New No Limits Colors and More

New No Limit Tanks in Burning Yellow and Black/Spring Has Sprung Multi print.

From Australia - cute new Beach Runner crops in Bleached Coral. Also, it looks like a white Swiftly SS top and a matching Bleached Coral visor.

Denim Inkwell Forme Jacket, Burning Yellow Power Up Tank, and Inkwell Ebb and Flow crops.

Close ups of the Inkwell Ebb and Flow crops. I'm so tempted to order a pair.

You can cinch the Pirouette to make it a little more low cut

Those ladies in the top picture make the no-limits tanks look really good. I love the SHS/black one especially.

Does anyone think that the deep coal Ebb & FLows II are the same color as the black ones were last year? MY 'black' Ebb & Flows last year were really a dark grey, and not nearly as dark as all my other black bottoms.

I just talked to one of the GEC's online and asked if there were any differences in the Ebb & Flow I and II besides length. The answer was that the fabric of the II's was "maybe just a little bit thinner" than the fabric of the I's......

Love the new "spring has sprung" no limits!

Shoot. I'd already ordered the black and deep coal E&F crops, and after seeing this, I just ordered the inkwell. I don't own any E&Fs, but there are a few girls at my crossfit gym who love them, so I have been waiting for their return. I'm 5' 11", so I'll be okay with the 5" added to the inseam, but why mess with something so many people loved? HA! Did I really just ask that question? Never mind. :)

Just went to my local store and glad I didn't order the deep coal E&Fs. Too similar to last year's "black" for me to justify it. The flare was there and was so see-through there was no way I would even bring them home to consider them for a couple wks.

That's strange because Lulumum posted that she thought that the 2s were slightly thicker than the 1s. I know some ppl don't believe in "good batches" and "bad batches" but I have experience it first hand, not just with ebb and flows but it wunder under crops too. I wanted the power purple squiggle WUC and looked at 8 pairs before I found one with good stitching and slightly thicker material. Some of the pp WUC were made of VERY thin material.

I just got inkwell ones! I won't ever wear these e&f for anything but yoga with some full booty undies. I thought they would be great for xfit and kick box; but just way too sheer. I missed out on last years.

Just tried on the black and flare ebb & flows...both were sheer, and definitely were more thin than my e&f 1 from last year. The flare was so sheer that you could see a mole I have on my butt...before I even bent over! Not impressed with the fabric or the quality, and at 5'4 I HATE the longer length...They were basically pants on me. So glad I got all 3 colors the first time the e&f crops made an appearance. Nothing else was very interesting, so I didn't do a try on. I did catch a glimpse of a softshell jacket of some sort hanging in the back, but was spotted by the astute sales girls before I could snoop. It's not anything I'd seen yet. Oh, and that softshell Uba hoodie? Pathetic. The fabric was so thin and cheap feeling, I doubt it would block even a breeze...and I still think the dickie is incredibly weird and awkward. This jacket might keep you warm...in Phoenix on a warm day. I can think of not a single situation in which that jacket would be useful. Checked out the Pump It Up jacket...boxy up top, too tight across the hips...and i'm not a hippy person. Sizing up would not have helped either problem. Fabric was soft, zipper was very cheap as well. Tried on the scuba stretch and I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would, but I didnt like any of the colors and I still think it's way over-priced. It actually did feel less boxy that the original, at least on me. Something to think about if one ever shows up on WMTM. for the time being, my gift cards are just sitting in my wallet. Bummer. :/

Tried all the E&Fs today in store. Flare was so see thru you could see the hang tag. Black and Inkwell were less so, but you could still see my nude colored underwear with the bend test. Bummer, I wanted them for the gym. I wish they would make the material thicker in the back.

Can anyone tell me what ebb and flows are really good for? I think they look really comfy for just lounging! LOL. Do they stay put like wunder unders? I think they would make great long underwear too! -Jenn

Fyi from a girl with short legs...the ebb and flows are a major disappointment length wise. They hit me at my ankle, and looked horrible on me! I thought maybe I could push them up, but it didn't work. Glad I have a pair from last year.

Love the SHS NLT but what color crops would eveyone wear with these? I typically don't buy black tops for this reason.

Also one of my local stores (Atlanta- Howell Mill) got some interesting items in our PN today that I haven't seen on the blog yet. We got a really ugly devotion long sleeve (and this is coming from someone who likes the style and has three). It is solid white and the elbow accent are classic BW stripe. Its really odd looking.

