Absolutely Love the Colors <3

I actually like the colour blocking. I recently purchased the SHS Chakra Pants. I love the colour blocking on them too and the print is just funky. I think the tides are turning for the colour blocking/pattern. Yes, I thought they are a little "too beaucoup" on first impression, but they grow on you! Plain colours look so borning next to these new patterns and colour combos. I've been converted! I just hope Lulu considers bring back their previous quality.

So tired of these colors. I'll be happy when the next one comes out. And hopefully there won't be stripes all over everything.

Can't decide if the flare/inkwell striped tanks are horrible, or interesting. Is it Halloween or just unusual?

Went to the store yesterday. Try on report:

Wunder Under crops Inkwell and Light Flare. Inkwell was not see through. Color is dull IMO. Light Flare is a little sheer. Nice spring color. But the fabric shows every little imperfections. I had to size up from my usual WU size (like the denim or Silverescent). I think both are Silverescent because I saw the gold stripes on the inside. Didn't look at the Hang Tag.

Free to be Tank in Inkwell Flare. Cute tank but too much like Halloween colors so I passed on it.

CRB Inkwell Flare. Also cute but like above, too much Halloween look. Also the material feels like luon light, very thin. I used to love their CRB - so form fitting and snug. And now, the material is so lose and cheap feeling.

They had a bunch of the reflective jackets, but I didn't find them appealing so they stayed on the hanger.

So I didn“t get anything from LLL. But tonight, I went on Atleta website and ordered 7 things from them. I love that you could return anytime, even months from now.

dislikie et al. those nasty super curved hemlines look K-mart or walmart to me! they are doing everything w/ this awefull super curved duck butt hemline- pass forever if they keep it up too!!!!!!!!! I purchased the 1/4 zip smartwool pullover which has the same body mapping fit as the older style lulu pullovers- love them will be buying those next year if they keep this horrible curved hemlines up!!!!!!!!!

I bought one of the striped tanks, but that is enough for me. It is just too tiresome to buy multiple items in it. I just don't get as much use from very busy-looking items.

I received my SHS crops and they are bad. Seriously, the color blocking is hard to pull off. I am a size 4, but I felt they made my hips/thighs look big. I have a very proportional hourglass figure and they did me no favors. If you are looking to add curves to your lower half, they will be perfect for you. I am exchanging them for the inspires, so I can still get the SHS print. I do worry a little about how the print distribution will be on such a tiny strip of fabric, though. Also, I have not bought the "new" version of the inspires yet.

5:01 patterns/colour combos etc. "they grow on you!" For me, no, not at all and they never will. If something has to grow on you, you're just trying to find a way to justify it. It's just something you tell yourself to feed your LLL addiction.

I'm glad to curtail my LLL spending by not buying the latest hideous stuff.

love the inkwell color. i bought the WU and wish they had a WUC. I think the color is similar to a denim jean color so everything you'd pair with jeans you can do with those. i am not a fan at all of that colorblocking and costumey crap either!

Nope. Nothing ! All ugly !

I love that smart wool is machine wash and dry, and no lasting stink!! Good purchase!

Weird store visit today:
So I saw the reflect jackets in person and I'm sorry to say they look dumpy :( and I'm so sad because the price is doable but pass for me. But interesting to note the MM stripes are apparently all Reflective- so that's kinda less walmarty. Also I LOVED the orange stripe get up and glow pants in person. I BOUGHT them even..... But the orange and inkwell vinyasas? HORRIBLE. Ugh. I think jut having it up by your face is a bad idea. Lots of SHS florals everywhere- actually quite nice. The draft dodger jacket HAD obviously had markdown stickers on them as each tag looked like a sticker had been ripped off of them... But sadly full price again today. Also- it still makes me sad to see the scuba table. Such a waste. AND I did not like the scuba shell se or whatever it's called. I would rather have a shell be something from Patagonia or Arcteryx... I did not like them and their weird shiny dickies... The end.

I also want to say as a triathlete I have massive thighs (22lbs of muscle in my right leg and 20lbs in my left leg) and I wear a 12 in tights. I was SUPER PISSED the get up and glow tights are only available in 10. Good thing I liked the orange and inkwell striped- because it barely fit and wasn't sheer but the mint moment one went sheer on me totally on the sides because they were TOO TIGHT in a 10 :(. If they start cutting all their technical down to 10s I'm going to be so upset!!

