NEW! Run: Reflect Jacket, Pullover, LS, and Get Up and Glow Tigh and Jacket

The new Run: Reflect Jacket. It's pretty dull in the daylight. I don't know why lululemon loves putting their zippers off to the side.

The Get Up and Glow Jacket. Why would you ever buy this color combo (Flare and Inkwell) unless they were your school colors? I was thinking I might like this jacket from the website photos but am not a fan of the side zipper at all. I also don't care for the curved hem. I have an older lulu run jacket where the back is a bit longer than the front but the bottom hem on this is really exaggerated.

The new Run: Reflect Pullover in Mint Moment. This isn't bad at all. I'll have to give this a try on in the store.

The new Run:Reflect Crop.

The Get Up and Glow Jacket and Tights.

anyone know what the rise on the crops is? The site doesn't say.

Just for people who also wonder about the side zipper, according to my running coach, this is so that when you are running with it zipped all the way up, its not jabbing you in the bottom of your chin. I have never run into this issue myself, but all my running gear that has a cowl neck has side placed zippers.

As for the length, I am actually happy that LLL is finally catering to the rest of Canada, and not just their warm weather store locations. Your bum really does get cold, and since most running pants are skin tight on your bottom, its nice to also have something covering it up so people are not checking out your ass.

Like I said before, I love the reflective parts, I have been complaining to them since 2010 for more reflective, but the price, HOly Hera!

Yay for your bangbuster not being $18, but any idea if they ever plan on bringing back out the lucky Luon headband?? It is my personal go to headband, and they seem to not be putting anything out in that design anymore.. boo.

Also, the SeaWheeze website is up and running, two pairs of shorts to choose between this year. Suprised I have not seen you comment on that yet!

The run reflective jacket looks dull in the day. The run reflective LS looks kind of unflattering with those wide horizontal stripes, no? I purchased the SHS bang buster

Wow something about these designs...just not flattering. And I'm sure these models are not fat.

I don't know why I even bother checking the uploads anymore, this stuff is all fugly and seriously overpriced. $118 for a very plain luxtreme pullover??

I really dislike the colour blocking and wild stripe patterns on everything, I don't particularly like any of the styles out right now and the prices seem to keep climbing.

I'm so bored of Lululemon lately!

Adidas had a "Flare and Inkwell" combo in the last couple of years {snore}. But I do like the Reflect Crop for the running I do at night.

LULU stock took a hit on guidance. Looks like the holiday quarter wasn't as merry as the analysts thought.

In the top photo, the off-center zipper doesn't look like it was done on purpose; it just looks like the jacket was poorly made.

I think that lulu is definitely wanting to get into the high end technical gear world. I sail competitively and a jacket for coastal racing is usually around $300.00US same with pants and forget about the shoes or boots. I use a lot of my lulu crops tights and they perform quite well, but if the prices keep climbing I'll go back to the brands I used to buy. I would like to check the reflect jacket out.
I live in the city and run in the dark. If it is high quality it could be worth it, but if it's poorly made it's just extortion.

The energy bra is on the site, but only in black. how about flare or inkwell or some of the other patterns, the energy bra is great especially for the busty ladies . Hoping they put out a few in other colors.

I like the pullover, but I don't like it enough to shell out $118. It's something I would snag on markdown though. Everything else is an easy pass for me.

SHS bangbuster, and run reflect crops with the handy dandy pockets on the side in SHS. With matching run reflect pullover in light flare AND not so basic gym tee in light flare. Screw it. I love the flowers and spring has sprung print. And I LOVE the light flare colour paired with it. What can I say? I'm a sucker for the light flare and the flowers. There I've said it. I'll take the shame I'm sure you all are going to throw at me. AND I LOVE the light flare and mint moment combos going on right now. I just do.

I am going to come out and admit it. I'm really interested in the jacket but I feel like it's WAY too much money and it might be too hot for running. It would be great for my bicycle commute but I'm going to wait for WMTM or a vest I think. There's no WAY people are going to pay full price for it I think.

I forgot to mention that I went to bikram yoga in the MM boogie shorts, and because they are reversible, when they get wet (I sweat a LOT!)they get heavy and stretch. They are fine if you arent getting them soaking wet. My friend said they were not see through.

I agree. I don't think it looks good at all on the GUAG jacket, especially the Spring has Sprung...

Where do these pictures come from? They are not flattering and are not helping Lulu sell anything. Eeek.

haha, the fb comments about the reflective run jacket are pretty funny. I sometimes get on their page and read the comments for fun. (I know...I need to get a life.)
It's funny...I was a Lulu fanatic for about 5 years, and now I just can't be bothered. I check this site to see what they're up to, because I keep hoping things will turn around, and it's hard to give up on something you loved for so long. I haven't bought anything in months, and I used to buy almost every week. I have moved on to Splits 59 and am trying out Sweaty Betty. It seems like no one at my cf is wearing the new LLL stuff anymore, and I also think that many of the new designs look too young for me. (I'm 31.)
If anyone is interested in other brands and looking for sizing info, I'm 5'3", 33" chest, 25" waist, 35.5" hips, muscular, and size 4 in LLL. I'm turning out to be an XS in Nike pants/S in tops, S in Splits 59, S in Sweaty Betty, and XS in Athleta.

