I was just at my Lulu store and bought the new inkwell Uba Hoodie SE. It is really flattering on. The color is gorgeous. I usually wear 6s in most tops but tend to size up to 8s in jackets. The 6 in the Uba Hoodie fit perfectly. The 8 was way too big and the 4 was a tad too small. The jacket is also waterproof and windproof. It also comes in love red and an eggshell color.

The pic with the Pace Setter skirt and tank - are those both Flare? Because, wow! They look very different in that pic. Maybe it's just me, I'm over this neon orange. Also, can anyone compare the fit of the Right Round Pant to the Studio Pant? thx.

I am desperately hoping those Uba Hoodies make it their way online. It's the first time I've been truly excited about something in weeks! Anyone have any intel on this?

I have to say that nothing in this is appealing in the least. Coming out with stuff in "color waves" lately just weird and someone restrictive if you don't happen to like the color of the moment, or week, or month!!! Been finding Lulu totally Blah for the last few months, but my wallet is much happier :)

I noted on the TV show Nashville, the character Juliette Barnes was wearing a forme jacket in red/coal. It looked cute and not boxy / star treky on her, of course.

@tracy: i have the lined studio pants in an 8, and i think they are too big. (i wear an 8 in almost all lulu pants). i got the right round pants in a 6 but am thinking i might get an 8 instead, just so i know they'll fit with something under them. the waist is a tiny bit tight, as other people have pointed out, and the rise seems shorter than studio pants. i can't tell if they are going to stretch. that said, i really shouldn't have gotten them but i love them - i like the fit better than studios - they are simpler and more flowy. i got the silver color. (wish they came in coal or something) hope that helps! anyone else who has worn them around a bit already have advice on TTS or size down?

Why is TRON back?

I keep on expecting the model to pull out the light cycle and drive off the boardwalk...

I don't get having to do up 2 different zippers on all these new hoodies and jackets; it's an unnecessary bib underneath.

I went to the store fully expecting to purchase the new Get Up and Glow jacket in black, but the asymmetrical zipper looked kind of sloppy undone. The biggest disappointment was the front part of the jacket that hangs down. Total apron! It is so overwhelming I was drowning in it. I'm 5'2 so perhaps it doesn't work for shorties.

@3:17 I have both. The waist on the Studio pant is loose and stretchy, so I size down. The RR waist is tight and not very stretchy so I stayed with my normal pant size. RR pant leg is really wide and roomy, perfect for throwing on over leggings or shorts.

LLA-

Do you know what the reverse color the runder unders in classic stripe polar haze are? In the top photo it almost looks like the educator has them rolled up to be solid polar haze??

Thanks in advance!

also post pics of your new bang buster.. I actually like SHS in small doses!!

@ anon 8:40 pm - It does look to be solid polar but I wonder if that is just on the polar striped part and the black is black. I'll see if I can dig up some photos or see if I spot them in the store.

My bangbuster didn't come today. I forgot I ordered it Tuesday morning and not Monday night. It'll be here tomorrow and I will post it.

Flare/Inkwell Get Up and Glow Jacket looks very dumpy.

Funny how LLL used to be known for making stuff that is flattering. Now they've gone the opposite direction of flattering all the way to fugly.

One of those models is an "educator" from the store near me. Poor thing doesn't know any of the color names or style names--I feel like I am educating HER when I visit. Hopefully she has received some better training by now...

bangbuster looks great on the lady in the picture.

Honestly I can't imagine a real person wearing any of these outfits in real life. Only their models can pull them off maybe. The only item I do want is the SHS Bangbuster however--curious to see how you like it LLA!

I tried on the Ube jacket this weekend. I was so tempted because it looks really beautiful but had to resist because the fleece lining is totally useless. It's basically a 2-3 inch strip that goes around you neck and attaches to the jacket. Being that it's just that- I think they're overselling/over promising on the detachable part. Also- it's not fully attached in the back. The fleece parts zip up along the front zippers but around the neck, it's basically just tacked on with a loop behind the back of the neck. But otherwise, it's a beautiful jacket.