Went to the store and picked up the Get up and glow jacket and black reflect crops. I for one L.O.V.E the mint stripe combo. I can't get tired of Mint moment. I love that the get up and glow jacket is super reflective. I also tried on the $300 reflective jacket - it's so awesome how reflective it is but I just don't like the fit as much as I like the get and glow jacket. it also doesn't seem as breathable because of the reflective material. I love the fit of the reflect crop and the rouching detail over the reflective material. LOVE. Their reflective line is a hit with me. I hope they make more of these reflective stuff for the summer too.

Not really liking the colours and designs lately. Missing the good old days with Chip. He was much more sensible...

I can't remember a time in lulu history when the fugly stretch continued this long. Inkwell is the poor man's deep indigo, the flare silver WU were more cellulite enhancing than Ray (no easy feat), etc. Bad colors, patterns, and designs. Making it easy to keep resolution of not buying as much lulu.

They do have wuc in inkwell....I bought them (:

Anon 3:07PM - Me TOO! I'm a size 4 and the print made me look huge. Who in all honesty is really looking to "add curves on lower half"?? Not me for sure hahaha.

Lulu has had bad colour combos as of late, poor quality, bad customer service (according to the 100s of complaints on their FB Page) and now...to add insult to injury, they now have a 7 minute LIMIT on their changing rooms, in many stores??? Every day, I read more and more awful stories like this and the more awful stuff I read on their FB Page, the less I buy!!! They don't "think" this is going to hurt them, but in the end...it will!! I for one, have been buying a lot less in the last 2 years. I find it HARD to support a company, that says they have a certain "value system" and then they turn around and treat valued customers, like crap! I also find it funny, the automated answers they give on their FB page to try and explain, why it's OK for them to treat customers poorly! One explaination I read, said that each of their stores could decide on certain in-store policies of their own. Nothing like washing your hands as a company and passing the bucket onto someone else! If that's the case, then each store can treat customers as POORLY as they wish! :( I wonder how much lower, Lulu is going to go, in regards to how they treat their customers? It's seems to go lower every day, based on what their loyal customers are posting! it's hard to support a business, that doesn't seem to respect it's loyal customer base! I dunno....Lulu, you are headed in a very bad direction!

Do you guys ever wonder if you are just getting old? Times change. Fashions change. I'm starting to think all the commenters in LLLA are still wearing their high school haircuts. These colors and patterns are hot!

Check out this PU - lots of interesting stuff, including horrid color blocked wunder unders, EBB AND FLOWS WOOHOO! and a new bra, the Pirouette Bra Plux.

Picked up a draft dodger this past weekend that clearly was an online return but was marked down to $169 - as I had a $20 GC and something to return, I snagged it as I figured if and when it does go to MD, it will likely be around the $149-$169 mark (?).

Thanks for the product upload email, 1:28! So excited for Ebb & Flows!

That's kind of rude to say. These colors are def popular and in fashion season but that doesn't mean the majority of us follow whats in season. I'm 32 and I prefer timeless pieces that won't go out of fashion for working out. I don't think that makes me old.

I don't know if it has anything to do with age, it might be a combination of things. Some people like to make bold statements with their clothing, others are more conservative and are looking for function. I think these bizarre stripes and the blocking are a big trend at the moment. I see a lot of it not just at lulu but other high end shops. Sometimes it's fun to see someone running by in the crazy color blocking, it is cheery.
I saw a lady the other day wearing WUC and a pair of fluorescent pink patented stilettos. I was like whoa

Timeless is great--but--let's be honest, how many black pants does one need? Basic business principles allow for a percentage of "timeless" pieces and larger percentage of "current, relevant" pieces. Lulu has done a fantastic job of keeping colors, styles, blocking on target with the fashion industry. I love that new colors and styles cycle through quickly. I buy knowing that what I am getting is fresh and also won't be around two months from now. Go Lulu!!

I'm loving everything Mint Moment! Picked up the No Limits tank and coordinating Astro Wunder Unders last Friday. I have (too?) many No Limits Tanks, so I wasn't shocked at the continued comfort and fit. I have never purchased the AstroWUs; wore them for the first time in a sweaty, sweaty power vinyasa class and they are my new favorites! Plus, the tag in my crops read that they were Made In Canada. EH! :-)
