Bangbuster Price Going Up and Some Photos

Power Up Crop and a new Burning Yellow 105F Singlet. I believe the new batch of 105F Singlets are made of silverescent sheer luon. Shown with the Flip Your Dog bra underneath. This photo is from Australia so this tank isn't here yet.

Another Australian photo - the Flip Your Dog bra and Crane Crop in the Spring Has Sprung Print.

Mint Moment No Limit Tank and Wunder Unders.

Mint Moment Cool Racerback with a Free to Be bra underneath and Gather and Crow Crops

Mint Moment Cool Racerback and Right Round Pants.

People are reporting that all Bangbuster headbands are now $18 in the stores. They used to be $14 for the regular ones and $18 for the new silverescent luon ones. Boo on the increase! (Thanks to Ms. K. for the photo.)

Update - A reader comments the price increase is just on the silver luon Bangbusters. People have reported the ones that they saw that were $18 were white, black, and Inkwell. I haven't seen them in person but the tags don't indicate they are silver and I believe the headbands are lined so you can't flip them over to see whether the luon is the silver luon. Hopefully, it's the silver luon ones only.

If I heard correctly, all of the bang busters that are at a higher price are silverescent, but the tag just doesn't say that. Ask an educator!!

It could be but people are reporting back, white, and inkwell are $18. Not sure if these are silverescent or not - people thought they were the regular ones.. Hopefully it is just the silverescent.

I'm with you on the price increase on bang busters. MM doesn't look good on me b/c I think the color makes me look sallow on my Asian pallor, but that MM NLT with the MM WUC's is super cute. Conversely the pic with the girl in the MM CRB in down dog with her shirt falling down isn't exactly a selling point.

That flip your dog bra looks so messy and unattractive.

I have a bang buster from before Christmas and it doesn't have a price on it. Are they back to putting prices on the tags?

Silly LuLu. Raising prices AGAIN on pieces that they make more cheaply. No thanks. I'll take my business somewhere else.

No offense to anyone, but for the past 6 months, lululemon has some really nasty looking designs in regards to their tanks. I haven't bought anything lululemon in a long time. When are they going to hire back their old design team? What happened to the special edition scubas that they release during the x mas season? What's going on with all these nasty looking stripes? Every tank I see has stripes, really?

I paid $14 for a pink bang buster last week.

What were the 105 singlets made of in the past? And what is the benefit of the new material?

the prices are not on the items from the website. The stores have prices on the tags. 105F singlet would love to get a silverscent one.

Stuff purchased online does not have a price, but stuff purchased in store does.

I bought a Black Bangbuster yesterday for $14. Comparing the two tags, the SKU is different so I'm hoping that means that one is silver luon and the other isn't. Confusing though.

I like the new 'Surge' colour for The Mat. I'm looking into getting a yoga mat and I'm trying to decide between The Mat, a Manduka Prolite, and a Jade Harmony Professional. Any suggestions? For the most part I'll just be using it at home and doing some drop-in classes for Hatha and Moksha Yoga.

The $18 price is only for *silverescent bang busters, not regular ones.
@ Anon 5:48 - they never stopped putting prices on tags from items bought in stores, only the ones purchased online.

5:48, I buy Lucky Luon headbands and the price is always on the UPC tag...

I have the jade harmony & really like it. I never slip , it is cushiony & I like the unique material which is different from any other yoga mat: its called an open cell natural rubber. That said I just bought the Manduka black mat pro because its currently on sale in purple (called Black Magic) on Amazon for $77.62, which is a great price for this limited edition color! My two main reasons for getting the Manduka are: it lasts forever w/o breaking down, & it's thicker than the jade. I know the Jade will break down in a couple of years. The Mat is also great but I didn't like how it shows scratches easily. The material is smooth, unlike other yoga mats. You can't go wrong with any of these 3 mats! Also if you choose Manduka, I would just recommend the regular black mat pro instead of the proliferation if you aren't carrying around a lot. Happy shopping!

I was in the store today and saw $18 bang busters in black, white, and mint. $14 for love red and beaming blue. I know mint is silverescent, but neutral colors like black and white? Love red and beaming blue are older colors, so maybe the new stock us $18?

@4:31 PM, I have the Manduka ProLite. I'm happy with the cushioning and overall performance, but I find it slippery once my hands get sweaty. I need to put a towel where my hands go for down dog for the last third of a vinyasa class. I'd agree with the commenter at 7:42 PM and suggest going with the Pro if you won't be traveling a lot -- it's wider and has more cushioning than the ProLite.

Prices changing on Bang Busters...they raised the price on the No-Brainer Mat Strap last year. You could still get it in store at the lower price until they sold out of them, then it was the raised price. Maybe the mat strap was different as they don't re-sticker them? But maybe they've left the bang busters alone too until they sell out of the lower priced ones?

Mmm I've had the lululemon the mat for awhile and not sure if recommend it just yet. It's already quite scuffed and my gosh there's an odor. But my Co workers manduka pro, yes please!

@Anon 4.31pm: Can't comment on the Jade or The Mat but I have both the Manduka Black Pro (limited edition Black Dragon color) and the Prolite. Both are sticky and work well with mat towels. I prefer the width and the extra cushioning on the Black Pro, but it's a heavy mat. If you will be commuting a lot (without a car), I'd recommend the Prolite. Manduka mats come with a lifetime replacement guarantee too, even though, as the previous commenter noted, they last practically forever. Hope that helps!

Have heard nothing but great things about Manduka Pro and Prolite mats. I have the ekolite ( ultra thin travel one ) and it's so light, and it folds up! I take the metro, so that's perfect, but not enough cushion so I need a towel especially when I'm on my knees. I wish I just invested the extra $30 and bought the Prolite. At the time I was just beginning and didnt want to spend a lot and bought it from a yoga instructor's recommendation of Manduka.

I have the mat and I really like it except the weight, and when I first purchased the mat it smelled. My cat scratched it up so I will be getting a new one soon and I really like surge. I also have the unmat which is light and I have even used it in hot yoga with no towel and I don't slip, on hard floors it might be hard on the knees.