I bummed the Sea Wheeze give away is shorts again. I'd bet they'll probably be speeds and Groovy Runs. I was in Disney Worl for marathon weekend and I was really surprised to see people wearing ther medals around the parks for a few days after the races. You would think wearing the race giveaway shirt would be enough to clue people in you ran. They have a Goofy Challenge where you run a half marathon followed by a full the next day and get three medals for it - the half, the full, and the Goofy. Some man was walking around with all three, clanking around. The medals are heavy and a pain to wear for long. ANYWAY, the point of all this is after having seen people wearing medals for days I can kind of get lulu's point about doing a very understated giveaway.

Can I get some help regarding a description of what light flare actual looks like? I'm a southern girl and this description would be best captured as to a college teams colors. For example, I've heard that creamsiscle pop looks like the University of Tennessee Orange. Thanks in advance.

Mini store report at my local store (PA CA). I bought the SHS reflect crops...sorry can't remember the name and I dropped them off for alterations so I don't have it in front of me, but I think these are the crops someone asked about rise. They are definitely mid rise +. I'm 5'3 1/2" and I took them in to be hemmed 1 1/2 inches. Finally LLL put the logo up far enough to be able to cut a couple of inches off and still look unaltered for us shorties.

Also bought, surprise to me, a pump it up tank/bra (again, not sure of the name) Love the bra! And I love that the tank can be separated from the bra, unlike a no limits. Really a two for one (an expensive "one", but you get two pieces none the less). I wish the bra was sold separately, but since I bought the polar haze I think a SHS bra would be really nice under the tank also, and the striped bra (although I am not a fan of stripes) can be used with a different tank, or alone.

I went in specifically for the BYellow tank, which they did not have on the floor, but one of the Eds was nice enough to rummage through the latest shipment and pull me out one! LOVE. I can see pairing this yellow wth BD, indigo, limitless, BB, grey, black, purple, etc. I can even see it underneath polar cream zip, or flare variation. Fingers crossed maybe a swiftly LS for me.

I also purposely wore my toothpaste pullover and light aqua CRB to compare to MM. Not much difference, in fact it convinced me I do not need to buy anything in MM.

I did not care for the asym zip on the jackets, and I like asym zips! I liked the full reflective jacket, but I'm not a runner, so no need. I like the reflect zip ups, but I have too much flare variations, I don't need MM, and I don't need another black pullover (and again, I'm not a runner) Tempted by the new flare color because it's more on the orange side.

I tried on the RR pants. OK, in a "boxing pant" kinda way. I own too many DSP so I can live without...although if they go on sale and I can find the black ones (slim chance). Also, I found them most comfortable TTS. If you size down you may end up with a tiny muffin top as the waist band elastic is tighter.

I was hoping to find the DDodger jacket on sale, but now, finally with so much new stuff arriving, I think I've moved on. The store had almost all of the new stuff out on the floor, but at least 6 unopened boxes too.

Oh, one more thing...I wanted to like it, but I found the inkwell Daily jacket to be pretty plain...really plain. For $128, think about other things you can spend that money on....seriously! Or wait for something better.

Is it just me or does the first jacket remind you of Star Trek?!? I would be slightly embarrassed to wear this.

Light flare is a very bright, neon orange. Not sure if it would be close to any college colors.

those curved hemlines on every pullover? what gives? I now buy smartwool pullovers w/ the 1/4 zip neck they have the same design that lulu used to use for their pullovers. No cute ruffles and detail but that kick ass cut that makes you look good and a great natural fabric to boot! I've been shopping other brands too! I still love lulu don't get me wrong but they have quite making most of the items i buy and love! Big Boo!

Run: Reflect Pullover - the collar looks pretty annoying.

@ Runitmy way 7:55 AM - totally agree with your comments! Everything is ugly, overpriced or Zzzz. It's a slippery slope for LLL to crash...

That is funny about people wearing a medal(s) around their neck at Disney to show they ran it. To each their own, I guess. Have run many races and the medal sometimes gets worn momentarily after I've crossed the finish line, had some food, and that's it. They hang up at home in an out of the way place.

I also don't keep the race shirts anymore (donate) I'm actually going to stop even taking them if they are ugly and poly. Going to hand it back to the race organizers when I get my race kit, since they are often technically inferior. I've kept a few of the great ones that are truly technical and are good looking. I don't even wear them when I run, sometimes just around the house.

I liked having a wrist band for SeaWheeze instead of a bib. I hated the shorts and tried to sell them on CL. I wanted the cool CRB with the fish on it that staff had.

I'm not going out of my way to run SW. If a business trip takes me out there (5 hr flight for me) again at that time, then I'll do it.

I bought the crops yesterday and would say that they are medium to high rise. The tags doesn't say either. They are really nice and flattering on.

