. It's too bad we never even got a chance to see it on the site in the first place. I don't think I have seen it in the store photos yet so maybe it will be coming and the people who ordered on the web got it early by accident.
Reader Sara writes that she just picked up the Ray Swiftly tank this morning in the Studio City store. I think I want to get this. Now that I run on the street I wouldn't mind having another super visible tank besides my Paris Pink. Thanks, Sara!
The men's new Light As Air Tech II shirt has some really nice features that I'm jealous of. It has a zipper pocket on the left side. (The only reason I know this is because it was featured in a store Facebook photo, it's not mentioned on the website anywhere. The photo featuring it is only shown for the black shirt, buried way down. Way to go web team, stellar as usual.)
It also has an earphone cord tunnel in the shoulder:
These are two features I wouldn't mind being brought over to the women's line. I often see Brooks and Nike short sleeve or sleeveless women's run tops with little zipper pockets and wish lulu would put zippers on theirs.
Showing the cord tunnel in the zipper pocket.
When I showed my husband the above photo, his immediate reaction was "cool" (unusual for lulu shirts) so he liked the look. He said it reminded him of the Nike Hyper Cool, which it does:
Nike Hyper Cool
The only bad thing about this shirt is the price - a hefty $72 but maybe I'll splurge for Father's Day.