I went to try on the E&Fs tonight. Nice fit but didn't purchase. I really didn't like the extra length. They are lovely around the waist though and no CT issues. I took the same size as I do in WUs. If the inkwell E&Fs were a stronger blue colour I may have bought them, they are more like a faded deminy blue. I tried them on with the inkwell CRB and they didn't even come close to matching. Totally different blues. The inkwell CRB is lovely but I would say fairly similar to the Black Swan so I passed on it for now. I also thought it was a tighter fit than my other CRBs. Not sure if that was the cut of the top or less stretchy fabric. The yellow CRB was an easy pass for me. Too sheer for my liking.

I have experienced good and bad batches as well. For example last year I ordered the ebb and flows in the navy at the Monday upload. Mine are not sheer. My yoga instructor wears some purchased in store - and they are very sheer when she bends over.

I agree. I was so excited to try the E&Fs but didn't end up buying. They were very sheer when I bent over. I even sized up from my regular size and still had the issue :( so the crops were bunching in weird places due to extra fabric and still sheer. I would have liked more of a navy not faded denim.

I tried on the SHS NLT and really liked it but feel the same way - colors would be hard to match because it's not a true black in my opinion. The NLT material just makes the black different. A lighter black.

was super excited about the E&F 2 because i really dislike knee length crops (sold my E&F 1s from last year for this reason). super disappointed. all see through in the butt when i bent over (i would be using them at crossfit, so they have to pass the squat test - i go commando, so even a bit of sheerness is NOT ok). flare was OBSCENE. like as is, sheer-mesh-underwear obscene. i swear my "sexy little things" victoria's secret underwear showed less...strange enough, they weren't obscene from the front, just the back. i don't know why they can't seem to use the same weight material or thicker in the butt?? anyway, the black and inkwell were fine standing up, but still somewhat sheer when bending over. not ok. also, i thought the sizin was just weird. i'm a TTS 6, but the 6 felt a little baggy in the legs around the knees and under the butt. they felt fine standing still but i could tell they'd fall down if i started jumping around. so i sized down in the 4, but then the sheerness got really bad...sigh. the first E&F were great in terms of fit and compression, only issue was length...these ones though are awful :(

I tried on the coal and the inkwell Ebb and Flows today..
SHEER!
I even went up to a 6 and they were too big in the calf area and still sheer in the rear!
Sad because I would have bought all 3!
I did get the burning yellow CRB which I love!

SEE....Im glad I didn't bite on the E & Fs!!! Better to wait, even if they all sell out! LOL Sounds like....many pairs WILL be returned! SEE....false hype over nothing! I KNEW IT!! :( It's always "too good to be true" with Lulu!!

How is the sizing on the No Limits tanks? I've been trying to figure out if I need to size down or not because of the bagginess. Such a cute top!

Can anyone please recommend an alternative to the E&Fs? I am looking for a wear-everywhere pair (can be cropped or full length) even on casual days under boots.

I tried on the new E&Fs with high hopes and almost got angry-- how is even the black sheer??? I've actually never had sheerness issues with Lulu before. FYI, I am a shrimpy size 2 and have zero butt to speak of.

the new ebb and flows are super, super sheer. even when I sized up you could clearly see the white tag through them. so sad, they are soft and I wanted them badly. also at 5ft tall they are not crops at all but rather hit me at the ankle. the only positive thing about them is the oval gusset, the crotch area creates zero ct issues.

Try to look for an older pair ebb and flow i on eBay. I have a pair of indigo ones that are not sheer but they are a size 4. I'm 34 weeks prego. I bought them in June or July and wore them a few times before I found out I was prego and the weather got cold. I am thinking about selling them on ebay since it will take me about 6 months to lose the baby weight... But part of me wants to keep them because they are super flattering. They actually make my small but look rounder which I love ;) I have to check out the new ones to see if I can let go, lol!

I have two of the previous E&F crops and they are not overly sheer on me. I just picked up the ii's in black tonight, and the thickness of the material is thinner. I tried them on with nude seamless underwear (VS neutral no show hiphugger sport) in the change room and they were fine. The crops came home. The only thing I'm not so happy about is the length, much prefer the knee length of the i's. However, the material covering the calf can be pulled up to below the knee, then folded back down to create a new hemline not even noticeable. The only thing I lose is the LLL logo, now hidden, and who cares! They are so comfortable and I'm in yoga at least 4 times a week. E&F's are what I reach for the most, and I like to rotate my gear.

I wear my regular size on the NLT. The bagginess is only on the tank part and you'd want your regular size on the bra part.

Anonymous said...

Ah, thanks Anonymous 7:51PM for the sizing info on the NLT! That makes sense.

@Sandra Don't let them go! It sounds like you obviously love them and they fit you well! With all the misses Lulu has had lately, I would stick to all my classics and what works.

Ebb and flows are glorified stockings or leggings. I saw a lady in yoga last night wearing those and it looked like she was wearing a pair of leggings from duane reade.

LOL