Got some sale Ananda yoga crops from Athleta today. That fabric is absolutely thick and YUMMY. The best part? They were $44 and if I EVER decide they are not performing the way I want them to, Athleta will take them back, no questions asked. In fact, I would probably receive a heart-felt apology for the product not meeting my expectations. I have really been impressed with their running and yoga crops.

Ugh on the clanking medals days later. I'll wear a race shirt on the flight home - actually, when I wore the Nike half finishers shirt, it was a great icebreaker for my seatmate to talk running - she was Ryan Hall's mom! I'll wear my Boston jacket on the flight home in April. Medal? Inside the carry on.

@anon 7:05 - While I liked the wristband, I also like bibs so I can record my time on the back of them. Tough to do with the wristband. :)

Looks like they've fixed the course so it's closer to a 13.1 instead of 13.4, by moving the finish line back.

I'm excited they'll give us choices on the shorts - and hoping it's Groovy vs. Speed (I'll take the Groovy's). I'm signing up as soon as it opens. Already have my hotel.

Thanks anon 5:26! I love orange, but I wanted to see if it would work before ordering.

I would love to see the Run Reflect Jacket in black if you come across any pictures of someone wearing one. Also, I wonder if the black is as reflective as the silver?

My local LLL stores have been overtaken by junior high and high school girls. I teach in a high school and don't care to wear teenager clothes. Bummer. I hope there currant orange stripe line makes them lose interest. I know they wouldn't b caught dead in a lot of the currant items.

i am sick of all the RUN stuff. Where is the yoga stuff? Seriously tired of checking and checking and nothing is remotely interesting. I notice at my gym no one wears new LLL gear, just the tried and true old stuff. I saw one tiny-breasted lady in the Scoop Me Up tank the other day and it made her chest look horrible the way the seams cut across her breasts. Just so unflattering!

You may have noticed running the disney races that alot of time these races are people's first race and sometimes people who never thought they had been able to run and are proud to show off they ran and finished ( you get the shirst just for signing up). I ran many races and Boston and still wore my medal to the park later that day because really its the happiest place on earth and where mouse ears are acceptable to wear. Luluaddict i usually agree with you but you are being judgmental and a mean girl to people who are really proud of themselves.

yea! i love the ebb and flows! i was looking at the asutralia site and they had the pow pink in the SL swiftly. did the us ever get those in?

I just took at look at the Sweat Betty website - wow!! If they were in Canada I would be dropping LL like a hot potato! Love that you can see a video clip of a model wearing most of the pieces.

Do the ebb and flows run TTS? I wear a 2 in wunder unders but prefer a 4 in other pants/crops/speed shorts. What size would you recommend?

OT: I live a 2hr plane ride away from Van, would the warehouse sale be worth it? It's like my 2nd home anyway but just curious as I've never heard of these before. Thanks :)

The jackets are all HIDEOUS. Unflattering shapes...look like rain ponchos you could buy at Bass Pro shop or something. Not a fan of the curved hemline when it's that exaggerated.

Ha! LLA -- I was in Disney this weekend, too, and my family (who are not marathoners) asked, "Do you usually wear your medals around for days after a race?" I found it rather odd as well. Though I gather it's a popular race for first-timers, so perhaps they want to bask in the accomplishment a little longer? I'm also bummed about the SeaWheeze swag being a choice between two shorts (why not shorts or skirt option or shorts or tee option?) -- so much for them listening to feedback. I hate to say it, but I may not make the trek last year. I had to go on a six-month lulu ban to convince my husband to go last year, and I LOVED the experience, but the SHARP decline in quality and style over the past few months does not give me confidence that this will again be a first-class event, and the fact that I never wear shorts automatically means the commemorative gear will waste away in my closet. Bummed...

Some new WMTM items (Runder Under for one example).

Anonymous said...

Has anyone seen any new mark downs this week?

W said...

Whoa! So excited about Ebb & Flow crops. I hope this batch isn't sheer like previous ones. I wonder if they will be uploaded online as well.

Anonymous said...

I wonder when the next upload for WMTM is gonna be. some items have been sitting the the full priced section for way too long like the racing length CRB in flash light!

Hopefully the pump it shorts will go to WMTM soon too. It doesnt seem very well received.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:21 am - I don't think many first timers participated in the Goofy Challenge - a half marathon followed by a full but I think some did because quite a few times were very long 4 hour halfs and 7+ hour fulls.

Anyway, you can be proud all you want but wearing the medal 3 days later is rather silly. And wearing all three medals is just crazy. I don't think people would wear the shirt if they didn't run the race.

12:14 PM, I wear a 4 in all LLL bottoms, including WU's, and my E&F are size 4 (2 pairs). I would not recommend you size up. There's a lot of stretch in them.

On the whole sheerness issue, they are sheer on some people and not on others, even in your tts. There is much differing experience for the E&F i. Me, I wear nude seamless underwear and remain discreet/tasteful. Maybe they solved this issue for the E&F ii (doubtful due to the way they are manufactured). I will be buying black swan if NA ever gets them!
